I was in Conway visiting family all the way from Montana and was overdue for a beard trim. I shave my head, so no haircut needed, but Matt didnt hesitate to help me out. He did a killer job on my beard, making sure I was happy with the work and even took the time to clean up the lines with a straight razor.The shop is cool with a very relaxed, manly feeling. It felt wrong to not be drinking a beer or a glass of whiskey. The conversation was great and not awkward at all for having never met Matt.Matt, anytime Im in Conway, your shop is definitely on my list of places to stop. Discovered Matt’s Uppercuts about three months ago and what find that was. It’s a one-man barbershop with Matt at the helm and he runs it exceptionally well. He takes the time to get to know exactly what you want and then makes it happen. Matt is also a military veteran and that’s pretty evident by his professionalism, dependability and delivering nothing but the best. He has my vote for best barber in Conway!

I really enjoyed my time at Matts Uppercuts. He was very focused on every detail of my hair, working hard to give me the hair cut that I wanted. His reservation slots online are set for 30 minutes, but if you have a lot of hair or really thick hair as I do then you will need to book two slots to make sure he has time. He quickly learned that my hair was too thick to cut properly in 30 minutes, so he offered to let me come back after hours so he could give me the best cut possible. I really appreciated this because this shows that he cares about the quality of his cuts and not just rushing people in and out to make more money. He even shaved my beard when I came in after hours even though I did not book that in my original appointment, which just shows how much he cares about his customers and the quality of his service. He is great barber and holds great conversation, he is a hard worker and a God loving man. I highly recommend Matts Uppercuts to anyone looking for a great haircut, a smooth shave, and a excellent conversation.

Highly recommend Uppercuts. On average I guess I see Matt 30+ times a year for a haircut and have done so for the past 8 years or so. He provides exceptional service and enjoyable conversation. He obviously takes great pride in his profession and his attention to customer needs has proven to be the cornerstone to his success.

Average bald fade cut, but the owner is a total narcissist. Inside his business is a shrine to his life. He doesnt keep normal hours and expects his clients to cater to his whimsy. You can tell that he wants clients to think they are lucky to get a cut from him.
