Great office staff just moved in five days ago and someone has already broke into my car this is not good for someone that just move from another state I feel like the apartment should be able to do more. I am reading through the reviews seem like this is a issue that needs to be Seriously addressed. And the other issue is the trash situation. Trash is left outside the Trash compactor looks very bad. For the amount of money they collect for rent we should never see trash Out like this
The apartments are very nice. The office staff is great in working with your wants and needs. Great location.
We moved into Attleigh Apartments about 6 months ago, and our experience so far has been great. Definitely an upgrade from our previous apartment. Their prices are very good, we haven’t had any issues in our apartment so far, and Day at the office is incredibly helpful. We have nothing but great things to say about Attleigh.
I lived here for a year and its been a good experience, staff is very pleasant and understanding. Dayjanae Price the assistant manager is very humble and understanding she has helped me in a few stressful situations. Overall I think the pros out weight the cons. Every apartment has ups and down but I have reviewed the different aspects of the neighborhood:Management: 8.5Neighbors: 7.5Parking: 9Rent Rate: 6Amenities: 6Location: 9
Ive lived here for a year and these are some of the nicer units in the area and at a good price. I had some lease issues, but spoke with the Property Manager, Ms. Woods, who was extremely helpful. Im thankful that I was able to meet with her and genuinely appreciate her help and understanding. For anyone looking, give this place a shot and if you run in to issues the leasing office is there to help.
It’s nice and clean complex. I like it because it is very quite. they are very professional.
I would never reccommend anyone moving here, not even my worst enemy. I lived here for only 1 year, I started counted down the days until I could move out within a month. 5/7 days of the week I would sleep on the couch. The walls and ceiling are paper-thin. Im not even exaggerating!! I could hear every single word of every argument or just simple talk by both my neighbors on each side. Not only that, but any time of the night or day theres a dog barking. The noise is terrible, everywhere in that complex. Summer time, the pool is so noisy from open to close, you can hear everything from inside your apartment. Rent is not too expensive & brand new appliances which is nice.
Staff has been amazing on all levels. Before I moved in, I was treated like family. I had a lot of furniture delivered and they held it for me while I was out of town on business. Since moving in I love, not just my place but the grounds. I have met some of the residents and everyone seems to be pleased with their stay as well.
Ive lived here for about 6 weeks and I enjoy it very much. The entire staff, especially Mike, the property manager goes above and beyond to make living here a great experience. Johnathan and Kathryn are super attentive and responsive too!!! The patio is awesome, and my neighbors seem very nice. Parking hasnt been a problem and maintenance is quick to respond. Yes, I hear the neighbor upstairs but that is to be expected and its not unbearable. My only true complaint is the super flimsy toilet seat... its fastened with plastic pieces that pop out and it moves around but I dont own the place so I can live with it... its pretty funny. The pool is very nice as is the clubhouse. Love the free membership to Premier at Sawmill... swanky!!!!
Friends car got broken into and management could have not cared any less than they did. There is absolutely no cameras or any kind of security at this apartments. Do not recommend if you are looking for apartments that you can feel safe in.
This complex is located near all of the stores and restaurants in Hilliard, has spacious bedrooms + closets, and beautiful high ceilings. However, there’s a reason these units are priced low. After living here, it was apparent that the apartment was built with low costs in mind and the new management team is a bit difficult to work with. Our struggles entailed:- The management team can be difficult to work with, and their communications lacked both professionalism and punctuality.- The clubhouse seemed like a great feature. However, they don’t tell you that it’s only open when the office is open, and the office is only open during regular business hours. Like most working adults, we wouldn’t get home from work until the office was closing. If you want to use the amenities after hours, you have to pay a pretty high rental fee.- The cul-de-sac that this complex is located on intersects with a very, very busy road. If you aren’t comfortable with “flooring it” when there’s a three second gap in traffic, this is something that will stress you out more often than not. Turning left during rush hour is hardly an option. Im a pretty confident driver, and I was either frustrated or stressed by this almost every single day.All in all, the units are actually very affordable! However, know that you’re getting what you paid for. Its not terrible but its certainly not great.EDIT: After move out, the management company presented us with a move out fee notice. We went back and forth a few times as we thought the fees were unwarranted and they essentially said, It is what it is. It wasnt until we posted public reviews regarding our negative experience that they reached out to us and apologized for the mix-up, agreeing that the charges were out of line. So yes, the management DID circle back with a refund, but it was yet another long, unnecessarily frustrating experience.
I love the staff here. They are so helpful and especially the manager Nicole.Theyre AWESOME!!!!
Is This place horrible? No. What I do like are the high ceilings and that everything is new but it’s definitely not worth the price due to the customer service and not majoring in the flaws. I planned to stay here for years but that’s not happening anymore. Majority of the good reviews are from when there used to be the old management but a new company bought the complex. New management mainly cares about getting you to sign a lease than your on your own and could care less about keeping the residents happy. 1. They force you to get ATT WiFi because the apartment complex has a contract with them and on top of that you don’t even get a deal but to be fair the old owners made that deal. 2. only one dumpster/ compactor gets really annoying. which is also on the old owners but can easily be resolved but I doubt it will !! I have to put my trash in the car and drive it there because it’s so far 3. Parking sucks!!! Sometimes I have to park somewhere super far from my apartment because there’s no parking near my building. Like I literally have parked on the other side of the neighborhood multiple times 4. It gets hard to drive around sometimes because the snow isn’t cleaned up 5. The kitchen is super small and poorly designed. 6. Traffic getting out to the Main Street also sucks because there is no traffic control device
It’s very nice and clean apartments buildings. The stuff are amazing and very helpful. I like it here.
Love it love it love it! First stop on my hunt for a place and Mike sold me on the dream! The staff is wonderful and make living there pleasant!
Affordable, clean, modern, friendly staff, good amenities. Only problem is their one trash compacter thats on the far end of the complex and is constantly full. They should just get dumpsters.
Was there briefly for a company housing very nice. Highly recommend. Bit pricey though. Not for those who are on a budget.
I lived here for two years. I was the first person to move into my unit as the apartments were brand new upon my move in.It is an adequate apartment for the price and location. You wont go wrong choosing to live here. I would just say that if you have an extra $100-$200 to spend in your budget, there are much better options within a 2 mile radius that do not include the cons I mention below.PROS:- The proximity of the apartment to the highway made for very efficient commutes to work and downtown. The apartment is also down the road from everything you could possibly need - food, groceries, and more.- The leasing office employees were always friendly when I would speak with them.- In my 2 bedroom apartment, the master bedroom closet was extremely spacious.- The kitchen appliances are modern and nice.CONS:- It is obvious that the walls are constructed very cheaply. You can literally tear off the dry wall with your finger nail. I advise against hanging things on the wall (even with command strips) because it is nearly impossible to take things down without doing damage and you will be charged a high rate for damages no matter how nicely you think you left the apartment when you moved out.- The walls are paper thin. I lived on the second floor and could hear every conversation from my downstairs, upstairs, and next door neighbors. There is no Quiet Hours policy at The Attleigh like there is at other apartments (at least not to my knowledge). There were nights where I would be woken up, and then would turn up my television volume at 3am just so I didnt have to listen to the music my downstairs neighbors would be blaring. I will admit that I never brought this to managements attention because I didnt want to be that neighbor, so this is my own fault.- The kitchen is super small and storage is extremely limited. My roommate and I had to buy a three drawer bin from Meijer and squeeze it into the closet where the water heater is just for extra storage space.- The refrigerator in my unit had issues with the condenser coils a little over a year after moving in, causing both my freezer and refrigerator to no longer cool the items inside. I had to throw out close to $100 worth of grocery items. I was not offered a voucher/refund for these items, which was disappointing. I went three days without a functioning refrigerator and when they finally replaced my refrigerator with a new one, they banged up the apartment door bringing it in and did not clean the new refrigerator. It had cheese stuck to the sides, crumbs everywhere, and drink stains. I had to completely scrub the inside of it. It just seemed a little careless on their end.- The trash compactor seemed to always be overflowed and not functioning You would have to add your trash to the already existing trash pile that sat outside of the compactor.- The physical location of the apartment is rough. It sits next to a very busy intersection. When you exit the apartment to get on the highway or travel up the road, you have to turn left onto this road and it was irritating every single time. It would easily add 5-10 minutes on my daily commute to work just sitting there hoping someone lets you out or that you have 3 seconds to gun it as fast as you can and cut someone off to make it onto the road. I think it would have been super beneficial if they were able to add an entrance to the apartment complex a little bit further away from the intersection. Also, depending on where your unit is, the intersection can be very loud at all times of the day/night with people constantly gunning it every time the light turns green.- The management company changed three times during my two years there. While this didnt necessarily impact my day-to-day living, it was a bit inconvenient having to adjust to new methods of payment and made the relationship with the leasing office feel less personable with things constantly changing.
This place is amazing the staff is super supportive live here great community!!!!
Visiting a friend, not a bad complex but it is definitely showing its age already. Right next to 70 so the highway noise is a bit much
I love the management!!
My experience with this place was a little sour when one of the staff members came out while me and a friend was at the the pool and rudely yelled at us and started questioning me on where I stayed and if i was on the lease and it was so embarrassing getting questioned and yelled at in front of a friend and he had the worst attitude. over all the apt is nice.
Long story short: Its an okay place to live. The rooms are pretty good, etc., but there are a lot of minor annoyances that start to add up. For the price, its a fair place to live. There are better, and there are worse. Some details:Management & maintenance can be unhelpful sometimes, but they are kind.Months after moving out we got a notice that we owed $250 for them to repaint our old apartment. They also charged us $60 to clean the carpets. When I pushed back on why we were being charged hundreds of dollars when I knew we left the place in very, very good shape, they eventually refunded everything, which was the right thing to do. If I hadnt pushed back though...Two, they also charged us $20 to replace their crappy stove-top drip trays. Before I moved out, they told me to go to Home Depot and buy & install new ones because the entire complex had junky ones that needed replaced. Most ethical landlords would recognize that they were the ones who bought the cheap parts in the first place and they would take ownership of that. But The Attleigh was happy to pass along their mistakes and charge us $20 for it. I know its only $20--its just annoying.Three, we had a bug problem. I asked for help multiple times. They sent someone to “look at it” (we came home and our blankets and sheets and pillows were all over the floor in a giant mess), and guess what they ultimately told us? To go to Home Depot, buy our own bug bombs, and take care of it... Noticing a trend?Four, the prior mgmt group allowed us to use the theater/clubhouse at night for free. We watched an OSU game there and it was great. We had to make a deposit (in case of damages), but as long as it was left clean and the way we found it we got that money back. Makes sense. Well the new Attleigh changed that. They said to use the theater for one night we’d have to pay $75, non-refundable. So if they show off that clubhouse on your tour, know better. You gotta pay to use it after 6pm.Six, the sunlight shone through around the edges of our front door because it didn’t seal shut! Can’t make this stuff up. I mentioned this issue multiple times to mgmt, and it was never fixed in over a year. The aforementioned bug problem (and our high heat bill) can be attributed to their inaction.Seven, we had nails sticking up through the carpet. At first we would hammer them down if we located one (… by hurting our foot). Eventually, we just started wearing shoes. We knew mgmt wasn’t gonna do anything about it, so we didn’t ask.Other than that, I would agree with some of the other reviewers’ comments. One mentioned “cheap carpet, chalky paint, doors that peel, walls are paper thin, parking is terrible”—agreed. The location is frustrating because it’s at a busy intersection and right along interstate, so driving in & out became our daily nightmare. There is only one dumpster, and of course they beg the tenants to run the compactor for them.Like I said, overall, its not a bad place to live. There were just a lot of little things that, over time, start to ruin the experience. I would not live here again, but it wasnt terrible either.
This is a nice place to live. The ceilings are high and the complex is quiet. However there is very little storage in the apartment and the kitchen is poorly designed.
Great aesthetic, superb staff and awesome amenities for the price range.
First off, the old management was way better. The new management has absolutely no clue how to run a business or do math correctly. We get a bill on our doorstep for $150 because they didn’t know which apartment we were renting and assumed it was a 2 bath. Absolutely horrible and a nightmare to sort through. The real issues start with how cheap everything is. Cheap carpet, chalky paint, doors that peel, kitchen is useless, walls are paper thin. I would have loved a bigger kitchen and less of a monstrous bedroom that I’m never in. The parking is terrible. The no grill policy is annoying even though people still grill outside in the back section and smoke pot outside which makes its way in our patio door. The snow removal crew is a joke. 4 days and the parking lot is still covered with ice and 4 inches of snow which makes parking even worse. Some people they charge $75 for garages and others they charge $100, just depends on what you’re wearing when you go in the office. The rent is ridiculous for what you are getting. I’d suggest looking elsewhere or buying something. Just think a few extra hundred bucks and your money will not be flushed down the drain. Counting down the months until the lease is up.
Friend lives here, seems nice
Parking is god awful and management doesnt seem to care that Ive complained about an obnoxious noisy inconsiderate upstairs neighbor
Friendly staff but not enough of them!
Beautiful
