Got a oil change 3/14. Upon leaving my truck begin to lose power upon acceleration. Pulled off the road, battery then died shortly after. Wouldn’t turn over even after jumping. Had a mobile repairman out this weekend. truck has never had one mechanic issue in over 5 years of work done to it.Now I have added a Transmission fluid leak due to overfilling fluids at the oil change creating pressure and created an inch long tear to my lines. $500 in damages later...STAY AWAY FROM HERE

I was going on a road trip, so I wanted to get my oil and filter changed because it was due.. along with a drain and fill on my transmission... along with front & rear differential and my spark plugs... they had no problem doing any of this and at a reasonable cost... I noticed a big difference driving on my road trip compared to what it was before I took my car to them... They performed the task in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable price. I’ve gotten work done at Kwik Kar before and they always do a good job, but today I was blown away. Everyone was so kind and courteous. I needed some work done that would take a while, but they said they would make it work for me when I could get off work. They ended up completing the work in almost half the time. I was so grateful!

Rush myself out of work to arrive on time before they close. I arrive @5:13pm and was told they were close, to come back the next day. Website shows they close time is @6pm

Great service, I worked at a Kwik Kar myself, but this one had especially friendly people who still got to the point and were clear about what they were telling you, no BS. Alex was who helped me at first, he could tell I knew at least my way around an engine, so he was able to talk to me at eye-level. He was strikingly approachable (especially taking into account how rude people in the industry can be), and the reason why I wanted to leave this review. The services were done quickly, and they were honest about the amount of time it would take for completion. Professionals all-around.

Just got my oil changed in 15 minutes on a Saturday morning!!! Brianna was very helpful and FAST! She also topped off my windshield washer fluid, cleaned my front and back windows and let me know what fluid flushes I may want to consider in the future. Great service at a reasonable price ($39.99 plus tax).UPDATE 01/17/2020: Shortly after getting my oil changed on 01/4/2020, my front end started rattling whenever I stopped at a stop sign or red light, while in drive mode. I know ZERO about car repairs, so I took my car to a mechanic on 01/06/2020.The mechanic said the rattling could be a loose engine mount but that didnt seem right so I thought to get another opinion. It took me a couple of weeks (due to work) but I finally got a second opinion today. In 5 minutes, the new mechanic said my air filter box wasnt secured. 😳I pulled out my receipt and Kwik Kar had inspected my air filter when they changed my oil but, apparently, hadnt properly secured the box. This feels like a rookie mistake that costed me $24.99 (more than half the cost of the oil change). I can no longer recommend Kwik Kar.

This place is amazing! They have the best prices and service. I first found this place after not wanting to pay an outrageous price for an air filter after getting an oil change somewhere else. I purchased my own air filter, cabin air filter and headlight. They installed the air filter for free and gave me a great price on the other items. I came back to this location again for new brakes, I checked 10 other places and their price was the best and included a lifetime warranty.

Took my car here on Monday morning to get my rotors replaced as the steering wheel started to vibrate while braking. The service was great and to get everything done it didnt take long at all. I work close to this place and I previously had come here on Saturday morning to get my power steering and brake fluids flushed and that was also done quickly with no issues with car afterwards. I really appreciate going to a mechanic getting work done, paying and not having to go back because the work wasnt done right.

I was there to get my oil changed thinking they will do it fast for a reasonable price. They told me that they didn’t have exact fitting oil filter and they ordered it from somewhere else. I waited about an hour for the oil change, at the end they charged me over 100 bucks just because of that oil filter. They are saying it is a special one. I told the the guy that dealership charges around 80 for oil change. When I said that, he wanted me to go and do my oil changes at the dealership for a better price. This is not a good attitude towards your first time customer. Anyways, just wanted to give heads up to those who go there for the first time.

Kwik Kar on Denton Tap has been my go to for all my automotive needs for over ten years. The staff is helpful, friendly and the technicians are knowledgeable. Time and time again they have proven to me that putting my interests over just making a buck on me is important to them. On many occasion they have recommended a less expensive alternative (if there was a feasible one) when it came to repairs done on my old clunker. Believe me, in these trying financial times, this was much appreciated. I would take my car to no one else!

Great experience! They were quick to greet me and assess the issue going on with my car. They were able to fit me in that same day, very vocal about what the issue was and a quote and also gave me a ride to work nearby! Super helpful and would use again.

Service is always prompt for things like state inspections and oil changes. I havent had any mechanical work done here, however it seems they stay busy with that as well, which is a good sign. Ive never been pressured to have any work done either, unlike some places that use an oil change as an excuse to upsell for unneeded repairs.

First and foremost let me start by saying this has been the best experience at a mechanic EVER! Everything was in a professional and courteous manner.I went to this shop ready to have my brakes changed, but the mechanic looked at them and said that my brakes have %40 life in them and do not need to be changed yet. I had a quick break flush and was on my way back to work.These guys are honest trustworthy and seemed to be knowledgeable in a wide auto related specialities. I wont be going anywhere else. I am very pleased with the service!

Great place. Ive been here several times and I am always pleased. Today was exceptional. Went in needing fluids and a brake light (I had just recently gone to Wal-Mart for an oil change, but they couldnt do any of those services). Kwik did that, AND added a screw to fix my lose bumper in 20 mins, and didnt charge me. Beyond impressed! Im going to stop trying new places because customer service is valuable to me.

I’ve been to a lot of Kwik Kars around the DFW area and this is by far the best service I have received. Byron and his team were efficient, friendly and attentive to not just my vehicle, but everyone else’s as well. They were able to answer all of my questions and get me in and out without having to wait a ridiculous amount of time, even with a full waiting room. These guys work excellent together and know what they’re doing! I will definitely be back!

Do not use for major work. They were very friendly and quick when they safety inspected my cars. And they fixed a dead battery quickly and relatively cheaply. I was very pleased. But later when I went with a more complex problem (a mystery leak), they misdiagnosed several repairs--including a major one they chose not to fix because they didnt have the required tools. Fortunately they eventually decided not to do any of those repairs, because the mechanic they sent me to said none of what Kwik Kar said was true--not any of it. Instead he fixed a different, cheap fix and my car is perfect again. Had I let Kwik Kar do the unneeded repairs I would have wasted money and, perhaps, had further, real problems because they were over their heads. So use them for oil changes and inspections, as they are really nice and fast. But go to a mechanic for important repairs.

Dont go to Kwik Kar! I had a coupon for $5 off vehicle inspection, which I needed, so I went there. They misdiagnosed a power steering leak and told me it wouldnt pass inspection without $500 worth of parts and labor to fix that. I had accidently spilled some fluid on that line when I was refilling it the other day and there was a residual drop that made them think it was a leak. They also wanted to nickel and dime me over the center brake light being out when my vehicle still has 4 functioning brake lights. I went to Valvoline and I was in and out in 10 minutes. Then got my registration done at Tom Thumb in a minute flat.

I rarely leave reviews unless its either really good or bad. This place is great, they go above and beyond. The owner is a really nice guy who helped me fix my car for a reasonable cost and answered all questions I had.

I go here often for regular maintenance such as oil changes. It is nice clean and They are Quick. I did notice recently that they are a little over priced for simple things such as an air filter. They wanted to charge me 47.99 for it. I visited another Kwik Kat that charge $20 bucks less.

Nice guys, good service but they dont seem like they know quite what theyre doing. Took in an older model truck that needed a dyno for the inspection. They couldnt address the issue with the dyno so my visit was a waste of time.

Another shop that did an inspection on my wifes car said that her brakes needed new pads and calipers. I took it to Kwik Kar, and athough theyre not very good at spelling, they did say there was nothing wrong with her brakes and shed probably be ready for new pads on the front in 3 to 7 months depending on her driving. Took 5 minutes for them to ease my mind. Very refreshing to get an honest opinion! They just earned my business. :)

I have been taking my car to this shop for the last year. I live in Coppell, and am so happy to have a local repair shop I can trust! They dont try to up-sell me and they always go the extra mile to make sure we are happy. I see several negative reviews on here, but please remember, this is under new ownership now, so it is like a different place altogether.I get all my cars maintenance work done here and they have repaired my A/C system in one car and replaced the radiator in the other.

This Kwik Kar is the best in the metroplex! I have taken my car there many times and I am always satisfied. The mechanic on staff is top notch and is ASE certified. After taking my car to the dealership for an oil change I was quoted a crazy price for work that I was told had to be done or my car would no longer work correctly. A friend referred me to Kwik Kar of Coppell. The Mechanic took one look at my car and told me that the dealership was wrong and what would have cost me over $1000.00 dollars only cost about $100!! I highly recommend this shop from everything to oil changes, brakes to major mechanical work. You will not be disappointed!

Ive been to this location several times, and each time they pressure me to let them do five additional things to my car. Ive told them several times that I do that kind of maintenance at home because my husband works in the automotive industry. One technician said in an accusatory manner, Then why doesnt he change your oil? He doesnt change my oil because we dont have anything to lift my car so he can access the bottom at home, not that its any of their business. Be prepared for these people to pressure you into spending hundreds of dollars.

A man named Harold, was demeaning towards a woman customer today. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I left after hearing the sexist remarkers towards her.

Parked, walked in the door and no one asked me if I needed anything for 15 minutes. Proceeded to walk out and finally the front desk guy who was talking to a friend on the side of the building asked me if I had been helped. This same person saw me park and walk into the front office. Terrible customer service chatting with a friend.Update: I left and drove to Valvoline Instant Oil Change down the road and got the full inspection in 14 mins from start to finish.

My car recently broke down in Coppell, and I had it towed to this Kwik Kar simply because it was the closest shop. If I had read these reviews, I might have changed my mind, but I am so glad I didnt. Rahmi and his wife are new owners of Kwik Kar, and I could not have been more impressed with their service. They were kind, personable, and easy to talk to. I brought my car in right before closing, and they offered multiple times--until I finally accepted!--to drive me to a location that was more convenient for my wife to pick me up from (they wanted to save her from the rush hour traffic on Belt Line, which we both appreciated). Rahmi drove me all the way to the intersection at 635 and Josey, right by my wifes work, and showed genuine concern for me, both as a customer and as a person. The next day, I received both a call from a technician and an email from Rahmi himself breaking down the exact expenses of their service, with an offer to give me a ride from my job in downtown Dallas to their shop.I honestly cannot say enough nice things about them, the way they treated me, and their above-and-beyond customer service. Please dont be swayed by these negative reviews based on the service of former owners! I only wish their shop was located closer to my home in Dallas so I could go to them for my other automotive needs.

Went in for inspection yesterday. I was told by kwik kar the state halted all inspections due to weather. I went down the street and got inspection done by Valvoline. I dont appreciate dishonesty and laziness. I wont go back.
