First Choice dental is the perfect name for this place. Friendly & effective staff, very clean environment, Dr Coleman was very helpful with referrals and questions, and is exceptionally personable and informative which eased a lot of anxiety. Covid-19 regulations followed and they accept many types of insurance including state. Make First Choice your first choice & you wont regret it. I wish I came here before I went to some of the other Husky-accepting places in Danbury.

I have been looking for way too long to find a dentist like Dr Scott. He is hands down the best dentist I have had in 30 years. Honest, trustworthy and highly professional are the best words I can use to describe First Choice Dental Services. Thank you so much for all that you do and I only wish I could give you 10 stars.

When it comes to going to the dentist I get very anxious and just completely avoid it at all costs. I finally had no choice but to go and upon reading reviews about Dr Coleman I decided to swallow my pride and make the call. I am SO glad I did. Immediately I felt at ease when I arrived and Dr Coleman listened and explained everything. I’m pretty sure he worked into his lunch break to ensure I was taken care of. We’ve made a plan moving forward to fix additional issues and I’m happy to say I’m excited to go back.

I have severe dental anxiety and I REALLY hate going to the dentist. Its emotionally a struggle for me just to call and make an appointment. But Im pregnant and I was worried about an issue with my dental health which can be a big deal during pregnancy, so I searched for a highly rated dentist in the area that took my insurance and found First Choice. They werent in office when I called, but Dr. Colman called me back himself that night after hearing my message.When I went in for my appointment this morning, everyone was extremely nice. Dr. Colman was funny and laidback, which helped me to not be as anxious. He explained things clearly and made me feel at ease.I definitely recommend this dentist!

Great Dentist and staff. After going to countless places in the Danbury area I found my self at home here. I highly recommend DDS, highly experienced very professional and take pride in his work!!

Dr Coleman discharged me as a patient (without informing me) because we had a disagreement, he wanted to fix my teeth, when I tried to explain to him that my teeth were beyond repair and needed to be pulled and a full set of dentures were needed. He wouldnt listen and told me that I am absolutely wrong, he made me feel stupid and insecure. Also I am missing multiple teeth. I can not chew my food I can not smile without looking like a freak and on top of all that I am in constant pain. I believe he just wanted to milk my insurance for every penny. He knew I would need many surgeries. And it seemed like he didnt care that putting me through all that, it would be very painful and after all the work is done, I still wouldnt be able to chew my food properly and still wouldnt feel comfortable enough to smile. I am missing most of my front teeth.I know whats best for me and my mouth. I just wish he would of listened and understand what I wanted and needed. I recommend (if anyone reads this) not to see Dr Coleman, and to find a dentist that will actually get to know you, know what you want and actually needs to be done.

Dr. Scott Colman has been my dentist for 20 years. He is very gentle and goes above and beyond to take excellent care of his patients. Before meeting him, for an extraction no less, I was terrified of going for a dental visit. Now I look forward to seeing him and his dental hygienist Debbie. No pain, no fuss. You would be hard pressed to find a better dentist.

Dr. Coleman and Vanessa were amazing!!! They gave me my smile back!!! I can not thank them enough and or even think of going to a different Dentist!

This was my first time seeing Dr. Colman. I was with my son, and it was his first time there as well. I have to say that it was a great experience, considering we were going to the dentist! The office was spotless, and the whole staff was beyond friendly, and accomodating. Dr. Colman explained everything that he was doing, showed me everything that pertained to me, and went over all of my options. I feel more than confident having him as my dentist. More importantly, I trust him as my sons dentist as well. I wish I could remember the names of the wonderful women that worked there, I apologise, but everyone is really nice. They even let me pick something from, The Treasure Chest after my visit!

Dr.Coleman is an amazing person with a great sense of humor, cares for his patient because he makes sure you are feeling comfortable at all times and makes sure to answer all your questions as honest as he can. 🤗

I recently moved to Danbury and have been looking for a new dentist. I love my old dental practice in Stamford and have been there for years. The only problem is I dont have the time to get there. This was my first experience with Dr. Coleman. He was very knowledgeable, listened openly to what my needs were, took a conservative approach and didnt try to sell me anything I didnt need. I left with a clean set of teeth and the peace of mind that when I go back next year for my yearly check up I can trust Dr. Colman will care for my teeth with my best interest in mind. Very happy I gave them a try!

Excellent, courteous and polite staff. Dr Coleman performed a root canal on me. Top notch professional with 38 years experience. Explained the procedure and made sure I was ok throughout . He fit me in the schedule right away, knowing I was in pain, and the price was much more affordable than any of the other dentists that I searched. Highly reccomend to anyone in search of a regular dentist.

My experience was great and anyone who knows me knows i am usually terrified of any dental office. Kate did a great job with my cleaning and is my favorite dental hygienist to date.

This dentist Dr Coleman is a fraud he like to over charge people dont ever go to this doctor he even charge me for tooth clean up so be careful and watch your bill,he even does work without your concert
