Dr. Jenkins is wonderful. Her staff have been great and flexible. Awesome facility and customer service. They were highly recommended to me from a good friend (three years ago) and I agree to this day - they are second to none.
Extremely rude office staff! I called for information and spoke to someone named Robin, who answered the phone. I was having problems understanding her, as I am hearing impaired. (Why else would I be calling a hearing aid store?) When I asked her to speak a bit louder, she sniped: Im not going to talk so loud that the whole office can hear! One would think that a business that caters exclusively to hearing-impaired customers and takes so much of our hard-earned money would be more sensitive to our unique needs. But this office definitely is not!Bottom line: if you are hearing impaired and you want to be treated with sensitivity and respect, dont come here! One more thing: If you buy your hearing aids from this place, you will receive frequent mailings with their name and logo (a great big ear!) on the envelope, so all you neighbors can know that you wear hearing aids!
Went to another establishment first and was quoted a very high price for hearing aids with batteries. My brother suggested that I be evaluated at HHS, which I did. Hearing tests indicated that aids would indeed be helpful. I was given very similar hearing aids at a HUGE savings and they came with a recharger instead of having to replace batteries.Good professional staff, friendly and ongoing 6 month check ups have been excellent.
I have been going to the Bethel Rd. office for 5+ years now. Really enjoy working with Anne, I always get my questions answered and have a pleasant visit. I can drop in between appts for cleaning, etc. They even went out of their way to help me fit a device that I inherited. The Best!!
Allison is the GREATEST.
Great experience, especially since it came as a surprise to me that I needed hearing aids. When I told my family doctor about ringing and clicking in my ears, she referred me to Ohio ENT. After testing and diagnosis, they referred me to Hearing Health Solutions across the hall, where Dr. Anne Jenkins was able to see me right away. It seems the problems I was having with hearing in restaurants and crowds and with making out words, especially on TV shows or in a theater, along with the tinnitus, are symptomatic of hearing loss stemming from a most likely hereditary inner ear problem. Dr. Jenkins showed me my hearing loss chart and explaining the types of hearing loss indicated. She did a wonderful job explaining hearing aid options to help with my specific problems, then, over a few follow-up visits, helping get me accustomed to my new hearing aids, gradually ramping up to the recommended correction levels. She always explained what she was doing and why, asked me what I was experiencing, and put it all into context. Follow-up visits during the adjustment period, as well as at six months and one year, are included. Dr. Jenkins is readily available to respond to questions via email or to follow up by phone if the very knowledgeable staff cannot answer right away. With my new hearing aids, I am enjoying restaurants, parties and shows again, and I can make out just about every word on most TV shows. An added bonus -- I can understand more song lyrics. I feel so much more confident in social situations.
Before you test or buy product from this business be sure you shop around for a lower price for the same product.
The very best!
