Great service from Dillon and Erin! I initially dropped by for an estimate for new tires. After comparing costs for other services needed (cabin & engine filter, alignment) I ended up taking care of everything at Pep Boys. Very accommodating being that I was a walk-in with no prior appointment. Smoothest process I’ve had regarding servicing my car in a while. Everything was completed within the given window. I was able to run a few errands in the area while my car was being serviced. I truly appreciate the transparency given regarding my vehicle. Warranties and Road Side Assistance offers are a plus. Definitely recommend this Pep Boys!

I got my vehicle serviced here last minute after getting a tire blowout approx 10 miles from this Pep Boys. My warranty Honda Road-Side assistance was gonna have my car shipped to a dealership forever away and it wasnt going to be looked at until the next day.I was on a schedule to get back home to Virginia for work on a tight timeline and needed my car.I called a number of places in the area to see if they could get me a replacement tire and do the work before the day was over. I tried a couple of local tire shops and Firestone, but no avail. I tried the last on my list, Pep Boys, and connected with Erin. I told Erin the situation and asked if they would be able to help me out and he said they would be standing by for my vehicle.The tow vehicle took a while to get my car and it was already past the normal closing time for Pep-Boys, and at that point I was prepared to not have my car ready to go before the nights end. However, after we got to Pep-Boys with my car, both Erin and Matt had my new tire pulled ready to go, and mind you this was probably an hour after they normally close.They got my tire swapped out and price was competitive, and to be quite honest considering the totality of the circumstance I got the far better end of the deal with the efforts they went through to help my wife and I. We are now on track to get back home to Virginia!I was out with my family trying to scout out potential houses/property for a future move in the Houston area, and I gotta say, meeting Erin and his team definitely has me enthusiastic for the Conroe area. This is the kind of zeal that should be recognized. Thank you Erin, Matt, and team!

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation like I have the last 4 years, the guy tells me we will have you all done in an hour. So he goes to the back and comes back telling they cant do it today and need an appointment for tomorrow. He says sorry and that he guesses his guys didnt want to do the work, and theres no cars in any of the bays. Wish I had a job where I could choose what I wanted to do. Wont be going back.

I took my truck to Pepboys and had a very bad experience because I was told that I needed to have a new calipers, rotors and brake pads and it was going to be $1030. I was also told that it was a safety issue. If it was a safety issue they wouldn’t have put my wheels back on and leave because I’m not going to pay that much just for a brake job. I got home and re-examined everything. I only needed one rotor, brake pads for each wheel and my caliper was just fine. The guys at Pepboys tried to rip me off and I will never do business with Pepboys again.

Id give ZERO if I could. I brought my car in to have the brake line flushed (after being told the day before that was all I needed). The brakes were working when I dropped it off...when I picked it up the brakes DID NOT WORK!! I rear ended another customer in the parking lot. The guy inside was rude and acted like he told me there were no brakes...he even admitted that he did not test drive it. My car is likely totalled. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

I came here yesterday to get my tires balance because my front left tire was out of balance. But they made the problem even worse I don’t know what else to say

Brought my moms car here. Brakes still squeak, after having all her pads and rotors done, and even the calipers replaced in the rear as they claim they were both seized. The likelihood of both being seized at the same time in the rear is very slim. But we decided to replace the rear calipers anyways. But I still am not entirely satisfied with the quality of work. They must of not cleaned the pins or grease them. Or maybe put in new clips. Because the squeaking is still very obnoxious and annoying after putting $700+ worth of new pads, rotors, and calipers in it

Pep boys is awesome as a girl I dont know much about fixing small things that go wrong with my car all I have to do is call them and give them the year make and model and they quote me a price for the part and a price to install it and if I go in the store just to buy items they really do a lot to help me out theyre very knowledgeable and I appreciate that

Determined that I had a brake problem while on a road trip to Colorado. Got back home and the next day took my car to Pep Boys in Conroe. Had them repair the brakes and perform an oil change to boot (Very competitive price). Did not have an appointment, but they managed to provide a quality service within 2 hours. Shout out to Nicholas Barber for helping me find an online coupon for the work. Very professional individual that should go far in the Pep Boys organization.

Took my 4 Runner in to get tires changed out. Technician put an 800 dollar scratch on it. Filed a claim but can get no information on who is taking care of this as well as a call or email back. Have been calling them every day same BS So at this point small claims court here we come.

This place has went downhill. I just took my truck in because my ABS and traction control warning lights were on... which typically indicates the wheel speed sensors are faulty or could be related to bad hub bearings. However, after charging me $120 to hook up to their diagnostic machine, they identified the associated codes yet cleared the system and said nothing was wrong. I also had them rotate my tires, and had to request that they also balance them after they did not suggest that service. Unfortunately, I soon found out the ABS/traction control problem was not fixed and had to listen to the audible warning my entire ride from Houston to New Orleans the following day. On top of that, they did not adjust my tires front/rear air pressure after doing the rotation. If they would have, they would have seen that one of my TPMS sensors is not working and the psi is not correct. Long story short, Im disappointed with the business and will adjust my review based on how they handle the situation. I basically paid over $200 for an oil change, if they even did that.

I would rate a 0 if possible. Brought my car in to have tires installed and they stripped out a wheel stud and made no mention of it. I only discovered it when I took my car in to another shop for service. I would advise you skip this shop if you value your vehicle and your life!

I did not buy my tires here. They showed a great price online, but in the tiny print which is unreadable on my phone it says you have to order them and wait for them to be shipped to the store. Strike one.When I decided to go ahead and pay more since with a gouge in my sidewall I needed it done now, I was informed that they would not put the new tires on the front, only on the back. I have older tires on the back right now, and I wanted the new ones on the front of my front wheel drive car. Nope, corporate policy says they have to go on the back. I wasnt there to pay for a rotation AND buy tires. Strike two. I dont go to three strikes.The staff was nice enough, although they did try to suggest selling me more tires since I wanted front ones.Corporate officially caused the lost sale. I took it to another shop and got two good front tires and still saved money. There was a disclaimer stating that they recommend putting new tires on the back, I just had to sign for it. I have no problem with that, and their butts are covered.I didnt bother to get the brake job quoted here as I had planned, I will be taking it somewhere else to do that as well.Two stars because like I said, staff was very friendly, so if corporate changes their policies they may get more business (there was only one other customer). If not there are lots of other businesses around ready to do the work.

Do not go to this place. I ordered tires online, made the appointment for installation, drove over an hour to be told they didnt have the tires.

I went to this location last week to have my brake pad repaired, i knew what I needed when I went in. They took my car back and took all of the tires off and came in and told me my new tires were bad. I told them to fix the brake pads only. He then came back and told me that I needed new pads, rotors and calipers for both sides of my car. Even though only one side was possibly messed up. He said the caliper was seized without even trying to push it back. He tried to charge me 977$. This is all during a time when people are losing jobs. I told him no and to put my tires back on my car. I took it elsewhere and they repaired my brake pads on both sides and 1 rotor. The cost was around 300$. I will never go to any pep boys again.

I say this because I have been burned several times in the past with low quality work and people that have not been honest. I just have to give a raving review for the Pepboys in Conroe!!! They were so awesome! We had a flat tire and they were so helpful to us. They had great customer service and I highly recommend them!

I had a screw in my tire and they reset my light for me AND my clock. I had no clue how to even do that. I went in because it felt weird to drive and they did everything they could. I only ended up paying like $25 and my car feels like it did when I bought it. 💖 I cant be more thankful for the amazing customer service I received.

AMAZING STAFF! Last week, while headed to Galveston for some R&R time, our car stopped on I45 in the rain and the closest repair shop was Pep Boys in Conroe, TX. They had a part for my classic car and transferred it from the store that had it to a closer store so I wouldn’t have to drive too far.

Tried to con me out of WAY more money than necessary. Wanted me to pay $700 for rear brake pads and rotors. Went to another chain and I ended up paying $500 for all 4. I DO NOT recommend.

Tire(s) install,Had a surprise nail in my family SUV and drive to this location as it was the only shop around me still open. They told me a repair couldnt be done because of the tread being low; it was low and i was about to replace them next month so that was true. Upon further googling i learned tire repair isnt recommend if the tread is below the indicators. Tire install was quick, around 20-30 mins but there werent any other people there.All in all a good shop, a little pricey; the tires were $150 a piece and the install for the pair was $100 on top of the tires. The last pair of tires i got installed were about $30 a pair to install at a different major chain.

I just left this Pep Boys location. The staff member was so generous with his time and helped me quickly. He diagnosed my issue without difficulty and then he even recommended I go to Subaru instead, I highly recommend this location if you are looking for someone honest and who knows that they are doing.

Nicholas the manager was AMAZING. Did the work I ask for fast and efficient. Down to earth a caring about customers. Refreshing to see. I will definitely be back again.

Erin is very rude and needs to work on his customer service skills. Also, on my last visit they had the garbage MTV trash with Jerry Springer garbage on the TV at my last visit. It would be nice if Erin was friendly and more appropriate TV channel was playing.

Appreciate Nicholas honesty telling me that my daughters car does NOT need brake pads yet. The squealing is due to age and/or dirt. Surprisingly, fixed a single issue without giving a laundry list of any other recommendations.

I use Pep Boys here in Conroe to service my company vehicle. They always welcome you with a smile. I stopped using a different company when the folks here at Pep Boys were having to replace a tire. I had just had the oil changed at a competeter shop. During Pep Boys intinal inspection they found certain filters were OEM and I always have my oil changed at 5000 mile intervals. So Pep Boys earned my trust and now they get to work on my personal vehicle now as well. Thanks

Nicholas and the crew at Pep boys do a nice job explaining everything and helped me keep my older car running good. I was really impressed with the road side assistance they offer to anyone who buys tires from them as well.

Broke down on I45 and hobbled my way to pep boys. The service team was very helpful and even though they were unable to make my repairs they diagnosed the problem and discounted the service charge. Spent several hours there waiting for the tow service and actually enjoyed my stay. Great team.

I do not do this very often, but the way I was treated today could not have gone better! Something unseen took place and they took care of it. Outstanding!

Tried to charge me $421 to change the high pressure hose on a gasoline pickup said it was parked markup and labor went and bought both high pressure hoses for less than a hundred twenty bucks the met this is a total rip-off and I dont think anybody ought to use them...

I went to change my oil 7-13-2017 after it was done I drove home I started hearing a noise so when my husband look under good they had greased my belt now it makes noises, so we call them and tell them they stayed they dont do that, they didnt even wanna take a look you could see the grease all over. Im pissed . I will not go back there, poor customer service . 😣

I stopped by pep boys cause i had a blow out and my spare was on flat and the mechanic was okay with putting it in but then I guess the front desk guy came from smoking his cigarette and was like they can’t for the most ignorant reason ever. He was not polite and I was offended that he even thought it was his place to interrupt. I would not recommend this place ever

Pep Boys was an incredibly happy surprise! My family has had bad experiences with other similar companies in the past, and needless to say, I was hesitant coming here instead of the dealership. However, Ive never had better customer service, nor spoken to a more down-to-earth professional who can communicate to me in english instead of mechanics technical terms! I will be back here for every car need!

Ive been here three times. The first time was to get a flat repaired. The old man that looked at my tires lied twice once by lying about my tread being too low. The second lie was he tried to tell me my belt had cracks all through it. He also tried to guilt me into buying tires I complained to the manager about his worker. The manager apologized and asked to give them another chance and he would give me a discount on a couple of new tires. The second time I went they stayed good on thier word on a discount on two new tires and service was pleasant. The third time I went in for an alignment. This tall bald man went to look at my car and immediately tried to convince me that I had to buy two new tires before he could do a proper alignment. My tread read a couple of marks above being bad enough to not pass inspection. Now a good deal about cars and knew that this guy was trying to pull a fast one on me. I called him out on it and he basicly told me i didnt now what i was taking about and I need to listen to him. So people im telling you that these people are straight up taking advantage of peoples ignorance about cars. They are untrustworthy and will try to con people into work they dont need. If I could give a negative 5 stars I would. I am making a complant to the a corporate office, if they have one, and the Better Business Bureau.

Had car tower to their shop for alignment and they left a message that it would cost 2grand in work before they could align it. So I had a friend go up there to help me and they wouldnt even let us use a jack to get my car drivable itleast..
