Hired this contractor for replacing skylights and fixing a roof leak(total cost $4500). In short, this work was never completed. Initial job scheduled 10/22/19. After that date, at no time was my roof not leaking into my house and causing damage. Alex attempted for 15+ days(between 10/22/19 and 3/24/20) to fix this and resolve significant leaking during every rain. I had to hire another company(Truguard) to complete the work. The second contractor found that the skylights were installed incorrectly and damaged during installation so needed to be replaced. They were able to resolve the issue in 2 days. We tried seeking a refund from Alex but he really didnt care that we just had to pay for all of the work again(~$5000). He did agree to refunding the $1300 tune-up guarantee. He never actually did this and hasnt responded to an email since. All correspondence regarding this work has been saved. Ive since had to have the other repairs performed by Alex redone by Truguard. I got the sense that Alex believes he put the hours of work in and is entitled to what he was paid, regardless of the outcome for he homeowner.
