This place is great! I got my nails done there 5 days ago and Im still in love. Best experience thus far!

Been a customer here a few times and at least twice Ive had to return within an hour of getting my nails done, either because they have already started to chip or just poor Quality. It happens but the Manager was very unprofessional about it, wanted to argue with me and actually refused to fix them. Ultimately, someone else came over and corrected it. This place is pretty outer shell but thats all. Poor quality work and unprofessional management. Dont waste ur time or money, much better places in the Charlotte area. Wont get anymore of my money.

I LOVED how well I was treated at this location. The manager knew me by name and made sure I got top notch treatment every time. I even go to the same woman (who is AMAZING at nails btw). But this past visit has made me extremely upset. I got my eyebrows waxed. I did not notice skin was ripped off until a couple hours later. I drove back to the salon and complained. I wasn’t even offered a partial refund. Instead, I was given a ziplock bag full of aloe and was told by the manager that it would heal in a couple days. It has been four. The wound still burns and I’ve noticed my entire left eyebrow now has burns from skin irritation due to how hot the wax was. The thing that bothers me the most is the manager said since they have to wear masks all the time, they can’t blow on the wax before putting it on us…that’s a ridiculous excuse. BUT, great place to get nails done. DO NOT GET WAXED HERE!

I ordered a manicure and asked that my cuticles be done.. The clippers were not clean. They were not packaged and just sitting in the dirty bin with all of the other supplies and then were used on me! I spoke up and said that equipment was not clean! The manicurist said I wiped them down with alcohol in the back.Nooooooo! That is not sterile!!! I am a RN. Also this is the job I got done. Awful!

BEWARE - My SNS cracked within 3 days on 4 of my nails (shameful). I called and asked to speak to the manager after I returned from vacation. She told me that it had been more than 5 days and that she couldnt do anything for me. I told her I could bring my travel itinerary to show I was out of the country for 6 days, so I could not meet the 5 day period. She said sorry - rules are rules. WOW! This shop cares nothing about service or making it right for their customers. Service is everything and they definitely fell short! They will never see me again!

This place is very fast and efficient, I give them that. It’s also pretty nice and clean & comfortable. But the quality of the service sometimes lacks because of how fast & efficient they are. My nails started to chip and degrade after 1 day. Also make sure you come at least 45 minutes before they say they close because they stop taking customers by then.

The manager lady was extremely rude the second we walked in! I was shocked by her attitude and almost turned around and walked out however I had made an appointment a week in advance. The nail technicians were super friendly and sweet, except our nails were very rushed! The nails turned out good but there’s definitely some uneven spots. Compared to my regular salon and others that I’ve been to their prices are more expensive. I definitely won’t go back here.

It was my first time. Pedi- she did not scrub the bottom of my feet. And did not even out my toe nails. Full set- great job, nice design BUT I had to go back 2 days later because the gel polish started to peel off several nails. They redid the polish but different more basic design.

I love it here. All the technicians are so friendly and professional. They are at ease performing all services. They listen and have nice conversations with me. They understand exactly how I want my nails. The salon is clean and they follow COVID precautions. I would recommend this location on Derita Rd highly. Much quieter and peaceful.

I love it here!! Everyone is so nice and care so much for you as a customer. They truly know how to bring your imagination to reality. They are all very clean and efficient with everything they do. Highly recommend trying them out!

I go to this place regularly but I am looking for someplace new. I love the aesthetic and location but they use low quality polish, or so it seems. My gel manicures peel right away and my pedicures chip. Typically, I can go a month before I need a pedicure. Also, they do not heed appointments. I made an appointment for a reason. I arrived on time and waited 45 minutes.

I have been going to this salon for quite some time now. The comments I am reading are really shocking to me. In the time that I have been a regular patron (about two years now) I had one incident. I had a conversation with the owner who understood my concerns, apologized for the issue and credited my account toward future visits which was perfect for me. Kalissa is THE NICEST nail tech ever. I love her work and her professionalism. Even in that she makes you feel special. My daughter has even become a regular patron. We like it.

The place is elegant and clean with friendly staff, they are upfront and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate you

I’ve come here multiple times and even with walk-ins during peak hours, they always take care of me with a sense of priority! You can tell the salon owner Nhi really cares about top service for her customers. She remembered me from past visits and was very sweet. I was in and out under an hour! And the pricing is very reasonable and affordable!! Even when I accidentally dinged my toe on a corner after my pedicure, they rushed to quickly fix it, didn’t charge me extra, and it was like I never dinged it in the first place!!

Great environment, friendly employees. Viva has a great selection of different services, know their stuff and do really good quality work! I will definitely be going back!

I went to get a pedicure last night and the lady did a horrible rush job. I asked for a basic pedicure and I didn’t even get that. She barely scrubbed my heels, removed the dead skin, and the polish job was absolutely terrible. I spoke with the owner because I was not satisfied. She agreed to fix them the next day personally. I went back today and they were busy, so another lady had to fix the issue. The owner did allow me to change the color from white to pink at no charge for my inconvenience. The new lady was supposed to fix the shape and re polish my toes. However, she did not take all off the white polish off so I can still see the white polish in the corners. And when I told her she claimed it was the nail polish remover and dead skin! Since I just got a pedicure there the night before there should not have been any dead skin. As a first time customer I am highly disappointed and will never return.

My experience here was ok.I made an appointment for me and my family for vacation and birthdays.Im not sure Ill go back again the employees were nice and did a good job with me and my family. It was just an uncomfortable Ora in the air though.One of my dilemmas was I actually made an appointment even walked inside to make it due to them not answering the phone.I spoke with the manager and hostess and planned prior to the day plenty of days in advance.Well when I got to the place the manager seemed so annoyed and unsure of what was going on with my appointment when she actually scheduled with the hostess the day I made tha appointment.I wasnt impressed but it wasnt like omg awful service and like a huge smack in the face. But I just expected different I guess and was let down being that I am a nail tech and have worked in customer service for years its always better to be cheerful and accommodate your customers and build that security blanket for their comfort with their service.I just am not so sure I would recommend this to friends or family or if I would feel comfortable returning. The customer care service needs a change and the management needs to do better as well in my opinion.But maybe the next person will have a different experience...

They are supper nice and once we picked out our colors we were taken to our seats idmedietly and they got to work my lady did and amazing job with my foot massage! Would recommend.

Beautiful nail salon. It looks great and smells amazing. But they still use MMA. I smelled it and felt (feel it) in my nails when they were doing my nails, even though they showed me the bottle. I got a full set and pedicure today, and they do rush pedis, but it comes out good. If you’re into getting a fast pedicure and set and getting out the door, then this place is for you. If you are the the type to really want to enjoy your experience, then this might not be the salon for you. I got my nails done by Lindsey. She is great. But, due to the chemicals they use and the rush I received (it wasn’t busy), I probably won’t be back (except for maybe a pedi). Thanks.

I went for the first time a week ago for gel nail and toe polish. The very next day, both were nail & toe polish was peeling off. A guy was my tech. I went back 2 days later to show them where all polish was already peeling, they weren’t very concerned. The previous guy tech agreed to fix it, but was in a hurry, & guess what, by the next day, the polish was peeling off again. Walmart nail salon does a much better job than this, where I normally go & will be going back. I will say the salon is nicely decorated & spacious, but nothing else impressed me. Don’t get gel polish here unless you plan on coming back as soon as the next day to get it done over. I wasted my time & my money, I won’t be going back.

Nhi is a wonderful business owner. She is honest, quick to get to know you and your needs. I have been going to her for two years and only once have I had a nail mishap that she quickly fixed in a professional and courteous manner.I am shocked at some of the reviews as if you are a consistent customer you know this is the place to go.

Went there a couple of times. Not impressed at all. I took my Mom for a pedicure, the lady was hurting her every toe. I had a pedicure as well, still have a lot of dead skin on my feet. I gave this nail salon a few tries, but not going to come back anymore. When you pay $60 for a pedicure (for two) you dont want to come home and fix your feet yourself.

I was at Viva Nail Spa for the the first time on 9/12/2020. I must say the facility is absolutely beautiful and the service is excellent. I had a pedicure and l have to give a loud shout out to Marcus. He was amazing and very gentle with the care he gave me. Oh and can he ever give a great foot message. This place is definitely worth your trying.

1st time I went for eyebrow waxing and the nicked me and never apologized. Went back several months later for pedicure. Omg. They do not use protection in the tub. Omg. I should have left then. Noticed all they do is spray water in the tub to clean. Now I have dry, flaky skin on my feet. I am afraid it athletes feet. Never again. Worst salon ever. I wouldn’t send my dog to them.

My 14 year old daughter went to have her eyebrows waxed. Unfortunately, she was burned. Repeated requests did not yield a refund. It will heal, was about the most offered. Very unprofessional to burn a client and then not offer a full refund on a service that was done incorrectly. Shameful.

I have been coming here since opening and have had only good experiences.They are professional, knowledgeable, friendly,, and taking the extra precautions as necessary due to COVID. Today I had tips( SNS) done and ( ALEX) the technician did an exceptional job!!

I normally come here first 4x I came it was excellent however today when I came to get a gel pedicure my tech didn’t do all the things that come with the pedicure I purchased. I’ve been here ALOT so I know what I’m paying for when I explained to the receptionist she didn’t even care, she still took my money and didn’t even let me speak to a manager or anything I don’t like that one bit and I have referred a lot of family and friends to this place but will not return until things are different

Nhi is the best!! She explains everything, is extremely knowledgeable, takes her time and makes sure you are happy! My daughter is very picky and she said this was the BEST manicure shes had ❤

The salon looks great inside but the service is not so great. I was charged $5 to get my nails torn off, painfully and $5 for long nails and when I say my nails are no where NEAR long! Also underneath my nail is so much left over acrylic and glue. The nails are also verryy bulky, which I can see is a common complaint! To top it all off the “manager” was rude, a smile would not hurt. They do rush jobs to get you out the door like most salons. I will never be back.

Lack luster customer service. After receiving a pedicure that left me with a deep cut on my foot, the manager offered a mere 10% discount and showed no empathy for what the technician had done. (Not to mention the technician trying to place my feet back into the pedicure bowl with an open cut. Yuck!) I have been serviced at this location a few times and have been slowly unimpressed with each visit, but after today’s experience I won’t return.

I have been to a few different salons throughout Charlotte and Concord and this one is a keeper. The staff is pleasant, especially Lexi, who greets you and gets your service(s) started and is very helpful in answering questions. She definitely is an asset. Nancy was very professional and did a fantastic job on my nails. I am looking forward to returning for a color change in a few weeks. They have multiple services to please anyones style. And the salon is very inviting and relaxing.

If you want a quick, half done pedicure, this is the place for you. After my visit today at Viva Nail Spa on Derita Rd. In Concord, I must make it known that I will NEVER RETURN.1)I waited in the pedicure chair while others that came in after me were serviced before me, (they did not have appointment, I asked).2) I purchased the $35 deluxe pedicure, but received the $25 basic pedicure. I DID NOT receive a foot or leg message. When I asked the tech why she did not message my feet or legs, she pretend not to understand English, but told her co-worker she did message my feet. I explained that she did not give me the full deluxe pedicure and requested a manager.I spoke with the manager, she rudely told me that the tech said she did provide all theDeluxe service. Manager then insulted me by saying my feet must have had too many callus and I did not feel it, I do not have any callus at all!! ! Manager then said there was nothing else to discuss and walked away!What happen to Customers Are Always Right? And providing Customers with an excellent Customer experience? ☹️

Great job on an acrylic full set.

I was excited to get my feet done after quarentine. This experienced ruined it for me. Our toes look like my dog painted them! The salon is beautiful and thats the only thing nice I have to say. Poor quality of work and customer service. I paid for a massage just for him to tickle my toes for two minutes. I’ll be back to Venice Nails in 2 weeks

Was ok for my first pedi. The girl seemed over the day so that was unfortunate. Other than that my toes look amazing an my feet felt great. Kinda sucked they didnt give complimentary flops. I had to wear my sneakers out. 😢

I initially came in for a fill- in on a Friday, and by Tuesday one of my nails had already broken and two jewels had fallen off. I called and scheduled a nail fix with Tyler, who originally did my fill in and placed the jewels. I was in the area earlier than my scheduled time, and the front desk associate insisted I could come in earlier for the nail fix. Tyler conveniently wasn’t there, so another extremely rude tech “fixed” my nail. She never acknowledged me, spoke to her coworkers in another language, and once she was done she just walked away. Like what?!? Oh yeah, and I was charged $5 to fix a nail that didn’t even last a week!Need I mention, the manager was extremely dismissive and incompetent. This business is a mere reflection of their leadership, therefore, I definitely recommend investing in Leadership Management/Conflict Resolution courses, or new management maybe... just a suggestion.Lastly, I’ve observed their poorly rated google review responses, and “VNS” generally responds with an excuse for their actions. The lack of accountability is disgusting and furthermore, only contributes to their low morale.All in all, do not do business with “VNS”. Save yourself the time and spend your hard earned money at a well deserving establishment.xoxo

As I speak I’m here this morning 9:55am and NO TECH ARE AVAILABLE TO DO A FILL IN ! I HAVE ALREADY BEEN WAITING 10 MINUTES AND WAS TOLD THEY JUST OPENED WHICH IS 25 MINUTES AGO AND NO TECH !!!! WHAT IS UP WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!So I am starting to have mixed feelings about the customer services here. There were spaces left on my new set. When I mentioned it the tech seemed upset and after my service went to discuss me with her coworkers. Which felt awkward......

This was my first nail experience since covid and they did not disappoint. Everyone was friendly and everything was clean.

I made an appointment for a group of friends, unfortunately we still waited 30 minutes.

Clean salon and friendly technicians. They’re always so polite to my toddler and if we are there without an appointment, they’ve always done their best to squeeze us in. Really means a lot when you’ve got a toddler with you!

Amazing experience! Brand new place and everyone is so nice and friendly. I had Anthony and he was super nice and friendly and actually talked to me which was nice. The products used were amazing as well! I highly recommend, I’ll definitely be a returning customer!

Love this establishment. Last visit wasn’t as great but didn’t feel the need to lower the score because of one nail tech. However I will be sure not to sit with her again. Nails were messy, chipping the next day and honestly not worth $30. I could’ve done a better job

I have been going here since they first opened up! I recently moved to this area around oct....and needed to get my nails and feet done I am super picky about my nails and feet and since day one when I first came, I had an amazing experience I have been returning every month ritually to get dips and a pedicure.Granted there have been new people, that may lack the experience but I don’t see that and it’s actually really great that they are getting more staff because they are getting more customers. From the first day they opened when I first showed up to now I can tell the difference in how many people are now going there.The negative feedback, I don’t agree with and I feel it just depends on the time of day and how busy it is. Yes granted it is important to provide friendly customer service at all times....but not everyone has good days every day and it is important to bring the feedback back to the manager while there so they can address it, and it isn’t like they haven’t tried to correct their wrong doings either- in my eyes they still deserve 5 stars everyone is trying to do their best!Looking forward to going back this week to get pampered again for this month!

Nice place but the guy who did my acrylics cant do it right. I have to go back for the second time to get my nails fixed because nail polish just peels off and acrylic cracks and fall off. Ive never had to get my nails fixed before. I am Never getting them done there again

The customer service is great the results are just okay. I got regular polish and it didnt last 3 days. It is a little over priced for how long the regular manicure and pedicure will last.

Came here one week ago for the first time to get a fill.One week later ones cracked, ones came off and all the polish is chipping.I’ve had acrylics 14 yrs now and never once had this happen. I thought I’d give them the chance to make it right - came in here 30 min told the “manager” what happened and she told to make an appt or it would be a 30 min wait. While I’ve been sitting here waiting for a correction on their staffs mistakes she’s walking around chatting with her staff and even arguing with 2 ladies who made appts for wax’s but apparently can’t get a wax today?! Horrible service.May be a beautiful place with nice decor but if your staff can’t do nails and the managers not customer service oriented doubt they’ll be there long.

Went in on Friday before my vacation just got a gel polish since it was my first time going it is Tuesday and 4 nails have peeled off the gel polish. Very disappointed after paying $25 for gel polish to last less then 5 days.

Jason was very unprofessional. At one point I asked my friend if she was getting a gel manicure or just gel polish and he told me to worry about my own nails. This experience was less than relaxing. From the time we walked in, he was rushing us to get to the table when we were looking at colors. I told him we would be right over and he continued to stand there and watch us, impatiently. Jason would not stop talking about the SNS powder even though we told him over and over again that we just wanted gel polish. There is a difference between upselling and harassment. I would not recommend this salon to anyone, solely based on my encounter with Jason. He even gave my friend a hard time for not understanding him very well and he kept sucking his teeth and saying “come on” when she misunderstood him.

Poor customer service!

My daughter and I went today and had regular pedi and gel mani at Viva Nail Spa - Christianbury. My daughter is very happy with both and Im very happy with pedi and about 90% happy with mani. The nail tech asked square or round and I said square (not thinking about how short my nails happened to be). I had clear put on and it really doesnt look all that great since there is only white on the corners of the nails due to the length and I feel like the nail tech might should have mentioned that my nails were a little short for square and asked if I was sure I wanted square. Had she done that I would have realized that wasnt a good idea and I would have gotten round. Other than that though, the atmosphere and customer service was great and my daughter and I will be returning. It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

Very poor service. After scheduling an appointment for regular pedicure and acrylic full set and signing in for the same on arrival, the attendant messed up on pedicure as she didnt understand English and she was not translated clear instructions in her languy so as to clarify what service I had signed up for. I paid for their mistake and they still treated me badly and with anger while getting my acrylic full set done.

On 7/4/19 I took four members of my family to Viva Nail Spa to receive Pedicures and I had SNS Dipping done. On 7/8/19 I returned back to the shop due to 8 of 10 SNS nails being chipped/cracked. From previous visits I knew that I had up to two weeks for repairs. After my original nail tech looked at my nails she suggested that I switch to acrylic and gel polish because if I went with SNS again they would break again. I agreed and was set up with a different nail tech. After my nails were fixed, I provided the tip to the receptionist and attempted to confirm that I was all set. The receptionist advised that I owed $40. I asked why... since this was a repair and it was suggested that I switch to acrylic...a service that cost the same as SNS since it was a full set. I explained that I was not told that I would need to pay for a new service and I even confirmed before the SNS was soaked off that the cost was the same because if it were higher I’m sure I would’ve needed to pay the difference. A manager was called on the phone and they offered to take 50% off. I declined the offer and advised that there’s a miscommunication. The nail tech who suggested that I switch to acrylic approached me and advised that she did tell me that there would be a new fee. This is not the the truth! I would have NEVER agree to a different service if I had to pay another $40 being that I just paid $40 four days ago.I will not be returning to this nail salon and I hope all who reads this review will take everything I mentioned into consideration. Not only did I just spend the $40 as I previously mentioned, I brought four family members with me....additional business.I was offered the option to soak the nails off and be provided with a $20 giftcard and $10 credit which I declined because at that point I knew I would never return. Also, who has the time to sit and allow you to soak off my nails that were just done, give me a gift card and credit that’s less than what I originally paid then offer to redo my nails. This makes no sense. Worst salon Ive ever been to! Do not use this salon! Technician had to redo my nails twice and it took 3 hours to have them done. Manager was rude to ME when the technician had to redo the base coat she had incorrectly applied. Tried to contact Tony the owner and was told he was too busy to talk. Will not return to this salon.

Was very pleased with the service and the nail techs were very friendly and always had conversation I will plan on going back here again if ever in the area

Loved it but I got a new guy he was slow but did a great!

The new location looks great! We love Nhi and Mai, always have a great experience here, and never go anywhere else to get our nails done!

Tried this salon w my daughters this morning. Customer service was ok but My daughter got a princess pedi and at checkout, they added a charge for cutting her cuticles...that’s what a pedicure is?!??!?Too many other good options for mani/pedi services. Will not likely return here.
