They had all the equipment I needed to workout, the staff was extremely friendly, and they keep the gym very clean. I will definitely be going back!

The Lords gym is a mens ministry dedicated to helping men rediscover themselves and redefine how they can function in society, personal relationships, and life skills development. Most men that come through our doors are looking for not only a physical change but a spiritual one as well. We are one of many barriers between one more act of domestic violence against society as a whole.

Lords Gym is an outreach for the homeless run by Pastor James Duncan. Pastor James provides a warm, dry, safe and loving environment for everyone who walks through the door Monday through Friday 8am-430pm.The Lords Gym supports the homeless and the needy in Covington. They provide a stable Christian environment with hot food and hot coffee throughout the day, a Job Center, a gym, Christian music, Bible Study and Bible Trivia, Friday night Outreach, as well as friendship and fellowship.At 9am and 12pm he offers Bible Study to anyone who wants to participate. Participation in not required but anyone who does not wish to join the Bible Study must be respectful and not talk during Bible Study. Pastor James is a laid back kind of guy but hes serious about the rules during Bible Study.The coffee pot is always on and refrigerator is always full by the Goodness and Grace of God. Everyone is welcome to eat as much as they want. On the extremely rare occasions when the refrigerator is empty God always miraculously provides. Ive been present for the miracle twice. Pastor James told everyone there wasnt going to be any food that day and why. Just a few minutes later a man walked in with bags and bags of McDonaldscto feed everyone. No one called this man and he didnt know anything about the empty refrigerator. He didnt even know anything about Lords Gym. He bought the food to feed people and chose Lords Gym randomly. When he stopped and parked he didnt know anything about Lords Gym or that the place was packed full with hungry men and women who were looking forward to eating lunch but had been told that there wasnt going to bw any food that day just minutes earlier. When Pastor James saw all the McDonalds food he offered a prayer thanking God for the food and said he wasnt at surprised anymore when things like this happen. He said all of the food and coffee offered at the Gym is provided in the same miraculous way.Pastor James shows everyone who comes through the door the love of Christ. He cares, hes concerned, hes understanding, hes supportive and always willing to help in any way he can but only if you want help. Hes never pushy, nosey or intrusive but always ready to listen if you want to talk. Hes a wonderful friend, teacher, and role model. By his words and actions you can tell he lives his life as if he is continuously asking himself What Would Jesus Do?

Its perfect to enjoy bible study and refresh food. Also to lifting weight and practice boxing.
