Of the local PF I pick this one to go to most often. Usually not very crowded but never empty. Clean and well stocked.

Poor management poor cleanliness the bathroom is horrible at least the men’s one is garbage cans filled with trash every time I come in I come to the gym three days a week and literally it’s the same every time I come. Most paper towel holders are empty Squirt bottles with sanitation liquid in them are always low. Hydro beds barely work the people at the front desk barely work the young workers there seem to always have an attitude. I live in Concord and I Started going to the Antioch planet fitness.

While there were three staff members at the front desk there was nobody amongst the equipment enforcing the mask mandate. There were multiple people working out without masks on. With as severe Covid is, this is a major health and safety concern.

The location and the facility is fine, I had to cancel due to a law that the county put in place. Protect the vaccinated from the vaccinated mentality.

They dont care about making sure everyone is wearing a mask. I saw a bunch of people working out like theyre better than everyone else and they dont need to follow the rules. If they keep doing that then Im just going to stop wearing a mask. Its dumb too because they have to check-in in front of all the staff and not one person says anything. If the state starts enforcing vaccine mandate they better not enforce that either. Also the bathroom is always dirty.

Perfect place to work out if your looking for a judgement free zone and good vibes.

Planet fitness really is a great gym for people starting out, getting back into it, or wanting a cool gym without pressure from gym rats if you know what I mean?! Great price for all the services offered.

Planet Fitness is an amazing place to work out individually or with friends and family, the atmosphere is so positive and encouraging, they have a weight area with various types of weights to use, from dumbbells to weight benches and machines, they have gazelles machines, tredmills, rowing machines, they have showers so much more, you can even workout with a personal trainer if you need to. Its such a wonderful place to get your sexy back. Lol

I would like to give a shout out to Yecinia. Super profesional, personable, and effective. Due to Covid, I havent been to the gym in a year and a half. Yecinia was great at walking me through the new sign in process, including getting my guests app up and running too. Helpful with the massage chair use too. Employees can make or break a business. Yecinia is a keeper, Planet Fitness.

They took out all there bike strap for the feet to stay in the bike, now I cant bike like I used to cause my feet keeps falling off, dont understand that

After being a member of another gym and switching due to the decreased availability of the previous gym - I do not plan on switching to another gym anytime soon.The Black Card membership price is undefeated.With perks including discounts, bring a friend free, the total body enhancement machine (one of my favorites), hydro massages and more!There are cleaning stations available in every section for members to sanitize after usage of anything touched. Staff is typically always on-top of also sanitizing after as well!PF has a max capacity of members allowed in the gym at any given time so on occasion there are lines, but I don’t mind the wait. I’m greeted by incredibly friendly staff members and almost always getting to a machine or weights with no wait.I really have no complaints!

Its a good place to go and if you dont want anybody to watch you or you feel intimidated you can go at any given time 24/7 its open and theyre very very nice there and its worth $26 a month for massage beds massage chairs tanning booths you can stand up and tanning booze or you can lay down in the bed they have showers they have all the equipment you need to work out there is no endure swimming pool though however you have to find that on your own but well worth it

IM NOT A FAN OF; places like this. It has been my experience that its more like a meat market than an exercise club...they dont accept credit cards but they do accept checks or cash. They way they explained it made me even angrier so you really dont want me leaving a review and Ive probably already overstayed my welcome!

This just happened. Workers couldnt care less. Locker got broken into. I was walked back over to the locker room and was shown a sign about how Planet Fitness is not liable for it. Cool.

Always a great workout. Great employees. Sometimes you may be inline but i was informed today they are upping capacity every few weeks, so soon no line is needed.

I agreed with previous review that they do not enforce the masking rule. Customers will come in without the masks, then the staffs ask the customers to wear mask. As soon as the customers checked in, the take their masks done, or do it in a gesture way without covering the nose.

This gym has an app where you can access the crowd meter, which lets you know if the gym is at max COVID capacity. I always look at it before I leave the house. When I tried to enter the gym this morning they told me they were at full capacity.. even though the app said they were only at half.. I was then told to wait outside in 50° weather.. if the app showed that you were at full capacity then I would have waited to leave the house.. after I was turned away from the gym I checked the crowd meter again and it showed the gym at half capacity..

A small gym, but there were friendly staff and the gym-goers were also friendly/amiable.Some machines are better than other planet fitness Ive been to, some are worse.I went during the lunch hour on a Tuesday, so I cant comment on how packed it may become, but with how small it is Im sure it could become crowded.All in all Im impressed by the atmosphere and how few people were there.Will be going again.

Ive had several gym memberships in my life. Planet fitness is by far the best gym Ive ever belonged to. I feel very comfortable there and have been consistent in going. Its affordable, clean and even when busy theres not too many people. Im happy I joined and cant imagine belonging to any other gym.

This gym is always clean! Staff is friendly too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is ALWAYS busy. I just changed locations and my old location had peak times of course, but it wasn’t always packed. This gym always seems to be busy. Happy to see people getting on their fitness game though. So can’t complain.

Cool staff. Very clean and lots of machines. For a planet fitness, its pretty good. Definitely not a real serious gym if youre looking to lift and build serious muscle, but suitable enough for a beginner. I live equally far from the Pittsburg Planet Fitness but I choose to come here because its better.

I hate this gym. Literally the most judgemental gym Ive ever worked out at.I was bench pressing to exhaustion, and accidentally clanged the bar back on the rack a little bit. And the staff hit the link alarm on me. Ive never been so embarrassed in my entire life. I left as quickly as I could, and I didnt go back there for over a year. Now I refuse to go in unless Im with someone else.If you can afford to go LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE, do it!

I started about a 2 months ago. The place is clean and nice looking and the staff is friendly. Place is crowded but never usually have a problem finding a machine when I go. Im loving it so far.

Really good gym for beginners. The gym focuses on being a judgment free zone and not intimidating anyone. There are pictures on all of the machines that help guide you through using the equipment without having to ask anyone or try to struggle through yourself. They also offer a room set up with a timer on the wall and numbered equipment so you can do the recommended routine for the appropriate time, if youre not sure where you should start.The massage bed and chairs and tanning booth are pretty fun too, for $20 a month I think this is a great deal.

I have been coming here for a year now I love this gym. Donnisha was the trainer here but left last week. For the work that these trainer do they should make a better income. She was an excellent trainer working two jobs. Training was serious to her, she should have never been able to walk out those. She was very well liked and did a excellent job.

Nice staff, clean facilities. Crowded during peak areas, but could still get a good workout in.Parking leaves something to be desired though. Would recommend going outside or 5-7 pm.

Started a month ago... first time gym member... nice place... plenty of machines to work on... plenty of TVs to watch with sound output to each Treadmill/bike or elliptical so you can listen to the show you wish... or skip around a commercials. Nice staff. Clean place.

I have noticed that i have issues connecting to the Wifi and it is very frustrating.I have mentioned this several times to the staff yet nothing has changed. At the same time the staff here are professional with an outgoing demeanor.They make sure that their equipment, locker rooms/showers are tidy and sanitized, which is important to me!!! I have always liked the non-intimidating vibe at planet fitness. The pizza and bagels are a nice bonus !!

Very friendly staff. I upgraded to the black card membership. Gives you extra perks at the gym including massage chairs and tanning. Well worth it. Clean place and comfortable for anyone to get a good workout without any pro body builders making you feel uncomfortable. Really is a judgement free zone.

They tell you its easy to cancel because i moved. The very next morning they charged me for 2 months. Buyer beware. Go to Golds Gym or anywhere else. I was on a month to month pay with auto pay from my credit card.

STOP STEALING MONEY FROM ME! Can I just say this I use to love this place it’s clean and reliable late nights but I decided to move to city sports closer to where I live. Now.. I canceled my account last June and until now they are still taking money in my account. I spoke to the manager called the place so many times and left messages to call me back ASAP and the manager which I think is her last name Johnson have not called me back almost two months now. YESSSS! they just charge me for the month of December!!!! AGAIN!...... UNAUTHORIZED!!!! BUYER BEWARE! SOME SCAM IS GOING ONN IN THIS PLACE! And the people that works here doesn’t give a dam about it! I GOT RECITES BUT apparently it’s not enough for them to acknowledge it! STOP STEALING MONEY FROM ME! AND HIRE BETTER EMPLOYEES!

Hidden contracts!!!! The gym is fine, very clean and organized. However upon gaining a membership I was told to sign an agreement that the staff member said I would be unable to read until I signed. I questioned the method of signing something that I was unable to read however I needed a short and quick membership. Now I am trying to cancel and no longer live anywhere near a planet fitness, they have told me I can only cancel by coming in (which I cannot do) or by certified mail (I live miles away from a post office in Alaska and doing so would be crazy just to cancel). I understand it is their policy, however, as they do not give people a chance to read the contract they make them sign (and with bargaining power as the signee) it was shocking to learn how complicated they have made this regardless of the age of electronic technology.

I like the gym very much. I never had problems with fitness centers like 24hr or Golds Gym. I just like this place better because for the price that I pay, $10, I get more than I need. Constant hot water in the shower and really tiny lockers are the only issues with this place.

While the locker rooms and bathrooms could be cleaner I still think this is an amazing location.They have everything you need, machines, weights, tanning beds and they’re open 24 hours.The staff is friendly too.

Nice gym but come on the bathroom is disgusting. Been in gas station bathrooms that are cleaner. Also turn the music down everyone is wearing headphones in the gym all you do is make everyone have to listen there preferred music even louder

The restrooms are worse then a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Never any toilet paper, soap or paper towels. Floors are always littered with paper products. Most of the staff is rude and not accommodating. No effort is made to keep the gym floor clean. Only good thing is the price...

Adding on to what another customer at this location experienced. Been a member for over a year and transferred to this location. The online systems will not take your info to make the transfer. Calling corporate is a lost cause. Was on hold for 20 minutes and no one answered the phone. Called this club to see what the issue was and was advised to CANCEL MY ACCOUNT AND CREATE A NEW ONE. Talk about lazy. Even inquired the employee I was talking to (Ariana) about another corporate phone number, you know, to reach an actual person, and was told by that she didnt know it. Upon asking if she could look up the number, I was put on hold and no one ever came back on the line. Hung up to call back and was placed on immediate hold. Utilize this location if youre a fan of incompetence. Machines are nice. My daughter, husband, son and I all love this gym. It is clean and everyone seems focused on themselves. No one is watching my weight but me. Least that what I think. lol! Overall a great place to work out and not be embarrassed to do so. Will continue to work to get my chunky but in shape. lol!

It boggles my mind that a company this large does not have a central data system for cataloging members. This is a relatively new location. It is cleaned the staff is friendly. Its getting more popular so before and after work it is pretty busy. That said, I have never had to wait for a machine.

I like this place and the staff, actually. The head manager is always nice, knowledgable and professional. And the place is kept pretty clean, too.My one and only gripe is that, as a Black Card member, I wish that the time on the hydration massage beds is a little bit longer than what they program.Last night, I went to the Planet Fitness on MacArthur in Oakland, and I actually got over 9 minutes on the bed! I told the staff there about how grateful I was for the longer time and they informed me that all of the Planet Fitness locations should be doing the same time duration.I feel like my sessions in Concord are less than that. If I am remembering it wrong, then I am wrong...but I swear like I get only 5 minutes on those things.Other than that, I am grateful for having this PF location. Thanks.***Update 11/12/2016***So just a few minutes ago, I asked the customer service rep at the front desk. He honestly didnt know, but he had a very educated guess that I didnt even consider: when the gym is super packed and there is a line of people wanting to use either the massage chairs or beds, they keep the time a little smaller so that they can get everyone to at least get a run of it. That actually made a lot of sense to me. Maybe the general manager might be able to confirm or clarify the actual answer soon? Stay tuned.***Update 11/18/2016***Mystery solved! So I spoke to two reps a while ago before using the hydromassage bed. One of them told me it was seven minutes, so I told them how I spoke to someone else at this gym and what was quoted to me from the MacArthur (Oakland) location. She clarified to me that the Concord location is franchised, while the MacArthur location was part of the corporate side. Two different standards.She also said to me that I can just ask for another round on the bed, if I needed it.There you go. Four stars went up to five!
