Very high priced. Had a gas smell on my vehicle thinking I had a bad o-ring on fuel line. He said it was the o-ring for fuel pump big lock ring. $800+ to replace fuel pump and to do no work and put back $640. Not good business. I do most work myself but was unable to do it this time. Think twice before using him. Oh and dont use a debit or write a check there is another $60 fee added to the bill. He only wants CASH.
Great honest service. ASE certified guys know what theyre doing . Great job fixing my thermostat without breaking my bank. Will come again.
Needlessto getting your car fixed is never a good thing, but Socapine Auto makes the process substantially more bearable. The are both quick and efficient, they explained everything in detail, to make sure you are comfortable with what they found and what needs to be done. If you find yourself in need a mechanic or even basic auto maintenance, i highly recommend you give them a chance.
Had a decent experience, needed oil and filter replaced. Pricing was reasonable as well. Only thing to keep in mind since this is not a 10 min oil change place it takes a little longer.
Broke my car, I called and asked him about it, he said he would call back and never did. Stay away from this place. His assistant is AWFUL!! Cheap, you get what you pay for. I went in for a SIMPLE JOB, after he touched it my car started misfiring, took it to dealer, $4200 work of repairs. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
I had brakes and rotors installed on my vehicle here. I also mentioned that my radio wasnt working and asked Ike if he could look at it while emphasizing it was not a priority. He stated he was able to work on the radio as well. The next day, I received a call from Ike stating that the brakes were done, the radio was fixed but he couldnt get my driver side window to roll up. That Id need to purchase a window regulator and have it installed quoting a price of $600 something dollars. I emphatically declined as I have NEVER had an issue with my driver window up to this point. I advised that he needed to do whatever possible to get the window back up. I called back to check on the status and miraculously, the window rolled up. By the way, I have not had this issue since receiving my vehicle back. After picking up the vehicle, I noticed that the 4 wheel drive needs service was scrolling across the message screen and it was no longer engaged. I brought this to Ikes attention stating he probably accidentally unplugged it because the buttons are placed right above the radio. He denied this as well, stating that my vehicle is older and may be showing signs of wear. I will caution you if you decide to have your vehicle repaired here. I gave 2 stars vs 1 because the brakes work fine but I gave 2 out of 5 stars due to the lack of customer service. Once I took the vehicle to another technician and had them look at it, they confirmed that the 4 wheel drive had been unplugged and fixed the issue. Exactly what I told Ike he probably did but he wanted to be right vs listen. I drove back to Socapine to explain my dissatisfaction with the services rendered and to let Ike know he did indeed unplug the 4 wheel drive. I also gave him a suggestion to listen to customers going forward both male and female vs trying to argue a point. Visit at your own risk.
