It’s closed down!! I went to the place and the door is open. The inside is empty. And nothing on the website tells me about it. I paid 35 bucks for a trial session, now I probably can’t even get the money back.UPDATE: Nevermind they moved lol ( Google seriously needs to update the address on time bruh). The new address is on their website!
Chuck! Chuck is the deciding factor in coming to this facility. His teaching style is akin to a wellspring of useful information, hope, and technique. In one hour, so much was learned about boxing, my head was reeling. Get yourself in there and take lessons. See you there.
I was traveling for business from the East Coast and needed an opportunity to get some exercise and try something new! I had never tried boxing before and came across Classic Boxing Coach. What an amazing day!Within the first five minutes I was hooked! Classic boxing coach’s trainers really bring you in and help you focus and make you feel comfortable trying a new sport like boxing. The gym is very simple which also makes it easy to work in a team or work individually. I can also tell that the season boxers that I saw in the gym we’re getting an experience of a lifetime!I was able to participate in several of the group boxing classes and all of the students raved about this gym and were willing to help me get to their level as quickly as possible.I would highly recommend being a part of this experience for either someone like myself who is traveling through or for anyone that is in the area and looking for a true boxing experience at it’s finest extent.
Comparing a Title boxing gym to Classic Boxing Coach is like comparing McDonalds to In-n-Out.The coaches at CBC know what theyre doing and they all have something of value to bring to the table. I see young children in there all the time having the time of their lives. They play whilst learning fundamental skills. You have to check it out for yourself. Schedule a trial session and youll see what I mean.
I began going to Classic Boxing Coach two months ago, and Ive been loving it ever since! I had no experience with boxing prior to joining and unsure of what to expect. I was worried that the training would be too demanding and stressful to fit into my busy schedule. However, these concerns were quickly dashed when I started the program. The staff at Classic Boxing Coach are encouraging, knowledgeable, and accommodating; they make it easy and fun to train at the gym. This isnt to say that the training is light. The coaches here make you work hard in and out of the sessions. They expect you to put in effort every day, but they also make sure you have fun while you do it. I take semi-private boxing sessions, and yet I find myself always receiving unique training specific to my needs at each session. They take time to listen to my questions and give me advice on both boxing technique and fitness training. And it works! Ive lost 10 lb since I started (and I wasnt in bad shape to begin with!)Ive been loving the program here at Classic Boxing Coach. Im in the best shape of my life and boxing is becoming one of my biggest passions. Its a great time, and I dont plan to stop any time soon.
Chuck is the best coach ever ! I wanted to get into boxing for a long time and as a beginner, Chucks training prepares me both mentally and physically. He is precise, knowledgeable, motivating, enthusiastic, and just an excellent coach/person. The training sessions are fabulous because Chuck gives excellent instructions and guides you every step towards the goal. The work outs are intense but at the same time they are fulfilling. Chuck not only provides great knowledge to the sports of boxing, he also has great understanding about nutrition, weight-loss, and how the body works. When I told Chuck I wanted to lose weight, he asked me to write him a diary of what I eat. After going over my diary, Chuck wrote me a three-page long essay documenting all the things I can do to help enhance my health. That speaks a lot about Chuck because he doesnt see you as a client but see you as a friend and he wants you to succeed. I have lost 10 pounds since I started a month and half ago. What made Chucks Classic Boxing stands out from all the other gyms is definitely the atmosphere. Its a family here. The people at the gym are friendly and Chuck made everyone interact so well.I now see Chuck not only as my coach but as a very good friend of mine. I will definitely recommend Classic Boxing to anyone who is interested in Boxing or just wants to get healthy. Chuck is the man !
This place has such a friendly environment. No one here is trying to prove anything, just quality men and women learning some boxing.Chuck is a great coach. He definitely has this broken down to a science. I believe this guy could write a school text book on boxing. Its mind blowing that he has so much technique to teach, and when he teaches it is so clear and easy to understand. Ive been to a few other gyms in the area but Im most satisfied with this one.
Chuck is a great coach and a fun guy to train with. I would suggest Classic Boxing both for folks looking for an intense workout and those interested in getting in the ring. Try out the trial class - you wont regret it.
I have been to 2 different boxing gyms in the past 3 years and this is is by far the most technical and professional one.The guys are really passionate about boxing,And that’s key for proper enjoyable training.
Ive boxed competitively with 4 different coaches. Chuck has been the best coach so far. It seemed easier to make improvements and advance in the sport with Chuck because of his technical expertise and care in tailoring a program that suited me.He also has high service standards.
I cant say enough positive things about Classic boxing. I have been to other gyms in the past where you would work with a trainer on different skills. The majority of the previous gyms I would be shown how to throw a jab, and then was told to work on that for 3 weeks etc. With Chuck he takes you through a very systematic program. Each skill is practiced and then built on. I have only been with him for 6 months and I cannot believe the amount I have learned, as well as the changes to my body. I am very comfortable in the ring, and am starting to realize my own style, which Chuck is helping me build. I would recommend Classic boxing to any family member or friend.
Chuck is a fantastic coach! I have had a great experience at this gym, from learning the technical aspects to getting a good workout you cant go wrong here. Definitely recommend to anyone interested in boxing, novice or expert.
Chuck is an incredible coach. Hes present, clear, fun, and leaves me feeling like a solid foundation to work with and fundamentals to practice during the week. He gets me absolutely smoked in my muscles that I did not even realize had to do with boxing!I can honestly tell my friends and family about Classic Boxing with enthusiasm to sign up because Chuck is the real deal! And dont worry about sparring (unless that is where you want to go >KaPow).
I cannot speak highly enough of Classic Boxing Coach. It begins with the atmosphere; the overall vibe of the gym is absolutely perfect for a great workout and to build upon my skills. Then there’s Chuck! I have the utmost respect for this man. He is intelligent, knows his craft and what he’s doing and is incredibly patient in explaining tactics. I have been boxing for about a year and have learned more in the 2-3 month here than anywhere else I have been. I recommend him to everyone and cannot speak any more highly of this Gym.
I trained with Coach Chuck for 3 weeks while traveling on business in Costa Mesa. Having boxed recreationally for many years, I have trained with coaches in many different cities, including trainers of world champions and US Olympic team coaches. Chuck is the real thing: he has excellent technique, and a deep knowledge of the mechanics and strategies of boxing. He helped me with my footwork, and set a challenging pace that kept me striving and improving my technique. He is an excellent mitt holder, and a very nice, intelligent man. He was always respectful and never condescending, which I especially appreciate, since as a middle-aged woman, I sometimes encounter coaches with pre-conceptions about my abilities and potential. I believe I can keep growing as a boxer, and Chuck helped me to do that. The workouts were always well- structured, but not rigid.I would recommend Chuck as a coach to people at any level, including beginners, who want to learn to do it right!
I started boxing lessons with Chuck about 8 months ago. With no prior boxing or martial arts experience, I had no idea what to expect when walking into a boxing gym. I started my search online, looking at reviews and prices. Luckily, I decided to try out Classic Boxing Coach and struck gold.Although not fancy or over-the-top, the gym has all the equipment one would need (at least from what I can tell). Its never too crowded but also never lacks energy. All of the other trainers and members that I have met have been warm and welcoming, always willing to chat or share a funny story. When walking into a boxing gym for the first time ever, I expected an intimidating, intense, and cold competitive environment; yet this gym offers a hard-training atmosphere with only positive vibes and good spirits.Chuck is an amazing trainer. I think the best thing about his training is his positive and energetic attitude. He is one of those people who is always present in the moment. He puts his focus and attention onto whomever he is training. He brings in the perfect blend of mental and physical toughness. Chuck explains the sport both philosophically and technically, while still putting the athlete through hard physical workouts. The training experience at Classic Boxing Coach comes with a great balance between training and fighting. There is enough sparring to create excitement and anxiety (if one chooses to spar), but not so much that each week is an all-out fierce battle with other members.Overall, Ive had an incredible experience so far at this gym. Ive learned the technical aspects of boxing, had great and grueling workouts, and had some good battles in the ring. Chuck is a great coach and an even better person. He always puts the clients first. I highly recommend this gym for anyone thinking about starting boxing or switching gyms.
Great Instructor! If you want to learn the techniques of boxing, this is the instructor. Been with Chuck since July and contract up every 6 months. Hell analyze your moves and work those areas that are lacking. Learned that boxing is a very technique oriented sport. Getting the body to apply those techniques is the goal, but it is harder than it looks. When sparring, he emphasizes both offensive and defensive movements so that you become comfortable and relaxed. Its not an all out brawl.Try it out...great work out plus youll learn how to defend yourself.
Had to get a refund. The facility is not kid friendly, not welcoming. Chuck told me to bring my kid somewhere else, and to bring him back when hes less inspired. Never would recommend this place
Best boxing coach and gym on the planet!!!!!!
This is a great place to learn boxing. I like the facility, it has all the necessary equipment.Coach Chuck is awesome. He is sociable, professional and excellent. Their training style is very logical and different for every student.
If you want to master the art of boxing, Classic Boxing Coach is the place for you! I have been able to train with Chuck and Morgan, and I must say that their teaching method is excellent, fluid and intuitive. Both coaches would be able to get everyone excited about boxing. The lessons are strongly focused on the technical aspect, and at each session you can be sure of learning something more, as well as consolidating what was learned previously (in addition to burning so many calories!). Each workout is in fact calibrated based on your needs. You are constantly followed carefully, and the coaches are always available to clarify any doubts you may have about the concepts taught, and at the same time provide new ideas for improvement. In my opinion the most innovative and exciting aspect of this boxing program is how the techniques are broken down into the smallest details, to then be linked together in an organic way, highlighting the common thread that links the simplest to the most complex moves.I am always impatient for the next lesson to arrive, I feel I am improving every time and I find it stimulating to be surrounded by people like me who want to learn and have fun at the same time!
Chuck is the best coach I have ever encountered since I learned to punch for so many years! After graduating from high school, I started to engage in martial arts. I started to learn Sanda, and my sophomore began to focus on boxing.I changed a few coaches, and even I had a summer training with the body-building boxing team. The more I became more and more boring, I started to slowly practice. But after arriving in the United States, I felt that I should continue my interest in my life. I googled a boxing coach and found Chuck. I practiced with him for a whole year and learned something that I had never learned before. Chuck is very rare and A rare coach, he knows my style of play, knows my level and weaknesses, and has designed many combination punches for me, and many strategies on the field - this is very rare! And because I am a pilot, in the process of learning boxing with Chuck, I also learned to relax and calmly and quickly think, this is really helpful for the pilot, I even think this is helpful to anyone!I have felt unprecedented progress this year and I am very happy! It feels like a family with classmates.Recall that most of the coaches I met before hope that students use his style of play, or light punches but no heads, which completely wipes out the fun of boxing and deviates from the meaning of boxing. If you are like me, I really love boxing, but because of some factors, I am looking for Chuck. He will help you, and I will be able to pay for my own life.
Several gyms now offer boxing classes, but this was the only one in Orange County that focused not only on conditioning but also on technical training as well. The different and different factors from other places were the cleanliness of the place, the small number of students per class (maximum 4 - great for beginners and intermediate) and the friendly personality of both coaches. It was Chucks charisma and professional manner that sealed my application to this great academy.
When I arrived in California, I started looking for a focused boxing club, not on fitness and cardio, but learning techniques and practicing. Classic Boxing Coach has responded, so far, to my expectations - and more. The coaches, Max, Morgan & Chuck, are excellent. They have their specificities, in their teaching style - this brings a certain freshness to the courses - but share this contagious enthusiasm, this pedagogy and expertise ready to facilitate learning. They are attentive to your progress and communicate with each other, thus maintaining a coherence in the teaching even if you had changed coaches from time to time. They will never hesitate to discuss with you the techniques or even to revisit them, if necessary. The program is simple. The courses last one hour and will evolve over the course of the sessions, ie the first lessons will be about fundamentals - positioning, etc. - and the different moves - how to perform them correctly, manage the space, etc. The latter will then be integrated in combinations, and coupled with defense techniques. The opportunity will quickly arise to implement them in friendly fights against other students. Indeed, the most popular formula of Classic Boxing Coach is the course semi-private.In this formula, prices are not 1 vs. 1 with the coach, but in groups of one to four students for a coach. Sessions are divided between coaching with the coach - up to two - three rounds per session - and practice on sacks or sparring. The advantage of this formula lies in the presence of other students. Their motivation is communicative and often pushes us to give the best of ourselves. They are also excellent advice. Two aspects remain to be mentioned: (i) Classic Boxing Coach requires effort, both in training and out. Coming dilettante does not allow to take full advantage; in addition, (ii) the price of the sessions is not negligible. Nevertheless, investment, both physical and financial, is well worth it.
