I recently purchased a home with a home warranty. Shortly after moving in the water heater stopped working. It was a 2008 and the home warranty’s contractor was going to be a few days to even come look at it. Not being a fan of cold showers I decided to replace it. Within about 30 minutes of talk to them Dustin was here and ready to work. Very professional, knowledgeable and quick. In about an hour or so I was back to having hot water. Really great people to work with.

I had just moved to the area and purchased a home built in 1959. I wanted to replace a toilet by myself, but realized I had a problem as soon as I removed the old one. It would require replacement of an old cast iron flange. I didnt have any experience with cast iron, so I chose to call a professional.Checking Google, I found a few near me that had high ratings; Lynch was one of those. They were able to come out the same day. Jimmy stayed in contact with me to provide a specific time when he would arrive. He looked at it and knew exactly the issue I was facing without me having to describe it. He provided me an estimate and he was able to return the next day to begin work.I did not have any negative experience with Lynch. Jimmy was very professional and knowledgeable. The cost was exactly as I would expect; they are competitive with the prices where I am from. They provided high quality work. I will call on them again when the need arises.

Was loading the dishwasher (because my daughter didnt do it) and while doing so, was surprised by a puddle on the floor in front of the sink. Turns out the sink drain which was ridiculously hodge-podged had broken apart. Called in the morning and Dustin arrived a few hours later. He was very prompt, courteous, and professional. He fixed that disgusting (and smelly) mess in minimal time and was on his way. Would highly recommend Lynch Plumbing and Dustin. Hopefully I dont have to call back, but know Ill get great service if I do!

Over tightened valve at in house main water line. Called and spoke to owner. Impossible man. Wouldnt rectify mistake and un solved issue. Called Northwest. Prompt, courteous and recognized the mistake by Lynch immediately. Lynch refused to cover the repair cost of their mistake. Do not recommend this owners company.

They were very timely when we urgently needed a new sump pump. They did a great job installing everything. They were priced fairly too.

Very professional and easy to work with. I liked that I received updates via text throughout the progression of the appointment. Keeps the customer informed at all times. Quality work and advice to avoid future issues. Will use Lynch again as needed. Prices were fair as well. I highly recommend others use Lynch.

Jamie did excellent work while replacing our sink faucets. It was not a simple job though he worked effectively. Jamie was personable and he kept us informed as to what needed to be done. Lynchs technician left the pilot gas line loose after replacing the thermocouple, causing the house to fill with natural gas. Company tech wouldnt return until next morning. Mid-American Energy came & resolved the gas leak but pilot would not stay lit. Lynch technician would not come back (5:30 pm) so no boiler all night. He came back & lit pilot next day, but it went out later same day. It still goes out multiple times daily. After 2 weeks of calls & texts to the Lynch tech, & calls to their office, still no response. My 93 year old grandma has to use space heaters because her boiler wont stay lit. I am having to light the pilot two to three times a day. I will never use Lynch services ever again. Hometown was swamped. No wonder Lynch wasnt. Also, they said last week that they would call me back in regards to the boiler not working since they worked on it and I havent heard back yet. I have missed a total of seven hours of work so far between three days due to their shoddy job.OWNER RESPONSE REBUTTALSo, despite this issue not occuring before the thermocouple was replaced, despite the technician EXPLICITLY TELLING US to contact him ON HIS PERSONAL PHONE if we had problems, despite unreturned calls to the office (Im not going to demand anything of your receptionist, this isnt her fault!), despite having no conversation with your company about additional repairs (this is the first time Im hearing about no funds), and despite this review, WE STILL HAVE NO HEAT AND NO CALLBACK. I work second shift, I get home at midnight!

Tommy & Jimmy added a bathroom in my basement with full on excavation of several feet of concrete and replacement of old cast iron. They did a great job & cleaned up well. They have also done small projects for me and done exceptional work. I recommend Lynch Heating & Plumbing for any jobs big and small.

I highly recommend! Second time using Lynch today (separate issues). Prices are reasonable. These guys are fantastic, personable, and patient! They find the problem and fix it rather than a fix for the day so they can come back a week later to charge more. They also explain why the problem is a problem in terms a simple person can understand. I will continue to call Lynch if I have issues in their field.

Arrived Early, with notification. Explained exactly what he was doing and what it was for. Entertained my questions and responded with confidence. Good multi-tasker, took a couple calls from co-workers to help them out, and didnt miss a beat helping me out. I am horrible with names but I know where he works and will request him again if I am ever in a pinch again. FYI the office help was just as helpful and courteous.

This place is very unprofessional I had called to set up a appointment 2 or 3 weeks ago I think it was because my landlord told me to call them and they never showed up second I tried calling them and they didnt answer so I told my landlord and he told me to call them again the next day and I told them no one even came out so they said they wanted to come out the next day but I was at work so I had to call my husband and see if he was going anywhere so they can come out and they said they were on there way but a half hour to 45 mins passed and still not there and so my husband had to leave to come get me and he wanted to call them and ask them how much longer because he has to leave and they got into a argument because they told him that they dont have to explain anything to him because they spoke with me but I was at work and I just wanted our air fixed and they were just being very rude. then when my husband was getting ready to leave 2 people they sent out to work on my air came out and they were young and my husband asked if there is anything they need to do inside because he has to leave and they start recording him saying that and walking away and my neighbors were outside smoking and they go out and talk to my neighbors and they show them the video of my husband and they wanted to know how much our rent was because they said they were going to over charge us and not give the bill to my landlord they were going to give it to us also they asked our neighbors if we have any fish or anything because they were going to turn off our water and power while we were gone and they didnt know what they were doing and our air is not working right when they supposedly fixed it. I dont appreciate how they handled things and how they talked all that stuff about us and threatening to turn someones water and power off the switch is in the hall but you dont threaten to touch people stuff because of a mistake you guys made by missing a appointment and not calling or no answer and since it took so long to cone my husband had to leave to come take me somewhere on my break but i know who not to go through if i ever had issues thanks

Had a leak from upstairs bathroom. They came out and cut holes for fix. Left say it’s lead piping so everything needs to be replaced. Came out for 2 estimates and rescheduled twice. Day before first appointment they canceled bc tech broke collar bone....ok but not really my problem however I rescheduled. Meet at my house day of rescheduled appt and he said yeah I’ll get it done and walks outside and drives off. I get a call they can’t do work. They did the flipping estimates looking at everything. Not weeks later I’m left with no work done and holes in my house. Don’t use them. They even called me back and tried to argue about their failings. So flipping mad right now.

Jimmy showed up on time and motivated. Let me know what I could be potentially walking into for the repair I thought I needed. Man am I glad I listened to him, can’t believe any water was flowing. Great place to deal with.

I cant be happier with this company! They ALWAYS have my best interest at heart. They could have charged me thousands of dollars for a furnace replacement but instead they were honest and told me that my furnace was repairable, after another company told me it wasnt. Everyone is always so nice and they actually listen and answer all of my questions (theres a lot) I dont see how anyone could leave this company a bad review when they are the most honest and friendly people Ive ever worked with. These are my go to guys for everything!

My first posting about Lynch is below, but I feel the need to update!! Lynch is just amazing! A/C went out and they were out here to check it out right away! No one likes spending the money that comes with costly fixes, but with Lynch I get a fast response and great customer service EVERYTIME!! Truly, Lynch has great customer service, great response time and decent prices! You cant go wrong!Lynch is my go to! I have a home warranty, but there are times when you cant get their vendors to get out in a hurry and Lynch is available within hours! The guys are amazing and I cant recommend them highly enough! Eli is an amazing plumber, but Ive used them for heating and cooling too! Cant go wrong using Lynch!!!

I set up an appointment at a rental property. I informed them when I called that I would be waiting in my car at the property and if the service person did not see me they should call and I would let them into the property. The company disregarded my instruction, which the service person said he was never told to contact me. The service person that evening and the receptionist the next day said no one was home when the service person arrived. In fact, there was a Lynch plumbing card attached to the front door of the apartments. After they both told me no one was home they changed their story to say that one of the tenants was home but informed him she could not stay. Then they changed their story again to say someone was home and showed him the bathroom upstairs. While sitting in my car I received a text from Lynch saying the work was completed and thanking me for my business. I called the office right away to ask why I received a text about work being complete when no one called me to let them into the apartments. The plumber called me within a few minutes to say that he could come back out to look at the issue since he lived a few blocks from the house in question but could not fix the problem and that it would require another service call the next day in order to do a diagnostic service on the problem and another service call to fix the problems. I explained that I was sitting outside the home waiting for a call to let him in. The house sits on a tall hill so you cannot see cars parked in front, nor can you park in front due to residential parking only of other home owners). He repeated that he was never told to contact me for entry into the property.After our conversation I canceled my appointment and told them not to bother coming back over and not to come the following day. That I would be contacting someone else to do the work. I was not going to pay $105 for that evening, $105 for a diagnostics call the next day and another $105 for them to fix he problem. I did not see any of my tenants leave and considering I was parked where all of their cars are parked I find if hard to believe he talked to anyone. I went into both apartments immediately after speaking to the service person by phone and both apartments were empty.At no time was I informed of a service all fee, which I was told the next day by an angry receptionist/billing person is $105. She called to tell me the next day to tell me off. This is their form of customer service. The customer is not right in their book, the customer is the problem and they are going to be sure to let them know by arguing with them and being rude. Lynch Plumber is now charging a full service fee for the driver to come to the home a few blocks from his own home, do NO diagnostic work and NO repair. Beware of this company and be sure you know what they will actually do on the first call to your home, and how much they will charge for someone to drive a few blocks. Do not give them any special instructions since those will be ignored. According to the service person they require two service calls for each job. One to diagnose the issue and a second to fix the problem. So you will have a minimum of a $210 bill before any service begins.

Lynch Heating & Plumbing is always there for us no matter the size of the job. They are very helpful even after their job is done if I have any questions. Would definitely recommend them for your plumbing and heating/AC needs!

The technician was fantastic . Whatever they do in the office needs work. I had to call them more than once for my estimate after waiting a couple days which I approved through the email and still havent heard back. Thanks for making me feel like you want my business.

Great experience. Our toilet was leaking on the floor due to a broken flange. It was Saturday at 4pm and we couldn’t find any plumbers in the area that were still open until we called Lynch. I like that I received text alerts about when the plumber was headed here, got here quick and fixed the toilet quick for a reasonable cost. Would definitely call here again if we needed plumbing services.

They have probably spent at least 2 hours in total just answering questions prior to them ever coming to my home. I had a clogged drain line that I could not get unclogged, sink in basement was overflowing. I called lynch heating and plumbing, they were extremely helpful on the phone and within 2 1/2 hours they were at my house ready to resolve the problem. The individual that they sent out was very professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Great experience dealing with this company. They will definitely have my repeat business.

Be prepared to waste your money and get NOTHING for it. I call them on Friday to have my Furnace fixed, even give them what the problem is. I’m told there will be a travel charge because I live in Dewitt... I’m thinking $40-$50 nope $105 then I’m charged another $105 for the service tech to stare at my furnace for 15 minutes looking at the pilot light and then to sit in his truck for a half hour then tell my husband that what’s wrong with the furnace is the exact thing I tell them it was when I called that morning. So $217 later and still no heat. Told I was going to be notified on Monday how much the part would be.... NO CALL ON MONDAY. Call on Tuesday... still no information for me tell them to call me at my work number... they don’t they call my cellphone and leave a message call back and am told they aren’t able to get the part for my furnace anywhere. But they’d be happy to give me a quote on a new furnace. Yeah I’m really going to replace a furnace for 2 parts that are $117, that my 17 year old son found on the Internet that are the exact part numbers of the parts that needed replaced. TOTAL RIP OFF COMPANY!! CALL ANYONE ELSE YOU’LL SAVE YOURSELF ALOT OF MONEY AND BS!!! If I could give less than 1/2 a star I would.OWNER RESPONSE REBUTTAL: Very old furnace that works GREAT when the Pressure Switch is working. Which has been replaced once before and lasted YEARS...which is how my 17 year old son was able to order the part with the numbers from the switches currently in the furnace. So YES I would certainly choose to use aftermarket parts that cost $117 for the 2 Pressure Switches than over $3000 for a “NEW” furnace that if any indicator by today’s market standards NEVER last longer than the older models of similar products. But again your out to rip people off so your response doesn’t surprise me, Because in NO WAY would I have had your company come even look at my furnace knowing you would charge $105 just to drive the 20 minutes it takes to get to Dewitt(because the person answering your phone NEVER told me any price)from Davenport on top of the Service Charge Fee... I would’ve called another company. I’m sorry my co-worker even suggested your company. I should’ve just looked in the Phonebook for a company other than yours.

Out ancient furnace died Tuesday night. They offered to send a technician right over. We decided to wait for morning. He came out bright and early, and got right to work. All of the technicians that helped on the job were polite and respectful. My furnace ended up needing replaced, and they had competitive pricing, and financing available with tons of payment options. Got the old furnace out and new furnace installed quicky without a hassle. I will recommend to anyone I meet who needs furnace work done!

This past winter I had numerous pipes freeze in my home so I reached out to Lynch Heating&Plumbing. I not only found that their services are affordable but the gentleman assigned to my job was absolutely amazing. Eli Cole was very knowledgeable and respectful. He told me first what the problem was and what would be done before he started the work. He was very efficient and had taken his time doing the task and never rushed; even the few times he had to run to the hardware store were done quickly. I have had Eli come to my home on serveral occasions and each time but before he leaves after the job has been completed he always cleans up after himself(a broom is part of his tool bag). Ive had nothing but a positive experience with Lynch Heating&Plumbing and Eli that I have called for their help again with my most recent plumbing issue. These guys were great! Called this morning because our air conditioning went out, they got us in today. They were fast and efficient. They did our house and checked the inlaws around the corner and had both done in less then an hour. Pricing was very reasonable. The service man was polite and explained everything. I highly recommend them!

This is the best heating and plumbing company in the QC area. My home was broken into and my thermostat was broken off of my wall during the burglary. It was a very cold outside I called them they were their in less then in a hour. It was after hours so I wasnt sure if I was going to be able to get someone at all. They gave me a temporary fix till the alarm company could send a tech out to fix alarm and thermostat.

Our furnace was not working at all. Lynch was able to make it out within 2 hours of the time I called and resolved the issue very quickly. The service technician was very professional and courteous. I will not hesitate to call Lynch the next time I have a heating issue.

I will never use another company again. Lynch cake out to give me a bid on my furnace after I had 2 other contractors tell me my furnace could not be repaired. They not only repaired my furnace but showed how I could get the most life out of it! Highly recommend these guys!

They did not get the job done, but did do an illegal wiring job. They also left a mess to clean up. Communication seems poor between their workers. I would not recommend.

Called for a plumbing problem. Tech supposed to be there noon, then noon to 2, then between 5 to 7. No communication at all except my calls to them. 24 hours later still called twice just to get an idea of cost.Only communication were 3 texts telling me the cost of the service call.Worked in property management for years, never had problems like this. Guess the job is too small.

Overall a pretty good experience. I was having an issue with my furnace where it would shut off after 10 minutes or so, so I chose Lynch heating & plumbing based on their reviews. Full review below:I was able to get a technician scheduled to check out my issue within a couple days, which was nice. The technician was 15-20 minutes late and had to borrow some of my tools to perform his diagnostics. After a bit, turns out I had a faulty circuit board that needed to be replaced. He wasnt really sure and was relying on someone else he spoke to over the phone on what the issue was. My unit was already over 20 years old, so I asked for quotes of both the quick repair and replace the whole unit.It took 2 days but I finally received quotes. Their front desk had called me and walked through them with me, which was helpful. Unfortunately, they were just flat prices and didnt break out the details within the quote, but we decided to replace our old unit with a new and efficient furnace.We contacted them bright and early the next Monday morning (10/21) but they didnt have any availability to spend a whole day to take out our old unit and install the new one until Nov. 5th. We were also placed on a waiting list in case someone else canceled and freed up another day.I called them on the 28th of October asking if there were any additional days and they informed me that they could come the next day. So, the next day they showed up on time, walked me through what they were going to do and spent roughly 5-6 hours taking out the old unit and installing the new one. I dont think they took any breaks at all - they were constantly working. When they were complete, the tech walked through everything he did, pointed out some other issues with my previous furnace, and was very helpful.Overall, it was pretty good. Wasnt the best initial impression, but they made up for it with the install. Also, there is a 5% service change with all credit card purchases over $500 which is very inconvenient.

Never thought I ever had to write a review...The technician knew what was going on and instead of telling us the problem and saying hey you need a new one temporarly fixed the problem for it to run into the same problem, then to have another person come out to charge another $400 to tell us we needed a new one. Thenn, for our troubles offered a discount for the new item that costed 40% more than a store bought one w installation (that was of course smaller), when we already wasted enough money for one sentence that the previous technician that came couldve told us. Some places are greedy and take advantage of others and I would say this company is a prime example (:give your money and time to a company that actually care, thanks. -1 star if i could

While I was out of town our heater went out. My wife,through the recommendation of a friend called Lynch. With out over stating it, in two hours my wife called me to inform me the job was done. So to Lynch and the employee who showed up, thanks for the piece of mind.

I have an older home, so the plumbing, like everything else in an older home usually costs a lot to repair.That was not the case with Lynch.They were very inexpensive, did an amazing job and the technician was professional and courteous.

Would not recommend this company to anyone. For starters they put us in for a tentative appointment that was never confirmed because my husband never heard back from them. The technician came on day that was tentative on their end not ours. My husband called to ask why they were at our house and rescheduled for different day. Plumber came today (Friday) and when he gave my husband the total he could not believe the amount and was livid. He said we were charged for Mondays service call that was never set by us. The plumber then called a lady in their office and she said she re-worked the bill. When she gave him new total, it was the same as the previous total, so she didnt rework anything. I was charged $181.37 for drive time, diagnostic, and thread tape to fix a seal that was 5 minutes of work.

When my furnace went out they were very quick about getting over here and looking at it to see what the problem was. They are amazing at troubleshooting issues and getting things done. They have a very friendly staff that will go out of their way to assist you and they get the job done right away. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs HVAC work done.

By far the best choice for heating and cooling installation and repair in the Quad city area. Licensed people who answer the phone 24 hours a day, commercial and residential services, wait until you get a bid from Lynch before you have any work done from anywhere else, you will thank me later.

We contacted Lynch plumbing to install a half bath in our unfinished basement. The bid seemed a little high, but they actually showed up, they showed up on time and its done and done right. We highly recommend them !Update 5.7.2020 Well, once again, we contacted Lynch Heating and Plumbing when we realized we had no hot water. Jamie came by that very afternoon and diagnosed the issue (my diagnosis was wrong). We decided to go ahead and replace the 16 year old water heater instead of trying to get parts and repair it. Jamie was back at 7:30 or so this morning, and the new heater showed up right after that. Its now 11:20 on Thursday morning, Jamie is gone, and were back up and going ! Same amazing service this time as its been every other time ! Thank you !!!

I called Lynch Heating and Plumbing when my shower broke. They were at my house within 30 mins of calling them. Tommy was very professional and did an amazing job, had my shower working right away. Since then I have used Lynch to completely redo my bathroom tub and surround and toilets, as well as they installed my windows. They do much more than just heating and plumbing. I would suggest contacting Lynch Heating and Plumbing before going anywhere else.

Sadly I have to change my review. After all the testing was done of my equipment my central air unit did not pass testing with Midamerican and did not qualify for the rebate that was promised. I also had an issue with my unit not even a month after installation and when I called, was told that someone would be out to repair the unit. No one showed and we had to have someone else come and fix the issue. We will be going with a different contractor for all of our other properties.

I could not recommend this company more. We are renters and our landlords said let us go 5 days without heat. Finally we decided to take matters into our own hands and call another company which was Lynch.Lynch was at our house in under 2 hours at 11pm and the Misho in the office assured us they would work things out with our rental company and that we did not have to worry about the bill, as their primary concern was we had heat that night! I felt like they really cared about us, and the tech that showed up was also very nice and proffesional! Thank you Lynch Heating and Plumbing and thank you Misho for caring!

Extremely fast response and good service, had a technician on site the day I called within 2 hours. Had A/c working in house for infant and 4yr old before it even got hot.

They where fast getting our furnace hooked up but when they said they would come back and hook up out pipes for our central up for no cost and than I call to find out why they havent showed up at my house they said theit person was in the wrong well they should try and make it right. I have four kids and it is not my fault the electrican didnt know what he was talking about. I am not happy with the service. they could have atleast called me.
