The team that runs this particular LifeTime is outstanding. They always greet you with a smile, wish you a nice workout, and contribute to a very positive and energetic environment. There are a lot of great members at LifeTime as well, at all various points in their fitness journey. I love how diverse it is. There is a lot of positive support and camaraderie amongst the community, and some friendly competition. I love this gym, its my favorite in the area. My one recommendation would be for the water fountains to be cleaned. They are always very dirty and look like theyre never clean (had to dock a star for this).

I like this location, its smaller than the others but its a good place. Workers are really friendly, equipment works and place is clean. Cant give 5 stars until we go back to 24 hours though. I know this is a corporate decision, but at this point its a money grab on members still paying full price even though they close early. No longer has anything to do with Covid-19 (never did honestly) open back up or reduce costs.

I enjoy this gym each time I go. It has all the equipment you could possibly need for a thorough workout. It has lots of classes available throughout the week. The locker room and showers are clean and nice. There is a dry sauna, a steam room, and a good-sized pool. Towel service and many other things. Dont let the picky people with the low ratings fool you, this is a nice gym.

We pay way too much money to be ignored, redirected constantly, and for unknowledgeable staff....Update: Shannon personally reached out to me concerning my issue. She was apologetic and quickly made up for the less than productive previous interaction I had with previous staff. Since my initial review I have visited the club 2 times and I noticed a big, positive change in the energy of most of the staff members I encountered. I am proud of their ability to reset and provide the quality service I am accustomed to.... they were warm, energetic, and attentive. Thanks everyone @Lifetime, my experience with this club has shifted and I am grateful for that!

If you want a gym with exceptional child care this is NOT I REPEAT NOT the gym for you and your family. Love the gym but the child care is 0/10.. if you have very little ones I would not recommend, I can not workout in peace if my baby is there with the teens who run the childrens program! Nothing against them but they definitely lack patience when it comes to hyperactive toddlers and such! No personal encounters against my own kid but I did witness one child being SCREAMED at by the child care director in the pool for crying. Stop crying!!!! It was obvious the child was in distress and uncomfortable, I wish I knew who his parent was so I could find her and let her know. Theyre working with kids it should be a given that sometimes little ones have a harder time handling their emotions . Safe to say I never took Elyza there again and downgraded my membership. Other than that I like the amenities of the facility/ cleanliness and if you dont have kids who will be joining you you will have no problems!

Erica is always so welcoming at the front desk with her bright personality. Tricia has been so helpful in updating you personally, if there is a change in the club and goes the extra mile to make sure you are being take care of to the best of their abilities. I enjoy the club and know that I can take group classes and always enjoy the energy and the people around me! Love the music choices!Lacey is an amazing yoga instructor and has a powerful voice that keeps you in a state of allowing freedom within your body. Although the gym is high quality and beautiful, the staff member Victoria at the child care center (at this location in Addison) has proved to be very unprofessional and petty. Every interaction I have had with her she gave me attitude and would be rude. She was consistently rude for no apparent reason both to me and her coworkers. I thought maybe she was having a bad day or a bad week at first, but no it’s just who she is. If you are a parent who needs childcare even just sometimes while you workout, I would find somewhere else.Thank you Victoria for ruining this gym for me and my family.

I was forced to go online to get the information I needed. Also she tried to rush me through the forms that guest fill out. I had to tell her I was reading. Sales and desk staff and house keeping are all super friendly... However; the personal training staff could use a few trips to CHARM SCHOOL! The personal training staff are rude to anyone who is not being trained. They must think they own the gym! This attitude is no doubt encouraged by the corporate office. Its a nice gym but rude is rude! If you are looking for a place to loose that covid weight....find another place! Every Saturday morning the same trainer blocks half the squat racks to teach his class. POOR GYM ETIQUETTE! A trainer should know better and be respectful of the other members! Not this trainer his attitude is his class is the only class that matters and the rest of the people in the gym be damned! UNNACCEPTABLE! I really enjoy the majority of the community that works out here most are very friendly and respectful and it’s just an overall great gym. Good job lifetime crew!Only reason that it’s not a five is the heavy lifting equipment needs an update to hammerstrength and or new precore lines, something more robust for bodybuilding and powerlifting. Same for some of the cardio like steppers and seated bike equipment. But other than that for price it’s def a 5 !

Just to give an honest review the staff on the front desk is always friendly and happy to help BUT....1. absolutely ridiculous cancellation policy. You have to bring the actual paper to the front desk 30 days prior to the cancellation date. You cannot do this online, neither in app nor by customer service chat.2. They have borderline fraudulent practices for charging members for lifetime fitness magazines. After a year of membership they just started to charge 2$ per month for the magazine I never subscribed in the first place. After asking how did this happened they just shrugged. Happened to other members also. Thing is you might never actually realise that since the amount is too small considering what you pay month to month.3. No real changes in the gym policies for COVID-19. They just don’t care.

This company is as crooked as they come. I had a membership with them through my former employer, but once I changed jobs I stopped going there. Obviously, I assumed my former employer would stop paying the monthly membership and they would close out the account. This is always how it has worked for me in the past with other gyms, and I’ve never had a problem. Now nine months later, Lifetime Fitness is coming after me for a past due balance. It turns out my former employer just last month stopped paying for my membership, but Lifetime would not let them close my account. They would not let me cancel my membership over the phone either, so I came into their Carrollton location a few hours after receiving their email to officially close my account and clear up the confusion about the balance. Not only could they not have cared less about the mix up, but they told me I had to give a 30 day notice for my membership cancellation, which means I will also be responsible for April’s payment as well! Even though they just got 9 months of membership dues from my old employer for free, they now want to charge me for another 2 months!! So now, I can pay them close to $200 or, they will sell my account to a collections company which will damage my credit. How is this not extortion?? Lifetime doesn’t care who they hurt, if they can get a couple extra $$ in return.

More luxurious, cleaner, and more expensive ($80/mo) than other nearby gyms. Smaller than other Life Time locations. Has fewer amenities, no outdoor pool, no tennis, smaller locker rooms. Has good child care and kids activities. Somewhat crowded. Yoga here has experienced instructors. The group exercise studio is small and gets packed. (Its hard to forget that Fitness Connection across the street has a huge exercise studio, more group classes at more convenient times, and costs $10/mo.) This Life Time location isnt worth the price unless you have little kids. This area has so many other gyms and exercise studios that Life Time isnt the obvious choice. Keep in mind their cafe and salon are open to the public, so you can come in and check the place out.

My kids even tell me to keep working out when I go to pick them up. (At other gyms, they would cry, and I would have to stop working out to get them.)Their swim program for kids is also very nice. Great coaches that are sweet and encouraging. I was surprised a pool fit in the building. It doesnt have a water slide like bigger gyms nor outside pool. The gym is very clean. One time we had a problem with something, and they sent someone immediately to look at it.

If there was a lesser star than 1, I would have preferred that. So, I enrolled my daughter in their swim team and make complete payments. The next day, my nanny takes her there and we are told that while she swims (the nanny)cannot drop off my 2 year old to their child care. The 2 year old cannot play indoors and of course cannot stay with nanny in the swim area. It was against the policy since a legal guardian has to drop off the kid. We understood and decide to withdraw our membership on the third day ( we signed the contract that a full refund of the payment would be made with in 7 days). I do have the signed document with me.After a month of calls, not a single penny is refunded and the next payment is deducted. I have been on long calls with different people including the manager Mr. Macias who sees no problem why money should get back on my card but still my entire money has not been refunded. I have for the first time encountered this in my life where a big facility like this has been so careless and non respondent to the customer calls and repeated voice messages. A total of 170 PLUS DOLLARS (WHEN I HAVE NOT USED THE FACILITY FOR A SINGLE DAY) WAS CHARGED TO MY CARD. Only a fraction has been refunded and again my calls have continued but no outcome. I left voice messages and never ever got a single call returned.Frustrating and sad.

So, I’m giving the 1 star because it’s over priced and because of the situation that I have going on with them right now.I cancelled my membership on 30 August by going in to the gym. Giving my written notice to the attendant. On the 29 or 30 of September, someone calls me to confirm that I cancelled. On or around the 3rd or 4th of October they still drafted my account.I called and left a message for someone to call me on the same day that I discovered the draft. Today is 6 October and no one has returned my called.I call again and speak with someone. She’s going to get with the person that called to confirm that I was canceling and states that she’ll keep me posted and after today she’ll be out until Tuesday.Just totally left hanging because I don’t feel confident that anyone will call me back to let me know that they’re putting my money back.Businesses like this make me hesitant to allow my account to be automatically drafted.

The trainers are very professional and approachable. Our kids love the childrens center, where they will watch them for 2-3 hours (they even have date nights for parents). Ive been a customer at this location for almost a decade. Even though Id been pleased with their service and amenities, their customer service has been in a steep decline in the last couple of years, from the front desk woman having a terrible attitude, the showers being shut down earlier, to the saunas constantly under repair. For some reason, management seems uninterested in taking customers concerns seriously and shows no intention to properly address their employees about issues. Im not sure if this poor attitude towards customers comes from the interpersonal characteristics of the individuals working there or if it is a company-wide philosophy that seems to place little to no value to customer service.Considering how pricey their membership is and how much more affordable other gyms surrounding this club are, youd think they care about maintaining their customer base, but thats not the case for lifetime fitness, as they seem very comfortable losing customers. Its almost as if the thought they are doing you a favor by your having a membership with them... terrible. Ill be cancelling my membership.

I just moved to this area, and I decided to go for a run and seen this gym Lifetime. So I walked in asked about the memberships, a sales lady came up to me gave me a tour, and which I loved!! But then it all flipped, she took me to her desk and before she pulled up prices on the different memberships,, she assumed I wouldnt be able to afford it!!! Now this I was applaud at,, and very frustrated that I immediately left the gym!!!! How dare a sales person make that judgment!!!! I will be contacting Management/Corporate!!!

Its probably the worst one.. Low price equals low amenities and lower(or interesting) clientele...feels like a wannabe Golds/LA Finess but with towels You get what you pay for.. Pay a little more and get much better...Just stick to the ones in Plano, Flower Mound, Mansfield. And Allen... This is a trashy gym with trashy people in it.. The management is actually pretty cool though! the 2nd star is for the management/staff

The equipment is great! Needless to say, they charged us $88 to join on June 29 (even though he said no enrollment fee).... But then auto debited $100 for our July fee on July 1. Plus all they did was try to get us to spend hundreds of dollars on testing, training, spa, and nutritionist. Canceling as we speak!

They post a sign saying the steam room will be closed for cleaning from 2am to 3am and from 2pm to 3pm; they usually close it from 12am to 4am (not sure about the afternoon). The sauna heaters work sporadically and the door wont stay shut; regular users have learned to hold it shut with towels. The cafeteria is great (Ive heard its overpriced, but I like it) if its open, but thats a bit rare. All that criticism is cancelled out by their amazing complimentary yoga sessions.
