These guys are awesome- I went in thinking my AC was broken and would need a replacement part costing me thousands. They were extremely honest and found an easy solution (something was simply unplugged) to the problem, and I barely spent anything. The guy who worked on my car even kept it overnight to check and make sure his assessment of the problem was correct. They clearly care about quality work and honesty, which one doesn’t always see with many car repair places. I would absolutely recommend them- thank you for helping me not suffer in the Texas heat this summer!

I tought is important for you guys to know about this before taking your car here. Theres a few lessons I learn on my way. I took my car here the first time after looking at the review for the a/c check.After taking it there they told me it was low on freon and a seal was leaking.After a few days the a/c started failing again, something wasnt right. You will think is something they probably havent check or forgot so you take it back again expecting them to get it fix it correctly this time.Now they told me the their machine is broken (isnt my fault), and they need to adjust the a/c freon.The car suppose to have an exact amount of a/c freon weight on the hood, so it shouldnt be hard for them to fill up. But they also without asking me when and procede to change the air filter (that I replace less than 10k miles ago). Without asking.And charged me $32 for another filter that Im sure dont need.And Im sure isnt even a factory replacement neither and is a cheap aftermarket.I dont mind to pay, but as long as Im asked first.Because at the end of the day end up being from a $140 fixing a $5 seal + refill and now add the refill again and the $32.So what it supposed to be a no charge correct fix this timeNow my bill is running over $170 for something I would rather do myself.Not everybody gave $32 dollar to spend like that. Sometimes people live check by check and charging them $32 for something they dont need or they cannot afford at the moment isnt fair.Another thing is the car is a manual transmission, when I went to pick it up the car was parked on the lot right next the shop. Without the parking brake on and in neutral? My car could have roll over hitting another car or somebody.They need to be more careful about how they leave the cars in the parking and if the machine is malfunctioning they should call back all the clients that may be affected by this issue and not wait until the client need to loose a day from work to having to go back to get the stuff done twice.Is really frustrating because I have issues having a mechanic around in this city that Im new in finding a mechanic to trust and my first experience with them is a Rocky one. Is such a bad impression and bad experience. Is this incident really make me feel comfortable to come back?

My engine was overhearing so I took my Hyundai Sonata Hybrid in to see what was wrong. Turns out I had to replace the electric water pump and thermostat. I called several places to price check and Loe Field Auto was the best price. After I got it fixed I was still having issues with it over heating so I took it back. They didnt take all of the air out, which was the cause of the issue. They then fixed it completely, havent had any issue since. Wish that would have been done the first time, but at least they solved the problem. Everyone who works there is honest and reliable. Despite my issue would reccomend.

I had some lights coming on for the brake system and airbag. Kevin told me it was low on brake fluid and there was a wire loose on the airbag sensor. Easy fix and very reasonable price. I took my vehicle here because of the other reviews regarding honesty and integrity. He could have taken advantage but didnt and now Ive got a GREAT place for my vehicles! HIGHLY recommend!

My older car (2008 Honda CRV) developed a low level whine this morning, so I rolled into Love Field Auto on a recommendation on the Next Door app. I explained my problem, went for a quick drive with a mechanic who also noted the brake rotor problem which had been bothering me for months, but not enough to take it in anywhere! Really because I just havent had car trouble, havent needed any repairs in years. Anyway they called me in about half an hour with an estimate (power steering had a small leak causing the noise I had noticed) and got the job done including an oil change in another 2.5 hours. Friendly people. I didnt get any feeling of manipulation or upselling. Reasonable price too. Im happy with it, car drives smoother and no noise.

Dropped car off Thursday night to be looked at on Friday. by 10.00AM Friday the shop both texted and Randy called me about my car to discuss what they had found, the estimated cost, and if they should/shouldnt move forward.After saying saying yes, He let me know Id get another text when my car was ready and it should be done by the afternoon so I can have it for the weekend. It was done by 3:30pm.1. It was very easy to get in contact with them every step of the way2. I never felt pressured or trapped into saying yes about the repair3. Kevin quickly forwarded me the estimate/invoice for insurance4. Picking up and paying for the repair was as quick and painless as can be expected.No one likes throwing money at repairs, but Randy and Kevin made it quick, easy, and effortless. Great service and they follow best practices when it comes to troubleshooting issues. I was told by a mainstream shop that I needed a head gasket which was not the case. Love Field diagnosed my Subaru and it ended up needing a tune up, wiring repaired at the alternator. They also recommended the timing chain and water pump replacement which they did. The car feels new again. I am very very pleased with the service team’s honesty and quality of work.

Love Field Auto took care of me. I have owned my car for 16 years. Maybe people laugh at it but I love this car. It failed inspection for the first time.My Knock Sensor was out and my Service Engine Soon light was not coming on. My car also seemed significantly weaker and gas mileage was notably lower.Randy and Kevin were great. My car was fixed, runs like her old self now. Followed Randys suggestion to wait a few days for all the sensors to reset before inspecting again.Mileage and power like before and passed State Inspection! Thank you Randy and Kevin! Still puzzled by the Service Engine Soon light thing but they fixed it, bottom line. Would definitely recommend! They are now my first choice for the future.

This was my first time coming to Love Field Auto--I read about it on Yelp and was impressed with what I saw there.Kevin was very helpful--I came to the shop pretty much completely ignorant of what was going on with my car and he walked me through what needed to be done. He was responsive on the phone and patient with my ignorance. His assessment of past service work on my car (done at a local dealership) was accurate and indicated both his skill and his honesty.The work that was done on my car was not cheap (new brake pads, new spark plugs) was not cheap but so far have been problem free. Will be coming back!

Me and Patrick have not used this shop before, so we were nervous. But Randy and the guys did a good job and worked hard on a rather challenging electrical problem. They had to get on the ford help line to diagnose the cars ECU was sending a bad signal to sons mustang air intake manifold. not easy. Could have been faster service. But good work. And honest.

I am glad I found this place when I was looking for an automotive repair shop for my 02 Nissan Pathfinder. I never had to take my Pathfinder to a shop other than the basic maintenance. As my Pathfinder got older and with more usage 165k miles, it began to give me trouble. I looked around and found Love Field. It had great reviews from other past owners and I can see why. The staff whom I communicated mostly with my issues for my Pathfinder, Randy and Kevin, were always friendly, honest and to the point. They really listen to you and really look into diagnosing the problem. Once they find the issue, they explained (clearly) the problem and offer options for the repair which I like. If there were any delays, I will either get a call or email from them to with an update so I am never guessing what’s is going on with my truck which I also like. The cost is fair and competitive with other shops around the area. Since my Pathfinder was so old, it had several issues and needed updating (O2 sensors, key programming, ac schader valve, and most recent the air intake valve computer console). Each time I take it to Love Field the repairs have always come out great with no issues. I can honestly attest Love Field is my go to auto shop and I will always recommend them to my friends because of the great service and great experience.
