Never again...staff completely ignored us...finally one gentleman took my husbands info and just had us wait. No one came out to finish processing anything. I went inside to get someone just to wind up with a dirty elantra with a puddle in the front smh
Tom was an absolute pleasure to work with. My original rental car had a strong smoke smell. I called him up and within an hour I had a brand new rental car no questions asked. I have used Enterprise many times in the past, but was terribly disappointed with my experience this time. We were given a rental car that had obviously been in an accident prior to our rental because warning lights came on, and the tires vibrated whenever we drove on the highway.When I returned the car I explained the problem to our sales rep, who was friendly enough and was I was promised a call back by his manager. I am still waiting for that call back.For a corporation that boasts customer service as their focus, I did not get any service I would recommend to anyone.I will not be using this location again.
Tommy Bates and Darren Gomez took care of me when I was most in need. I am a first Responder and Military. I was told a Vehicle wouldnt be available due to something far beyond their Control. This rendered me unable to serve my community. 45 minutes before closing, they got me something. Truly two assets to this company.
I was blown away by the outstanding service I received.
Very expensive and they have you wait outside in the pouring rain without any sort of a tent or anything. The wait times are long for pickup, but drop off is quick and easy. I still gave 4 stars because the staff is nice and the cars are clean.
The car was a loaner through the dealership. They told us they were washing the car and would be down in 10 minutes to pick me up. 1/2 hour later still no car. They then told dealership they were pulling out of their parking lot. 20 minutes later still no-show. The dealership drove me to their shop (2 minutes down the road) and they didnt even have a car being washed. They gave me a car that was filthy and could barely see out of the back window. When I questioned what was going on, I was told they only had one hose to wash cars. They were rude and obviously didnt care what they were giving out to customers. Maybe it was a bad day but its never a good idea to lie to a customer. Own up to it. I could have made other arrangements.
Huge Hidden Fees - Do NOT rent here!I booked a reservation for a 9:30am pick up on Saturday morning. The up front cost of the trip was $30 for insurance, and the whole trip was ~$200 fully priced out for my driver details online. I’ve rented from multiple places in the area for similar trips. At the pickup time, they did not have my car and told me to come back in 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, the car arrived and I was told that the total cost was now ~$340 with additional taxes and fees. They “didn’t know why” the price online was so different - that’s the best explanation they could give. Do NOT rent from here unless you want to pay upwards of 60-70% MORE than you had booked online. Awful experience, I will never rent from here again.
I do not think my first issue is the fault of the worker, but the company policy. We booked an SUV through the Danbury, CT (Federal Rd.) location, via Costco. The price quoted to us was around $468. We were under the impression that a suitable car would be given to us; otherwise why would our order go through if they did not have the type of car we booked?When we got there, we had to wait outside in the cold snow, despite there being ample space in the indoor office (yeah i get it Corona...). Anyway, when we met with a rep. she informed us that they might not have any SUVs (which we were promised through the Costco booking). However, conveniently, a 2021 Chevy Equinox was parked right out front of the office for us to see. Of course, we asked if we could have that one, to which she relied it was an upgrade. After we protested that there should have been a car for us, pursuant to our booking agreement, she said we could have it but could not let it off the lot for less than it is worth or something like that. She had to go to the manager, while we waited about 10 minutes in the cold. In the end, we got the car for $400, which although it was less than the $468 price we were quoted, it created vast confusion with us as to how they arrived at that figure. It made us feel like a scam was coming. I do not believe the fact we got a discount changes the fact that we were given a classic run-around. Again, I do not think it was the workers fault, she was just following orders from management, who I place the blame on. I must also inform you that the car reeked of smoke from the previous renter(s), but we were so worn out by the rental process we took it.When I returned the car, I was rudely greeted by the attendant. To be clear it was NOT the same girl who checked us out in the beginning. I had until 12:30 p.m to return the car. I arrived at the location around 11:00 a.m. and was waiting in the parking lot for my father to pick me up. The attendant came up to me, without asking who I was, and said something along the lines of, Can I help you; I NEED to take this car now. I told him, Well, actually I am still renting this car and technically have it until 12:30. I still have my luggage in the car and am waiting for my father who will be here in a few minutes. I do no want to leave my belongings on the ground. He backed off, but I felt like I was treated like I was a robber, not a renter. After I turned the car in officially, I noticed that they were giving it to another renter right on the spot. That tells me this Enterprise location was writing checks its stock could not cash, as I should be under no compulsion to return a rental car earlier than agreed to just because they erroneously booked it to someone else too soon.After these experiences, I will be much more likely choose another rental company over Enterprise, if possible.

Horrible. Car was filthy and smelled of smoke. I came hone and had to clean the entire car and spray it. Even after that I couldn’t rid of the smell. Finally after 3 days it became tolerable.My kids literally got sick from driving in the car. I told the store, spoke to a John who was going to “do something for me@ and not heard back. Wouldn’t rent from that branch again.
Let me tell you my ordeal with Enterprise on federal RD in Danbury. I rented a car and returned it without a scratch after hours using the lockbox. The next day I got a voicemail from the leasing agent telling me that the car was damaged. I called them back after about an hour to ask them what had happened. They explained that the front bumper was damaged. I told them that when I returned the car it was fine. I then asked them to see the damages on the car. They explained that they couldn’t wait for me to take a look at the car because they have to send it to the garage for repairs. I argued that I deserved to see the damages and that I would be going to the rental office immediately. By the time I got to the office, they had put out a claim for damages to my insurance and debited my account for the $500 deductible.I got to enterprise an hour later and a different leasing agent walked out to tell me that it’s all good: the car is not damaged and they will reverse the money on my account soon.No apologies or show of contrition for the stress they put me throughThe $500 were credited on my account after 5 days.I have been renting with enterprise for years and this is the first time I have an issue with them. The agent I rented from saw me later on and she said that I should have bought the insurance they offer to avoid that kind of ordeal and walked away.
I was pleased with the service at Enterprise. I rented a car and asked for a compact. As they had no compacts available I was given a smaller car, a Sentra. I was happy with the car. A woman came out of the office to speak with me when I first rented the car. As I havent rented a car in quite a while I was surprised by the changes. During the time while I had the rented car I was able to call their office and my questions were answered. I was able to turn in the rented car at the car dealership where I had made arrangements to get car to purchase. I had had a car accident with my own car prior to renting from Enterprise. A gentleman from Enterprise came and picked up the car. They were located close to each other. It was an uncomplicated process! I would recommend Enterprise!
I like enterprise but lucky for me there is a small local car rental place nearby called Action car rental. Its in Danbury on Newtown rd. There prices are WAY more cheaper and the cars are great. Also since there small place. Customer service is outstanding. You truly feel like ur there friend
Nice enough staff but poor listeners.Had to wipe all the dirt off the exterior of car upon pick to determine if there were any dings/dents. I requested the car be washed before I returned to retrieve it later that evening.It never happened. Car never left the spot it was left in. And, how would they complete this work if I had the keys? Why assure me otherwise?Even better, how about handing over a clean vehicle to begin with?
I was going through some shenanigans with my lemon of a car, and the whole enterprise team worked with my insurance and got me a rental for 10 days. The rep who I worked with (I think his name is Mr Gomez) was so friendly and communicated everything with me (even though I was a bit of a emotional mess). Really happy with the service I received and how nice everyone was.
Rented a car because mine is in the shop and the drive shaft got stuck on drive on a Saturday night. I teach a class on sundays so I needed to borrow a neighbors to make it and enterprise couldn’t help me until Monday unless I drove 2 hours to an airport. Just awful.
We rented a great vehicle and thanks to enterprise for making car rentals easy with no haggle. We had a very safe trip and the vehicle was immaculate!

Enterprise will forever be my go to. I dropped my car at the shop and there waiting for me was a representative from enterprise with a new loaner car and I was done within 2 minutes. Every representative I spoke to on the phone were kind and provided excellent service.
Even with a long line and being extremely busy when I went for pick up on a Sunday all employees were polite and smiling and taking their time answering questions. As much as no one likes to wait in a line, it was nice to see the employees remain calm and cool. It made me feel satisfied to know they took their time with each customer and genuinely cared. Good service is worth waiting for!
I am renting cars it seems like every other week and the staff go above and beyond every time Im there. I would say Reed has been helpful pretty much on every occasion taking care of my request and giving me a great deal every time. Im always contacted promptly regarding my vehicle and any questions or concerns I have get resolved instantly.
I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to check-in and check-out the vehicle I had rented. Since the process is driven electronically it made it a very pleasing experience.
I experienced two negative issues with my recent rental:1. Even though I had reserved a full size sedan a week before the start of my rental, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle a compact sedan was the only car available.2. All four tires were over inflated by 10 psi, resulting in an uncomfortable and potentially dangerous condition.
Needed a car while my car was in for repairs and my insurance company sent me to the Enterprise in Danbury. Mike put the wrong name on the contract and said it couldn’t be changed. He added me and said there would be no extra charge. Well I did get charged $240 extra! The manager did refund the charges, but the whole process was sloppy up until my interaction with Darren. The day I returned my car, the person helping was wearying a very dirty disposable face mask.
I am a long standing customer. My experience with the SUV was great!My issue came with the change of hours (by Enterprise) of when the office (drop off) was open.Enterprise unilaterally charged me for an additional day (I returned vehicle on Sunday) . Previously (pre-covid) there were Sunday drop off hours - This decision seemed very unfair and will have me thinking twice about returning to rent from Enterprise

Car was dirty when picked up. Car was not on site upon my arrival and I had to wait for it to arrive. They took it upon themselves to put me down for a 9am pickup when I never said that. Vehicle was supposed to be returned at 1:00pm on day 3 of a 3 day rental. They charged me 2 hours in late fees when I brought it back at 3:00 - guess I had a 2 1/2 day rental
Absolutely awful experience. The guys at the Danbury branch always take excellent care of me and know me. Last Saturday, this young woman handled my rental and gave me a miserable experience and made me jump through hoops which made me an hour late for my appointment.I do business with Enterprise all the time, and this woman coldly (and I stress, COLDLY) made me find a paid bill of some sort in order to re-establish the trust Ive enjoyed with Enterprise for decades. I was using a debit card. The same one I used the week prior for a rental, and the same one I used for several rentals the previous year, and for several years before that. She coldly kept telling me I have to come up with a paid bill or I cant rent. What was very evident was her attitude. Ice cold.One of the guys kindly said I could use my phone bill on my phone. I had to call their support as I couldnt log in. Finally she looked at the phone bill and after an hour she approved the rental.Enterprise, the reason I have always used you for decades is because the young men there are polite, respectful, and ever-ready to help and make things as easy as possible. This is what I call professionalism.This woman seriously needs some customer relations training. And Enterprise needs to warn people that they need to provide copies of paid bills in order to rent from them if using debit. If, when they called to confirm, they had told me I needed this, I would have brought it with me and I wouldnt have been an hour late for where I had to be.I feel insulted, not trusted (given my perfect record with Enterprise), and very much disrespected. Its a shame that this experience has soured me on Enterprise. I have always spoken highly of the company and I have brought them thousands of dollars in new business by recommending them. If this woman had expressed some kind of empathy, I would not have written this review. But like I said... ICE.
The car got me to NC and back. When I went to pick it up on Federal Rd in Danbury CT it had not been cleaned. The outside was dirty and birdpoop was on driver side window. The inside floor was vacuumed but every cup holder and tray had sand in it. The dash board was dusty. Upon my complaint they hosed the outside and since they had no soap the car had white spots all over it. So much for their special care because of covid 19. I wiped all inside surfaces myself with Lysol wipes before starting on my trip. Very disappointed!
Awful customer service not sure what happened to them but the employees especially one named Sean or Shawn (however the spelling may be) is a lair when it comes to the simplest things such as going in a car to simply double check for an item. Instead he’ll yes you to death like the clown that he is and rent out the car 30 MINUTES AFTER YOU CALLED THEM ABOUT THE ITEM. Then when you or a loved one come into the store they try to hide and deflect you like you’re the plague They’d much rather run around like clowns instead of communicating to one another. Much like most mediocre business they stop caring about a customer once they grab your money so watch out and always ask questions.

Ive dealt with Reed multiple times now at this location. Yesterday being the most recent. Reed is quick, pleasant and beyond helpful. As someone who rents from Enterprise Nationwide, almost weekly, I work with many different associates, but Reed always stands out as an amazing asset to the company. Great job to this location!

Actually have to hand it to this particular enterprise dealer. Really decent stuff, big enough collection That actually pick what you want on most days. I’ve rented from this place a few times and they’re always really helpful and happy to help.
My only complaint is that they seemed to be a little short staffed on a Monday morning. The Asst. Manager was awesome though. He went over the bells and whistles of the vehicle quickly and I was on my way.
Unfortunately this is the worse service I have ever received at Enterprise. I have rented before always come away extremely pleased.This experience was not good. From the wait time, to being passed on to several reps. Experience was not optimal to say the least.
Enterprise was only suppose to charge me for one day of rental car. I dropped the key into the drop box and because they didnt return until the next day, they decided to charge me for an extra day.I have yet to hear back from them and its been one week. I would like this issue resolved.Other than this issue, the service was great.
Mike was also!! Due to not being fron there I was unaware that I made Reservation at the wrong one, for this one was closest to my apt. Yet, he still did amazing and got me a car ASAP. He even had my mom impressed by his work ethic and genuineness!!! Ill definitely recommend this location!!

Waited an hour for a car from these guys. They said they had one in the car wash and had me sitting around waiting. When I asked again what the deal was they said they had no cars on site. Seems like someone needs to get their story straight.
I picked up my rental on Sat Aug 1 2020 and as soon as I got home Approx 4 miles and had a flat. I could not go to function due to me having to but air and fix a flat in the tire. I had to do the air every 30 and decided to just call it a night...missed my event and all

I sat there waiting 3 hours for a car. I never got the car and had to leave. I made the reservation over 2 weeks in advance, they called me 2 days prior to confirm it and said that they would have a car for me, and they didn’t have a car for me and didn’t know when/if they would have a car for me after I sat there waiting for 3 hours. And, this is the second time this has happened to me.I called the corporate office to complain and they said they would have the regional manager call me back, but they never did. They clearly don’t care.I’ll never be using Enterprise Rent a Car again. They are unreliable and accept reservations that they can’t fill.
The car was a train wreck, could barley keep it on the road, drove the car 8 miles & brought it back in 12 hours!!! Still charged for the full day & insurance!!!

I needed something for two days while my car was in for some engine work. I went on line to make the reservation. When I got to the location,my car was ready to go. I took a clear, comfortable economy car. The people at the desk at pick up & return were very polite and friendly. Their hours are very convenient.

When I returned my car and was searching for a ride, they gave me a ride despite it being outside of their range. They called me the day after I picked up the car to see how everything was. Loved this locations customer service. A+ rating for that, as well as quick and made the process the most simple experience I have ever had. The vehicle I rented was super clean, efficient and higher quality for just a Standard class. The branch manager George was so accomodating and patient, if I couldve tipped him I would have! They also gave me a few discounts without me even asking!I will definitely use this place in the future for every car rental :)

My partner was taking our SUV out of town on a business trip and I had no transportation.I needed a rental within 24 hours. I wanted a mid-size Sedan for use around town, and the drive to and from work.I contacted Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The representative said there would be no problem and they had the solution for me. We worked on a plan for the next morning. The representative said the car would be ready for pick up when I needed it. I asked for an email with the estimate to be sent to my online address. He dd so.My ride was very late, and I was not able to make the appointment . Reed Carter was very helpful over the phone and held the car for another hour. I also spoke to Michelle Gauthier who was courteous and pleasant, once again holding the car for additional time.When I arrived, Reed was extremely professional and nice. He gave me an upgrade to a better vehicle. All went well for the next 3 days. The rental was better than I expected and handled very well. When time to turn in the vehicle, Michelle was there to greet me. She was friendly and had a caring personality. She adjusted the estimate, checked the car for anomalies, gave me the receipt, and asked if I needed a ride home.The staff at 49 Federal Rd Danbury, CT were outstanding and are examples of customer service at its very best! I will definitely use their services again…
Enterprise helped us when National Car wouldnt (even though the rental was through National). We had a flat after leaving LaGuardia. After putting the spare on, we were told to take it to Firestone so they could replace the tire. After four hours, Firestone said they couldnt do it without authorization from National (something they had previously received). After 8+ calls to National at LaGuardia (we were told to call them by roadside assistance) with no return call, we went to Enterprise. Reed, the manager, very kindly swapped out our car for us.

My experience with the Enterprise on Federal Rd has always been exceptional. This recent rental was no different! When I arrived there was a complication w/ the reservation, and in the end it was resolved, and worked out in my favor (as always).The personnel is always professional, courteous and personable.The location is less then half-mile from my work, and they are always willing to pick me up or drop me off (depending on if I am picking up, or dropping off).Another GREAT Experience

The staff at this location are nice and friendly and go out of their way to help you the best that they can. They are quick to send someone to pick you up if need be and to take you home if needed. The wait time is never too long. Overall, my experience here is always good. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 is because I feel the quality of vehicles I rent from this location are hit or miss at times and I know its not the locations fault. My last rental was a Nissan Rogue which was terrible in windy conditions and wasnt all that great in snow to be AWD.

Rented a car in Danbury, CT. Staff as extremely friendly and helpful. In extended the rental on multiple occasions and they are always fast and professional.
When I first made a reservation with (Stacy.. I believe her name was) and I explained to her directly that there was a corporate code attached. She gave me the reservation without the state discount/liability even after she found the corporate code. I called back about 30 minutes late to make sure that my reservation was accurate in which it was not. Jeff amended my reservation so it reflected everything appropriately.Upon picking up the SUV and before my departure to my trip I noticed that the paperwork did not reflect properly the actual SUV that I received. The color and license plate were in accurate. I called Enterprise immediately in which they were not aware of this mistake, but corrected their database.One last thing is that before departing for my trip with a group I had to SCRUB down the car. It was absolutely disgusting and filthy. This was not the first car I rented where garbage was left behind and dirt and everything else was on the seats.

Vehicle was unwashed and dirty. Interior could use vacuuming. Smelly odor of cigarette and pet odor in upholstery. Had to leave windows and doors open to air out for hours in cold weather. It appears that the vehicle was just dropped off from use with another driver then given to me for use. Experience with rental vehicle was shockingly very good. It was a new Dodger Charger SXT. Presentation on delivery for rental vehicle could have been better. If this was a loaner and and no daily rental fees charged then I can’t complain. I have rented from this location multiple times and have only experience a few clean cars coming out from this place. Majority of staff in this location has been very pleasant to work with over all.

Always a pleasure getting a car from them, they are very quick in their service, respectful and explain everything there is to know.I especially love the drop off service, just put the keys in the box. And the next day you receive an email receipt explaining everything.
We use Enterprise whenever we need to rent a car. It is quick and convenient, they are all very polite and cortious. The only caveat we have is that the vehicle could of been cleaner, inside and out. Otherwise, we enjoy very much renting from Enterprise !

When I booked our car for a one-way trip from Danbury to the airport, I neglected to remember that we would have 6 suitcases with us together with 2 kids in car seats. Upon arrival to Enterprise and telling them this, they upgraded me to a bigger vehicle that would accommodate us and our luggage without a problem. It was a huge relief and their superb customer service is unbeatable. I will rent from them again without hesitation.

Quick and curtious service. Brand new vehicle with 100 miles on it! So new they didnt even get a chance to fill it up. The guy who checked me in gave me a gas credit, which was nice since I brought it back half full. Overall great experience.
Everyone was extremenly helpful and polite. There was a slight mixup with my reservation but the gentlemen went above and beyond to get me the best possible accommodation. They even went out of their way to help me get airport parking taken care of for the vehicle I was renting. I will definitely be coming back for future reservations.

Ive rented from enterprise many times before. Ive had ideal situations and not so ideal situations. The last time I rented from enterprise happened to be in the middle of a winter storm and I really had no plans to ever rent from them again. It was a horror show. I drive on the highway alot and because of the storm I needed to clean my windshield a lot. Well while on the highway, a day after renting the car, I was splashed with dirty muddy water. I tried to clean my windshield and realized there was no windshield wiper fluid in the car. I had to get off at the next exit and buy bottled water to use on the windshield in order to clean it so that I could see. I also realized that in that same car the seat did not move. Unfortunately for me when I got the car the seat was erect and I had to sit that way for the entire time I had the rental.Fast forward to just a few days ago and it was the polar opposite. I went with them again against my better judgement and out of convenience. The salesman was patient and kind. I could tell he emphasized with my situation. He even went above and beyond to try and help me as much as he could regarding getting my car fixed at the dealership. It was perfect. He did way more than what was expected. I kind of expected them to fall short but I literally had no issues from start to finish. I had the car for about three days and it was as smooth getting it as it was bringing it back. Im not sure of my salesmans name; however, Id like to say thank you for making this as easy as possible for me.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. Highly professional and made us feel special. I will definitely return there in the future.

I dont have positive enough accolades to describe the caliber of service I was given at the Danbury Enterprise agency. It was professional, courteous and efficient service by the two young salesmen I dealt with. One of them greeted me by name when I returned the loaner arranged by Honda of Danbury. without glancing at any paperwork to identify me. Such amenities leave a strong positive impression on customers over and above the actual service.
Great service. Got ride to and from home. Clean car. Pleasant customer service. Cant complain. I would easily rent from these folks again.
