Went to whites automotive to have some parts fixed on my vehicle and I was greatly blessed by all the professional and courteous office staff, the parts that had to be replaced where safety issues and took some time to repair as I expected, I was there when they opened and repairs where done in timely manner by (Zach) he worked with a smile, needless to say I gave him little bit extra, while the work was being done Harold (the owner) kept us updated and laughing.The price was great!!!!Employees outstanding!!!Service with a smile!!!!Great job everyone!!!! Rented a car from them and regret it! Their cars are all unsafe they only fix the outside the engines are horrible and they over charge you. I paid for my mileage and they still penalized me for doing right

Bays were full, several customers ahead of me in waiting area. I was pleasantly greeted by Amy (Good eye contact, How can we help you today? I replied I would like to get the oil changed on my daughters car.). Amy promptly checked me in; Amy entered my name, contact info, vehicle info, and I handed over car key.I took a seat in the waiting area. (clean, well lit, good ventilation, decent air conditioning, ample space/not crowded)While I waited I had opportunity to observe.-- Busy location.-- Phone rang steadily and was quickly answered by office ladies. (some calls for fifty cent rent a car, some for auto service)-- Auto parts and supplies dropped off steadily by several different suppliers.-- Customers checked out efficiently and steadily.-- Other customers dropped off vehicles for service/repairs.-- Customer dropped off payment/deposit on vehicle in lot for sale.Waited maybe 10 minutes, then car was pulled into bay by Jeremy. After a few minutes Robert came out to let me know how much the oil change would be ($45); he said if they noticed anything else needed to be done theyd let me know. I said that would be fine. They proceeded with oil change.Finished by 4:02 pm -- car pulled out of bay by Jeremy. No other work needed. 4:05 pm Checked out efficiently and cheerfully by Erica. Paid 48.46 with tax. Very reasonable.It was a bit tricky exiting from location (busy multi-direction traffic light intersection). I opted for right turn onto Wynnton and had no difficulty.Overall very good experience. I will go back for next oil change, for sure.Call first with questions, directions, hours.

Ladies be careful! My needed a starter, and she had a coolant leak. They the starter on, but couldnt find the Leak. Then they call her she needed a timing belt. SMH...I put a timing belt on there a little over year ago. Timing belts are changed every 60,000 miles. Thats five years with regular driving. Get second opinion!!!!

Cant argue with RESULTS.i came in a month or so before this anticipated road trip, with a rough idle, lean engine code, lifter tick and a few other issues. They diagnosed the issues piece by piece and Ryan kept me updated on the prognosis which I really appreciated. Since I do work on the Jeep myself as well I always REALLY appreciate a thorough explanation and person-to-person discussion about what the mechanics are up to. The engine sounds FANTASTIC and this baby drove like it was brand new... through the woods, plains, deserts, and mountains. I absolutely couldnt have done this trip without the SUPERIOR service from Whites Automotive. THANKS SO MUCH!

I have been a customer twice so far Robert the tech saw us both times found him to be very professional and his honesty goes without saying,he has not only been very informative but has made my husband and I feel comfortable with the info he has given us we are seniors and disabled so we need to be safe on the road,we also found the front desk to be very professional only complaint is the restroom could use a little care, a little paint and a New trash can is needed. I just left there. I didn’t get the name of the guy that helped me but he was very Informative and patient with me asking question after question. I didn’t get any work done due to not being able to pay for any risky damages that could occur but in the end they cut me a break on the inspection fee. Which literally made my day because I’m not working at the moment. Anyways thanks guys for being patient and nice.

We were driving to Columbus from South Florida. Our power steering was sounding horrible. I wondered if I should take it to the Honda dealer but I knew it was going to cost big $$$. My son-in-law suggested Whites as many on post have had positive experiences with this shop. As soon as I brought it there Harold White, the owner, diagnosed the problem just by telling him the symptoms of the problem. Instead of a possible huge bill at Honda they charged 50 bucks. They are amazingly honest. They could have charged me much much more. Great great place

Glad I found out about Whites from my map search! Needed brakes and rear rotors badly, but Im on a strict budget. The guys and girls at Whites are amazing! The cost of replacement was less than I expected and they were upfront about costs. They even got me in and out on a Saturday! Theyve earned my business from this experience. Well done!

Terrible experience went out of town and left my car with them to fix my taillights, change my coil packs and spark plugs while out of town the mechanic called and said it was ready and all was fixed and the price was 140 Im thinking great get back get the car and my gf tells me its driving worse I check under the hood nothing has been changed we take it back a different mechanic took it charged by the hour unlike the first 2 hours and 200 later theyve found no source to my broken taillight but came across what it could be and it would cost around 500 extra to fix they was constantly bringing up problems unrelated to what I wanted fixed and had what seemed to be pre rehearsed excuses of why they couldnt fix what I wanted down right awful

Me and my wife spent over 800 on a new water pump and tiers the job was good but after we got home we Noticed that one of the hubcap covers was missing we called them and they tried to tell us that it was not there responsibility that someone could’ve possibly stole one single hubcap off of the tire And then they also told us after we drive the car out of the Business anything that falls off after three days is not there problem If they put it back right it would of not fell off and instead of Taking responsibility The Technicians argued with my wife and my Father-in-law . Will not be back .

Im sure they are very good at what they do, but they misdiagnosed my Mazda 3 issue as a fuel pump replacement. I was reassured in person, and then over the phone that the tests were all done and the fuel pump was found faulty. Since that is covered under the power train warranty, I drove to Macon dealership (not one in Columbus) to have it checked out. The dealership found (after the SAME testing) that it was the fuel rail, NOT covered. So, Im out $1200 for the fix.I spent $170 with Whites to have the test run, which should have included testing the fuel rail electronically (I read the service manual). I dont think that was ever done. I paid for a test that was not adequately performed or completed. If the issue had been properly diagnosed I would have saved a few hundred bucks—not only with the test itself, but with my driving to Macon, having to rent a car for the weekend, and paying dealership prices. Not too pleased. Wont be back.

These guys are shady AFI go in for and oil change and then the next days breaks. Then the very next day my check engine comes on with two more lights and I check my oil dipstick no oil? And then I go to have it rectified and they say that theyll have to charge me to diagnose my car i opt out cause i dont want these cats touching my car anymore then they have and my car worked perfectly fine before they got their claws into it. Dont go here theyre crooks

I called about several things I needed replaced on my 67 GMC C15. After all the parts I named off they said i needed less than half of what i asked. They were literally the most honest shop I have ever dealt with. They will go above and beyond and look for parts in different shops, warehouses, websites etc. I have never been more impressed with a shop which I why I give them 5 stars .

Typical mechanic shop price hustlers. over charging for routine procedures using excessive words to describe simple procedures. 20 minute job takes2 hours to justify the $200 price gouge... including the technicians knowledge and years of experience as an itemized expenditure

You know those sleazy, scumbag mechanics you see in TV shows and movies that try to rip their customers off. Well, you wish you were dealing with those kind of mechanics after dealing the so-called automotive mechanical experts at Whites Automotive Center.Took my 2007 Mazda 3 down due to a service engine light and automatic transmission issue. Spent up to $700 on it, they kept my car for up to 2 weeks, barely called me, the only communication I had was when I called them to get a status check and it was the same message over and over Were looking at it. and when I picked it up my car the issue was not fixed. AT ALL. When I explained this to them. Did I get any compensation, nope, none at all. Was told that the best they would be willing to do is a free diagnostic to see what causing the issue but, Im still required to come out of pocket to pay for any additional repairs, parts and labor to fix the issue. Then what was the $700 I paid Whites for. For them to sit around with thumbs up their butts and blow smoke up my ass.Avoid giving these guys your money and time. All they care about is taking your money, very poor customer service skills, I doubt they have any automotive skills to work on current model vehicles. All I can say is that Ive had nothing but frustration when dealing with these guys and I will not recommend them to anyone. Avoid, please, please do not see these guys for your vehicle repairs and needs. You can go elsewhere and get better.

Whites automotive replaced my heater coil on my vehicle and I came by during the process and realize the extensive repair that they really had to do and could not believe it was able to be taken care of so quickly. Got ripped off from a repair. 400 dollars for me to get my serpentine belt and harmonic balancer replaced. They saw the out of state tags and the need for a repair instantly and definitely took advantage.

I have been coming to Whites for years. I can only say good things about them. Mostly oil and fluid changes. However they have done other things. Once I had a head gasket changed out and it failed for some reason. I returned to the garage and it was replaced free of charge no questions asked.

I paid for repairs to my stepsons 2008 Impala at this shop. I was told that two actuators in the heater system were bad and replacing them would cost around $365 and change. I had them do the work--they did, after picking up the car, on the way home my stepson reported that the same clicking noise was coming from the dash when he turned the heat on full. We called and took it back the next morning...and JR called and told me that his mechanic said a THIRD actuator was bad and it would cost an additional $600 to fix that.In my opinion, this was a sloppy diagnosis and repair on the part of the mechanic; the repair job was only 75% completed. IF yet another actuator were really bad, the least this business could do is offer to fix it, labor free.

I take all of my cars here for repairs and maintenance. I’ve never once had an issue myself because they go out of the way for customer satisfaction

Had my van towed here which cost me 100 dollars. Showed up at 7:30 a.m. and gave them a $150 deposit and was told that it would cover the diagnostic ($80) and go towards repairs. Never got any phone calls; had to call them periodically throughout the day to check up on my van and was told very little had been done with it. Came back in person at 5 p.m. and was told that Id have to pay an additional $80 diagnostic fee for them to keep looking at it. Asked for a full diagnostic report and my van back and they didnt even have a diagnostic report. Was confronted by the owner and he attempted to intimidate me into allowing them to take more of my money, and very confusingly attempted to explain why they were taking my $150 for a inconsequential day of diagnostics. Settled on getting $50 back and my van back with no problems determined and nothing repaired. Do not trust yall.

I paid to have my ac diagnosed. After paying for this service I was told that my compressor was shot and that the dye was spraying out of it. I was quoted around $800 to fix it. I cant remember the exact amount because it was lumped in with quotes on a few other repairs. So I contemplated doing to the repair myself and got under my truck to investigate and gauge the difficulty. When I got under my truck, I didnt see any uv dye. Odd. So I went and purchased a can of dye and put my go lpro under my hood pointed at the compressor. No dye... hmm.... So I kept looking. My condenser had a small leak it. I spent $58 on a condenser and less than an hour to change it. Ac is cold as ice. Compressor working perfectly.Whites automotive told me my compressor was shot and quoted me a price to replace it.

I really like the work JR does but if this keeps up Im going to have to find a new place to take my trucks and wifes car . I recently ask for a top off service with a good car wash and the young man that washes cars was arguing with the front desk girl . Its all too much, just leave that personal stuff at home .JR please do something about this its getting out of hand its every time I come up there . Hope things change and soon!
