Rented an apartment for 4 nights while visiting my son who just moved in, the place is very clean, very well maintained, and run by a very friendly staff, my son had 2 maintenance issues with his apartment, notified they staff and they were fixed very promptly, the pool area, workout center and other common areas are very nice and well maintained, the city of Crestview has all the small town charm with plenty of shops and restaurants, the only downside is the rush hour traffic can be rough if you are trying to get to Eglin, or Duke field, the rent is very reasonable so if your just moving to the area I would definitely check this place out.
Excellent location, with good amenities. Friendly staff members. Any maintenance issues taken care of quickly and without fuss. Has a nice pool. Decent price, especially for the area, and military friendly. Would highly recommend.
I really hated to leave this complex. I was given a new travel assignment from my company so I had to leave. I love that they gave me new carpet because the last person had a pet. I was very impressed with how clean my place was when I moved in. I give them a 9.5 out of 10 for the readiness of the apartment. If I were to try and find something for them to improve on it would be them coordinating with maintenance calling and letting me know when he was on his way.
I have lived at Spring Creek over a year and just recently moved out. From Day 1, they were the sweetest to me. I moved to Crestview after a divorce and it was my first time on my own in over 5 years. Kristin, Lisa, and the staff made that transition so easy for me. They welcomed me with open arms and made sure my apartment and needs were always met. They were understanding when COVID hit for residents and really went above and beyond. I will miss this place. The only reason I moved was because we purchased a home closer to work. Go see them if you are looking for a nice affordable place to live. You will love it!-Mel
I recently began renting an apartment here and have loved my experience so far. The staff are attentive, professional, and beautiful. My experience through the signing of the lease was streamlined and pleasant. I have a stellar view of the field between buildings from the patio. My neighbors are friendly and quiet. I am impressed with the flexibility offered to me as far as minor redesigns in the unit. The weather is cold right now, so I have not been able to use the pool, but I am looking forward to it when it warms up. The clubhouse is warm and inviting with a fairly equipped fitness center, relaxing lounge area, practical business center, and free coffee! I do wish the tenants were allowed to operate the trash compactor, but I understand the reasoning. The property is maintained beautifully and a 20-25 min drive to where I work at Eglin AFB. It is close to town yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Spring Creek is exactly what I was looking for and at the right price.
Lived here for the last two plus years. Nice area. Sometime parking is hard but its okay. Sometimes neighbors move out and so do the bugs, but they offer to spray for bugs to prevent them which is a huge plus to me, since were on the ground floor. Everyone is nice and courteous, makes emergency repairs in a timely fashion.** Edit update ***We lived there for four years before moving out. Husband retired from Army, while we lived there they have offered a military discount for us. I made friends with most of the staff there the ladies Lisa and Linda were and always will be amazing. The guys in maintenance rocked ; they kept up with units, kept up with their pool, and they even came and helped install a ceiling for us. For the price, you really really get what you pay for in a community. The only downside literally was the parking for the building I was at but other than that it was awesome ! Loved living there. 10 out of 10 recommend it, especially if youre being stationed here for military or just need a good place to call home.
We loved living here! The complex is convenient to everything. The staff is great - Lisa and Kristen are very friendly. Theres a fenced in dog run that our dogs loved. I walked around the complex with our little one almost every day, I always felt safe. Also kid friendly with a pool and playground that our 8 year enjoyed.
GREAT PLACE TO STAY. We stayed there for a year when we first PCSd to Florida. We only moved to get closer to the base. The staff is amazing m... especially LISA. She always helped us when we need anything and I really appreciated everything she did for my family. 5-Stars !!
Very nice place to live. Any issues we ever had (ours were very minor) were addressed immediately. All of the staff, from maintenance to the front office went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible.
Great apartment complex! Kristen, Lisa, and Linda are a fantastic management team. The maintenance crew are exceptional and professional! A super place to live! I truly enjoy living here!
Not horrible, just make sure you have wasp spray, ask for carpeted floors (fake wood scratches easily and you will be charged), dont be dirty and ask to be in two story apartment on the top floor.Just a few tips to make living here a little more bareable.
Ive lived at Spring Creek for several years and the staff and maintenance has done nothing but go over and beyond for us. The grounds are nice besides people not being responsible and picking up their dog mess but other than that maintenance seems to do a great job. The only two negative things I would say is parking is sometimes hard to find, which indicates that its full here in my opinion, and the gates not working but the staff has informed us that is being worked on. Spring Creek is awesome and I plan to stay for a while unless something comes up in my life!
Roaches. Every where. Even after you sign up for the OPTIONAL monthly pest control (they come in and place little globs of what looks like molasses everywhere) you will still see roaches throughout the apartment. It will take about 3months of consecutive monthly treatments to start to see a difference but you will still have plenty of roaches. Today is Sunday 7/14/19, pest control came in to retreat this pass Wednesday, and i just killed a big a** roach. SEE YELP FOR PICTURES. My first week here, I sat out on the balcony of my apartment and got bit up by fire ants. Oh by the way, I’m currently in a 2nd floor apartment. The condensation from the hot rains mixing with the cold a/c accumulated around a vent by my balcony door and has started to leave spots on the ceiling that look like mold/mildew. Trash area is always piled over with trash. no exaggeration, PILED OVER. Check yelp, the pics are very accurate. Finally, the windows of my apartment specifically, do not close properly. I used to fight to close them but gave up and have just started to leave them about an inch open since it’s a hassle to get them to shut & lock properly. Honestly, the rest of the looks and operations of the complex don’t matter to me if my living space isn’t comfortable or up to par no matter how much I scrub and clean and spray. Never been to the pool because the area is small and is usually filled with kids. No thank you. And rent goes up every year and they try to extend the length of you lease, to live in the same nasty conditions. Would never recommend. Please read and save yourself.
Dog friendly, kid friendly, and people friendly. I had a great time here. Between the kind workers, the great neighbors, and all the community events, every second was a pleasure. Theyre quick to help and very knowledgeable about what they do. They made signing my lease a breeze and explained everything. Theres no better apartment complex in Crestview!
I have lived at Spring Creek Apartments for 6 years and recently moved out due to purchasing a home. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. When i go out of town, which is frequently they would look after my apartment. Anytime i had any maintenance issues they were promptly fixed. The grounds and buildings are well maintained and clean. You can’t ask for a better place to rent in crestview with a friendly accommodating staff.
I lived here for a while. In a 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom. Its so lovely here. The staff is great & the residents are all so friendly and respectful. Great place to live overall.
I have perfect memory for verbatim. If you say something to me I can repeat word for word what you said so as soon as you say you said something that you didnt Im done with you. All my bids come with a fifty percent down payment. I was told that they didnt like to pay down payments on anything under two thousand dollars and that I would get paid in full after the job was down. They had me bid a few different thing and excepted two of them right of the bat. I installed the fence and ordered the doors. I finish the fence on Wednesday and turned in my invoice. On Monday when I contacted them about getting paid I was informed that they are one sixty day pay period also that I was informed of this when it took the jobs. As you can guess this was never discussed because if anyone ever said something like that to me I wouldnt have done the work. No business waits sixty days to get paid unless theyre a contracted company ie your lawn care service or pool service. Not single job subcontractors. Thankfully I didnt install the doors or I would be out another six hundred dollars. I will make sure that all the people I know that does this kind of work stays away from them. Also ever bad review of this place says the have a bug problem so you might want to check on that also.
Amazing place to live, the entire staff is amazing and friendly I recommend it 💯 %For a family is safe and secure all the time my, kids enjoyed living there. The pool and gym is never crowded is perfect.
My husband and I just moved to the area and LOVE the apartments! Our move in process was so smooth. The ladies in the office helped us out so much and saved our lives a couple of times. Moving is stressful especially from a different state. Our apartment is awesome, love the kitchen....my fav!! The pool area is nice and relaxing and the grounds are nicely well kept. So thankful we chose Spring Creek as our new home.
Currently living here and the apartments are really beautiful. It’s a nice large apartment. There is one problem that is pretty serious to me though. The day I moved in the apartment seemed perfect, nothing wrong at all. That first night, I started to notice these small bugs all over my brand new apartment. My apartment was infested with roaches before I moved in. I was never told anything about this. Pest control came in one of the first few days I was there. I have brought up the problem to management and very little has been done. They say that treatment has been done but I still see roaches everyday. I have been loving here for over a month now. This is gross and I’m not living comfortably in my home because of roaches that I haven’t caused. I can’t even have visitors because it’s so disgusting. Haven’t gotten anything in return for my suffering. No one should have to deal with this.
Lived there for over a year, the best apartment complex I have lived in. The management staff is amazing, very friendly, and easy to work with, apartments are very nice and well maintained. The location is very secure. The maintenance team takes a lot of pride in the property and it shows in the job that they do. If I ever move back to Crestview Fl. I will be back there.
Where do I even begin...The apartments itself is cheap, yet you are paying all this money for them... (actually you’re paying all this money for the renovations they did for the common area and pool)The carpet is beyond cheap, won’t even last a week. The blinds are the cheapest kind that you can find at Lowe’s (however you’ll have to pay to replace them individually when you move out and you can’t go through Lowe’s). The kitchen has no pantry, like come on not even in a three bedroom apartment? Nope. Oh & let me not forget that you can hear almost everything your neighbors are doing.Apartment complex... well there’s fire ants EVERYWHERE !!! Parking can be scarce, trash is always over flowing, the gate never works (talk about security)Neighbors.... well if you have kids folks.... try to stay on the first floor because you will ALWAYS have someone complain about your kids or even you walking around. Oh and don’t have a bass or music too loud because they’ll call the cops on you (in my experience even though the police even said it’s not loud)Management.... is so unorganized. No communication whatsoever & there always seems to be something “wrong with the system” and loss of paperwork.Oh & just a tip.... if you are renting pay with a check to avoid the $40 one time payment and the $20 automatic payment processing fee that the system has.... after all you are paying a lot of money to stay here when you can find a house more suitable and less expensive & rent goes up every year.
Overall a mostly negative experience at this apartment. Parking is always bad, trash is always overflowing at the dumpster, and the walls are paper thin. They call this a gated apartment complex, but the gate only covers the road and not the surrounding area around the apartment. So even if the gate was closed, a person could park at the front office and walk back to any apartment they chose. I found this gate silly. Eventually, it either broke down or Spring Creek shut it off because it wasn’t working for the last 2 years I stayed here. I found the front desk staff to be mostly rude and unhelpful in my nearly 3 year stay there. I had many bad conversations with them from my bill, getting things fixed, etc. Linda is the only one that is professional, the other 2 are not. One of my bigger issues was a noise complaint I had with my upstairs neighbor. This issue lasted for a year and a half. I complained countless times about this and they “claimed” they would talk to the person, but regardless the noise continued. I wrote letters to them and to PEM real estate who is over Spring Creek and regardless, the noise continued. The last few times I called about the issue Lisa and Kristen got very rude with me. They made it seem like something was wrong with me, that I couldn’t deal with normal apartment noise. THIS WAS NOT NORMAL APARTMENT NOISE. It was constant from the time I got home around 4 till 6 the next morning when the person left for work. NON-STOP. When I had company come over they also found the noise distracting and unwelcoming. Lo and behold I move out to a new apartment and I barely hear my upstairs neighbor and haven’t had a single noise issue. Spring Creek staff should’ve dealt with this issue not let it linger on for a year and a half. In addition to this they lied to me and said the person would be moving out, but several months later the person was still up there making noise from the afternoon to early morning. The look of the apartment complex itself is nice. Unfortunately the staff made my experience living here very negative. I do not recommend these apartments at all because of the staff.
Apartments need water sprinklers that work. Grass and landscaping is dieing. Please clean the pool area and garbage area each day, morning and evening. Access for renters to compact the garbage might help.Fire ants are such a nuisance. We love living here, but we would like for the place to look nice.
My fiancé and I lived at Spring Creek for a year July 2018 to just recently, when we first moved in we were so excited because it was our first place as young adults. I’m a very clean person, I keep everything as clean as possible even when I’m in a crunch. So I was confused on why we always got bugs in our cabinets and in the bathroom but that was no big deal, they came and “sprayed” once and everything was good for a little while. We also had wasps and yellow jacket infestation on our patio which we were told to spray ourselves & we did. They continued to renest and one even got in our bed and stung me while I was asleep. The pool is cloudy way too often and theres always dog poop everywhere. My fiancé would always help with the trash at the compacter because it was ALWAYS overflowing which is ridiculous because the office is open all day but apparently people are incapable of pressing a button that does all of the work. There was never anywhere to park, I always had to park a good 3 minute walk (which is no big deal) but when you get off work and work 12 hr shifts at a hospital it’s a little annoying. Now the apartment itself was okay until we realized how cheap the cabinets were and how our icemaker never worked, even after we asked them to fix it. Our tub was cleaner when we moved out than it was when we moved in. We got all of the doggy pee stains out of the carpet but it was just on the carpet by the front door where it had sunk through and they charged us $700 to replace ALL of the carpet in a tiny one bedroom apartment and our apartment didn’t smell of dog pee AT ALL. Not to mention $110 for blinds that had one bent (not even broken) piece in our bedroom and You can buy them anywhere for $30. Its funny how they basically charged us our entire rent in fees when we moved out, and i’m assuming it’s because they had no one to occupy it. Don’t move if you have dogs because they charge you $300 per animal, which doesn’t cover any doggy damages!! (:**Also our electric bill was always around $150 and we turned our ac up during the day when we were gone and reduced dryer usage**Our windows would not close all the way
My buddy and I recently moved out and I’ll start by saying this, Kristen and the entire staff are disgusting, manipulative, greedy, lying donkeys. They are the ugliest people you will meet no matter how “helpful” they are in the beginning to take your money. I’ve rented nearly my entire life and I’ve only had issues with 2 places and this one being one of them and the absolute worst. The apartments are cheap and not worth the money. When it rains the water comes under the walls inside the laundry room. Which they tried to fine us for. The blinds are the cheapest of cheap just look up the item number and you can find their price easily but they will charge you 4x’s as much. The carpet started coming up a month after we moved in. They also cancelled the cable that was included and increased the rent. Fire ants everywhere. I could never use the facilities because of Kristen’s friends always using the clubhouse either for some desperate military wife get together or a public dance class or their kids running around being a bigger annoyance than all the fire ants and dog poop. We actually tried to leave sooner since I had orders but Lisa or Kristen wouldnt accept them and told me I would have to still pay the remainder of the rent and I talked to JAG on base and they are breaking federal laws. But we only had a few months left so instead of making a huge thing about it I made it to where I could stay until the lease was up. After we moved out I received an invoice of ridiculous fees and charges like water damage from the poorly built apartment, light bulbs, stove underpans, carpet, blinds, paint, and more totaling over 3k. I will not pay them anything. I’ll live in the barricks for all I care I’m not paying anything to them. The money won’t go to actually fixing any of the problems because if it did it would have been fixed when I complained about them. And then they won’t be able to make money off the next tenants. I’m pretty sure they pocket a lot of these “fines” they charge. I would never move back or recommend them to anyone. The management needs to be fired and the buildings need someone to come through and fix the money making problems in order to run a respectable and honest establishment.
I spent 1.5 years here, this is the 4th apartment building i have lived in, in my lifeThis is by far the most greedy apartment building i have ever stayed at.Building is cheep on the inside, gate never works for the front gate.Dog poop everywhere, seriously why is that not enforced? pick up your dog poop, enforce that! trash is in a compactor but is always over flowing there is seriously never a day that goes by where the trash isnt over flowing. the appliances/ cabinets havent been fixed just Jerry rigged. seriously my refrigerator was still leaking all way the way till the day i moved out, something to do with the ice i guess, thats what the maint guy said, its still leaking my wife and i had it looked at/ fixed 4 times and it still leaks Staff seems nice, but super fake... like just be a human seriously super super fake. . Back to the greedy part, i completed a full 12 month lease once the lease was over they wanted me to either sign a 3 month, 6 month or 12 month lease all where my rent went up by over 150 dollars, i already pay 1200+ for a 3 bedroom, upon moving out, it doesnt matter how clean the apartment is, there is gonna be fees for every single thing, even if you finish your lease expect to not get all of your deposit back there will be at least 300-450 in fees. also the carpet is is so trash like super cheap and it doesnt matter how much you clean, your carpet can look brand new they still charge you 100 dollars no matter what to have them cleaned again. the blinds are literally 12 dollars at lowes i literally looked at the exact product number and matched it to my blinds and they charged me 35 dollars and 50 dollars. Lets move to military, if you are military you get a slight discount but dont do it for what ever reason if you break lease you have to pay the remainder of the leases discount. not really a discount then.recap, area always has overflowing with trash, dog poop literally everywhere, cheep appliances, and cheep building cabinets, terrible staff (except lisa or linda or whatever) and they charge way too much and your rent will go up each year no matter if you sign the same lease or not.1 star!!! i do not recommend for military, go to bel air terrace, at least you know what you are getting into there and they dont try to steal all your money just because you wanna move.
This review is based on my experience dealing with a fire (not my fault) that occured at my apartment complex and the residual effects of that fire. Back in early 2016, I was living on the first floor of the 7000 building and one night as Im coming home from work I get a call that there was a fire on the third floor of the complex. As a result, the sprinkler systems had gone off and caused flooding in my apartment. Thankfully it was localized to the kitchen. However, I was forced out of my apartment for an entire week so that industrial fans could dry out the apartment. The fans were plugged into outlets in my apartment using my energy. I was not given any prorated rent for my time spent out of my apartment and just today I recieved a phone call from Kristen, the manager, saying my check had finally come in, to compensate for my powerbill. Its been almost a year and a half and I am just now recieving a check that was to cover a portion of a power bill from over a year ago?! Absolutely ridiculous.Afterwards, the people who started the fire on the third floor moved into the second floor apartment above me. They had dogs that they would live out on their patio and would defecate and would fall down onto my patio. Not only that, when they did take their dogs out, they would let them go right in front of my apartment without cleaning it up. I had to report them multiple times to the front desk before any action was taken. I also under the impression that residents were rewarded for reporting people who didnt clean up after their dogs. Did I see any money from reporting them? Nope :)The way this whole incident was handled made me feel very uncared for and disrespected. I would never recommend anybody rent from here, just from how everything was handled and how I was treated.Joshua Jadin
My advice:Look on yelp.
We called before the end of the business day and it is over 90 degrees outside but they would not get anyone to come repair the a/c. We have to wait til the next business day.
