AJ did an awesome job. He cut 15 inches off so it could be donated, and then gave me a great cut with what was left. Kept it layered and clean and used the reference shots I brought to tailor a cut to me. Best part about it was the conversation. Id come back just to hang with the crowd again. Great place for sure.

It easy to find a barber shop in the greater concord area. It is far more difficult to find one with a great staff and a great atmosphere. South Mane Offers both. They came recommended to me and I was not disappointed, I recommend them as well

Joey is personable whether you are a squirming child or a 100 year old. He is outstanding with kids, he talks to them, distracts them- knows all the right tricks. The shop is pristine and so is his work. He is dedicated to his clients and makes everyone feel like a close friend. My whole family goes to Joey varying in ages from 2 to 60 and he never disappoints- they always look sharp. We live an hour away and would travel much further than that to see Joe, he is worth it!

Had my first cut at South Mane today. Really impressed by how clean the shop is. All of the barbers were really friendly, but most importantly, got the nod of approval from the girlfriend. Went today with my almost 2 year old. I was referred here by a couple friends. Joey was absolutely amazing. He kept my son entertained the whole time. My little boy was squirmy at times and Joey followed his lead the whole time without hesitation. He was so great to my son. Even got my son talking but the end of it. The place was very clean and everyone wore the masks the whole time. I couldn’t be happier with the experience we had. Sending my husband there next week.

Ive been taking my boys to South Mane since they opened! They love getting haircuts and styles with AJ (we followed him from his previous spot)! Joey, AJ, and Cam are all professional, friendly, and great with kids (adults too). The shop is super clean and the guys are laid back so it is always a positive experience. I also like the ability to make an appointment - very helpful as a mom with active boys who dont love waiting. Highly recommend!!

Ladies (and all others), You’ve got to go here. I’ve gone to a bunch of different places for my undercut, and nobody does it better than Joey. A lot of barbershops seem to only cater to certain folks, but it’s much more relaxed and comfortable at South Mane - they’re personable, give excellent service, and don’t force you to sit through random small talk (big plus for introverts!) and the pricing is amazing for the quality you get.

This was my first stop in the new store and it far surpassed my expectations! The shop was clean and very well lit with huge windows with views of downtown foot traffic. The staff was well aware of covid restrictions and require everyone to wear a mask and use sanitizer at every stop. I feel very comfortable the whole time in regards to covid. The staff is friendly and have clearly know each other and their customers well. The haircut is unmatched... No questions asked. They take time to make sure youre walking away with exactly what you want. My coworkers always comment on how clean my corners, edges, and fade in the back comes out. Highly recommend this spot for any of their services!
