Great place. I love all the activities they have in the gym. The restaurant next door is amazing. Great place for family. Beautiful place to relax and get a workout on. Perfect spot to get to walking or driving they have plenty of parking. The people are always friendly. I love this gym

I have never given any business a 1 start review, but unfortunately Coral Gables Athletic Club will be my first. I have been trying to get information on canceling my membership and it has been impossible. It makes no sense that there is apparently only one person that can provide cancelation information, and he/she is never there, now my card has been charged a full month again. I was just considering canceling, now it is a certainty. The reviews on management were no exaggeration, i am very disappointed.Actual gym review:Pros:-Clean-Not too busy in the morningCons:- Monthly price is too high for what you get. ($120 a month).- Small gym, not much equipment. (Again, $120 for a gym this size is high).- No fitness classes before 8AM.

Maui Tacos soooooo fishy tasting, took 1 bite & sent it back. My dinner partner did enjoy the King crab, BUT $87! Over priced for a place that serves anything in plastic containers (fish dip, sour cream etc) and the lack of ambiance dosent support the prices.

Hard to get information; very expensive; value doesn’t match the price; they close at 5PM, kindergarten schedule; and they aren’t flexible. I was expecting much more, especially because it’s located in Coral Gables.

Awful place, poor management, very overpriced, small place, don’t waste your money, there are many better places in Coral Gables .

The instructors Aaron and Adela are awesome! The actual gym itself is going through Renovations so that kind of a drag. However, when the renovations are completed its going to be awesome. Good value for the money. The pool is beautiful but not heated during the winter :-(

Their computer system doesn’t work properly and your contract is showed as expired while you paid for 6 more months. You show the proof of paiement but they don’t let you in. It’s kind of crazy right?Take always your contract with you if you want to have a good time

My husband and I just joined two weeks ago and we love this place. The staff are very friendly, the classes that Ive taken so far were all great-- friendly gym goers that say hello to newbies, encouraging trainers that all look fantastic, very clean facilities and beautiful, refreshing pool. Its a family oriented pool with adorable children and everyone respects the pool lanes, which I love. They have monthly mixers at Cibo nearby. The only downside is that I wish the gym was bigger. Other than that, this is the best gym Ive ever joined (gym is really an understatement, actually).

Be careful if you join. Cons: Non refundable membership, currently under construction with completion that keeps getting pushed out. With the construction, there is very minimal air conditioning, so working out can be unbearably hot. Small rooms that seem packed with only minimal attendance, crowded cycling room with maybe 12 bikes, so class gets full fast. An app that doesn’t always work, been told to call to see if there is availability in classes. Who wants to have to remember to call evey day to schedule classes for the next couple days?Pros: semi-friendly staff and a beautiful pool and locker room.

Nice facility, helpful workers, terrible managers and owners. In two separate occasion Ive seen them treat people very disrespectful. The difference between the two occasions-- one was a big man who screamed and made a big scene (they gave him what he wanted), the other was the opposite, and gave her the run around. Careful with their contract. Gave them two chances, and I wont be making that mistake again. What a pity, it would otherwise be a nice place to work out. helpful advice-- treat guests better when there is a problem-- you will have better word of mouth.

Excelent place for workouts. It is a whole gym and a club as well. You can train and have fun too there

Nice facilities, great classes and good trainers. However the manager should value the limited customers input a little more. There is a wonderful little cafe next door for healthy food choices.

The staff are very nice but beware of the month to month contract! Its no such thing! Canceling costs 75% of the remainder of the contract no matter what the salespeople say.

I cannot speak highly enough of Coral Gables Athletic Club. The coaches and staff are so kind, motivating, and energetic.

Great pool, medium size gym not usually too full, classes.

The facility is small and the limited equipment they have is old and poorly maintained. Over the 6 months I was a member, most of their ellipticals broke down and were simply put out of order. Quality of service from staff is hit or miss. Management is pathetic, bad attitude and no clue or interest in providing good customer service. After my contract expired, they even tried to keep billing my card.

A member for twenty years, I continue to remain so due to the reasonable price and close location.

Facilities are small but decent. Pool and cycling included in membership. The latter seemed high to us so we didnt join.

Small gym, high price, and AWFUL management. I can not stress this enough the manager is very unprofessional and doesnt care about the members safety at all, even removing safety rails on the squat rack.

Well located, good equipment, fits my needs.

The view from the work out area is nice.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Whoever is running things over there needs help.
