Very busy shop. They are short staffed so I will be gentle. But if you can go somewhere else I would. Dont try calling. They will never answer. And when they do they put you on hold for 45 min. This has happened for the last two weeks. Sometimes you can press 1 for service and tire 20 times with no answer. We had air conditioner issues...they were resolved as quickly as parts would come in. All 3 times service was prompt. If my warranty didnt make me use them...I would not. They need help. A guy walked off the job while we waited in the lobby. Store is clean now. And bathroom is stocked and well maintained. Overall not the worst experience. It will do in a pinch.
Had an oil leak and turned out it was a leaky gasket cover, but Pep Boys took care of me during the hurricane when many other shops closed down. Would recommend this shop. Its best to catch them when they arent super busy or to drop off care and pick up later. I waited because I didnt have anywhere else to go during a hurricane.
We just needed our breaks checked out, and when we arrived, Michael and Joe where absolutely amazing! They were very professional, kind and courteous. They took the time to squeeze us in, and made sure we were back on the road safely. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone and everyone in town and passing through!
The Pep Boys in Crestview is impressive. They repaired a difficult programming issue on my Suzuki Grand Vitara that nobody else would touch. Their technicians are the best. Most impressive were the front desk people who invented the concept of multi-tasking. Josh and Mike are not only super knowledgeable on cars but the most professional and courteous I think youll find, anywhere.

Five days down the drain along with towing and rental car fees.We will be making comments to Corporate and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer services. Initially, I had a great customer service by phone with Josh and Michael which is why I will validate the 1-star rating. I called and asked if they could take a look at my vehicle. They said sure bring it in and we will take a look at it. Unfortunately the experience went down hill from there. As a business owner, I understand being very busy and backed up. Our vehicle was parked in the same place from Friday morning till Tuesday afternoon. No one touched it, however, they continued to lie saying that someone was looking at it. What a disappointment when we drove by and it was still in the same place! We finally had to remove the vehicle from their service. They cost us time and money as we were using an rental car service. Next time just be honest. Dont say you can do it if you cant. We could have used another service center and avoided extra towing fees and rental car fees.
Joshua the Manager is fantastic!! Super personality, professional, does great under pressure and multitasks with the best of them! They did a great job with replacing all my tires on my truck!!! Would recommend pep boys over any other tire place!!
The crew at this store is phenomenal! My car started acting up on my way home, so I pulled into Pepboys at around 2pm this afternoon (Sunday). Michael made sure my car got assessed incredibly quickly, and then explained what the issue was and that it wouldnt be until the next day that it would be fixed, due to the short Sunday business hours and current workload. Instead, I get a phone call from Michael at 4pm saying that the technician, Joe, decided to jump on it today and get it knocked out for me, at the end of their day, so that Id have it for work tomorrow. This was some of the best service Ive ever received, anywhere. I wont forget it, and I will make sure I recommend this shop to my family and friends. Thank you for everything!
I lucked out. I seriously lucked out. I had my tire tread abandon ship when I was about 20 minutes out from this location. On a sunday. At 3:45 PM. On a holiday weekend. My Lord. I scrambled to figure out what to do and to my delight pep boys was open. So I (very slowly) made my way open and hoped to the gods that they would have totes for me on premise.I was greeted by the nicest Michael who was friendly and ready to help. We found some tires thatll pass for me to continue on ward. They took my car in about 10 minutes and performed the miracle while I broke out my work computer, jumped on the wifi and made this unexpected side adventure a productive one.Live savers!!!

These guys saved me in a time of need!! I was headed back to Dallas and realized I had been driving on a flat. It was not repairable and I needed a new tire. Not only did they slip me in so I could get back on the road ASAP but they were also super friendly and nice and they had the exact tire I needed.They gave my anxious pup attention and let us hang out inside while they fixed the tire within the hour.No other place all the way from Niceville could or would help me unless I waited at least 3 hours.If I could I would give them 10 stars.Thanks y’all!

First time going to pep boys and I can safely say say I will never go back... I never even let them touch my vehicle before I realized they had no clue as to what they were doing. I had them order tires for my diesel truck and they ordered car tires, then the manager told me he could order tires I had already told him I didnt want, then he was trying to explain how 35 tires are really 31 tires. These people clearly dont know what they are doing. So save your time and money go anywhere else!

My girls and I were on our way back to Ms. from Universal when our car broke down on the interstate. It was close to closing time when I got the car towed in. Michael was up front and honest. Although they were extremely busy they were able to get us back on the road by the next afternoon. Words cannot express how grateful I am of Michael and Zackery.
Pepboys. Well I can say pathetic. Quoted 450. To fix brakes. Well they did the job but when done apparently did not see that the fluid cable was leaking.So I had very poor brakes. I contacted them twice to see if they could fix it they did not have the time and wanted me to wait another week. For them to fix. Use at own risk.After two months I finally had them fix brakes regarding the leaking cable, cost me a further 303. Dollars so in total over 750 to fix brakes. Never again.

We were traveling through Crestview on holiday weekend. Had flat tire and discovered that spare donut was also flat. Spent night in local hotel and called Pep Boys first thing on Sunday morning. Michael was great setting appointment for time after we could have vehicle towed there. We arrived an hour early and he was able to take car in right away.. They had a new tire on and spare fixed, checked other tires air and had us on our way in less than hour. So appreciative of their fast service and help. Thanks so much!!
After being told it should be no problem to reimburse me for my stater they messed up due to being lazy and using a impact on things they shouldn’t and stopping in 3 times and watching the manager (josh) leave every time I pulled in I finally got called back saying they can’t reimburse me for the part they messed up because I didn’t pay to have it towed to their shop witch would be more than the part and labor it’s self! I definitely advise everyone to avoid going here!!
The place had my car for 2 days just for a 1 hour diagnostic text. I called both days and finally got fed up and asked to speak with a manager. Turns out as soon as I spoke with him they had the results, and couldnt assist me with the problem. I had told them from day one that I was on a time crunch due to limited warranty. They had no respect for me or the time value of the situation. Thanks to this location i returned my dream car because i didnt have time to take it to another shop. Instead of telling me this upfront they had initially assured me it would be done the very next morning. Do not recommend them!
Very friendly and straightforward service. Prices are competitive. High volume/turnover does make Pepboys feel a bit like the Wal-Mart of car shops, but occasionally you do get that one employee who makes you feel less like a number. ❤
My daughter made an appointment for an 8:00AM slot to have her oil changed and tires rotated. She dropped her car off 15 minutes early. She is set to move to Kentucky today and needed her car back by 10AM so she could get the 12 hour drive going. I have called 3 times asking when her car is going to be completed with the assurance that it won’t be much longer! It is now 4:40PM And her car is still not done! Ridiculous!Edit..... 1 Star for bad time management and no tire rotation., 5 stars for comping our bill. Michael was very nice to do this.
They were very nice was trying to get me done in a timely manner. Only downfall was my tire almost fell off while I was driving down the road they did not tighten the lug nuts very well but they did work hard and they did try Ill get in that much

I normally go to Toyota, but being pep boys is around the corner from my house and they had a coupon decided to get my brakes serviced there, was called back and was told I needed new rotors, they were not able to resurface them because they were damaged.. Which made my price jump a whole $200. I asked if they could send me a picture of my rotors. Never did. So I went up there and got my car. my car was never moved nor was my seat moved so my opinion it was never looked at, said I was going to get a second opinion. I took my car to Toyota, and they said I didnt need rotors at all, my car is to new to already need rotors. It just passes me off that they would lie to me, or stereotype me because of being a female and think they could get over on me. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. And shame on them for trying to get over on me cause word of mouth is more than just marketing.
Took my car there for transmission flush, wheel alignment and oil change. Had to have specialty transmission fluid, they got it for me in a day. Got my car in to them Monday morning and they were done by 10:30! Extremely polite and easy to talk to. As a female who dreads taking my car in for maintenance, these guys are top notch, NOT condescending and honest. They automatically apply discounts to services that were available. I will definitely be going back to them!
Great people working here, but the prices are just a little steep. Not egregious but enough to make me feel like I could have saved 10-15% elsewhere. But the employees were honest, upfront, courteous, and they got the job done.

Do not bother using the web appointment option. It will not be honored. A phone call was made just an hour before my appointment when I was in a poor service area. I did not receive the voicemail until I had already traveled the 45 it takes to get there. They refused to honor my appointment. Pep Boys will never get my business again.
So I read the reviews and see how it only takes ten min to do a tire. Thats great!! thats what it should be. So when you have someone come ask if you can put their tires on so it doesnt blow going to work but say no because your playing catch up whith one car in the bay and everyone i seen just chillin.. 👎 i know now where not to go!! I should have known not to go there to begin with but eh I tried..
I brought four new tries from Pep Boys I pay over $600.00 less than a month one tire blow out so i went back to get my tired replacement but the manager said i have to pay for a new tired. I said what r u crazy, he said i have to pay $140.00 to replace a tired so i took pictures of my tired n i took my bad tired back since i pay for it. Now Friends r saying that Pep Boys tend to screw Ladies around. In the future i may have to find a different machines pay to much many i dont really have.
Showed up as they opened the doors with fleet vehicle and emergency. Tire had hole that was not repairable and I had to be to work in an hour. Shop manager got me in quickly and got the tire changed out. I made it to work with time to spare.

Business is undersized and understaffed for the number of customers. Made appointment but was refused service.
I dropped a tire and rim off to have it mounted and balanced. They seemed pretty busy and it was late in the day. I told them as long as it was done by noon the next day I would be happy. They called me about two hours later and said it was done. Very happy with the transaction. I will go there again.
Granted I had to take my car back 8 times due to a faulty air compressor But they kept at it and employees were always polite and friendly and they kept working on it until it worked perfectly. It cost them more to fix my car then they made but they remained friendly and helpful. Even had my car towed to them to save me a trip at no charge They are a great group!
Had to make a emergency stop here as we were on vacation and the a/c decided to scrap out on us. They got us right in and diagnosed it very promptly. Unfortunately we had to continue down the road and took it to a different shop that was more expensive so definitely stop in here and give them your business. Great staff and very courteous.

This place did not do well in regards to customer service today. When I first arrived, for my appointment I might add, they did not have the correct information on my reservation, which was made two days ago. The only thing they had correct was my first name. They didnt even know what I was there for, 4 tires. I had to sit more than 40 minutes to get my completed car because they were working on a car that they had parked directly behind me and could not get my car out of the bay. Then, when I went to pay to get out, hopefully, withi 5 minutes of getting the second car removed, I was asked if I wanted an alignment check and if $820 and some change sounded right. I informed him that I was quoted $760 and some change; it took him about a minute to get to the original $761 and some change quote. After more than 10 minutes, one of the men gave me my keys, so that I could finally get out of there. I went looking for my car and it was not in the parking lot of the shop. Instead, I found it by the stop sign, in the grass. I have a fractured knee and use a cane to help me walk and to keep my balance. I had to walk over uneven ground and walk in the street next to the shop to get to my car. They didnt even make it easy for me to get to my car, despite the fact that they knew I was handicapped. I have never been treated this way before, and I am NEVER going back to them!!!

Dropped my car off 1st thing in the morning for a patch. Said it would be ready at noon. They call me ay 4:20 said I need a new tire and I know it can be patched.
I scheduled an appointment for 1600hrs for a tire change on my daughters vehicle. She arrived 15 minutes early only to be told that just because she has an appointment doesnt mean they have a slot for her. Why on earth would you have appointment slots on your website if it doesnt guarantee you service time?!? Very poor customer service. I will not recommend this company to anyone.
I took my car to them for an alternator replacement under aftermarket warranty. They replaced it with remanufactured alternator and I paid more than I thought I should have with the warranty, (shop fees, supplies, rags, etc.) and I could have purchased the alternator and put it in myself for the same rate. However, the transaction went well and my car was running again. So I was happy. About 2 weeks or so later, the alternator went out on my way home at night... In a not so great part of town. I was able to get it to a nearby chain parts store where they tested and confirmed that the alternator was shot. They had a new alternator and tools. So I bought it and installed it in their parking lot in 20 minutes. The next day, I took the defective part to Pep Boys to give them the opportunity to redeem themselves. The manager said I should have called or had my car towed to them. I explained to him that I knew they would have been closed at that hour and I wasnt going to leave my Corvette in a shady part of town, nor have it towed by someone who would more than likely cause body damage to the vehicle. He could tell that I was very disappointed and asked What do you want me to do? I told him that I would like for them to at least reimburse me for the cost of the part that I had to replace. He said he couldnt do it and would have to get authorization from his corporate people. Its been over two months now and I havent heard anything from him or his corporate people. I will never use them again. I will discourage anyone from taking their vehicle there for service or parts. If you are considering taking your vehicle to this place for service, there are better options. These folks will not stand by their products or services. They also will not care about customer service in the event of failure on their behalf. Go elsewhere!Update: 1month later - I received emails from the corporate office after emailing them as requested below. After sending them the invoice, they said they would have the store call me. A few days later, the store called me and said that its against their policy to do reimbursements but theyll submit for a check to be cut and I should have it within a week. Its been over a month now and still nothing. So this has been going on for three months now.
I have a tire that kept leaking air. I went to Pep Boys and they put my spare on it. I then asked them to figure me a price for new tires. He gave me 3 choices. I said my husband has had 3 strokes in one day and I have to drive him to therapy. I asked if this was your wife what would you recommend? He said his sister and his son both had the lower priced tires on their vehicles. They were made by Cooper they just didnt have the name Cooper on the tire. I was treated very good and there is a unlimited life tire rotate and balance on the tires!

Cant get a decent tire balance from these guys on either of my vehicles. Both vehicles went in and came out worse than when they went in. Balancing tires isnt their thing. ..
Engine blew, driving through Crestview. They found a good used one, changed it out had me back on the road in less than a week. $3500.00. I was impressed.

These guys are cutting me deals left and right. prices are reasonable because they allow a rewards program or something like that. So its definitely worth all the money. Cant really complain much (anymore, at least. Definitely shown improvement over the years) I was told that it would take a week for me to get tires but, but then they told me they would be in the next day. Overall, I am pleased. Plus, employees are always doing the most they can or their job, which is really nice to see, because you dont see that a lot in this area. Yaaaaasss.
Brought me car in for multiple services at the close of business on Friday. They began working on my car start of business Saturday. In one day they were able to replace my radiator, do a brake job, oil change, transmission flush, replace cv axle assembly, and replace the heater/a.c. control switch. They called throughout the day to let me know what was completed and what the cost was going to be. They were courteous and very professional. They did a great job on my car and their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend the Crestview Pep Boys and they will definitely have my business in the future.
Amazing service!!!! I was out of town visiting family, and unfortunately my coolant started to leak. Knowing what I needed to do to stop it and put on a quick fix (heat core bypass), I bought the part to do so. Unfortunately I didnt have any tools to get the job done. I called PepBoys as soon as they opened as I had to be right back on the road that morning. Josh was extremely kind and told me to bring my car in right away. They accepted the use of the part I bought, fixed it within 30 minutes, and only charged me $50 for labor. This was a HUGE help, as I still had more road trip to take on! Shout out to these boys who were more than helpful to still make the trip doable and great!!
Very comfortable waiting room with plenty of places to sit. You arent jammed into a little room elbow to elbow with a bunch of folks you dont know. Service was timely and fairly priced.
Paid $100 for front end alignment and balancing all four wheels on my Mitsubishi Lancer. Service was performed timely, and there was not an attempt to add extra costly services. I do wish they had made an overall assessment with recommendations for the suspension though, I generally appreciate that.
They were very helpful and even helped me with my tow bill. I will use them again in the future.
I had an issue with making an appointment and being looked over recently. I was not pleased at the time, but I am satisfied with the way that Pep Boy’s management apologized and assured me that they were solving the issues. I am now pleased with the customer service, and will likely return someday.
So I called Pep Boys despite many people telling me not to and got a decent quote from Josh Wich really wasnt that different from other places in town. Got it touch with the towing company to have my car towed up there and it turned out Ill have to wait 2 hours so I called Pep Boys back to let them know and now I get told by some chick working up front that it will be at least 2 days until they can get to it. Now Im understanding why so many people dont recommend this shop, piss poor communication skills..

What started out as a very bad experience, on my commute from Houston to Orlando, was made right by the the guys over here a pep-boys Crest view (store 1533). My alternator belt snapped on me, by 4 miles from their location. I was towed their to get my car diagnosed, after doing so and waiting for hours due, to them been very busy, and short a tec. I was made aware that one of the parts I needed wouldn’t be ready until the next morning. Even though this was the last thing I wanted to here, Chad James, and Chad Hines did ever thing in their power to make the situation better, from taking me to a near by hotel, knocking a lil more off my final bill to help, and even picking me up from Hotel, when my car was ready! So I would like to think These gentlemen as well as the store manager Joshua Stevens, for their professionalism and Customer service! In a special thank you, to Mr. Chad James, cause he did not have to use his personal car, drop me off at hotel and pick me up when my car was ready! Called all the parts stores in Crestwood. AutoZone, Advanced, OReillys, and Pep Boys. Nobody had the lugs I needed, but PepBoys took my number, called me back in about an hour, and had what I needed delivered there. I went and bought them. I dont know about their shop, I do my own work if I can, but great customer service.

Just had oil change plus tire rotation done there today, finished in less than 30 mins, no issues. Scheduled a drop off online what I wanted which made dropping off less than a min, its was great. Not sure for general car repair, but I had no issues with their basic oil change.
I had pep boys put rotors on my truck.looked online at their own websight and saw where they charged me twice as much as the sell them for online.made many appts just to wait two hrs for them to get to me.had allignment done on several occasions and truck pulled to the right just as it did before I took it to them.valled and explained this to them and had to bring it back and wait 4 hrs to get my truck back and it did the same thing.had to bring it back wast half a day and they finally got it right.made me wait every time.not once fast tracking me because I paid my dues waiting already.i now go to creatview tire and wheel.way better service.they get it right the first time everytime and at half the price of pep boys.
I called ahead to see if the store had tires for my Ram 2500, and they told me they had 4 in stock. After waiting an hour and a half, they then told me at the tires weren’t compatible with my truck, and that they had no other tires for me. Completely waste my time.
Dropped car off to get brake pads and rotors done. Was driving my hunting truck the same morning and my window regulator went out and had to drop it off too. They had the car done at 9:46 am and the truck done at 12:08pm. No appointment or anything! They even cut me a break since I had two cars up there at the same time. I was very impressed with their service!
Went to Pep Boys, stood at the counter for 30 seconds while being ignored by two service personnel, left and drove to Crestview Wheel and Tire. There I received great service, bought 4 tire and a wheel alignment. Wont go back to Pep Boys. Will go back to Crestview Wheel and Tire, however!

It was easy, the tow was so cheap remember if your close to a pep boys and need a tow it is the cheapest way, get it pulled to a pep boys, then get ready for a good deal and price to fix your repair.
It is very convienient to have them open on the weekends (its really hard for me to get time off from work). They gave me an estimate for repairs and I scheduled an appointment. They completed the work on time as promised and it cost significantly less than the original estimate. This repair facility will now be my goto place.
Went in with suspension squeaking and they said they would inspect for $20. They lubricated a few area where metal was rubbing and it has not squeaked since. To top it of they waved the $20 and told me to have a great day! Super customer service!

A technician supposedly checked it out, charged him $90.00 and told my son the car needed a clutch package to the tune of $2000.00 (the car is a beater, only worth $1500.00).I told my son to tell them them no thanks we will come get the car. We towed the car to a real mechanic who tells us a clutch master cylinder will fix the problem, $300.00 out the door!I would rather believe the people at at Pep Boys are untrained and ignorant, not greedy and unscrupulous but neither is acceptable!BEWARE RIP OFFS ARE EVERYWHERE!!!
Actually No Stars - My wife took our 2012 Honda Odyssey van with approx. 13,000 miles in for an oil change. The oil change itself was quoted and charged out at $25 which seems standard. In addition to the oil change they presented my wife with the cabin and engine air filters telling her that they are the dirtiest filters they have seen and needed to be changed ASAP. They went as far as to ask her id we live on a dirt road...we dont, it is a ridiculous statement. So including the oil change, we were charged $98.59 for a $25 oil change and changing the 2 filters. The filters sell on line for $16 and $19 each. So for a $25 oil change and $35 in unnecessary parts we were charged an additional $38.59 to install the 2 filters that take about 5 minutes each to install. They took advantage of someone who admittedly does not know too much about cars. I called and spoke with the manager of the service department who helped my wife. He gave me the same song and dance and even claimed to have given my wife a discount of about $10.My advice to any potential customers that might ask my opinion would be to stay away, they convinced my wife that she needed services that were not actually needed and then over charged for them.

Bad parking, says they can do one thing but wont when you arrive. Save your time and go to a place that has decent customer service.
