Kent is a fantastic barber! In the area for some R&R. Set my appointment and never had another concern. The shop is clean and simple. He asked what I needed and delivered in spades! I highly recommend this business!

I got highly recommended to come here. I cut hair myself and you can always tell how well a barber is by the way they move their hands with the tools to cut hair. First thing I noticed was that he held the clippers with two hands. I thought that was unusual. Secondly, during my haircut and having small talk, I asked how long he has been cutting hair. He said about 5 years. So I figured if that was the case he would been up on his game. I had to tell him twice to blend the fade on one side cause it wasn’t blended well. The scissor cut was the same. It was not even. When I ask to shave the back of my neck he said he does not do hot shave or use blades for that matter. Once I got home I used my clips to cut my hair on top all one size. A real barber would always increase his skills overtime and add to his tool box. The fact he is one of two barber shops in town should not only be his way of getting clients. He is a nice guy, being being a nice guy does not get the most proficient job done. I would not be going back there.

Ive been going on and off to Kent for years. I always come back, and wont stray again. His hair cuts are far superior to others, his prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and authentic. I recently had a cut at a high end barber in Montreal for much more money. Kent does a better job on my beard and hair every time.

Excellent having Kent as a barber. I tip him well because of his wit and academic prowess. Note that Kent has move to a new venue at 38 Main Street. The facade looks great. I did not that we have a dissatisfied customer, Eliseo. My advice since he cuts hair, then he should always do his own to meet his tool standard. So Eliseo, was your visit to get a haircut or to critique technique and his tool box. If you dont like it, then simply cut your own or travel to your desired location. Your expectations are ludicrous so cutting your own would be best for you and best for people reading obnoxious reviews.I just read a review by Bruce Fournier who made this statement, Very difficult to get in. I have gone 3 separate times and 2-3 people waiting sorry do not have time to waitI am wondering when the spinning stops Mr. Fournier? When, please?Oh, you do not comprehend my meaning is that it? Sorry, I need to clarify and I shall. I mean when does the earth cease spinning around you? You clearly are the center of the universe. Furthermore, you are labeled as a local guide. Frankly, you are making other local guides look foolish. Kents schedule, just to be clear, DOES NOT revolve around your schedule. What do you fail to understand? Kent has a regular schedule and it is clearing posted on the door. You appear disturbed, in many ways, that other people actually wait in a line, patiently, to receive services. As a local guide, your function is to review the services. Did you, or did you merely spew nonsensical venom regarding your inability to adapt your precious schedule. If you want to make an appointment to fit YOUR personal needs then try an expensive salon. The prices are a minimum of $20 and up, but you will first need to drive 1 1/2 hours to Dover. Today, I waited for 5 minutes in from the Kents and was the first customer. So, please, do not tell me that its hard to get in. You know what was said about Hotel California?
