This was a great place and staff (security & bartender)was great. Tony was a great person and took care of us, and was very responsive. Could not ask for more. Made my Twins Quinceanera, special ands time to remember. Would recommend it to everyone. Remember to treat people as you want to be treated, does not matter what they are wearing. Quinceanera was perfect!!!!

The venue itself was great. The professionalism from the staff (aside from Tony) is why I would never use this venue again. Bruce was unresponsive, I had to send multiple emails and call just to get one reply. This is when I was told “I only work on wedding stuff on Mondays”. Upon arrival to the event nothing was setup on time (tables, chairs, cleanliness of bathroom, groom/bride rooms, and sound system, bartending services). My event also started 30-35 minutes late because there were sound issues. We were finally able to play music and use the microphone but the speakers were busted, so it was not very loud.I used in-house catering, the food was good but everyone on the staff ate the food I paid for. Then they took the food back without telling me, so I never got the extra food plates I paid for. On the promotion it states you will receive a $350 credit if you use their catering but I did not receive this credit, because Bruce stated I needed to meet at least a 2K food limit, mine was only $1,080. This was never communicated to me prior. Bruce then proceeded to tell me a day before my wedding he would pass on the food if I didn’t pay him the amount without this credit.Lastly, I paid extra for an off duty police officer to oversee my event, but they just used a regular security guard (“mall cop”). I hope this review helps future bride and grooms with their decision!!

This event would have been much better had indoor seating were available. It was definitely too hot to be outside. The ladies came dressed to empress. We bought something to support the vendors but some werent the right vendors for this event.

Floor debris/trash in venue upon arrival. Limited outlets and a couple didnt even work. Poor venue lighting. Facilities manager was on site but unavailable. Spacious venue with courtyard and big open kitchen. Large bay doors allow easy access and daytime lighting.

The venue it’s self is pretty cute and has a nice little area out side. Although I met the owner and he was VERY rude. The owner was there in a tank top and saggy shorts.The staff was all useless and rude as well thinking they were all better than the guest. Attended a wedding being held here and they were taking pictures on the roof and I was told BY THE OWNER that I couldn’t go up there bc there was a weight limit (I’m 5”5 and 115lbs). Super rude service when being served drinks, the bartender shot gunned beers that were provided by the guest and for the guest only! Definitely wouldn’t recommend having your event here

The venue was very spacious and I loved the big kitchen 😍 in the back. It is a really nice place to have an event. The only problem is the the day of the event the air condition unit went out on one side and it was hot 🔥. The event was in June 2021.

Called the owner lofty spaces and off the grid and he answered very irritated and went on unapologetically about some stuff that had nothing to do with me. I guess he thought I was someone else?He then ignored my next few calls and finally answered after a few tries. He didn’t apologize, only informed me that he thought I was his brother.I then went on to inquire about hosting our mutual aid event at his space and he went on to assume that we were looking to trade for a tax right off or a free rental and he explicitly stated that he has no intention to help anyone in that way & that he only cares about himself. I swear to you those were his exact words, and I honestly couldn’t believe that he would openly say that to a willing paying customer.I got very bad vibes from this gentlemen and would not recommend giving this man your business. Maybe he was just having an off day, but the way he treated the idea of hosting a mutual aid event was very disrespectful. He does not care about your event, nor I imagine he cares about making sure you have a successful event. Seems like he only cares about himself and $.Hopefully you will have a different experience than I did.

Catered the All Access Art Show Dallas 19 at this location. Venue was spacious and accommodating to the needs of guess and vendors. Will need to have all food prepared being there is only a prep area to setup. (P.S. We took a microwave for anything need reheating) Adequate parking

Had an amazing experience at Lofty. Its specious and gives you everything that you need to feel at home. There were extra amenities that I really enjoyed too. The layout and interior design was different but in a good way. I will 100% stay here again!

Chocolate & Art show was way too crowded, too hot, too loud, nothing in place to accommodate disabled persons like myself. I wont be going back to this venue.

Came to this space for the Chocolate and Art show which comes to Dallas in the first quarter of the year. Its a nice space to see all kinds of art along with the artists. Complementary chocolate fountain is provided with pretzels, marshmallows, strawberries etc. Great tacos are also made here

Just got married here! it was beautiful and easy! We had our ceremony outside and reception inside!!!! Ladell was more than helpful-I had a billion questions, he had all the answers and answered them right away! He made everything so easy and smooth! Will always remember him because of how genuinely nice and personable he was! Love love love lofty spaces!

While I dont understand having to rent a ladder, or having to use their caterers - in order to use the big, full service, kitchen..... the staff was sweet very helpful, when I accidentally broke a glass vase. The floors are concrete, so bring your favorite comfy slippers for after pictures are taken.

This is a really great space with very attentive staff. I was there to work so I didnt get to see the entirety of the space but what I saw was fantastic. The options for what you could do here is very versatile. There are kitchen quarters that also has a large open area for dining or whatever. There was a main space that could house a lot of ppl. I think I saw a max occupancy sign and it was under 200. The parking situation isnt the best but still a neat place for events IMO. Bathrooms were clean and staff was kept them stocked while we were there. Heres a few pics from the event I worked

Not a bad location. Just on the outskirts of Downtown Dallas, not far from the Dallas Police Station. Free parking. Very comfortable inside, great lighting. Nice and clean.

It was one of the greatest experience weve had in a long time. The different foods and drinks, tea, trinkets and clothes, purses that were so unusual and different from anything Ive seen. We will be going every year.

I will change my review once this place actually gives refunds, or stop supporting vendors who do not give refunds. Valentines Wine & Food Tasting LOFTY SPACES on Eventbrite website cxld this event. I am ok with that, but they refuse to give a refund and instead want to give a credit for a future event. I do not want to go to a different event and I do not want to do a Valentines event on another day that is not Valentines day. I disputed with my cc company and will continue email them daily, on facebook, and any other social media outlet they are on until I get my refund. One of the best open concept venues in Dallas

My experience with this venue has turned me off from anything associated with this owner. At first meet he was okay. I felt he was a little bit cocky but we fell in love with the venue. Long story short after viewing the venue we made an appointment to meet with him the following week, and confirmed the time the day before the meeting. He not only did not show he failed to have someone there to meet with us. He was no where to be found and unreachable. We had to stand around in the venue because the worker there had to leave after his current appointment. We got luckily that the worker was really nice to show us around again, but was unable to take our deposit. We finally got a hold of owner the next week. He failed to answer any emails, but answer when called only to tell us that he gave us false information and our date was not available. We was able to look over the bad because it was really nice. I draw the line on unprofessional and lack of common decency to respect others time.

This was a perfect venue for our Sadie Hawkins Dance, there is great parking and the event manager was so helpful. The view of the Dallas skyline is perfect. The kids had a great time. The venue is decorated and comes with everything you need so our efforts were minimal. I cant wait to use it next year.Debra Bishop

Excellent overall experience having our wedding at Lofty Spaces. Bruce and Liddell (sorry if my spelling is wrong) were great help in realizing our event and making our wedding truly special. Both of these gentlemen were available during flexible hours on location or over the phone, and answered all of our questions. Very reasonably priced venue. The site looked fantastic when guests began to arrive. The food was excellent as well. Many people commented on how much they enjoyed the food prepared there. Everyone also gave compliments about the venue. Our pictures also turned out really great. My wife wanted an urban, rustic setting, and Lofty Spaces was perfect for that. Also has a roof where you can get skyline pictures. In general, we were completely satisfied with how our wedding turned out and would definitely recommend this space to others looking for an event venue.

I am hosting a banquet for high school seniors. This venue is perfect for events like mine, weddings or any party or celebration. The people are extremely easy to work with and very flexible. The space can be transformed in to any ambience you desire. The sound system and video projector are available and included in the rental. The catering is fantastic. It is literally a one stop shop for your party- Photo Booth, lighting, tables, flatware, dishes etc.. You will be thrilled with your party at Lofty Spaces

Great space for events. Very useful space. One negative was that none of the toilets would flush. That made it a bit scary with over 200 attendees at the event.

Wind we were having the wedding we did see a rat up in the ceiling lighting. We still had a great time without mentioning what we saw also needed more time to set up the venue for the wedding it was started late because of it. Great place but need to focus on the customer that paid money not the people that they hired.Thank you for the gracious memory that was shared in your place, but in the future please pay more attention to the customer is paying and what they mean before the building.Wishing you Gods Grace. My daughter and new son-in-law were married on Friday at Lofty Spaces. The venue was perfect for the ceremony and reception. From the planning to the event - the staff at Lofty Spaces were helpful and friendly, attentive and easy to work with. We used the Lofty Spaces caterer and we were very happy with that decision. The reception was awesome and the staff took care of all of the details of set up and tear down. It was a great experience and the memories made on Friday will last a lifetime. Selecting Lofty Spaces for the wedding was a great choice and our guests really enjoy the venue with the Dallas skyline too.

Really neat venue for a wedding! I was a groomsman in a good friend of mines wedding here and really enjoyed the overall feel of the space. There is a kitchen and multiple preparation/dressing rooms off to the side. There is a main open indoor area perfect for a reception or dance floor. The primary outdoor space has a view of the Dallas skyline and a minimalist design emphasis with white walls, dark wood, and a neatly trimmed hedge.

My friends and I threw a party at Lofty Spaces and we had a great time. The facility was spacious, clean and appealing. Bruce was very nice and so easy to work with, our experience couldnt have been better. There was a small issue with the set-up, but it was quickly resolved and the rest of the evening went smoothly.This venue is a great place for any kind of party and I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Went to one of the art festivals. The area looked ok but they had turned it into one lively place. Overall good experience.

We had our company holiday party here last year and this year. Its a decent sized building with plenty of room for about 100 people. Its fairly close to downtown.

My cousin had his wedding here and I loved the set up! The staff was very helpful and so kind. I would recommend this place for a wedding or any special occasion!

My girlfriends and I threw a cocktail party at Lofty Spaces a couple of weeks ago. It was an awesome time! I loved the open space and the atmosphere was great for us to do whatever we wanted to do. Despite a small problem with the set up (that was quickly resolved) Bruce and his team was awesome and we couldnt have asked for a better group of folks to work with.This space could be used for absolutely anything and I highly recommend it for any of your party needs.

My club had a party their. The venue itself is nice and perfect for parties. The management however was very rude and they also have hidden prices. Quote you one thing then add on close to the date of your party and the day of!

I recently hosted a party at Lofty Spaces. The management team was very cooperative and helpful during the planning process. Each and every time we had a question or concern, they were available. The actual venue was located in a spot where you know you and your guest will have total privacy. No distractions from other businesses! There was more than enough room to accommodate our guests!The only downside was that the venue was not all the way set up when we arrived before the party, but it was quickly fixed and the guests had no idea of the hurdle we jumped through! :)I would strongly recommend Lofty Spaces and will probably using them again, if the occasion so arises!

Attended a fashion show last Sunday in support of my spa who was apart. I was appalled on how they were treated by the staff . The doors were to open at 6, but it was close to 6:30 all because the staff, made it so difficult for things to get done. This venue could have potential if customer service was par, unfortunately this is not the case.

I have setup at Lofty Spaces four times and its been positive every time. I always enjoy the sense of humor and good nature of Ladell when working there.

Nice spot...They need to work on their presentation (Outside) of the building. But the inside is gorgeous.

Nice venue. Ive been to several events here. Parking is not the best. You may have to park in the grass and or dirt, but its worth it.

Ive planned many events across the metro plex and even in different parts of the world and this is BY FAR one of the best locations ive ever used. Not only is it a beautiful and spacious place - the owners and managers are easy to work with. I had an event this past weekend over there and all in attendance also raved about how amazing it was. I cant wait to rent this space again. Definitely top of my list!! Thanks Bruce and Team!!

This space and location is incredible. The staff is so helpful and willing to do whatever you need to get your event ready. I love the moveable white walls and the ability to pin stuff to the walls if needed. All the amenities that are already included in the price of the rental makes the value well worth it! I highly recommend this place for your next event.

I just threw the party of year....well at least my year, in my world at Lofty Spaces. I could not have had a better experience. The venue was spacious, and very versatile. I cannot say enough about the owner and his responsiveness, even with my million and one questions [I can be a wee-bit anal :~)], but he answered every single one and in a timely fashion. While we did have one itty bitty snafu at the beginning - the owner, being ever so accessible cleared everything up right away and the night went off without a hitch thereafter! Best birthday party to date!!!!

I was here as a guest to a wedding and there was plenty of space, indoors for the reception and outdoors for the wedding ceremony. There were other rooms for the bridal parties to get ready in as well. It was a beautiful space.

Over hyped. Chairs are not comfortable, designed for short people. Small establishment.

Nice building. Bad service. Theyre nice and cooperate, til youre hooked. They make it very difficult for vendors to come in and do what they need to do. Youre on Their time! No to that! No to this! Just beware.

I would NEVER recommend this venue to anyone. My reception took place here and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I was deceived about the capacity of the space which led to having to find a new ceremony venue + have invitations reprinted just weeks before the wedding. This was just one of about a dozen things that went wrong as a direct result of the poor ownership and management of Lofty Spaces. Save yourself the drama and look elsewhere, despite how tempting it may be to book here.

It was a decent venue, but it in a transitional neighborhood south of downtown Dallas and it is a long drive if you live in tbe suburbs

Only clicked a 1 star because I had to. Parking attendants Rude out of this world. Was told that the reason they were not gonna work is because the owner made them work 19 hours straight and they were tired. I asked for more chairs the guy told me to go get them myself out the closet. REALLY!!!!! Because of them the show was delayed, they wouldnt set up anything properly. DJ equipment etc...They proceeded to scold my partner in a room of people expressing their frustration. These guys told us they would not move anything for us. Started threatening Fees etc... They were horrible.

There a man across the street that runs off patrons by letting out his dogs. He thinks that he owns the streets. You can park on the street. Nice hidden treasure.

We celebrated our 25th Wedding Vow Renewal on Saturday! What a venue! Simply amazing! So many picturesque places. The loft style layout accommodated all of our needs. Beautiful rooftop pictures with the downtown skyline creating the perfect background! The owner, Bruce and staff (Ladell) exuded professionalism at its best!Love! Love! Love! Lofty Spaces!

Absolutely love this place! The owner is so layed back, he treated my family like his family meanwhile taking care of our needs. He explained everything in detail and even let us take pictures on the rooftop. Why would you go anywhere else if you have everything you need with him?

I wish I could give this venue negative stars. The owner is rude and unprofessional. They steal peoples deposits and overbook the venue. I had to cancel my event because they double booked it and informed me at the last minute, and never gave me a refund on our deposit. The owner here is a THIEF. Dont go there!

I attended a wedding here as a photographer and the location is downtown, it looks industrial on the outside, with a warehouse feel but the inside was a blank slate open space and white, recently completed (one week at that time) there could have been more accommodations and staff on hand. There is another location next door which I felt like was more attended. Nothing seemed to be provided (linens, no real kitchen, the dressing rooms were empty, no tables, mirrors, and unventilated, the heat intake of the building was crazy.) The uncovered windows allowed too much heat to where the guests were literally soaked from the amount of heat and mind you the AC was cranked that morning (the wedding was at 7pm). The uplighting should be spread amongst the room and not just on the two poles in the center of the room. Its a great space, just needs more of an event feel and coverage for those summer months.

Beautiful establishment, horrible location. Its a diamond in the rough. U can only find it if you are looking for it. It needs to become visible from the street so people know it exist. Driving by looks like nothing is over there.

It seems as if every staff member that works here has a giant stick in their tookus! The manager was very rude and impolite! They will not hesitate to throw you out in the rain the second your party is over. You can spend all day waiting for them but they do absolutely no waiting of their own. Worst venue Ive ever been to hands down and I cater a new venue every day
