This was my first visit here and they made a very good first impression. The employees were curious and very helpful. I needed to get some photos of a wrecked automobile that they were storing in their secured lot and an associate behind the counter offered to email me the ones he had already taken instead of me doing the work myself; it was about 95°tm outside that day too! I received more than I couldve asked for! Thanks Ken!

So far so good. All I did was get a estimate for the insurance company on fixing some minor repairs from a car accident I had. Ill give a review after they fix my car that will be more accurate but for now theyre very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

I was called a few days later with an update in the process, as well as given an estimated completion date. They even allowed me to come by and pick up something that I had accidentally left in my car after hours! We took my daughters vehicle to Kens after a deer had ran out and hit her. We arrived a little late in the afternoon at almost closing time but they did not mind. The gentleman that assisted us after we arrived was extremely helpful. He explained everything that would be happening from start to finish. I felt very comfortable leaving her vehicle with them. My experience with Kens Carstar North was undoubtedly the best experience that I have had with a paint and body shop. They scheduled the repair around my schedule, so that it was convenient for me. During the process, I received several phone calls updating me on the progress of my repair, and when I should expect to pick it up. Upon completion, I found my vehicle was repaired with great quality, with every attention to detail, and looked exactly the way it did when I purchased it. Kens Carstar is the best body shop in Dalton and surrounding areas. They keep in constant contact with you at each stage of the repair process to let you know how things are going with the repairs.

Great service and work. Very friendly and professional, gave updates on job and work was completed in a timely manner.

They told me I would need to leave my truck with them for a couple of hours to change out the drivers side door lock actuator and actually were done in about an hour and a half which was a pleasant surprise. I have never worked with a better body shop that kept me updated throughout the process. They dealt directly with the insurance company so I didnt have to do anything. They noticed some items that the insurance company left off the quote. They also went over my car and adjusted something that I wanted fix without any question. I was so happy with their work and professionalism that I ordered some parts to fix my other car. We will continue to use them when needed and recommend them for your auto body needs.

Had an oil change days before the wreck. When I got the car back a few days later the check engine light came on. I check the oil didn’t have a drop. As if they drained the plug so that way they get more business when my motor blew luckily I caught it that’s not ok!!!!!!! The passenger tire got hit and that’s all that needed fixed and the tire light came on the same day I got it back as well. And I can hear the tire knock every little bump I hit. I don’t recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews.

Ken’s Carstar failed on their commitment to effectively communicate when my car was completed. Additionally, they left used parts in my back seat and took underneath my hood. Furthermore, they replaced my wheel with a wheel from a wrecked vehicle which was not in good condition. The wheel had scratches and scuffs on it. They also held me car hostage until they collected every dime from my insurance. Unfortunately for me, tkens labor rates are extremely high according to my insurance adjuster and I had to pay the difference. I will never use Kens again. They manager was rude and was not empathetic to my issue in which I had to endure 31 days without my car due to a wreck that I did not cause. The manager was hateful and not helpful at all. At the end of the transaction he failed to explain everything they did to my car. He just wanted to get me off his property. They are horrible people and not friendly at all. I should have went with my gut and took my car to Babbs.

Couldn’t have asked for better. I feel like Ken’s CARSTAR went the extra mile on making sure I was satisfied. The repair was done super fast and looks brand new. This was my first time filing a claim, and I had made an insurance mistake. Brent with CARSTAR took the extra time to make sure it was fixed and submitted the right way. Before this incident I would not have cared who repaired my vehicle, but from now on, it will be Ken’s every time.

The guys at Kens were really professional and nice. The only problem I had was I dropped it off on a monday and they didnt start it til friday. The job originally was suppose to take a week and it was in there just counting business days 2 weeks.It just took way longer than it should have. Swerved to miss a deer and jumped a drainage ditch. I honestly thought my car was broken in half. Major damage front bumper, back bumper underneath was scratched up bad. 5000 dollars in damage. Took it to Ken’s Carstar north and Brent took very good care of me. Was very thorough in explaining everything. The estimated work time was 2 weeks. Brent got it finished for me in 6 days.
