Wes performed a maintenance check on our furnace. We also had an iwave-r air cleaner which is suppose to clean the air and stop dust particles. It is suppose to clean the air for bacteria and viruses. Wes was very helpful and explained everything that he did with our system. I would highly recommend Wes. He is very professional

I scheduled an appointment with NW Plumbing & Heating, thought that they were going to provide a good value service. The day of appointment no one showed up or called. I reached out because I thought I may have had the wrong day. Turns out I was forgotten about.After setting up a new date/time I gave benefit of the doubt that this would be resolved. 5 minutes after this 2nd appointment I was called again to be notified that I was outside of their service area by 6 miles and my appointment was being canceled. Would have been nice knowing that a month ago. I didnt have urgent service needed but it may become that soon after getting the runaround from this contractor.

Tom was very helpful. After walking through the issues we were having, he had a good sense of how to proceed. He took care of what he could right away and helped us set up additional steps to fully address our issues for the future. I have high confidence that we will be able to resolve all issues after additional appointments with the water company and a return trip.

Brian P answered our initial service call to repair a leak at the bottom of our 38 year old toilet. After conferring with Brian and seeing the cost of repair, we decided to purchase a new toilet which he installed within a week. He also repaired a second (newer)toilet for us.Brian impressed us with his honesty, professionalism, and his kindness. We were extremely satisfied with the job he performed for us.

Dan was 3 1/2 hours late for the initial appointment evidentially because of a mix up in the office which was not his fault. The rest of the appointments went smoothly. Dan was professional, knew what he was doing, and cleaned up after, leaving everything spotless. Considering that Dan encountered a basement full of water because both my water heater and sump pump were aged, and clearly not working-I think he did a marvelous job. I actually felt guilty and negligent for not cleaning up the water before hand, because then Dan had to walk around in it while he was working. The service was superb. The cost was comparable ($150 cheaper) to another service that I called-both pricey, due to name brand equipment. I would have given Dan 5 stars because he was friendly and seemed to be very very knowledgeable about his job. But I gave 4 stars due to the cost and late for initial appointment. Although, not enough time to really judge whether a job has been done correctly, yes, I recommend Northwest for replacement of a water heater and a sump pump because of superior service. I will say Northwest was initially recommended to me for work done on a rental home.

Called Northwest Plumbing and Heating because the floor drain in our basement was backing up and flooding every time we used the water. Also we had a terrible smell from sewer gas that would permeate the entire house whenever we used our master bathroom. Joe R. came out the next day and was able to diagnose and fix the problems right away! He’s definitely an expert in his field! We actually had two issues that ended up being unrelated and wasn’t at all what I thought, but Joe knew his stuff ! He and Dan were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We will definitely use them in the future and would recommend to anyone! Thanks guys!!

We had a great experience with Joe! He was very friendly and professional. We don’t know much about plumbing but he was very knowledgeable and explained everything in a way so that we could easily understand. He gave us his honest opinion on what he’d recommend and worked with us to find the best option for us. The overall job was more expensive than we expected but Joe definitely made us feel at ease with the value that we were receiving. We know that if we have any issues, they will back their service completely. The service was completed in a timely manner. We will recommend Northwest to anyone looking for a local plumbing company.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys! Our water heater was on the fritz and they did their absolute best to get out to our house as soon as they could and give us reasonable options for our water heater. We ended up replacing it and were very pleased. Everyone we worked with in their office as well as both plumbers we worked with were incredible. This was our first time but we will definitely use them again!

Service person was excellent. Asked if where he parked the truck was OK. Put shoe protector on. Did a outstanding job checking the unit, fixed it quickly and stayed to make sure everything worked perfectly. He was so professional, polite, friendly and explained things as he worked!

I had water in my basement and had called Northwest and five other places who are all busy today. Northwest call back saying that they were in my area and would have time to come over. They showed up within five minutes of the phone call and were very friendly and professional. The issue was resolved within less than 30 minutes. The guys explain to me what had happened in what to do to stop the issue from happening again. Both were incredibly nice and very professional. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and will be using them again!!!

We use the NW Mechanical Service Plan. Have been customers for 10 years or so. What has stood out over the years is the character/quality of the people who come to our home. Today, we got Wesley back. He had previously been here enough times that I would ask for him whenever we scheduled service. COVID-19 caused an interruption in his assignment. Wes is personable, he is modest and he is thorough. He explains his findings and what was done and/or what needs to be considered. Northwest Plumbing exceeded my expectations. The main water line to our home broke causing us to lose all water pressure. Joe and Tyler were beyond courteous and understanding when it came to our issue. Upon fixing the line we found lead piping to our home. Tyler put in so much time and effort to get our water running so we didn’t have to go too long without it. He literally pulled a 14 hour day to make sure we had running water and was back at 7am the next morning. The city we reside in and our insurance has been less than helpful. Northwest’s kindness, help and hard work ethic were one of the few redeeming interactions we had during this entire ordeal. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that has an issue.

Dan arrived as he stated.He assessed the status of my water heater and said that it needed to be replaced. He gave me the price which I agreed with and began getting the job taken care of. An upstairs condo provides some extra effort including draining the old with a longer hose, getting it down a flight of stairs, bringing the new one up those 13 stairs, getting it to fit into a tight spot and getting it all set up.He was very professional in keeping me informed of exactly what was happening.Dan was great like all the people I have had do work for me from Northwest over the years. We had been out of town for several weeks! We returned home late Saturday evening and realized we had no hot water and our hot water heater was leaking and flooded parts of our basement! We called Northwest Mechanical’s 24 hour number! Joe returned our call immediately! He spent his Saturday night searching for a new water heater that would work! He found the exact one and he and Dan came over by noon on Sunday!! They removed the leaking heater and replaced it with the new one. We felt so blessed to have them come here on a weekend!!! They were so nice and both very professional!! They were very careful removing and replacing both heaters!!! They cleaned up thoroughly!! We will highly recommend them to others!! We think they deserve 6 STARS!! We thank them and Northwest Mechanical!

Can I give 6 stars? Joe, Tyler & Tom did a fantastic job for me. They were all very polite, friendly, and worked efficiently on my two major projects and did so with ready smiles. I was so happy that they were able to coordinate the work to minimize the interruption to my busy schedule. Tom removed the line and spigot that was in my garage and put in two new outdoor spigots for me. The new lines are nice and clean, with indoor shutoff valves near the spigot. They are going to make it so much easier to take care of my garden this summer! Tom was very good about making sure I knew where the shutoff valves were and that they would be easy to operate if needed. Tyler (in training so Joe assisted where needed) replaced the drains, traps, and pipes under my kitchen sink. It had been such an incredible mess! They removed the old pipes (including ones that had been left by whoever had cobbled the drains before), and totally rebuilt the plumbing under the sink so it is nice, clean, and efficient. It is beautiful and now looks just like it is SUPPOSED to look. They also replaced the supply lines and faucet for me, completing everything to perfection with no leaks, drips, and the sinks now both drain well, even at the same time. ALL of them made sure and even double checked that any mess they made in the process was cleaned up and taken away. They made sure I knew what they were doing and WHY (which is important to me) for each step. The explanations were clear and concise. I am very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy that I have experienced with Joe, Tyler, and Tom. I could not be happier with their clear communications, efficiency, and thoroughness. Thank you so much for your EXCELLENT service!

Dan was very professional, he was not leaving until he fix the problem. He called and did that he would be here in 20 minutes and he was here in 20 minutes. Northwest Plumbing was the only place I seen with after hour service. I will be using them again and I also seek recommend to friends.

Mike was great to work with. He was extremely honest, helpful & professional. He alerted us that the issue was not our piping, but actually a leak from the roof. In the middle of a kitchen renovation we had our water heater go out. Luckily, Northwest was able to send Ben that day to troubleshoot the situation. We were presented with a few options. Considering the age, we decided to have the entire unit replaced. Ben had the existing water heater removed, new delivered and installed in a matter of a couple hours. He was extremely thorough going over everything with us from beginning to end. The experience made it a no brainer for us going forward on who to call next time we run in to similar issues.

We had a stand pipe from washer unclogged and a corroded sink drain replaced. Joe gave us a quote before getting parts and starting work. Ive used Northwest for many years for my home and rental property. Needed to have a cartridge replaced in a shower. Was a really old model and hard to track down. Initially they had the wrong faucet kit, but they were able to find the original one and got it setup. Works great and I always appreciate when a company takes good care of there customers.

Very happy with the service that Joe provided! He was knowledgeable and took the time to educate us on our sewer ejection system and sump pump. We never felt like we were being upsold. Super friendly and completed the work in a timely manner. The diagnostic cost was reasonable, more so than a couple other plumbing and heating companies in the QCs. This is our second time using this company and we are first time homeowners.

No, the scheduler set a time for Tuesday at 1:00. He didnt come till 5p and then he didnt have the part. He told us hell have the scheduler call us for a new time. The scheduler didnt call. So I contacted at 4:23p. She scheduled us for 8 to 9a on Thurs. He didnt show. I called at 9:15a..He said that he be at our house in a half hour or so. He needed to get the parts. I spoke to the manager, explain to him what happen and canceled the appt.

The technician was able to visit our home the same morning that I had called and quickly propose an acceptable solution. We appreciate the professional work done well.

We called for a clogged drain they came and charged us $523.23 two days later the drain clogged again. we called them back and they said we had to wait for a camera. We asked them to unclog the drain now camera later. The man said I cant do anything but come back out and charge you another 500 dollars That is unacceptable!!! We had to call TMI They fixed it and used a camera and Guaranteed there work. Northwest owes us $523.23 in my opinion. I have never been so mad at a company in my life. To cost a working family that much money two and four days after thanksgiving, says a lot about the company. Happy holidays used to mean something else. I will let everyone know what the tech said to my wife!!!!!!!! I can not believe that I am writing an edition to this review. We were contacted by the company and treated with an apology, That does not happen near enough these days. It says good things about a company when they are willing to fix things and make them right. After the talk we had with the company I would now indeed call them again. Everyone gets a second chance and these guys earned it. Thanks again for everything.

Joe and Dan had to replace the drain under the floor in the basement. Northwest quoted the job after they had unclogged the drain a month earlier. They arrived on t8me and began the job. Without knowing all the specifics, there were unforeseen difficulties encountered. Although this would require longer to do the job (it went into the second day), it did not change the quoted price. The job was finished to everyone’s satisfaction. Finally, when it was completed, Joe was taking pictures of the job with his cellphone to show a friend. One would only take photos of something they were proud of. This is the kind of person I want working on my projects. This is why I have been a long time customer of Northwest (new furnace, central air and sump pump plus annual maintenance on HVAC. They provide consistent quality and value. I will never look for someone else to do any of my plumbing or heating needs. Thank you to Joe and Dan for a job well done.

Replaced gas water heater with tankless version of same.Tom were great to work with and installed to code in a challenging area. Discussed placement options and reasons and were flexible.

Called Northwest and they couldnt get to me until a week later when I had a down furnace. Fortunately, I have a second to supplement and keep the house warm so it wasnt a big deal. They were nice and courteous on the phone so I didnt call anywhere else. The next morning I got a phone call saying they had someone cancel and wanted to get me in that next morning. Mike came out and was friendly and open about what he was doing. He fixed the gas valve, gave me some pointers on things I could do myself and what to keep up on as a new home owner. Good conversation and good people. Will be doing business in the future, hopefully way in the future.

Inspection of sump pump, determined need for replacement and and replaced sump pump. All were done correctly and in a timely manner. Arrived about 15 minutes before estimated scheduled time.

We called on Monday and requested a Tues morning appointment, Northwest was able to meet that request. Dan called when on way and gave approximate time of arrival, altered slightly due to GPS taking to incorrect area. Was quick with estimate, work completed quickly. Wore face mask and shoe covers in the home, aware of need for respect of homeowner. Pricey, but I guess that is the way it is. Thank you for helping make our problem resolve so quickly.

Joe Robertson was awesome this morning, I had a non functional water line to my refrigerator and a leaky outside hose bib. He gave me a quote, went and got what supplies he would need and in less than 3 hours, my ice maker had water and the outside hose bib was replaced and I now have shut off valves in the basement. Brian P came to reset toilet that carpet installer had me remove per his trainer or partner Joe, and install a new sprayer on kitchen sink that I bought at Aldis but didnt realize was just a replacement for the aerator without any major installation necessary. I forgot about removing vinyl flooring while he went to get a new seal, but he pulled this before lifting toilet over the wide sink that plumbers have wiggled, shimmied and jimmied in sideways for years. Barely refraining from laughter as he had to remove the handle mid air and reassemble innerds, I was impressed by how much more comfortable it was to use after he left.Highly satisfied with his work, I will request his assignment to any future jobs I may need completed by a professional. The service was good, but the price wasnt as good. Charged $375 plus tax to clean out a clogged main line. I found out that this is about 2x to 3x more than other companies I later got quotes from to compare prices. I originally chose this company because of all the good reviews and I liked that they had information about their employees on their website which I thought was nice, but I was a bit disappointed about how much this cost.
