Parked for the game only

I attended the Women in Technology conference in 2017 at the Fawcett Event Center. Parking was a little hairy, youre sharing with the faculty and staff that work in the buildings nearby. I loved that there was a Starbucks inside and plenty of bathrooms throughout. The cafeteria area at the back was very trendy and well decorated. It was easy to move between spaces and didnt feel over crowded. My main criticism would be that it still definitely has a college dorm feel to it much more than a conference Center.

Today was my first time at this venue for a conference and it was a wonderful experience! There was a very large parking lot outside and the conference I was attending provided parking passes for convenience. There were plenty of spaces so finding a spot to park was not an issue. The venue was updated and welcoming. They had plenty of clean restrooms and a little cafe by the front entrance that even serves Starbucks. The acoustics were excellent and there were plenty of screens for presentations. I must say my favorite part of the experience was the lunch the facility provided. It was outstanding! They had salad with at least 5 different items to top it with and several choices of dressing. They also had fresh baked rolls and butter and a chickpea Mediterranean salad. The main lunch items were chicken salad croissants and caprese style sliders for a vegetarian option with a side of home made crispy chips. They even had a dessert table with many choices! I was so impressed. I will definitely attend more events at this venue and I highly recommend it.

I was a vendor at a miltary job fair. Very nice facility. Great coffee.

This was the location of the 2019 graduating class from Ohio State University. Separate locations for Wheelchairs and walkers for which I was very impressed

This is a great place for conferences and anything one would need a large meeting place for. Plenty of parking and amenities onsite. The event I attended was awesome, thanks to this venue!

Went to the 40th Bluegrass Ramble celebration. What a hoot. Great time! Good small venue.

I have attended several conferences here. Its a nice spot, with some nice lobby seating for those in-between times during conferences. Easy parking.

Bathrooms are a bit dated and the chairs in the main auditorium are not comfortable. It gives off the vibe from the chairs that it was built more 75-years ago. Definitely not comfortable for anyone who is on the plump side or bigger.

Nice for event. The staff is really accommodating. We had a nice time there.

I have attended many events [all-day conferences, large-auditorium events, and banquets] at the Fawcett Event Center during the past twenty years or so.The facilities are high-quality; the food is consistently delicious. The staff is always friendly and ready to help.My one recommendation is to be sure to enter the Fawcett Event Center via the middle door [at the base of the tall tower].The doors at the west and east ends of this rather-wide building are not for access to the public areas though sometimes they are open.One final note: if you are driving to the Fawcett Event Center from the north, please be aware that it is impossible to turn left directly from Olentangy River Rd. into the Fawcett Event Center parking lot.Turn left instead onto Argyll St. [several hundred feet north of the Fawcett Event Center] and then turn right where Argyll St. ends and then follow the service road around to the south side of the Fawcett Event Center.

At least the musty smell was gone thid year. They do have a large ballroom. Food is a 2 on a 10 scale. Servers need a lesson in proper service.

Had a great Tailgater for the Oregon State versus Ohio State football game, they hosted a nice event for us

The Fawcett Center for tomorrow, originally set up to maintain wosu TV wosu radio, a hotel and a meeting Center. No I think its businesses for the University where the hotel used to be oh, and the parking is crazy especially if you are handicapped. The premier handicap spots are far from the front door and are for faculty handicapped only. If youre lucky you will find a handicap parking space that is nondescript. I really dont know why I rated this at 5, but I guess having worked at wosu TV, and the woman that I went to meet was so friendly, I gave it a 5.

Not many people realize there is a decent restaurant inside. They have menu and a nice buffet as well.
