I started coming to Joe maybe 2 years ago. I figured I would give his shop a go after meeting him in the community. He does a great job. he knows pretty much everything about Coppell (been here a long time), and has the most interesting stories and photos. Going to see Joe to get my hair cut is a great joy, and he does a great job.

I was in town for a conference and needed a quick haircut. I’m so glad I found this place and saw the good reviews. Very easy for walk-in and a great job for a great price.

Getting a haircut from this gentleman is a travel to the past. Everything here is aged, but aged by careful use, aged in a nostalgic manner. Reminiscent of days I never enjoyed when men used to talk politics, solve the world problems, and conduct business in places like this.Now I dont know if in this age of divide and political extremes such conversations would be possible, but one can imagine they could in such a place with such a host.He is careful with his craft, a man who clearly has great respect for what brings food to his table.Quick and easy, no frills, no extras, no tricks. No trying to sell you some hair product or some shampoo. Just a good, pleasant haircut for a fair price.Will be coming back for sure.To make your day complete, make sure to get you some grub at the Local Diner just across the street.

I dropped in here for a beard and neck cleanup. That is not what I got. What I got was a great conversation with the owner/operator, Joe, and a few fellow patrons. To be fair, my neck and beard did get taken care of, but as with any good barber shop, thats not really what the experience is about.This particular shop is tiny. Joe has been in business for over 20 years in this same location; the shop, his tools, the chairs, etc. are all old and well cared for, giving the place a really great vintage vibe thats hard to find these days.Highly recommended.

Best haircut I have had in a long time, especially at such a great price point. Joe is running a full service barbershop at almost 1/2 of the price you would pay elsewhere. His shop itself is no frills, but the service and attention you get while you are there is anything but. On top of that, Joe is a great conversationalist with a lot of cool stories and topics that make the time fly while he does his craft. Incidentally, Joe has been cutting hair for 25 years, which should tell you a lot about his passion and dedication to what he does.What I got for the price: Short Haircut with a fade. He razored all of the trim with shaving cream and a straight razor and then touched up my mustache and beard for right at $16.I look great if I do say so myself! Thanks Joe!

Real, honest-to-goodness barbershop in the heart of Coppell. Everything youd expect in a barbershop except the girly magazines. Politics, sports, town history, all of it. Joe even brings out the straight razor to clean up your sideburns and the back of your neck! The only thing he hasnt been able to do is figure out how to make me pretty and Im not sure that is his fault. I will keep going back.

I’ve been going to Joe to get my hair cut for as long as I can remember. Of course I’ve tried other places a few times when he was out of town or after his hours but that’s the exact reason I come back to Joe. No one pays more attention to give you the exact hair cut you’d like than Joe. He builds a great relationship with his clients which is something you won’t get a at a chain. His hair cuts are extremely affordable and honestly the best I’ve received. I haven’t lived in Coppell for 10 years now but I still drive there from Haslet any time I need a cut. Hes extremely responsive so don’t hesitate to call if you’re not sure if he’s on lunch. This shop is truly one of the last gems left in the town of Coppell. There’s been so many people move in from out of town the town has lost its identity to chains and run out most of the small mom and pop shops. This is where I got my first hair cut and it will be where my son gets his.

I recently relocated for work to Coppell, Texas and I was driving by this establishment every day. I finally decided to look it up on google and WOW, the reviews had me wanting to experience this barbershop. I went today for the first time during my lunch and unfortunately Joe was on lunch as well. There is a barbershop next door, I decided to google their reviews and they weren’t as great as Joe’s so I decided to just come back after work. That’s how important reviews are to me! So I get off work and I tell joe what I want done to my hair and he does everything I asked for. Getting a haircut can be quiet awkward if there is no personal connectionAnd just complete silence, we’ll thats not what you get with this barber! He has awesome stories and beautiful pictures on the wall! He even wanted to get to know me as well which means a lot nowadays because we are losing our touch with humanity due to social media and technology. Thank you Joe, for taking care of me and making me feel welcomed! I will be using this barbershop as long as I’m in coppell working. I hope this makes someone else’s decision easy to make like everyone else’s reviews made my decision.
