I don’t even know where to start with this. I would avoid this place at all absolute costs. We found out they had nearly $1,000 dollars of charges racked up on the credit card, for apparently late and cancellations fee’s. So besides the outrageous $170 a month they charge. They believe it’s reasonable to charge 5 times that, in fee’s (not to mention these fee’s were all false). When you try to call them, they NEVER pick up the phone. So even before writing this, tried to resolve the matter by calling them dozens of times, to no avail. And the cherry on top, after the charges were all racked up, they then sent an email demanding an additional $600+ dollars. So in one business, you get over expensive, deceptive, negligent, non responsive, fraudulent charges.
Pure Barre is an amazing 50 minute full body workout. The Pure Barre Crofton location has an amazing vibe. The clientele is mostly women but there’s not a caddy person in the place. It’s one of the most supportive fitness studios I have been to. I’ve been going consistently (5-6 times per week) for 4 years and the workouts are just as difficult as the day I started. There is a wide range of people there in many different age groups and fitness backgrounds. Anyone can fit in easily. I highly recommend trying out the new client special and taking several classes with different instructors. You won’t regret it.
PBC offers 3 different class types : Pure Reform, Pure Empower and Pure Barre Classic. A weekly schedule combining of these three classes have been all I need to push me to my endurance limits and offer an effective workout that delivers results. The studio is always clean and instructors are super friendly. 3 years later and Pure Barre Crofton is still my workout studio of choice!
Ive been taking barre classes at this Crofton location for two years now and I love it! All of the instructors (which includes the owners) are so helpful and nice. This is a really great, supportive community and I actually look forward to workouts now! I have taken a few scattered classes at two other studios that did not compare to Pure Barre Crofton at all! I would recommend PBC to anyone looking for a challenging workout that continues to push you, no matter how long you have been taking classes.
I have been going to Pure Barre Crofton for five years and it is the only workout that I’ve done consistently in my entire life. The results are fast and you can start at any level. As you continue to go, your form becomes better, you become stronger, and the class challenges you in different ways as you you progress. In fact, there are a variety of fitness levels, ages, and people in general. This type of fitness may seem like you would find a bunch of clones but that is not the case making for more of a family vibe. The atmosphere is laid back, comfortable, and encouraging. The instructors take time to make sure you are exercising with proper and safe form, but also to give you praise, which is so uplifting, during workouts. The owners genuinely care about the members and want to get to know each and every person. The have gone above and beyond to connect with us during covid and ensure they’re giving us what we need. This studio has been my saving Grace during the pandemic as it has virtual classes, an active & supportive Facebook group just for members, and the CLEANEST studio with every safety precaution+ in place!I can honestly say this place has made me a better version of myself physically and mentally!
Pure Barre Crofton, or PBC as it is better known to those who attend often, is much more than a workout, it is an entire community of amazing women (and a few men!). The workout itself is a challenging 50 minutes of total body work. There is not a ton of cardio for those who want to avoid running & the like. The owners and instructors are all kind, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable. There is also a very diverse clientele who run the gamete from beginnings to lifers, and everyone is so incredibly supportive of each other. If you are looking for a workout that will challenge your body, allow you to relax your mind and make a few friends along the way, then this is the place for you! The first few classes are hard, but stick with it. You will learn to love it and you will literally see and feel yourself getting stronger each class!!
The first three or so classes really suck. You have no idea whats going on, or what youre doing. After about three classes youll get the swing of things. I hated the first class but kept going because the first week was free. After that I used their new client special and I really enjoy it now. If youve never done it before you might be really sore after the first few classes!Pros: Great workout. Fun. Time flies. Easy to commit to. I saw a lot of progress quickly.Cons: Expensive. Sometimes music is too loud.(Some instructors are better than others - I like Erica H.)
Plenty of parking at this location. Studio is well maintained and clean. The instructors are super friendly and helpful during the class. There is a diverse clientele that go to this location which makes any newbie feel comfortable. I reccomend this Barre location to anyone wanting to try a new kind of workout.
This is my favorite place to start my mornings! The instructors are amazing and the atmosphere is super positive. PBC is a great place for a total body workout and fun with ladies who lift each other up!
First I wanted to say Dani Anderson is my favorite instructor. She’s fantastic. I only take her classes normally. There are things I love and hate about Pure Barre. I love the pure barre classes themselves.I hate that Pure Batre Crofton always overbooks their weekend classes. I stopped going on weekends because it’s too packed in the small room they have. I also hate that they are soo strict on time. I showed up two minutes late today and they locked me out. If you’re even a minute late they won’t let you in. Other places wouldn’t care as long as you’re only a couple minutes late.
Love it!!!
