Beautiful venue... lighting is gorgeous and can be great for a dancefloor at night. Food was very good and wait staff were very attentive and friendly. There are no drapes or blinds over the large windows...so could not get subdued lighting during the day, and with the sun beaming in in June, it was not very cool, even with the AC on. I think an evening event would be even better (at least during a hot Summer.)
Nice atmosphere, clean facility and excellent service.
Great place to hold a wedding ceremony and reception.
Had such a great time OMG most amazing staff ever Love Jessica and Ramen. Book here for a party!! Yay!!
I just recently had my wedding here and it was wonderful! Ramen and Cathleen offer a number of services including catering, DJ services, bar, lighting, photo booths. The food is incredible, Cathleen is a wonderful chef and all of my guests loved the meal! Her staff were also all very kind, the venue itself is gorgeous and its all at a reasonable price. They have been doing weddings for years and they have truly mastered their craft.
It was wonderful, staff was very friendly and very efficient.
We didnβt appreciate showing up to our tour appointments twice for no one to show up! Very unprofessional communication and customer service.
Just had a wedding here recently. Cant say enough great things about this place.Amazing staff, very accommodating. Especially with food allergy/restrictions.The food was amazing and the portions were very generous.Wonderful venue with a huge interior space and a great very spacious dance floor. The DJ was very easy to work with, great selection of music and very personable. Not too many places to take good photos immediately outside the venue, but there are a few good parks very close by. Not worth any negative review, just as information. Good Photographers can work with the space.Overall it was an amazing place to have my wedding, My Wife and I were both very pleased with what we saw and experienced.
We just had our wedding and reception here, this past weekend. It was amazing! We selected the venue because of how incredibly helpful the owners were. They provided all of the setup, teardown, food, drinks, linens, China, and dj. The Dj and establishment owners helped us organize the ceremony and reception. They also did an amazing job with moving the event along smoothly. Our guests gushed over the beauty of the venue and amazing food! The serving staff was extremely friendly throughout the reception. We had several out of town guests arriving very early and they were so accommodating. Cathleen and Ramon are incredible people and very good at what they do! The Clock Tower is beautiful. And the people there are so kind. I strongly recommend them to anyone planning an event or wedding. My wedding was perfect, and I really believe that they were a huge part of making it so!
Surprising beautiful venue, dont worry about the location, it will blow you away. Well beyond what you would expect.
I was married here on 8.14.16 and I dont even know where to begin to describe our gratitude for The Clock Tower. Cathleen and her staff were so friendly and easy to work with throughout the entire process. The food was delicious and the decor was BEAUTIFUL! My wedding day was one of the happiest days of my life and we will be forever grateful! The Clock Tower will exceed your expectations by a landslide!
Our daughters wedding reception was held at The Clock Tower on Sat., April 22, 2017. The owners Cathleen and Ramen were awesome to work with. Their staff far out did themselves. The food was great. I have never had food a reception that tasted this good. Highly recommend this venue for your event or wedding.
We shot a wedding here. Photo & video. Check us out.. beautiful place ..... Phillips photography & Designs on Facebook ... typed just like thatπ
My wife and I had our wedding at the Clock Tower last weekend and we were just discussing how easy it was to walk into the Clock Tower on the day of our wedding and have everything done. They did all the decorating and made sure all our outside vendors were squared away so we didnt have to worry about anything. The wedding coordinators are two great girls and really work well together. The food was amazing and everyone is still talking about how good it was. Overall it was a great time and everyone had a blast.
My daughter was married at the Clock Tower this past weekend and it was wonderful!! The service was fluent and exceptional. The timing of everything flowed perfectly. They never came to me once about anything. We were able to enjoy the entire evening without a single worry! The food was wonderful! I have gotten so many compliments about how well everything went and how great the food was! We were able to drop off the table decorations earlier in the week and just forget about it! They took care of everything for us and it was gorgeous! I would highly reccommend the Clock Tower!
Great venue UNLESS youre handicapped. No door on the handicap mens stall means no bathroom breaks for me! Everything is accessible, except privacy in the bathroom.
A food tasting for the kids wedding reception. It was very well prepared and tasted awesome. The kids were happy with it and that is what counts. I can recommend the Clock Tower for social events.
Food was great. Staff was very professional. They delivered on what was promised and surprised us with more. The ballroom was extraordinarily beautifully decorated for the event.Highly recommend The Clock Tower for any events, not just for weddings.
It was set up very pretty. There was only one problem, the air conditioner was up WAY to high. Thankfully l had a sweater in my car. But there was a lot if women who werent prepared for it, and complained. They all said they wanted to leave asap.
I would say be sure if you want the venue. The 2000 dollar non refundable. Seems a bit ridiculous. Especially if you booked it and a few days later you decided to go elsewhere. Especially when you look at you still had 8 months and no food purchased or any thing even prepped for the event.
This is the worst place Iβve ever been too! My sister had her wedding here and everything that was promised was not done! The owner was rude and completely ruined the wedding! Worst experience ever! Would never recommend this place! Waste of money! If I could do zero stars, I would!
The clock tower its self is beautiful, but the owners are bipolar. They told us that they had done many Quincearera there and that they had a great DJ that had done many, which is not true!! I can tell you the DJ was booked (for another party, not mine) and I asked if he had a lot of experience, the answer was No!! The owners didnt seem to know much about this event before either, they told me they googled it also on the the day of the event she asked where the children were, she had jobs for them....if you know anything about this event you know they are in a Limo!!!! We was promised that we could could do many things, and they would work with me with everything!! Everything I asked to do was No that will kill my vacuum cleaner ( like a pop corn machine) We was promised that if we booked with them that staying an extra hr. would be no big deal, maybe a few extra hundred, we could go to a cash bar. Then i was told oh No we cant go pass midnight. Then i was told that no it would cost nearly $640. more!!!!! When my guest was walking out and we was taking our personal belongings to the car, he came up to me and told me: you need to get these people out of here or Im going to charge you an extra hr!!! I brought in outfits for my children to change into for the surprise dance (put it in the dressing room) and someone took them and i didnt get them back till i went to pick everything up after the event ( no one knew where they were!!!! )almost messed the whole night up!!! Thank God i brought extra!! THE WORST PART ABOUT IT IS SO MANY OF MY GUEST CAME UP TO ME THAT NIGHT AND ASKED WHY THEY WERE STANDING BY THE BAR GIVING DIRTY LOOKS TO THE GUEST AND SHAKING THERE HEADS!!!!! Really why??? We have a great group of people, no trouble just fun.........Just so sad to pay that much money ( all up front) and to be treated like that!!! Safe your self the empty promises and go somewhere else!!!
My sorority booked The Clock Tower for our formal. They were very accommodating to our needs, the food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and everything went very smoothly, thanks to the wonderful staff!
Wonderful Venue for Weddings, Anniversary and Birthday parties. Nice staff and very, very clean.
The place is falling a part just like the surrounding area. My girlfriend worked there for a few weeks, kitchen and other areas are messy and unorganized. Would not recommend for any gathering.
Amazing experience very affordable and stress-free what more can I say about this wonderful place
Wedding there was great. Good food and plenty of room
TL;DR: Classy venue, incredibly polite staff, tasty food, quality bar. The only drawback was the House DJ, who was incredibly unprofessional as well as deeply intoxicated and unfortunately reduced this rating from 5 stars to 3 all by himself.Recently, I attended a wedding at the Clock Tower. Lets start with the good: This is a classy venue with lots of space and plenty of parking. Staff was very kind and polite, food was delicious, service was prompt. Everything was set up beautifully for the wedding and logistically everything went off without a hitch. Outstanding job by the staff. Now, for the bad -- fortunately, the only drawback of this place was the DJ/emcees performance on this particular night; unfortunately, it was a drawback that left a lasting negative impression. I cant believe Im about to write the majority of my review about this guy, but here goes:First off, the guy made a couple of honest mistakes throughout the night, which normally would have been totally fine! For example, he played the Mother/Son dance music when the Father/Daughter dance was taking place. He caught himself and apologized after 10 seconds in and a lot of confused faces. Again, no problem, we all make mistakes -- but it only got worse from there. Before the wedding party was scheduled to be introduced, he was talking to us in the back and tried to dictate (against the brides wishes) where we would stand for a photo. Instead of ASKING THE BRIDE what she wanted, he doubled down and said Dont worry, its STILL gonna look great! Thankfully the Maid of Honor stepped in and set things right. He also messed up the brides name on multiple occasions, both when speaking to her directly and when announcing her name over the PA system. Sound like no big deal? Theres more!During the ceremony and several of the speeches, there were obvious microphone issues. Normally no big deal, BUT during the fathers speech, the microphone COMPLETELY cut out and died. Instead of walking up to the father and handing him a backup microphone, the DJ had to take the mic and spent about 3-5 minutes debugging the issue (I assume it was batteries, but who knows!) while we all sat around. The carelessness and lack of professionalism was starting to show. BUT theres more!Up to this point, you could make a reasonable argument that everyone has a bad day at the office, right? But as the night went on, it became visually apparent that the DJ was intoxicated to the point where it was impacting his ability to perform his job. As a DJ, your responsibility is to facilitate a good time -- much like officials at a football game, if youve done a great job, no one will notice you were even there. Im not here to tell DJs how to do their job, but when you crossfade EVERY song to the point where the transition becomes 10 seconds of unintelligible noise, and people LEAVE THE DANCE FLOOR, its time to think about staying in your lane. After more drinks, (we all remember our first beer, dont we?), this guy started REPEATING songs(!), AGAIN causing patrons to leave the dance floor and go sit down because theyve ALREADY HEARD the song. Ostensibly, you have a catalog of DECADES of hit songs for people to dance and sing to -- the least you could do is not repeat them. At this point its impossible to say whether its just carelessness or outright incompetence, but does it matter? Drink whatever you want, but do the job that you were paid to do.At the end of the night, for his coup de grace, he treated us to a whirlwind of slurred words and misspoken names as he was giving final instructions to patrons as they were leaving, putting a fitting capper on this embarrassing sideshow. In every other regard, it was truly a beautiful wedding, and you should consider the Clock Tower for your next big event. Just make sure you dont book the House DJ.
It was the worst seminar and then you I had ever been to. The room was very cold, in the microphone kept cracking. It was loud and sounded like the 4th of July for about a half hour.
Attended a lovely wedding here; however the bride shared with me that the management is horrible. My husband is allergic to mushrooms; we listed it on the RSVP and the bride submitted all food restrictions in a document. It was clear that the event manager did not read it, since she kept asking the bride repetitive questions that were answered in the document. On the event day, my husband and I asked while we were in the buffet line if there were mushrooms in any of the dishes; the staff told us no, that the food was safe for him to eat. This was not true: he ended up vomiting and breaking out in hives due to his allergy. Thank god it wasnβt a more serious reaction. There were also several gluten free guests behind us that could only eat green beans for diner because the event manager did not read the meticulous plan the bride had sent. The event was great in spite of the seemingly willful laziness of the management.
Wedding was beautiful food was really good
Great place for a wedding and reception!
The owner (Rahman) and his wife are crooks. When you do business with them, make sure go through written contract in detail. They find every excuses (based on lies) not to return your deposit. If there was negative star, I would give them negative rating.
Beautiful venue but alot of upcharging
Very Good food and the staff was great.
Awesome venue. Very clean and wonderful staff.
Lgreat place for events, beautiful and clean
My uncle owns the place and its really awesome he is also a really good cheif
Beautiful place but a bit too expensive for me/most...
My mom and I were between two locations for my wedding and we went with The Clock Tower because Cathleen prides herself on her food which was out of this world amazing!! We were also drawn in because all our guests were out of town and she had a contract with the Marriott at the airport to provide a shuttle service. Early on, we found that the Marriott would only shuttle 22 people there and back but required a minimum of 15 rooms booked which would have been 30 people assuming 2 people per room. Cathleen took action on our behalf to try and correct it but fell short and gave other hotel recommendations. During the contract process she was very nice, gave us a splendid tour and we sat down to talk logistics. She had an assistant that we never really got to work with because they were let go shortly after we signed our contract and Cathleen hired another. When it came to payments, my mom lived in northern Ohio and would mail in checks. It was brought to our attention that our invoice reflected a higher amount owed than what my moms checkbook reflected. A check had gone missing from the books and the money was deducted from my moms account. The assistant stated we had to prove that The Clock Tower endorsed the check. Thanks to Cathleen, the check was found and we were back on track but that assistant was let go. We were promised consistent communication at the three month mark before the wedding and leading up to that unfortunately didnt happen. We were promised the reception space until 11pm however at our two week check up to go over the final details we found out that we only had the space until 10pm. We inquired about the price to have the extra hour but it was too pricey and we dropped it and figured a nearby bar or the hotel to continue the celebration would be fine enough. My matron of honor took over and we found out there had been a mistake! We did indeed have the space until 11 since we were having our ceremony there too! Perfect, we printed our programs a couple days before the event, got there the day before, set up our stuff and couldnt wait to get married!! One little hiccup though, our day of coordinator/her assistant was being let go at 4:30pm the day of my wedding. My mom was also pulled aside and told we only had the space until 10pm, to which my mom said the programs are printed and its the day before the wedding, its too late to back out of the 11pm timeframe given. The day of comes around and it looks amazing! We had an open bar that included wine, three domestic beers and premium liquor andour guests could pay if they wanted imported beer and top shelf liquor. Most of our guests went for the free stuff and some paid for top shelf and said the drinks were strong and worth what they paid. The food was amazing as promised, came out hot and in a timely manner. There was only a slight issue with our 4 vegetarian meals. Because they were plated, the staff had to be reminded to serve them along with the other food. Also, the staff took our engraved toasting flutes by accident, but we got them back at the end of the night unharmed. We went with Jermaine, the in house dj, and he did a great job energizing the guests and our dance floor was full for a solid two hours! Our only issue was the audio had cut out during our ceremony and speeches when the microphones were used. Overall, if you asked our guests, we had the best wedding ever. My husband and I a great time, we were able to savor many moments together and actually form memories without it flying by in a flash. A word of advice, dont feel pushy if you have to give simple reminders a few times. After all, its your day and Cathleen wants to make sure youre completely happy. Shes only human and can sometimes be forgetful.
Been there. Surprisingly, quaint and amazing!
It was a wedding. It was really beautiful.
Do not go here unless you want an inexperienced bar staff with a credit card machine that doesnt work. Obscenely long wait for no reason - absolutely unacceptable.
This place is run down and not worth the money they ask for to hold an event there.
