They were quick about getting my oil change since I was waiting. Always had good service at this location. One problem was a bad grease/grime mark from the techs shoe on the door trim. Very ugly on tan interior. Have cleaned it but there is a stain that I will try again to clean again, but it will always remind me of careless tech.

First time here. After 35 years at a service center that just closed, I had a lot of questions about preventive maintenance for my well maintained old Volvo. A very helpful worker handed me a colorful checklist they said they complete with each oil change at no extra cost. A very nice worker called to tell me I take good care of my car and they found nothing to fix. But when I picked up the car, there was no checklist. Only a line on my invoice for $0 stating the checkup had been completed. A very apologetic worker said he didnt usually work at that location and didnt know why they didnt fill out the form. Ill give them a second chance. Communication and trust is the key for me with car repairs. Not there yet.

As a deaf person I have to say I am very impressed With how they were able to communicate with me and to accommodate my needs to understand what was wrong with my car.. Very inefficient and friendly. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I have a tyre bulge. I used to want to change a tyre. I asked for a price of about $300. It was reasonable. I put the car down and left. Later I received a call saying that my brake discs and brake pads need to be replaced. If it is not replaced, it is dangerous. If I change it, it will add up to more than 1,300. Because my English is not very good. I went directly to the store and communicated with him that year. After confirming the above meaning, I refused at first. Because it is a bit expensive and I think it should not be so. Serious. But after a few minutes I came back to confirm the replacement in person. I still believed the clerk. After all, the Google score was not bad. Their judgment should be correct. When I came to pick up the car the next day, everything looked okay. Very friendly. But when I drove my car on the high speed that day, it really scared me. As long as the speed is 55 mph, the whole vehicle shakes very badly. I am afraid that the vehicle will overturn. Later I asked an oncoming vehicle. A familiar friend. He judged from his experience that the dynamic balance was not done well when the store changed the tires for me yesterday. Later I went back and narrated the situation with the clerk and asked the clerk to do the dynamic balance for me again. But! The clerk refused to admit it. And insisted that the right front wheel was defective and needed to be replaced. They do not have this service here. Let me go to the dealer to buy and replace it. And said that the bill to me stated this situation. When I read the bill carefully At the time, there was indeed a line of small words that wrote this. But there was no such sentence on the quotation sheet that was given to me before the repair. The quotation sheet and the bill did not have that line. Other things were exactly the same. Even after I checked out he gave me the bill He didnt explain the situation to me. But I didnt blame them either. He just asked me to do a dynamic balance test. After all, before my car was given to them for repair, everything else was fine except for a tyre bulge.After changing the tires and brake pads, the brake discs became problematic. It was equivalent to the 1,300 dollars I spent on the vehicle, which is more serious than before repairs. But! The attitude of the clerk is terrible! Said that our transaction has been completed. No more. Even the performance wants to catch me! From the time I went to the store to learn about the price to the occurrence of such a thing, my attitude has been very friendly, without any impoliteness or offense. Later, my friend said that this store does not recognize their problems, so I have to go to another repair shop to check it. On the day I went to the nearby Tire Choice Auto Service Centers, it took 35 to do a dynamic balance, and then the vehicle was ready! Dont shake anymore! The dynamic balance is not done well! ! ! ! I especially wanted to go to quarrel with this stupid shop. But I don’t want to waste time and energy on this stupid. Forgive my impoliteness. Because this shop is not worthy of being treated politely. I even doubt that my brake discs and brake pads are basically It’s not time to replace it. They frightened me for profit. All in all, this shop is a bad shop! Bad and irresponsible!

I stopped in without an appointment after one of my tires started leaking that morning. They were able to find a screw in my tire, patch it, and remount the tire and have me on my way quickly for very little money.

Just dropping in to thank all the staff at Godown Rd. location. Its been a few months since my last service but went by a week or so ago with a question and Larry put my concerns to rest. Ive been going there for years for services ranging from regular maintenance, transmission check up, new tires several times and other services. They also offer many tips that in the long run can save folks future expense like for example the importance of keeping the battery clean, making sure tires are properly inflated, getting the winter road chemicals from the under carriage cleaned off at car wash. For peace of mind related to my truck performance they are the folks to go to.

I highly recommend Boyds Tire and Service. They are always able to get me in, call with an estimate, and get the work done to my satisfaction in a timely manner. I havent ever had to go back with an issue.

Would have given 5 stars but I paid a ton for new battery! That may not have anything to do with Boyd’s, and I was in a situation where I didn’t have time to shop around. Boyd’s personnel were pleasant and efficient and I had a new battery installed within an hour of my desperate call to the shop! I’ll likely go back.

When I made my appointment to have my car serviced, I was a little worried if i would be safe staying in the waiting area because of COVID. My concerns evaporated as soon as I walked in. Seating was well placed to accommodate for social distancing and the area was spotless. Sanitizing supplies and a cleaning log was kept in plain sight. As always the service and work done on my car were 5 star.

Larry S. at the Godown Rd. location took the time to help me pick out the best tires for my minivan. We settled on a tire that has an outstanding warranty and a better tread life than original tires. He also gave me the rebate paperwork from Goodyear to receive a Visa gift card for $250! Very nice place for auto service and repair.

I used to do most of the maintenance on our autos including alternators, brakes, rotors, etc. Boyds prices, work ethic, customer service and their excellent diagnostics has me taking our autos to Boyds for everything except oil changes...which I continue to do myself. Dead battery, they said battery was fine, replaced a terminal wire. When I picked up the van it was the same sluggish start and the engine light was on. They ran the code and it was low voltage.They properly refunded my bill and I had AAA install a new battery.

I have been going to this place for years now. I first tried this place based on reviews and had nothing but positive experiences when they worked on my old XJ. But I keep coming back because of the customer service, the quality of work and the competitive prices for the area.I got a JK a couple years back and needed a new set of tires to replace my old stock tires. With the advice and help from Larry at the front desk, he helped me decide on a slightly better tire and I could not be happier with them. They perform great on the pavement and on the highway. I have yet to test them off road, in the rain and snow but I am confident they will perform perfectly fine for what I intend to use them for. I had some minor concerns that I later learned about but he assured me the cosmetic risk was low and should I ever run into a problem down the road (ha!) that they would help and stand by their commitment to providing exemplary customer service.This place will make you feel like a valued customer rather than a turn and burn cash cow. Not fully satisfied with their service. I requested one oil type and they went with some other without even notifying me. I should have been informed if its really necessary to do for engines safety. I would recommend this store if youre looking for a faster oil change, but not good for complete inspection along with oil change.
