Absolutely great first experience. The owner is professional, patient and does a great job explaining things after the work is done etc. Fair prices, and completed the work in timely fashion. The one thing I really appreciated is that my truck is a rather unique import and not even their specialty, but it was no problem for them, true professionals. Highly recommend and Im sure will be calling on them again in the future.

I went here with a worn down winter beater (last year) and was treated no differently than any other customer. My repairs was down quick and he even diagnosed my car for free! I seriously thought Id get treated differently cause of the cars I saw there vs mine but nope I will most certainty come here for any other repairs. Ive been meaning to write this review for awhile but here we are.Very honest, upfront and genuine repair shop.

What an honest experience and total high quality craftsmanship. My 2007 Toyota Tundra with 300,000 miles on had an ABS problem. I took it to a national chain and they basically told me ABS was broken but I should go to the dealer. So I called Nhan, the owner and operator of Hudson Import. He told me to bring it down. He diagnosed the problem but because the truck had more problems Nhan had to rewire lots of parts. After he finished the ABS issues he took the truck for a test drive. He heard a noise I had not heard and determined the ball bearings had gone bad on the hind axle. He sent me photos and texts while doing the work and they were bad. Quality of work was outstanding the shop was super clean. The business followed all health board orders and I felt very safe. I will go back all the time and would recommend him for anything they do specialize in forgien imports but i think he will work on any car. Cost is very competitive. I will even go for a simple oil change. Side note Nhan, called me 3 weeks later to confirm everything was still working well. You will not be disappointed using this family owned business.

I wish I could give Hudson Import more than 5 stars! Weve dealt with the owner, Nhan, every time, and he is very thorough, knowledgable, trustworthy, and generally a kind person. Anytime weve had an issue with either of our cars, hes explained the problem in detail and has even taken photos and videos to document exactly what needs to be repaired. The prices are very reasonable too.When we moved to Columbus a few years ago, we were worried about finding a good mechanic, but luckily we found this place. I wont take my car anywhere else!!

Ive been coming here for 10 years, they are the best in Columbus, hands down. I dont take my cars anywhere else. If you consider the area, you would understand what this place sometimes has to deal with - impossible 1 star individuals. This is 5 star service and pricing.

This is my go to place for my car in Columbus. I rarely go out of my way to rate companies but being able to find such a reliable place to take my car around here had proven near impossible until I found Hudson Auto.I cant say enough about the owner here -- incredibly nice and friendly guy! He went out of his way to call my dad who lives far from me to explain what was wrong with my car. Its refreshing to find a place with friendly, honest, and trustworthy staff and ownership who do a great job on cars in a very reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this place.

I picked up my Benz today. 5/31/19. I was a bit nervous because Im new to the area and I had a 4 hour drive ahead of me. My car drove like it did the day I drove out the dealership. Major front end - wheel bearing work completed with full replacement and an oil change. The price was reasonable AND the car was back in excellent condition! Thanks Nahn, every last one of those stars was well deserved.

They always take their time and make sure everything works well on your vehicles. They work on all kinds of cars, both domestic and import cars. Their shop is very big, nice, clean and secured. The main and most important thing is that their prices on all their services are WAY CHEAPER than a lot of other car repair shops that Ive been to in the past. Ive used Hudson Imports for about the last six years and cant speak highly enough of Nhan and his entire staff. Honest, extremely hard working, PHENOMENAL PRICES and friendly. Basically, everything you hope for in a car dealership, but never get. At any given time you will see cars worth hundreds of thousands of dollars being serviced, but his prices dont reflect that. Just a straight forward place.

Ive had great experiences here, I was quoted $1100 for a number of repairs including changing my timing belt on a 2004 Jetta by several other mechanics. They did it at Hudson Import for around $700 and did a fantastic job. Great customer service, great prices, very very happy.

Good customer service but they failed to mention they had stripped the bolts going into the cylinder head of my car then continued to completely drench it in Silicon to create a seal. 2000 dollars and one year later Im at a dealership discovering these fun facts. DO NOT GO HERE, GO TO YOUR LOCAL DEALERSHIP

Went to a couple of chain places before I came here and was expecting the same brash dismissal Id gotten from men at the other shops. The guy who helped me (not sure if he was the owner or not) was nothing but amazing. Other places Id gone during the day had a man rolling his eyes because he thought I wouldnt be able to accurately describe my auto issue.When I came into Hudson Auto Import right before close, the gentleman actually asked me questions, gave me some options, a quote, if the issue was what I said, and told me to come back first thing.The labor took a little longer than thought (one hour), but was so reasonably priced, it was still cheaper than taking it somewhere else.My Honda is back up and running perfectly. Hhan is a unique person who grew his business by treating customers as friends. There needs to be more mechanics like this one. He is beyond fair. We have used him for several years, multiple cars, our congregation uses him, our church vehicles are serviced here, now my company cars are serviced here since he grew into a large facility.

This guy really did not know what he was doing when he brought in my car. After 2 days of looking through my car, he decided there were 4 things wrong that all needed to be replaced. I sent my car to my dealership for a second opinion and all they said was the ignition switch. A normal $500 repair was turned into over $1000 because this guy was unable to diagnose the problem and also could not put my car back into the working order I gave it to him. My dealership, when they got my car, had to not only diagnose the problem that I had, but also had to fix the car from all of the manipulation of this dealership. I will never use Hudson again.

Nhan is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. Sometimes it is a long wait for services, because he has to do the work of two men.If you know any decent mechanics shoot em his way, because if they were a bit faster with repairs this place would most definitely get a 5/5.Update as of 10/28/19: since my original review of two years ago Nhan has definitely improved his speed of service and not only he goes above and beyond for customers.If you’re afraid of the stealerships, come here. I normally pay less than half what the dealership wants to charge.

Truly and HONEST mechanic. My car has been giving electrical issues for years and it seemed to have finally killed my car. (Me anticipating some additional expenses this year and having just returned from vacation i was weary about the additional expense of buying or leasing a new car and decided since thats basically the only problem i ever had with the car it might be more cheaper in the long run just to get it fixed. My car was at 2 other mechanics before I took it to Hudson imports . And the owner was the first mechanic who was able to even get it started. He worked on it for what seemed like months (as the problem was intermittent) and kept me informed through the whole process. At the end I still ended up leasing a car (per his advice the car would be more expensive just to repair than its worth ) and he offered me a FULL refund. He is professional, capable and in my opinion a very Honest mechanic to say the least and this post is the very least I could do to show my gratitude. Though now leasing my mechanical issues are unlikely and generally covered I would return if/when I owned a car and would recommend Hudson motors to friends and family

I will never use this business again and if youre smart you will take your car elsewhere.For starters let me say Nhan has had my car for 6 months yes I said 6 months and its still not fixed.I took my car to Kelly BMW to have a diagnostic check to find out what was wrong with my car. After finding out and deciding what was most important to me to have fixed at this present time. The three specific things that I wanted fix were the smoking from the back which I was told was the valve steam. Second, there was a jerk sometimes when I stepped on the gas (transmission work). Third, the check engine light was on and I wanted it off which BMW told me that something needed to be cleaned out (forgot the exact name) nothing major. Now BMW wanted 8,000 to fix those things which were more than I had left on my warranty so I decided to shop around. After going to Hudson Import and telling Nhan what I wanted to fix and showing him the papers from BMW he agreed to fix the three things for the money that was left on my warranty which was approximately 4,000. We decided to allow him to do the work.Once we go to drop the car off Nhan immediately start asking if we wanted to get a new engine (used) I repeatedly stated no because I loved the way the car ran I just wanted those three things fixed. After having my car for about a month I was informed that Nhan was waiting on a camshaft to come in which has nothing to do with my initial request of work to be done (engine work). Nhan took it upon himself to order camshafts because my car was leaking and burning oil which took about two months to come in.Side note: If I take my car to JIFFY to get an oil change and they see I need a new transmission theyre not going to take it upon their self to order me a transmission theyre going to inform me of this and wait for me to give the OK.Once in Nhan injured his hand and was not able to work on my car for another month and no one else working in this shop that specializes in working on Imported cars is equipped to work on my imported car. I had to wait until he got all better. Once better it still took 3 more months for him to tell me my car was ready. I go pick up my car and lo and behold there is a new light on one I never saw before with a message telling me my steering sensor is off and to take my car in to be serviced. I was assured by Nhan that the part was on its way and when it came in he would have me bring my car in so he can fix it. After driving my car for three days I noticed oil on the ground under my car, smelled oil burning, and saw smoke coming from my hood and not to mention the car still jerks when I pull off. I took the car back to Nhan and guess what was leaking oil yep thats right the camshaft. As he claims to be fixing the problem I repeatedly ask about the steering sensor (has it came in, when will this be fixed) to no avail (we have been texting all this time so I have the messages to prove all this). My boyfriend go to check on the car and came to find out the steering sensor has never been ordered. Nhan is waiting for one of his friends (that I assume owns a shop) to get a junk BMW in same as mine so that he can take the part off of it. Who knows how long that would have taken and he would have just strung me along. My boyfriend was understandably upset and words were said. Do you know Nhan had the audacity to tell him if he comes to his shop again he will shoot him? We called the police and made a report. The police said believe it or not this is not our first time here for similar things and suggested we sue and press charges and that he believes something needs to be done about the way he treats his customers.

Hudson Import Auto Svcs is hands down the MOST REPUTABLE auto repair business I have EVER encountered! Nahm is the owner and the hardest worker ... I swear hes my guardian angel AND the HEART and SOUL of his business! He doesnt just service imports- he knows about and works on ALL makes and model cars!The integrity, the kindness, the patience, the respect, the knowledge - not to mention, his reasonable prices and complete passion he has for the work that is done there; makes him the BEST of the BEST!There are not enough Whoo-hoos to express the lovely person he is inside and out. He has the most dedicated hard working mechanics and Nahm has NEVER failed me! I usually dont take the time to write reviews but I couldnt resist giving him kudos for his awesome work and character. I wont take my car anywhere else cause I found someone I can trust and I happen to like it done right the first time :)I hadnt been there for about a year but when I called him last week with an urgent situation I was experiencing with my new used car (Toyota Avalon). He not only remembered me/my voice over the phone- he took me in based on the symptoms my car was having (even tho it was one of his busiest days) cause he felt it wasnt safe to drive! His priority are his customers! My car was running horribly but he squeezed me in while I waited that same day and ... now my car runs like BRAND NEW!!!When I first got there, he test drove the car and knew IMMEDIATELY what was wrong. He also test drove the car himself AFTER the repairs, to be sure the symptoms were no longer an issue.He is BEYOND BELIEF- and I can always count on him. I had him replace an engine for me and it had a 3 month warranty and also spark plus, water pump, and thermostat, and drive belt and something was wrong with the engine he replace he gave me the run around for 3 weeks then he finally refused to even look at my car! When he told me to bring it in dont use him!!
