I love Lee and Vivian and I have been going there since I was 13 and Im 34 now Ive never had a complaint theyve always done awesome on my nails and toes I highly recommend them

This place took me and my mom last minute before closing today. They were not rushed even though it would be understandable if they were.I forgot the mans name who did my mani/pedi but he did a great job, attention to detail and it seemed to me he cares a lot about what he does.

Didnt do what I asked for, then the man made one nail thicker than the other and proceeded to be in a rush, with his own liking.

Took me right in. Great customer service. Beautiful gel manicure

DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PHYSICALLY VIOLATED, TREATED POORLY AND HAVE YOUT TIME WASTED. Typically I get my nails done at a shop in Oakland, but since Ive been in Concord, Id been looking for a new nail shop.I called prior to walking into Citi Nail on Friday just to check the prices for a full set. I found them reasonable for a full set and Gel Polish, so I decided to go in and give them a try. Lisa was my initial nail tech and was very polite at first. I mentioned to her my thumb wasnt straight and said shed fix it. It wasnt until I got home and got a second opinion from my sister that we noticed the thumb nail on my left hand still wasnt straight after she fixed it. I called the shop right away to ask if I could get it done over and let them know that I would be in the next day. The man on the phone (owner Lee) said okay come in. I came in Saturday and Lisa began to fix the nail. I explained to her atleast 3 times that the nail would need to be removed since its already molded in acrylic unevenly and cant be fixed by filing. Instead she proceeds to file my nails on both thumbs in too far instead of just redoing my left thumb to match my right. Now making both my nails uneven, stiletto shape as opposed to almond which is what I asked and paid for upon initially getting them done.The man that owns the shop comes over and taps me on my shoulder 3 times pretty hard with the back of his hand(First Physical Violation) than points for me to sit in his chair instead of politely asking me to come over so he can fix it.I found that to be EXTREMELY aggressive and rude. He proceeds to clip down the tip of my nails only removing the tip, not the whole Acrylic. He then adds another tip on my nail then proceeds to put the acrylic over the old acrylic making my nail extremely bulky, like a bubble, causing alot of pressure on my natural nail underneath. As well as them being to long. As I am looking at my nail he then tossed the nail file at me and tells me that I can file them down myself.(Second Physical Violation).I explained why I was unhappy about my service and had asked for a refund. Even telling him he can clip the nails off because I just want my money back.The owner, Lee proceeds to laugh in my face about the situation, being absurdly rude in front of other customers and tells me how it doesnt work like that and that I cant have my money back. I left the shop in tears, frustrated and traumatized by the treatment Id received. I was never rude, raised my voice or came off with the slightest bit of aggression. All I did was ask for a service THAT I PAID FOR WITH MY HARD EARNED MONEY, to deserve how Id been treated.(even tipped the first time I came in). I dont see how this place has gotten 4 star ratings or is still even in business. I had to go to another shop to have them cut down, refile and soak my nails in acetone to thin them out because the acrylic was so thick causing pain to my thumb nail which COST ME MORE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY.EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If you have a preference on how you want your nails to be and are paying for a service DONT EXPECT THAT FROM CITI NAIL. Its as if asking for what youre paying for is an inconvenience for them to do. If thats the case you shouldnt be in the service industry. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

My wife has been getting her nails done there for many years now and through covid 19 there are still open. Great place

I love how lee pays so much attention to detail.. I had chosen a color and once he started painting he said it was no good he is so amazing. I definitely recommend ..this place. But call for an appointment..

I have been a regular customer @ Citi Nails for 5 or 6 years and I find that it is very comfortable and friendly and I love Vivians work. She is very creative. I think they have a LOT of colors & different applications available.

The employees have to seriously work on their manners and how to not make their customers feel embarrassed and they should work on being gentle when working on the customers nails. Good luck.

Okay. I dont usually write reviews, but here we go.. based on the reviews, I scheduled an appointment with Lee. I was not satisfied with the overall experience. I came to the shop with a picture of how I wanted my nails done (color, shape, and designs). He shaped my nails as I wanted, but when it came to the color and design things went to the left. He seemed irritated because I was confirming the nail color.1. I cant see the gel colors through a solid white bottle.2. The gel they use is cheap. I have never seen gel polish literally run where you have to put on 4 coats.3. I have never had to have my nails filed after polish has been applied. Lee was cleaning up extra caked on polish.On a scale 1-10, my nails look like a 5.I didnt even stay for my pedicure. It was not like I came in telling Lee how I wanted my nails, I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted. With the total vibe I received, I just said Forget It so he can just finish my nails. It wasnt a horrible experience, but it wasnt good enough to give a second chance to go back.

Been going here for years cant beat the price versus other places. Call to make appt. Walk ins rarely get in unless for pedicure in mornings

Wanted my natural nail cofin shaped almost(narrow not square), ..ended up shaping my own nails it was such trouble apparently

So I had just moved from out of state and before I left I had taken my acrylic off because I wasnt sure I was going to find a nail tech as good as the one I had back at home. So when I got here my nails were weak and I decided to get my acrylic put back on. Thats where this place comes in...I had walked in with a regular nail polish I had bought at a beauty store asking for a full set and a color change on my toes (I had just gotten a pedi the week before and I just wanted my nails to match my toes). The nail tech sat me down in the pedi chair to do my toes and immediately started talking loud in her language and laughing while changing my polish. When she was almost done, THEN she spoke to me and said Its a pretty color you chose. (eye-roll) I said thank you and told her where I got it from. Then she took me over to her desk so she could do my nails.First of all, she sanded my nails down to the point to where my nails started to hurt because she was too lazy to take the gel polish off by soaking. And she told me that the gel polish was hard to take off so when she started to put the acrylic on my nails, the WAS STILL GEL POLISH ON MY NAILS! (usually at other salons they would buff the gel polish and then foil your nails to have it come off completely)Since my nails grow fast, I dont get tips put on my nails when I get acrylic so when she started to pull out the tip pieces I told her i didnt want tips, she seemed super annoyed.So now comes part for the pay: The entire time she was doing my nails I was look up at the pricing sheet calculating how much it was going to be because they have two prices one for paying cash and one for paying with a card. So for a color change and a full set, paying with a card, it should have been $33. When it came time to pay, the lady told me that it was going to be $33 but since youre paying in card its going to be $35... (eye-roll) Originally I was going to leave a $5 tip because thats what I always do but after she said that she was going to charge me another 2 dollars when I didnt get tips on my nails and didnt get the gel polish off my nails completely I just let that extra $2 be her tip.She told me to sit at a table to let my nails dry but kids were at the one that closest to me and when I went to the other one it seemed like it was just a black light and no wind was blowing and she didnt even try to assist me in turning it on. I ended up just leaving before they were done drying because I was ready to get away from them. It kind of sucks because I actually liked how my nails looked but the service was so horrible and she upcharged me, I couldnt go back.

Terrible place for SNS or dip powder. My powder came off within 72 hours. Got one nail fixed. Got home, then another came right off. I will never go back

It is veey inexpensive and they do a wonderdul job.

One of the staff was really rude, she treated me really bad, they charged me 40 USD for aclyric, they used terrible nail polish within two days my nails look terrible and white manicure turned to grey, will never get my nails done there again
