Trisha cut my daughters hair today and I can honestly say I’m beyond pleased with her service! My daughters hair looks awesome, she loves it! I’ve never had anyone take the time that Trisha did when they’ve cut her hair. She was above and beyond what I expected walking in and I have found our new stylist! The girl that cut my hair was very unfriendly. I tried several times to make conversation and she didnt even offer a grunt. It was the worst shampooing Ive ever received. she barely applied any effort. And the cut was very uneven on the top. Will not be returning.

I almost dont want to share my hairdresser with you lol. Trisha is fantastic but very hard to get appt with her because of that. She is great with kids as well. My son loves going to see her and usually talks non stop and she really listens and engages with him. Its nice to know that because of covid and only the person getting services are allowed in, that I can trust her to take care of him.Thanks Trisha!

Haley did an amazing job waxing my eyebrows. Somehow, she did it and it didnt hurt like normal!! I also got my hair cut. She is very knowledgeable about curly hair and the best way to manage it.

Hailey is the coolest, most chill person who’s ever cut my hair for me. if you are a guy and have short hair and are a little worried about a girl cutting your hair go to her or if she isn’t there ask for crystal as well. Both of them are pros and really cool people.

I went in with no idea what I wanted down, so I gave my stylist free reign to do what she thought would be best and it was amazing. The stylists are so funny and I love chatting with them while they work their magic.

This place is an unprofessional overpriced joke. I spent near $250 on a cut and color. They told me the extra charge for longer hair and highlighting fee so I did know that from the start. There were other added fees thrown in that they did NOT tell me about even though the stylist claimed she did. And the color didn’t turn out like I wanted it to. It was nice but way darker and not noticeable at all. So the next day I called to complain and another stylist told me to make another apt. I did, and days later met with my original stylist. The first thing out of her mouth is that she talked to her manager and she’ll have to charge me. She spent too much hair dye on me before, she’d have to do it again to fix it, and it would be like STEALING from the company to not charge me again.This is how they treat people that had been going there for 15 yrs. I got my hair done here for my wedding many yrs ago, and now I am DONE wasting my time and money here.

My hairdresser knows me and my hair well. She does a fine job styling my hair.

If you have long hair, do NOT go here. I normally go to MC Hair Consultants, a high end salon, but to save money I decided to try Famous Hair. First off, the salon was dirty and the woman who came to the front desk was rude. I asked her how much a cut and color would be and she asked how long my hair was. It was down so I just kinda held it out, I dont have an exact measurement, its about a couple inches below my shoulder. She said because my hair was long, it would be at least $20 more than the usual price because shed have to make several batches (at MC, my stylist has only ever used one). I ask her if the cut is included, its not. I ask if blow dry is included, and she says they can blow it dry but to use a brush costs extra. Conditioning is extra too. She starts actually adding up all these figures in a freaking calculator, and says it will be at least $80 (not including styling or conditioning). Um yeah. Major rip off. Guess how much a cut and all over color is at MC? $80!! But for that price, you walk into a nice and clean salon, no one is ever rude, you get refreshments, you get someone who actually knows what theyre doing cutting and coloring your hair (no matter how long it is), washing (conditioner included of course), blow dried and styled any way you want (flat-ironed, wavy, curly, etc). So….if these low end places are actually charging the same as high end salons if youre hair is a couple inches past your shoulders, then whats the point? I ended up just going back to MC and getting the outstanding quality and service I have for years.

I would occasionally go here for regular trims and would receive decent results, but I don’t think I’ll ever be returning here. The other day i went to get my bangs trimmed since they were below my eyes. I wanted side bangs right to my eyebrow, but I ended up leaving with these way too short, unevenly cut, and overall worst straight across bangs I’ve ever had. I ended up leaving the salon crying and regretful. They’re too short for anyone to even fix them, so I have to walk around looking like a mushroom until they grow out. However, I’ve only ever gotten results this bad from one of stylists there (I do not know her name), and I think the other ladies do a good job.

This is where Ill be going from now on! What a difference coming to this salon than the Famous in West Akron. So great! The manager, Alicia, makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in the door. She also gave me a GREAT cut & highlights.

I went here with my mom to get my eyebrows done for the first time. The lady who did my brows took her time and was very thorough with her work!

Given them three chances with three different hair stylist and I can just say an absolute mistake. They cut both a female and males hair wrong did absolute opposite of what was asked. Cut way to short to where all you have to do now is wait for it to grow back, completely waisted my money and time. Every bit of hair dye they put in two weeks earlier was just completely cut out . Will be going to a different famous hair that I know has a good staff that knows whats there doing they said they will fix it. Hopefully it can be fixed with the damage they just did. No remorse for a unhappy customer .

The girls here are always nice. from the time you walk in until the time you walk out, you are their top priority. love love love this place

Haley is absolutely amazing! She def won my business back.My first time I got my hair cut by one of the managers. She didnt seem interested in anything I had to say so that was unusual for a stylist but then I get to my gym and see that my neck line was all jacked up and there was hair sticking out. She did a piss poor Job.After coming back extremely angry Haley and I agreed to go Even shorter because that was the only way to fix what the other woman did. I was so embarrassed walking around with a uneven neck line and hair sticking out.I went again today and Haley was again amazing. She cut my hair and waxed my brows. I wouldnt come back or Suggest this place to anyone if It hadnt been for Her.

Ive gone to Famous Hair for years now, its typically the place I go to get a haircut every time and I have yet to leave a review. Well I feel like the hair stylists there deserve a good review because 99% of the time that I go, Im super happy with my hair. Theres been a couple times when theres been a few small mistakes but hey were all human. The last time I went I got a shampoo and the girl did such a good job and she made sure that I felt good with my hair and even took the time to blow dry it. Kudos to the working girls at Famous Hair! You guys do great! Ive tried other places and my girlfriend has been charged outrageously just for a simple curl.

Always get me in and out quickly. Yesterday, they had a particularly busy day but were able to work fit walk- in into their schedule with minimum delay. Did a great job in short order. Just needed a haircut.

Take my son here to get his hair cut all the time. Always get taken care of right away & they always do a good job as well as engage with him while hes there. I can only think of one time they were shorthanded & I ended up not being able to get right in & had to come back another day. Keep the coupons coming, love those too.

Went to get a trim. Ended up costing me over $30! I asked them to dry my hair and they charged me another 12 or 13 dollars. They said they charge for drying depending on how long the hair is! It would have been nice to know this before they did it. I will go to a regular hairstyle company from now on if Im going to have to pay $30. At least I can get my hair styled.

Haley does an awesome job at hair. But for me to get a color and cut its about $250 thats insane. They really over charge people at a lower end salon. Haley was on vacation my last visit and Echo did my hair. She messed it up so badly. The color wasnt even all the way to my roots. A few days later when I called and complained they said Echo would fix it. If she cant get it right the first time after doing for 15 years... Im not letting her try to fix it. I took my business somewhere else.

I am giving them a 2 because at least my hair was done well. Me and my son went in to have my roots done and get his sides and back cleaned up. We specifically said several times that he had been growing out the top for a show we were going to that night for months. When I turned to see his hair when they were done the sides was not even that cleaned up but she cut all the curls off the top he had been growing. Knowing there is nothing that could be done about it I resigned not to freak out but tried to address it calmly to my stylist. There was no offer to make it right, no discount, nothing. I am livid quite frankly. They will never get our buisness again and I suggest you take your buisness elsewhere if you want the stylist to do what you ask them to.

The woman told me she could fade. She couldnt. She was very rude and rushed I had a huge long patch in the front. I went in and had another woman finish it. She did great.
