Pretty simple, just an open grassy area. Theres a big dog area and a small dog area, with a small staging area in between. It would be a little nicer with some shade, but not a bad dog park at all. Theres all of Newhall Park to walk around and explore too, which is a great plus.

Only decent when not watered, otherwise it is a mud fest. For some unknown reasons this park is watered almost daily. Everytime I take my pup (4 or 5 times a week) I regret going there with my first step in the dog park. Obviously the people in charge of irrigation never step inside to make sure that the grass is dry enough to walk on it. Also there is a huge hole of mud that looks like an irresistable mud tub for the dogs. They tried to fill with dirt a few times just to have it becomes a brand new mud tub the next day. The dog park itself is nice one, but its maintenance makes it a muddy trip.
