Bleach dripped and ran down all over 2/3 of chair, unprofessional atmosphere lots of drama, Bleached my hair wrong color and had to go back.Horrible customer service, I wonder about the code of ethics and licensure for such poor customer service. Owner seemed unapologetic.If they remedy this problem of unprofessional treatment its a fantastic salon.

Everyone there is very nice and friendly. I truly feel pampered every time I go there. Carina is AMAZING! My hair looks beautiful every time I leave there. My color always looks stunning and she cuts it perfectly! She spends so much time making sure she gets everything perfect. I spent a very long time trying to find a stylist in CT that could work with my hair and had many bad experiences until I started seeing Carina! Its a little more expensive than I have paid elsewhere, but 100% worth every penny!!!

I gotta say, I can be pretty picky, but this place was amazing. I decided to do a last minute spa/mental health day, at first I was just going to do a facial. Then I added a pedicure and decided to get my hair done as well. The staff was amazing. The only thing I wish I did was request a spa pedicure when I was booking, but that was my fault for not asking, one thing I absolutely loved was they told me everything they were using on me, but not once did I feel like it was a sales pitch or they were trying to get me to buy their products,, no one was pushy or rude, and it overall was a very nice relaxing experience

Nina at DPZ was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable and she made my hair look great. The salon was clean and the wait was non-existent. I love that they give to charities with cut-a-thons too!

I have been coming to this salon for years and can say everyone from the front desk to all stylists are exceptional, professional, courteous and always accommodating. I especially like the way they have laid out the stations during the pandemic and reduced the number of clients/staff in the salon which makes me feel safe. What is the first thing you notice when you walk through a salon? The front desk staff. Thank you for standing out above the rest and greeting us with a smile. This gesture may seem small but in the past I have left salons because of their unfriendly staff so keep doing what your doing!

I have been going to DPZ since I was little, and Dawn has been cutting my moms hair for over 30 years. I am a natural redhead so my mom is very protective of where I get my hair cut. When I asked her for highlights she was hesitant but she agreed only if Dawn did it, and it turned out amazing! She doesn’t trust anyone else with our hair.

They are all fantastic. It is such a friendly place with a team of stylists and professionals who all possess a diverse set of skills and talents. Ive been going for years for a reason...they do a phenomenal job and I feel great about my experience every time I leave. Im a guy that used to go to a barber for years...not anymore. I would encourage any guy to give it a shot and you will see a major difference; it simply cant compare. Ask for Laura, she is a master stylist and just a sweetheart. She is a so great. you wont be disappointed.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Maid-of-Honor here, with the rest of the bridal party, and everyone felt cared for and so happy with their hairstyles. The studio is clean, comfortable, and chic, and every stylist was knowledgeable, friendly, and highly skilled. Would absolutely recommend.

Rachel did a phenomenal job with my hair for my wedding. She totally knew how to handle my long, curly, and crazy hair! I showed her two picture ideas I had, she morphed the two of them together and it was perfect! The style held up the entire night, even through windy pictures outside. All of the staff was so kind and professional at DPZ. Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing time working with Laoreta! She did prom hair and makeup for me, and I could not be any more thrilled or satisfied. She did this intricate fishtail bun on me and I am in love. I can’t believe these luscious lashes I am wearing right now and the attention to detail today. I can say that the 2 hr 45 min period was well worth it! I first went to Dawns after receiving terrible highlights at another salon and Carmelo was able to return my hair to its natural color without skipping a beat. Hes been my regular stylist since then - the first time Ive trusted someone enough to make return appointments. In the last 6 months Ive let him do lowlights, highlights, full color and chop 7 inches off in one swoop and Ive never been disappointed. On Saturday we decided to dye my hair darker than its ever been and I cannot tell you how many compliments Ive received on the cut and color since then. I even had a stranger stop me in the mall to tell me how much she loved it. Im always happy with Carmelo and the staff at DPZ!

Poor service. I would never go there again for my makeup. I told the make up artist exactly what I wanted and showed her three options. She did not listen. She had one eye darker than the other and all of my wedding pictures can prove that. I am very dissatisfied. If you want nice make up go elsewhere.

The staff is wonderful and accommodating, the place is absolutely beautiful and charming - very well appointed and clean - and the prices are comparable to other day spas in the area. I received a massage from Courtney. We discussed my expectations/what I wanted beforehand, she was nice, professional and made me feel comfortable. The massage was fantastic and I couldnt have been happier. Customer service is paramount to me and the staff has it in spades here. Every person I dealt with was friendly, warm and accommodating. It seems like the employees and owners take a lot of pride in their work and this business, as I saw many happy customers being very well taken care of by the staff they were with. Ive been to other comparable day spas in the area and this one is by far the best. If youre looking for an upscale mani, pedi, massage, facial, hair, etc in a beautifully relaxing (and clean) place with a friendly, caring and accommodating staff, definitely book an appointment here.

I was a part of a bridal party that went to Dawns for hair/make-up; although the work the girls did was wonderful and the prices reasonable what happened when we went to pay was horrifying. One of the girls in our party had to cancel her appointment last minute (her 3 y.o. was ill) and she did not attend her hair/make-up session; when the bride was paying her bill they tried to charge her for the girl that cancelled her appointment!! (after the group of us had already spent close to $1000) - Needless to say she was more than upset and after some words they decided to drop the charge but I could not believe they did this to her on her wedding day! In their defense they did drop the charge but brides beware of that contract and girls that cancel because these people have no mercy.

DPZ is more than a place to go and have your hair done. As soon as you walk through the door, you join the serene yet energetic world created by a wonderful woman. As a mom of 2 active boys, it is a nice change not having to attend to the needs of them, but having my needs (a little piece, quiet and adult conversation) attended to. Even for a cut and color, it is a whole body experience and I always feel much more relaxed and ready to face my day when Im done. Carmelo always hits the nail on the head. I love that he is honest about what is good for me. Dawn has not only created a comfortable space where everyone smiles and makes you feel welcome, but her undying charity and generosity, which includes all those that work with her, speaks to the heart of who this woman really is. DPZ is successful because of Dawn and her great team.

My first time going to this hair salon and last one. I went to get a color for my hair, I showed the hair dresser how I wanted it to look; I went to get my entire hair one color, I come out with streaks of my original hair color and I was not happy at all. The girl did basically what she wanted and did not care about what I had told her. On top of that, its pricy.... I would not mind if I actually ended up with what I wanted my hair to look like. Im never going back to this place again...the worst. (cuts are $60 ARE YOU KIDDING ME! and you cant get a cut alone it has to come with a blow dry....what if I dont want my hair blow dried?)

Unfriendly, curt staff. High prices. Not for me.

My wife tried them since we just moved to the area. Poor choice! The reviews are mostly around the same dates and from people that never reviewed anything else (they are FAKE). Her touchup highlights were totally wrong (too wide, wrong color). She needed to get this done quickly as she was going to leave the following day for California and now she has funny looking hair... the owner did not call me back as promised. Not a reputable place and poor quality work.

Each and every staff member is professional, knowledgeable and friendly! I always have a positive experience whether it is getting my hair or nails done or having a facial or a massage! My mom too is now hooked on going there and she is even pickier than me!vThe atmosphere is low-keyed and welcoming. I have been going there for well over a year and can say that I never walk out disappointed and am always treated respectfully.
