Hector is awesome. We have an old school projector TV. He does not have the bulb in stock, but he orders it for me and has it within 3 or 4 days. I have always been nothing but pleased with the service. He also has repaired TVs for sale that I would like to purchase for the bedroom when the money is right.

Several years ago I purchased a surround sound system and had them install it. They did a good job. The receiver has now quit working. I called them to ask about repairs. If not repairable I wished to purchase a new unit and have them install it properly.I spoke with a lady who took my name, number and the original invoice number and told me the owner was out but would call me Monday. He did not. I called again on Tuesday and asked about possibly doing the repairs. I was told the technician would call after lunch. Once again no return call.I find this quite common with businesses in Conroe. I have seldom had my calls answered and have never had a call returned. My first impression of Video Services was positive. My latest impression is completely negative. I certainly cannot recommend them and would suggest you look elsewhere for service.
I took my RCA tv to them on Oct.192020 and i had to call before thanksgiving and before christmas and was told either tech would call back after lunch and next time was after a service call then was told my tv probably wasnt worth repairing because i had the worst brand to try to fix RCA r u kidding me.Told him to try the repair again because I believed it had probably never been touched he said they had tried 2 different parts and still wouldnt fix would i like to buy a 60 in tv from them . umm no.Still waiting on that return call and here it is Feb.10th 2021. Poor horrible absolutely disgusting customer service and thats from a fellow business owner.
The owner is an excellent TV repair man. Very friendly and knowledgeable, will let you know what is needed and the cost before any work begins

Had a repair scheduled with my manufacturer for someone to come out and get my tv. Stayed home all day, no one ever showed. I contacted the manufacturer and they said to give it a bit sometimes they come out the next day. Understandable, a week goes by and nothing so I called and brought my tv in. 3 months later its STILL broken and they didnt do very much to try and fix it. 3 attempts to swap the panel later they ordered another part to swap that. It was the wrong part and at the end of the week they said they would order the new part Monday. It was Friday and the part arrived Friday the week before. Had the wrong part for a whole week and didnt even bother to correct it or update anyone about it.

I setup an appointment for them to come out and look at my TV. I called at 8:30 AM and informed them I would need to leave by 1:00 PM and that I would reschedule if this was a problem. I was reassured that this would not be a problem and even received a call from the technician that its no problem to make it by 1:00. Needless to say, nobody every showed up and not one phone call. When I called and asked to speak to the owner, I was dumbfounded at the level of rudeness that I was greeted with and was told that sometime things happen and thats life.

So after only having my Sanyo tv for a year, it stopped working on me a couple weeks ago. It was still in warranty so Sanyo sent me here. After a bit of miscommunication, I was told to bring the TV and they would fix it and it would be a warranty job. I dropped it off on Sep. 12th. The guy I spoke with Hector I believe his name was, was very nice and got through things quickly to get me on my way. He told me it would take about 2 weeks. No big deal, I understand these things take time. I was fully ready to wait the 2 weeks. Imagine my surprise when I get a phone call 7 days later (this is including the weekend when they were closed, telling me my TV was ready. Went in, they had it set up and showed me it was working before helping me load it in my car. I am a very happy customer. The place is old and shabby, but give them a chance. They sure surprised me, hopefully theyll do the same for you. I would definitely deal with them again. Would have given 5 stars, but the miscommunication annoyed the hell out of me the first week.
Simply talking to these people over the phone about my TV issue is enough to never work with them.
Poor workmanship!! I had my Samsung DLP 50 fixed there. Spent $335!!!! Only for the TV to break again 3 months later. Just found out the part that they charged me for was 0.30 cents!!!! Thanks to my Electronics Engineer friend who took apart my TV and has now fixed it for a meer fraction of the cost!
