Hidden gem tucked away in Dallas. Learned about this place through Fever, an app for unique experiences. We came here for the candlelight experience and thoroughly enjoyed listening to a beautiful string quartet in an ambient setting. The place was clean, offered options for BYOB, and held people to respect social distancing spacing. The staff were kind and respectful and the event was just spectacular. I bet this place is beautiful when decorated for a wedding.

Working with the staff was such a joy for us @mritevents and the venue is beautiful. We provided the Cafe Lights and Backdrop downstairs and the Dancefloor and Glow Table Lighting on the Rooftop.

We had a wonderful time listening to Vivaldi and enjoying the Dallas skyline. The string quartet was fabulous. Very nice facility, friendly and professional staff, and just a wonderful place to have a nice event like this.

The space was very nice, I would hold an event there. However, the elevator was out of order. They should make sure that is up and running for people having a hard time with the stairs.

Such a beautiful and unique venue space, perfectly located in the heart of Deep Ellum. The three different floors break up the event spaces for a multitude of uses and on the deck you have a wonderful skyline view of downtown Dallas. The staff is wonderful, responsive, helpful and friendly. This venue is turnkey, I highly recommend it!

Unfortunately, proximity to the huge billboard blocking the view, noise from the highway and sirens often blaring is very distracting when you are trying to listen to a classical quartet.

From the minute we stepped into this venue to the minute the wedding was all said and done, we had nothing but a POSITIVE experience. Lisa was amazing to work with and so responsive. They were so flexible and willing to meet us at any hour to look at the venue. I would HIGHLY recommend this place for your wedding events. It just is beautiful!

This venue is INCREDIBLE! This was my first time in TX and my boyfriend and I came for the Anjunadeep event. We had a BLAST! The production is on point and the view from the top is absolutely unbeatable. The sound system is really good and the food is amazing. Will definitely be coming back for another show.

I am obsessed with this venue and have been since we laid eyes on it in the fall of last year while we looked for our perfect wedding spot. The views are incredible and they offer a wonderful layout to provide you with an array of indoor & outdoor set up options. Jill was so helpful for our planning, rehearsal, and day of. She set up decorations flawlessly and was always available when needed. I wish we could get married again and do it all over here! Highly recommend.

Attended a wedding here this past weekend and the venue was really fun! There was a cocktail hour on the top floor (which overlooks the outdoor deck), the ceremony was on the outside deck, and the reception was on the first floor. The whole building has a very industrial feel to it and the first floor is very spacious. The DJ and dance floor were in the middle of room and the bar and buffet were in the corners... we had plenty of room and didnt feel crowded at all!

The event was amazing! Working with the Staff at 2616 Commerce was easy and a pleasant experience. They understood what we wanted for décor and added their magic to make the venue beautiful. Everything at 2616 Commerce Event Center was perfect! I was in charge of putting together a corporate event, and Lisa and her staff were extremely helpful. They were so thorough in making sure that everything that we needed was planned and prepared. The event itself ran smoothly, and they took care of everything for us. The work they put into decorating the place really showed, and everything looked beautiful. I would definitely plan another event at this location!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at this venue!! We worked mostly with Jill and she was incredible to work with; she was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We didnt have to worry about anything the day of, the staff made sure everything was set up according to plan and it was all so beautiful! The venue itself is also incredible and the rooftop with the view of downtown made everything even better.

Great venue for your next event. The rooftop lounge area is exciting with great view of the city. The interior is spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for whatever you have planned.

First and foremost, the venue was phenomenal. The best one yet, just AWESOME! I do my fair share of partying, but this event exceeded all my expectations. Three floors of food, drink, and fun. This event venue is one of my favorites in the city. Big and spacious on the ground floor, an awesome view of the Dallas skyline from the deck on the second floor, and located in the trendy Deep Ellum area.

If you’re looking for a unique place to host your wedding, look no further than 2616 Commerce Event Center. It was made even better by working with Lisa, who was accommodating, professional and made sure to go above and beyond, every step of the way. We had multiple planning meetings before and even showed up early to set up. We caught her off guard, but Lisa was professional and accommodating with all of our requests. We had our cocktail hour on the Skydeck before moving downstairs for our reception. It ended up being a warmer day than expected, so Lisa, without hesitation, scrambled to put the umbrellas on all the tables to give our guests some much needed shade. We had one small problem when the sound system quit working on the deck, but Lisa quickly set up a backup speaker. By the time I had even noticed, she already brought the speaker out and the DJ was upstairs setting up his music. Lisa was there all night, and even helped our family pick up at the end of the night.A couple of the best perks beyond the location and Lisa:-Cool location with a great view of downtown.-Ability to rent out the parking lot behind the venue.-Ability to bring in all of your own vendors.-Provided security for peace of mind.-Handled all of the day of coordination for us.

We had our PTA School Auction at this location and it could not have gone any better then it did. The staff is great to work with and helped with a lot of the details. They were there all the way down to the last minute. The location is great and deep ellum is a fun environment. We were very fortunate to have great weather on event day. This allowed us to enjoy that beautiful roof top view and celebrate outside.

My husband and I got married here. We rented the pent house and patio. Our guests loved the location (as did we). The staff was really easy to work with. Lisa was always easy to contact and was avalible for all of our questions and concerns. The bartender was awesome too. Highly recommended this event space.

This is a wonderful turnkey event space located in Deep Ellum. Lisa and her team were great and my event went on without a hitch. Great sunset view of the Dallas skyline from the deck was the perfect cherry on top.

This place is PERFECT for a wedding venue, or party. I got married may 4 on the deck and had my reception on the first floor and Lisa really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. From the very beginning she was on top of things, and on the big day she made sure everything went perfectly. Definitely couldnt imagine having my wedding any other place, and Lisa is definitely the best person to help make your day perfect! HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Lisa and Jill are unbelievably amazing with their attention to detail and impeccable customer service. They truly care about the success of each event at their space and go above and beyond to ensure the quality the space and the happening surrounding the event. They stay in communication throughout the planning process and even throughout the duration of the event. We have had our formal at 2616 Commerce for the last three years and love it. Theyre very accommodating day of and had everything we asked for. theyre easy to work with and always go above and beyond for us. Love this venue.

From the beginning Jill was so willing to work with us to make our day the best it could be. The staff was so helpful with making sure everything went as planned even with the weather being so questionable. The set up was beautiful for both the ceremony and the reception and we really appreciate the effort they put into it, we know its a lot of hard work. The bartenders were friendly and professional, and DJ Mike was a terrific recommendation. Our guests still have not stopped talking about the venue and how much fun they had. It really is a beautiful place and it was run very well. Out of all the weddings we have been to there has never been a venue that was as lenient and cooperative as this. We could not have found a better place to have our wedding and we just really wanted to thank Jill for everything she did.

My venue double booked our date and we had to search for a new venue in a very short period of time. Lisa, the venue manager totally saved our wedding day. We met with her and within 2 weeks she had made all the arrangements for our reception. They already had the linens and decor in our colors and she coordinated the catering and entertainment. The venue was amazing.

The space is amazing. The event I attended only had about 20 chairs for 1000 people. More cocktail tables and benches or something would have been great.

Atmosphere was awesome. Could not beat the location, a very urban upscale feel. Event staff was extremely helpful. Ask for Jill, very professional and accommodating. My newlywed wife was very pleased and thats saying something.

Just called to confirm an event Im DJing for. After attempting 3 different extensions I finally got a hold of someone. You cant run a business and answer with Hello? She was very unprofessional and told me she didnt had time for me and to call her at the end of the week. Whoever answers extension 4 needs a new job or a better attitude.

I would suggest using caution if you are considering renting this venue. I would also suggest insisting upon paying any needed staff directly. She has a wage claim filed against her for not paying event staff. The people who rented the venue now have a pending legal action filed against them as well for failure to pay.

Love this place. As I DJ this is one of my favorite venues to DJ at. Every floor is great and Lisa is the best to work with.

This is my third event at 2616 Commerce, what a great place to create mood for any event. The twins Lisa & Jill have always been accommodative and work very hard to ensure that every need is met from the flowers, tables, linens and suggestions on how to improve your experience.After my recent event on May 13th, I personally received countless emails, text and face-to-face comments on how they really enjoyed the event as well as venue. I highly recommend the 2616 Commerce Event Center and look forward to hosting future events.

Hands down BEST VENUE. Not just for the money. But period! You couldnt ask for a better floor manager. Really dont know how they do it. The owner must reward those guys tremendously . Cause when they say Its your event they really go out of there way to make you feel like your day is the only day that matters. Thank You 2616 management and staff.

Oh, it has been a horrible experience for me. The venue is amazing and the pricing is great. It is so difficult to get a response from someone or to get a call back. Lisa is very disorganized and unprofessional. The dates available are really not available. It has just been frustrating experience for me.5 stars to the venues1 start to Lisa

Real nice place to have a event.

This is one of the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I was interested in renting out the venue for an event I was hosting, therefore I contacted the business and scheduled an appointment to look at the venue. After the visit I was promised a phone call and a quote via email or phone. However, not only did the business not provide any additional renting information, they never contacted me back after the 4 voice mails I left them. In this time and day we do not have time to waste on waiting for someone to call you back when youre planning an event. Its their loss that they lost their business with me and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this horrible experience with this venue.

We want to thank Lisa and the team for helping to make our wedding reception so beautiful. We had an absolutely wonderful time, and we have heard so many compliments on the venue.

What a disappointment it was working with 2616. I probably messaged over 100 venues in the DFW area for our wedding. I narrowed it down and given the gorgeous view from here, we had 2616 in our top spots to chose from. I called Joan ahead of time and booked an appointment for the venue tour. We came to the venue and it seems as if they couldnt have cared less if we booked or not. Every other venue we went to sat down with us individually and gave us a contract to take home to review. While on tour, I was told my date was available and asked for a contract the following week first thing. While still telling me the date was available, I was getting last minute questions answered and was more than ready to book, but still no contract in my hand. Jill went on vacation and I wasnt made aware she was leaving at all nor that anyone else was even looking at the date we had. I wasnt receiving any response back, so I went ahead and called 2616 directly. Joan told me that Jill had a ton of phone calls and emails to get to it and if I had already emailed her that morning, I would get a response back that day from her. Waited the whole day and still no response or communication. I called the next day and left a voicemail for the other coordinater, Lisa asking if somehow I could get a contract in hand. Nothing. Finally, two days later I get a text from Jill saying she is out of town. When she gets back Monday, she tells me my date is booked and that they have an available date a different Saturday in the same month and then in May. After a couple texts back and forth, I asked if I could get a contract for the other Saturday in the same month trying to accomadate. No response, reply, email. I feel the communication between this staff is extremely poor. While we were ready to spend thousands of dollars with them and have our entire ceremony and reception there, we will not be booking here simply due to the staff. Pretty sad, because the atmosphere would be fantastic. Save your money and book elsewhere with a vendor who actually cares about your special day or event!

We walked by 2616 Commerce a thousand times when out in Deep Ellum, so it was our first choice for our wedding ceremony & reception. There are so many GREAT things about hosting your event here.1. You can bring in your own vendors for food, photo booths, etc.2. You can supply your own alcohol, but utilize their bartenders to serve for a pretty good price. They did everything from cutting up limes to stocking ice for us.3. They supply tons of table linens, centerpiece vases, easels, etc. and take care of setup and cleanup.4. All of their spaces are really great. We had our ceremony on the rooftop deck, and it was beautiful. Our reception downstairs had plenty of space, exposed brick walls, and a big dance floor. And the upstairs Penthouse is also fantastic.5. The location is right in the middle of Deep Ellum. They allowed us to keep partying past 1am, but once your event is over, there are tons of bars and restaurants that guests can migrate to.6. Lisa and the event staff were really great to work with. She helped us SO much by pointing us to some of their preferred vendors, put in lots of hours at the event, and really made sure that everything went off without a hitch.We ended up doing our rehearsal dinner in the upstairs Penthouse the night before, which also worked out great. Bottom line is that we’re so happy we chose to have our wedding events here. Our guests had a great time, and we saved a lot of money vs. many Dallas venues because of everything 2616 allowed and provided. Huge thank you to Lisa and the staff that helped us throughout the process.
