On two separate loads Mega Corp has found a way OUT of paying detention time, in the same week non the less. They tend to string you along “while waiting for approval”, which eventually turns into, “0h, sorry”, it wasn’t approved. Seven hours waiting to get loaded, six hours to get unloaded. They honestly do not care about the humans behind the wheel. They want to boost about how much more you are getting paid now, however fail to understand the cost of fuel, washouts, everything else has gone up. If you do business with them, it’s become clear to us that you MUST negotiate detention and confirm it on the Rate Confirmation before your wheels turn.

I had the chance to visit KY location in 2020. It was awesome to finally put a face to the names. Glad to have had the opportunity to be able to be employed at MegaCorp! Great culture and we are all one big family. A+ 5 Star in my books #MEGA#WAY

As an O/O I wouldn’t recommend mega. Done 3 loads for them. Last to loads were ridiculous loading/unloading times and they’re not gonna give you detention. Had to threaten taking to cold storage before anything happened on this last load

Called Bret Yenser to book a load. He advised me that I was not set up and would need to do a set up packet (I was set up since 2019, a member from the carrier team confirmed it). After filling out a new packet and waiting for nearly two hours to hear back, I was sent the wrong confirmation. I called to discuss the issue and another broker Casey advised me that THAT SPECIFIC load is non existent. I emailed Bret for further clarification and he advised me that he gave this load away to somebody else.Very unprofessional, from the lying to giving the load away to a different carrier. I dont do business like this. Will not work with this company moving forward.

This broker should run a school to teach cheating…..more than once they said something different than what they actually did…to get the load picked up they would keep on saying “yes, we will pay the detention “ but after a 16 hours wait at the loading spot….their script changes as soon as you tell them that you are loaded …..: my suggestion if taking load for megacorp….add $300-400 for detention in the load rate

Stay away from MegacorpWe did two loads for them last week, both came out from the same shipper in Chicago, one went to TX and the other to AL. Broker never mentioned the 8-10 delay at the receiver and when driver got there we were surprised with that, broker promised to pay $50 an hour detention for driver, after over 13 hours at the receiver trailer was released and one pallet was rejected by receiver, broker kept stalling on the status of the return pallet and we had to wait two days to finally informed by the broker to dispose of the pallet, no detention for driver, no layover or usage charges for trailer.Now you are informed carriers and we are not the only carrier that got scammed by Megacorp, read the other reviews here and on DAT loadboard as well, please stay away from Megacorp, there are plenty of good brokers to do business with other than Megacorp!

Do not do business with Megacorp Logistics. Their employees are dishonest, apathetic and unprofessional. We booked a load from Decatur, AL to Madison, WI that was originally booked with a 1300 loading appt. Our driver was available earlier, so we inquired about an earlier appt. They said we could move up to a 0900 appt which worked perfectly. The driver arrived at 0900 and was told that the appt was never changed. The driver was finally loaded at 1730. Throughout the day, the people at Megacorp could not have cared less that our driver sat all day burning his valuable time. When the load was delivered (on-time even with the delay), Megacorp sent us $100 for detention even though we were owed for 6.5 hours (usually at $40-$50 per hour). When we asked how they justified their pathetic compensation, they didnt like our tone and said that is all they are offering. They do not care about carriers and drivers, so do not give this terrible company your business or your trucks.***Update- I did speak with Megacorps Carrier Services about this situation. They did offer to pay an extra $100 of detention. While this amount does help, it still very much shows that they do not value a drivers time. Also, it really should not take this much effort on our part to try to get compensation for a situation like this. We will stand by our decision to not do further business with Megacorp.

DON’T get loads from them. Their conduct is not professional.After receiving a rate confirmation, driving more than 100 miles to the pick up location and waiting 3 hours to get loaded, the broker (Joshua) cancelled the load. When I was about to leave, another truck got the load that I was supposed to receive (most likely the broker quickly found someone who can carry the load for cheaper and decided to dump me). I and my co-driver lost a day for this load, while the overhead costs (fuel, trailer, truck weekly payments) are on us, aside from feeding our families. To my request of detention pay for me and my driver, the broker (Joshua) refused to make any kind of compensation for our lost time and overhead costs.

They cancel loads when you already got the pickup location. And never pay layover, Tonu or detention. Dont work with this broker!!!

The driver was waiting for more than 10 hours at the shipperand they are not paying detention - layover, the excuse was is just TYSON facility and is FCFS facility and that he paid me good money for the load (nobody forced him:) I needed to send 10 emails in order for them to reply - bad communicationI will never book a load with John LeblancNOT professional and just full of lies.

Was the first caller on charlotte to ocala florida, broker took his time telling me about the load only to finish saying AND ITS COVERED. How deliberately UNPROFESSIONAL and plain miserable experience and thats after i hauled for you people, why waste my time if your going to give to someone else? 1 star! Pathetic, and infact i will Tear Contract over this, emailing the termination of contract to Customer service department!!!!!

I have worked with Scotty Chable out of Covington office as a customerfor several; years now. Their service level has been great as well as follow through. The real test has been when there are snags that happen quite a bitin this business and their ability to problem solve together for a positive outcome has been great. Definitely a pleasure to work with!

Carriers beware !!! Booked load with them @ 8am got the confirmation @ 9am (waiting on insurance verification they claim). They cancelled the load while driver was en route claiming he didnt pick up the phone (keep in mind driver is DRIVING(hence couldnt pick up the phone right away) and they are tracking him with Macropoint ). I was in touch with them constantly. The worst part is they cancelled ONLY after they found another carrier to do the load and my guy had driven 80 miles with his semi and was almost @ the shipper.

All the five stars have to be from employees. These ppl are not professional. They will call you over and over during your break. I should have started my break over and made the load late. But Im better than that. They will not provide you with correct p.o. numbers if it wasnt for a guard at my delivery working with me to get checked in I might not have gotten unloaded, because they couldnt give me the right info. Avoid these ppl. I will never run another load for them.

Its all about the trust, If i book a load now i believe 100% they will give that load to Someone else this is my experience for the last four bookings, The other problem they have is it will take one to two hours to know the load is not yours, Very bad.

This company is unprofessional. I booked a load with Ciles and worked on the package for 20 minutes, when the package was ready he send me an email saying that they are going to use a carrier that they are sep up already with. Very unrespectful
