RE-BATH remodeled my master bathroom last month and I could not be happier with the outcome. All the products they use are top notch. Their craftsmen are all well trained, efficient and very polite. Pricing is somewhat higher but for the quality I did not have any regrets. The end result has been quite literally breathtaking....go for it and use RE-BATH for your bath remodeling projects !!

I was referred to Re-Bath by Lowes to remodel a half bath, and to replace the bathtub/shower with a walk-in shower in my other bathroom. I am extremely satisfied with the work they have done!Having never hired a contractor before, I didnt know what to expect, and it was such an easy process. I especially appreciated that they came to me with all the samples and let me see and choose materials in my living room. During a pandemic, this was very important to me, as I am high risk. Everyone who came to my home wore masks and kept an appropriate distance throughout the project. They handled everything, so I didnt have to do a thing. Both projects were completed quickly and efficiently...the half bath in three days and the bathtub-to-shower and flooring in less than a week. Other contractors estimated at least a month for just the shower project. The project manager, Jason, was so helpful throughout the project.I highly recommend Re-Bath to anyone needing a bathroom remodel. Although I paid more than anticipated, the products are good quality and they will stand by their work. I love my new bathrooms, especially my shower...it feels like being in a luxury hotel!

Our experience with Re-Bath was outstanding. When we signed up for a free consultation online, they were efficient in getting back to us. Everyone we made contact with by e-mail, phone or in person were helpful, courteous and friendly. If one person didnt have an answer to a question we were contacted almost immediately by someone with the answers. Communication is flawless! The consultant and project manager were patient in helping us choices in our design. They were very knowledgeable and always had suggestions to offer. The construction crew was courteous, efficient in getting job done and cleaned up at the end of each day. We were pleased to have a beautiful new bathroom in less than one week! We love the security that they guarantee their work. Their website is helpful in seeing what they have to offer, but for me going to their showroom in Concord, CA was extremely helpful to get ideas of what I wanted. Even the staff at the showroom was knowledgeable and helpful. It isnt a company you work with everyday that makes you feel like family. Re-Bath treats you like family and wants to make their customers happy. Thank you Re-Bath. I will recommend you to family and friends!

We had been patiently interviewing contractors specializing in bathroom remodel for several months without any luck. We came across Re-Bath via Home Depot - and until then (November 2020), we had never heard of them. Upon investigating further, we realized this was a nation-wide chain with a showroom in Concord (California). Our first experience was the home visit by Rob Rathbun (their designer). At that time, it felt strange that both spouses had to be present for the session but once you rationalize it and examine it from their point of view, it makes total sense. Rob was very patient, very creative, gave us plenty of suggestions, showed us all the different samples, and did not rush us. This was in complete contrast to all the other contractors who had visited us before, most of who did not even bother to send us a written estimate. Highlight #1 for Re-Bath: They will work very closely with you (the customer). After several weeks, we visited their showroom (still with Rob) - this was a few days before Christmas 2020. What we saw impressed us. Rob took the trouble to work with both our adult kids so that both bathrooms met their taste and requirements; the entire session was spread over 3-4 hours; he took his time to work with us.The actual remodel started in late May / early June by their very efficient team (father and son) of Jaime and Sergio. They would arrive promptly, followed all Covid-19 regulations, kept the place extremely tidy, and we did not even realize they were working inside the house. Sure there were moments of questions with them and their office on a few design changes but Re-Bath accommodated our every question promptly. We did have challenges with the design in one of the bathrooms (not because of their oversight) because we had failed to properly visualize and understand the constraints of that bathroom. Re-Bath called in their project managers, and after a few hours of brainstorming, everything was sorted out, and the work got completed. During the 2 weeks, they dealt with the City of San Jose inspectors.Highlight #2: I am sure they have other installers but if you have a chance, please request for Jaime & Sergio. Phenomenally friendly duo, exceptionally professional and superb with their installation. A big shout-out to their painter Eric Vann who made both bathrooms look fantastic (remember, both bathrooms had been demolished entirely).A month later, their custom shower door crew showed up to finish installation in one of the bathrooms. All in all - for a family that had never heard of Re-Bath (Bay area) until November 2020, we were highly impressed with the quality of the work, the attention to detail, the final finish, and their very friendly crew. We highly recommend Re-Bath to anyone who is interested.

Master bath remodel was great and on time, good workmanship. completed in 2012. however - the Wolverine brass fittings were low quality and are no longer installed by Rebath. No wonder. Bathroom sink cartridges were replaced one year ago, bathtub faucet cartridge replaced about 3 years ago twice, now famous TOTO toilet filling cycle sounds like the loudest foghorn in San Francisco port. For comparison: my kitchen remodel on 2002 included new kitchen sink, American standard faucet - no problem to this date, 2004 hallway bath remodel with Moen faucet in sink - no problem. So, 2012 installation by Rebath - ? Your decision.

I connected with Rebath through Home Depot’s bathroom remodel service. The sales person was very thorough in explaining what is needed to upgrade our bathroom. He answered all our questions. I was told it was going to take 3-4 days to complete. The remodel started a week before Christmas week. I did t know the city inspector did not show up and no one told me this was going to cause a delay finishing the remodel. This was my only bathroom and I have 2 little kids. Rebath covered out hotel say for that weekend. The rough install was approved after Christmas. It took an additional day to complete the install and I was told at the end of the day as they were about to leave. Another team came in to paint the bathroom and finish up everything. The rating I would give on that part of the job is a 2. The painter rushed and didn’t pay attention to detail. I had to call the operations manager a couple of times to voice my concerns. They sent out another painter to complete the work. I scheduled the final inspection with the city mid January. The inspector wouldn’t sign because the rough inspection was not fully signed and approved. Another installer had to come back the same day the city inspector was going to do the final inspection to answer any question. The city inspector finally signed off the last week of January. I’m happy with the finished project but not happy about the length of times they had to come back to complete the job.

Well, I tried to use them for my bathroom remodel. I had an appointment scheduled and the day prior to the appointment I received an email when I was at work requesting a confirmation, therefore I didnt check my personal email until after I was off of work. Well, the email said I had to respond by 1 that same day. I called and they had canceled my appointment because I didnt respond within 4 HOURS???. I had already waited two weeks and choose not to wait another 2 weeks for an appointment. Clearly they dont want my business or they would have at least called and left a message. Terrible customer service up front so why would I use them?

Review №25

Just writing this as a warning to those of you considering Rebath: If you make an appointment, dont consider it firm unless you confirm it with them more than 24 hours in-advance. Make sure to put that confirmation on your calendar well in-advance - because they may or may not mention the necessity of it. I had an appointment that I thought to be firmly on the calendar for 2 PM tomorrow (Monday), set several weeks in advance. They called to confirm starting at 10 this AM, and sent a follow up email, and I - being busy actually cleaning up around the house in preparation for their visit tomorrow - was not on email and did not receive the phone message until Id finished cleaning, around 3 PM, at which point I promptly returned the call, still well within business hours, to confirm my appointment for the next day, only to be told that because I did not confirm by 1 PM my appointment was already given away to a wait-list person, and would have to be rescheduled for Oct. There had been no prior communication re: a need to confirm more than 24 hours in-advance (which should have first been communicated to me when I made the appointment, in which case I would have made a point to put a confirmation reminder on the calendar as well), it was not specified in the original confirmation email, nor was a 1 PM deadline communicated in the voicemail message on the day-of, itself - it was only mentioned in the followup email, which I did not receive due to it being a Sunday and I not being on email. Apparently communication is not their strong point - which is important in these types of projects, nor does customer service appear to be particularly important, and it seems their time matters more than mine. Very disappointing initial experience, which will certainly impact my likelihood of using or recommending their services. Heres hoping the now delayed-again appointment is extra compelling...

Wish Id never hired Re-Bath. Everything they installed looked and worked fine, and I was initially happy with them. However, later the shower door began to fall off because it was installed with no backing for support. Last month Re-Bath replaced our shower and bathroom floor. Re-Bath’s salesman was knowledgeable, experienced, and very helpful. He brought all the appropriate samples when he visited our house, and did some preliminary measurements. He also explained the building permit and licensing process. Prior to scheduling his appointment, we had visited the showroom in Concord and were most impressed with the range of options they presented. The materials they used appear to be top-quality and were all readily available. We had been told by others that our shower was some sort of special order and might not even be available, requiring the construction of a wall to fit what they could provide. Because Re-Bath has their own factory, all parts were custom-made and all fit exactly.Re-Bath was more than willing to schedule the installation at our convenience. The installation took two days, as predicted. There were two minor details that required final adjustments. Re-Bath was very co-operative in scheduling a follow-up visit, which solved both problems.Measurements for the glass shower doors are not taken until after the rest of the shower is installed, to allow a precise fit. Again, the appointment was scheduled quickly, but conveniently, and the glass doors were ready when promised. Again, the installation was quick and extremely well done by expert technicians.Overall, we give Re-Bath an excellent rating for their replacement of our shower and bathroom floor. It is unrealistic to expect any construction project to not encounter unforeseen and novel problems along the way, but the true measure of the quality of a contractor, and especially of their technicians, is their willingness and ability to deal appropriately with those occurrences. Re-Bath did that.

Samples were brought to our home which simplified decisions. I was pleasantly surprised by the range and quality of the materials. They accommodated a last minute change order without hesitation. The job was completed in one week. I used to hate the guest bathroom in our home and now find it fresh, clean, stylish and modern. I recently used Re-Bath to remodel my master bathroom shower. I enjoyed their process of going through their product choices (all very nice) and really appreciated their salesman. Once I selected my products I was immediately contacted by the project manager who updated me on the project start and timeline. The project manager called me every week to update me on the material build out, it was great when the project started a couple weeks early. The installation was fantastic and on one-time. I will note that on the first day of the install the installer called me to alert me of a dry-wood termite problem. The install team let my pest inspector come in and asses the issue. I called them, just pre-installation shopping, to ask some questions, informed by a plumber with whom I had spoken earlier that day. The woman who answered was condescending, and gave pat, one-size-fits all answers that showed she didnt understand my questions. Both she and another phone person just put me on a long hold when I asked a question they couldnt answer, instead of transferring me to someone like a knowledgeable installation technician. Eventually I got the idea that they are salespeople with little knowledge, whose job is just to give you a hard sell. Then the first woman came back on the phone and said they wouldnt work with me. So I asked, Do you mean that when a person makes a first phone call and asks some questions, you wont work with them? Then she got all apologetic, but at that point I thought to myself, you know what, Ill look for other vendors. Moral of the story: when youre beyond rude to a first time caller, youre probably going to lose a sale. And if youre trying to shame people for asking questions, youre probably not a very good business.

Check to make sure all the screws are in, accessories are straight, etc. When inquiring about an estimate, several Rebath representatives will constantly call and e-mail you about the appointment, asking over and over if both spouses will be there. It got to the point where I finally e-mailed them saying were both going to be at the appointment and to consider the e-mail as a final confirmation. When the salesperson arrives, be ready for an EXTREMELY long sales pitch (2-3 hours)...this is where the quality of the product will help tolerate this waste of time. Well the day they were supposed to start the work came and I had taken the day off to be there. They did not show up. I called them twice, once at 9AM and another time at 10AM. They called me back at 2PM and said that they will not come that day because the start date on the contract was a couple of weeks later. I pulled up the contract and saw that they were clearly lying. Took a picture of the contract and texted to them. They did not care!! They came two weeks later, did a sub-standard job and did not change the facet and shower head as they were supposed to. They said that we had to pay again to replace those parts!! Their head contractor who goes by Mostafah or Moe, first told us that he would get us a credit for it, but that was a lie like the rest of the things they said.

Salesman (design consultant) Michael is a bit sales pitchy but informative and convenient to come to my house to show me options for an efficient experience. TC the scheduler is very good, kept everyone on track including the city inspector. Tom the project manager was superb and explained a lot of the details and did the technical measurements. The installers are a duo team - they pair an experienced person with a helper. Craig and Chad were super! Craig has lots of experience and Im certainly going to request the same project manager Tom and lead installer Craig (who I understand is a certified Corian installer which I will likely go with for my next bathroom remodel). The painter Johnny is fantastic- takes pride in his work and very methodical. May come across as a slow worker but hes not! Hes just doing things right in sequence. Hes an interesting personality and great attitude. If you want a contractor thats reasonable in price, above average quality of material, superb installation quality from what I can tell, and one of the biggest draws- they can remodel a bathroom in a matter of days not weeks. Mine was a 3 day job plus 4th day for painting. They were on track the entire time. And it rained most of the time! And the installers were driving in everyday from Concord to Petaluma (thats over 1.5 hours each way!). Kudos to the entire team there at Re-Bath in Concord.

Quoted me over $27k to simply re-tile a shower enclosure and tub and install a new shower door. Other estimates were less than $5k. Reason given was this job would be $5k in Waco, TX. Also gave a 2 week time required to do the job. TO RETILE AN ENCLOSURE. I hope this guy was just plain wrong, but I asked him to double check, he couldnt even tell me how many sq ft of tile it was (about 150). Minus the cost of the enclosure, thats over $150 per sq ft of tile.Cant speak to their work though, which one would hope is good enough for the International Space Station at that price.
