Love this gym. Classes are fun plus they have every piece of equipment you could need. Kiddos love the pool too. Could use a few updates (ie. drippy roof in weight room) but nothing to stop them from earning my business. Super friendly staff also!

The -1 star is for two things:1. It can always be more affordable2. Needs more options for personal trainers.

Very clean! Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. This gym is very large. Has a ladies only section, numerous classes, lap pool, water slides on other pool, tanning beds, showers and huge locker room. Membership is very reasonable.

Very indifferent to customers needs. Brought my handicapped client to play basketball. Asked to lower rims so he could be able to shoot. Workers called the owner and he refused to let them lower the rims for us. Building is not ADA compliant. Lost multiple future memberships.

Been here for almost 2 hrs. on a Monday night. There are approximately 10 people waiting to use the basketball court that should be OPEN! Full court! Grown men playing a game for over an hour, seeing other people waiting to play, and not taking it to half court is B.S. I talk to staff, and all they say is they dont know the rules and on Wed.morning she will have the screen pulled to block half the court. That does me NO good now or my kids or anyone of the other teens here waiting... If I could get out of my contract that I pay for 6 people to use, I would tonight. Glad I got my workout in, but my kids had to sit waiting.

I loved using this gym while I was in town. It was easy to get a membership for just the time I was there, and I loved having access to such a great pool and fitness center. They have something for everyone, as well as a wide variety of fitness classe! Great gym!

Its good..not very modern but it has required equipments for daily work out. It has also Kid Zone and Womens work out room. They have daily classes as well which is kind of helpful.

It’s the best fitness club in Columbus! They have all the machines for strength training and cardio exercises, also have a good indoor pool and a basketball court! The group fitness classes there are really good with great trainers! They also have a sauna rooms and tanning beds. They offer student and corporate discounts.

Very clean gym. The workers are always so nice and helpful. Good atmosphere. Occasionally its hard to get a station because of how many people workout and sometimes because people like to socialise instead of lift! (You know who you are!) With that said, best gym in town!

This is by far the best gym in the area. No extra charge for classes, and the classes are engaging and challenging; youre going to get a workout! There are plenty of equipment options. Womens separate work out room as well, if thats what you like. The swimming pool is fantastic. There is a lap pool, slide, and a childrens pool as well. I am from Seymour, and I drive to Columbus just to work out here because nothing in Seymour compares. The staff are very friendly and they know their stuff.

This is a nice facility with lots of machines, free weights, and a pool. I mostly use the pool. Lately the water is clean and the showers have soap so I gave this facility four stars

Love the pool for kids. Life guards are not always attentive but I always supervise my child too. $10 a person for the day seems high but its usually nice and not crowded.

I have had a membership for over 2 years and have been nothing but satisfied with my experience. There are always free machines and work space. The pool is great and individual lockers provide a great safe place to store personal items while heading after work. The overall cleanliness and staff is what I would expect from a gym atmosphere. Meaning helpful, encouraging, and available when or if you may need them.

I was really hesitant to join this gym after reading some of the reviews. I must say that Im glad I went in anyway. The staff was super friendly....its by far the cleanest gym Ive ever been to and Ive been transplanted a lot with my job. I love the variety of classes and the instructors and Ive not once had a problem with my billing? I know my debit card changed by my bank, I got a letter, went in to pay and update my new card number and total fitness waived the return fee. Nothing like any of the experiences I read about?! And their rates are super cheap for everything they offer. I love it at total fitness and cant imagine going anywhere else. Im hoping Im here long term with my job so I can continue to enjoy it.

I personally have had a wonderful experience at Total Fitness. The staff is friendly and always quick to help me with any questions I have. The facility is clean, well equipped, and has a great atmosphere to work out in. The members are friendly, they have a wide variety of equipment to choose from, and a lot of amenities that the other gyms in town dont have. I recommend this gym to all my friends. When I first went in I was taken on a tour of the gym and they answered any questions or concerns that I had. Go see for yourself!

It is a great place to be for working out! Its super clean and organized and has a right ambience for people with different age groups. It offers a lot for those who are ready!I had a very good experience with the staff and the owner, Amanda. She listened to me and did required modifications to my membership on time.The class instructors are the biggest asset of this gym. I had a wonderful learning experience taking classes with Martha (she is superb!), Christal, Amanda, and few others (dont remember their names well). They all are full of energy and every single moment I used to wonder how come in the world they are so energetic?:)I began my exercising journey at this gym and hope to continue with that though I will be moving out of town soon and will not be able to make it to this gym anymore.Total Fitness, I will miss you but also hope that you will continue helping people achieve their fitness goals!!

Awesome place to work out. Pool area is good except for sometimes there is such a strong smell of chlorine that its hard to breath but for the most part its a great place to work out and family playtime.

Name says it all TOTAL Fitness. Look... You can go other places that have fitness equipment some even have free pizza day. Those places are OK for someone looking to just go through the motions & those who are not concerned about obtaining lasting results. However for those that are serious about becoming healthy and fit, or want to bulk up. This is the place to go. Daycare, pools, basketball court, ladies only, classes, personnel trainers, smoothies, free weights, and cable machines.

Have only been a member for less than a month and have loved it except for maybe the hours. I like going on the weekends more because its just easier for my work schedule. Wish it was open later (like around 7 or 8).

I love this gym. It is the cleanest gym Ive ever been to. There is always someone cleaning when I am there it seems like. The layout is great, and so are the classes. Zumba and Spinning specifically are my favorites. The staff is very friendly as well. Anyone who has a problem with this gym is just flat out trying to find anything to complain and be negative about. Best gym in town.

The gym is great and I have no complains about it.These reason I give 2 stars is for the staff and the miscommunication they have among themselves and the wrong information they provide.I had a 1 year agreement, which I could cancel it when I move more than 50 miles away. I was moving out of Columbus so I went to the facility to cancel the membership. The woman at the counter gave me the cancellation form and told me that they would require a utility bill for the new place and that I will be charged for this month and not the following month . After one month when I give the bill to them they say I will be charged for the next month too since they require 30 days notice (which I had already given when I submitted the cancellation form) . Well ultimately I am charged for 2 months, when I have moved out of the city and havent even used the gym. Clearly, the staff does not know the policy and they are giving wrong information to the customers.

I love it there, they have good prices for memberships.

Good facilities, but gym is crowded with equipment.Beware... they will continue to charge your card even after canceling your membership. Ive seen a review on here before about it, and it has been happening to me. Not much integrity in this place.

Joined Total Fitness 2 years ago when we moved to Columbus. We didnt go often because we joined FXB, but kept it for my daughter and the occasional days we needed a treadmill or a class. No one at the desk ever acknowledged us when we came to the desk, too busy socializing at the smoothie bar. Then when we were greeted it was with a blank stare. Finally got around to cancelling our membership and was reminded that we had to give 30 days notice before cancellation so we were charged for another month that we cant and wont use. We live in a small town, but Total Fitness is no longer the only option....really need to step up service.

I simply dislike this place. I was a member since about half an year and needed to go out for 3 months on a work tour. I told them that I will return back and you may extend my contract for 3 months more. They simply said they cant do that. I tried to contact Amanda, who was told as the manager of the club. Neither she picks up the phone nor replies to any email. They simply took 120 dollars from my account for no reason. I tried to come back and cancel my contract. They didnt do that at all. Hence, I paid 2 months more.They just want your money. It is the worst customer care I had ever seen in my entire life. PLEASE DONT JOIN THIS CLUB. If you join, then you are screwed up. They will even charge you after your contract ends and you cancelled everything. I am sure you will be screwed up going there. Dont be confused with all those crazy machines they have inside. Those all came from screwing people like us. I wish there will be their competitor here in Columbus soon with better customer care.

There all time best gym that I have ever been a member of. This place has awesome staff. All the equipment and facilities are very well maintained. The amenities are fantastic sauna, massage therapy, tanning, full size 4 lane pool, full basketball court, daycare area. I could not all for more. The locker and shower room are always clean and in working order. The size of the gym easily accommodates a large cardio are separated from the weights area. There is even a womens only secluded area. There indoor pool area also has a play pool with tunnel slides and splash facilities, perfect for birthday parties. The gym is not 24 hours, but opens extremely early and stays open fairly late. The cost of membership is not outrageous either. Some other amenities the gym offers is free WiFi, custom smoothies (for a charge), trainer sessions, an array of fitness classes. I have had gym memberships at Ballys, Planet Fitness, Any time Fitness, YMCA and this is hands down the best of all of them. Highly recommend!

Yes this is a long review but trust me it is worth your time & money to read it!!...I witnessed the worst health and safety issue in this gym I have ever seen!!...In my whole 12 years of being training/working out in lots of different gyms across the World! (as a Pro athlete whom has competed for my country at international level) never have I witnessed a so called group fitness instructor repeatedly spitting yes (((SPITTING))) on the floor where people put there hands to do push ups and so on and then rubbing it into the rubber gym flooring with his shoes!! Then giving me attitude when I pulled him up about it! I do it all the time! Wow ok!....Well thats not for me thank you!... Id rather workout at a gym where these less attitude more respect and a whole lot better health & safety! Wow, just wow!!.....I reported it at the front desk (no replies from mangers/owners)...Email sent to manger/owner (still no replies).....So finally a written statement as to why I cancelled (still no replies!?)....Something tells me I will get a reply here as its public also when management notices the Direct Deposit has been cancelled, who knows!....Reading the rest of the reviews I can see these rather alot of 1 star ratings for this gym!! Good to see I am not alone with my 1 star rating, maybe management/owners can also reply to those people too??....Heres hoping!!

Not a good experience. Was going to join because they offered CrossFit. I ask the people who work there and they told me that their instructors were some of the top instructors around. After witnessing a couple of classes I discovered that they were actually below average. The owner (Amanda) is rude and lies. They do not even allow you to use the equipment unless an instructor is there watching you. There is barley enough room in the CrossFit area for two people to train. I later found out that I was lied to and there is actually a legit CrossFit gym in the area (812 CrossFit). The instructor there is actually the top ranked female CrossFitter in the state who actually competes on a national level. I do not understand why the owner (Amanda) would lie to me knowing that I would eventually find out the truth. Thank goodness I never signed a contract with them. BE AWARE and check everything they tell you to be the truth before you sign anything. As far as the actual gym, the place was very clean, very modern with plenty of equipment. Just cant trust them.

Since I do not have a membership and pay for a class every now and then I was disappointed when I found (after paying) the class to be full and that they had begun early.
