Recently had solar panels and Tesla batteries installed, along with electrical service upgrade. The quality of the work and customer service was outstanding. Navigating the permits and PG&E process is complicated and Semper Solaris handled all of this, ensuring a great outcome. I am entirely off the grid now and dont have to worry about planned or unplanned outages - highly recommend this contractor!
Unfortunately I am having a very negative experience with Semper Solaris. Large solar and Tesla batteries installation job. They showed up for one day in November 2020 to install the panels and then abandoned the project with zero communication. After endless reach outs and wasting my valuable time they finally completed the project in January 2021 but PG&E shut down the system due to their concentration of electrical boxes very close to the gas meter. What a horrible mistake hiring these people.Update: After much effort Semper Solaris completed the project successfully and my system is now fully operational. I must commend them for doing the right thing and staying with it to turn things around. A couple of lessons learned for those contemplating going solar. 1. Pay very close attention to the solution design and in particular the location of the gas meter to any and all electrical components. They must be significantly separated. 2. Add 3+ months to the likely project completion timetable. I believe that the Utilities intentionally drag out the approval process to continue billing customers at regular rates.
Im going to keep it short and simple because I think a 1-Star rating speaks for itself. After a consultation, they never called back. I attempted 3 times to contact Semper Solaris and each time I spoke to an agent, they said someone will call me back. No one ever did. No phone calls and no emails.
