I was driving my normal route to work and a driver cut me off in front of me after driving behind me (and I was already going 5 over the speed limit on a busier road) and the proceeded to weave in and out of lines. The car in front of me that was now also in front of this cab was going the speed limit and the cab attempted passing this car multiple times on a double yellow line (which is not only dangerous but also illegal) just to pull off into a complex.If I felt unsafe just driving in the same lane as one of these drivers, I can’t imagine what it is line to be in the same car as one. I would NEVER use this business especially because I have experienced this happening multiple times. The license plate of this driver is JHR 1637. Cab 100 in a gray/silver Nissan. If they come to pick you up, ask for someone else! I don’t think you would get where you’re going safely.

I made a reservation a few days ahead of time for an early morning ride to the airport via their app. I received an email confirmation. Noone came to pick me up, so I had to get a ride with another service.When I called to find out what went on, the man I spoke tried to make it sound like it was my fault. He also said the office had 20 other things to do besides reviewing requests for rides. Not really sure what else is more important for a taxi company then watching for requests for rides.

The moble and web based sites are non-functional. I called two days ahead to schedule a pick-up and was told that they dont do that. I also mentioned on the phone that I would need a car at 5:30 am and they neglected to tell me that they arent open at that time.

I was very pleased with their service. The driver was very, very friendly and was 15 minutes early as promised. The car was equipped with USB outlets -- have fun! The driver was very courteous and was very thoughtful. He was also excellent getting to and from my various stops and destinations -- very attentive without being intrusive. The car was very clean and well appointed. The driver picked me up from the restaurant (there was valet only parking) and it was very easy -- the driver even knew some of the valet attendants, and was able to get in right away! Overall a great experience and I hope to use them again in the future.

I called for a cab. Halley was the lady that answered the phone. She sent the cab to the wrong Kroger. I called back. She was rude and hung up on me. I asked for a supervisor and was transferred. They hung up on me. Very unprofessional, they need to be shut down..

I called and setup a cab a week in advance, received a call the day before confirming the scheduled pick up. The day of the pick up it was 15min past the scheduled time so I called and they advised they were trying to find a driver for me, but could not guarantee one would arrive. Since it was a flight I had to make I drove myself and paid for parking. - No call to advise me of issues, and no guarantee, I will never use them again. Very unprofessional.

I used to be a dispatcher, but I couldnt stand people been stranded and never picked up. If you dont have an account with them, more likely they wont pick you up and if you call and they tell you they are working and getting someone there. Believe me, the driver fast metered and they have to send another driver. Fast meter means that the driver faked his meter to show he picked and dropped off the person, but the person never got picked up. The foreign drivers they have, cant hardly speak English and they are very rude to customers. I tried my hard to make management understand this needed to change if they wanted this business to grow. Instead I was let go because a driver left a customer stranded and I argued with him. The manager said you are not patient with the drivers and this job is not for you. She was right. I believe in customer service and not to service the driver who dont follow company policies. Yellow Cab of Columbus 25% reliable. Uber 100% reliable. This reviews show the patter of the companys reputation.

Load the app, create an appointment for 4:00am to get to the airport. At 4:01am the app says a driver has not been assigned. Call them and the lady says they will have someone to pick us up as soon as they can. They keep appointments as best they can, but it is not guarantee. Well, there is a guarantee that I will never use Yellow Cab again.

When I got the text that the driver arrived, I watched him keep driving. I thought he missed the turn into the plaza but he then drove by the second way in. I then assumed he was rounding the block but 15 minutes later he still wasn’t back. I call and of course someone else is sent. Meanwhile my internet starts working again, I call a Lyft, get home, eat, then get a text a driver is coming. I then spend ten minutes on hold to cancel so the guy doesn’t make the fifteen minute drive to where I wasn’t. Ugh!

A day prior to my flight I went online and reserved a cab for a 5am pickup. This should have given me plenty of time to get to the airport and get to my flight, worry free. At 4:15 I logged in and began watching the cabs on the GPS system online. I noted that no cab was near my house. At 4:45 I checked again and still no cab; not even even a single one moving toward my house. All cabs shown were more than twenty minutes away. Alarmed, I called the company wondering if they even knew I needed a cab. I spent approximately twenty minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone. When someone did, she responded that a reservation isnt a guarantee. It seems more places are changing the definition of reservation. Im not sure why I would reserve a cab for a specific time unless I really needed it at that time. The cab I needed arrived around 5:35am. I did make it to my flight, and the cab ride and driver were fine, but it was stress that shouldnt have been needed given I *thought* I had planned in advance. I now wonder if they would have sent one at all if I had not called. In the future, Ill find some other way to get to my destinations. Two stars because the drive itself was fine.

Requested a cab three days ago, cab driver inquired method of payment as soon as I got in. Informed him I was paying card. He tells me he’s not accepting cards, I inquired when do they not accept cards. When you place a request for one on the phone it says cash or card. He then tells me to go to an atm and withdraw and keeps repeating it. Red flag for me, so I get out and call the office. Even asked him if he reported it to the office and he ignored my question. After calling it in, I have a “next to supervisor,” telling the rep what to say whose talking to me. She asked the rep if I was still in the cab and if not why was I calling. Told her to pass the phone to the person she was speaking to and that I needed to speak to a supervisor. She informed me he was suppose to report the system issue and turn the cab in. That she truly doesn’t know why he did that. Three days later and still no callback. This is a red flag on so many levels. With all the things going on with your competitors such as Uber, your falling in the same category. This was away to get over from your driver. The cab never moved so why would I go to an atm to take money out to prolong the cab ride and not even know the price of my ride. He could have robbed me or done anything.

Absolutely horrible. Booked 3 times with them, and it just got progressively worse. The first time was fine: driver showed up on time, called to let me know he was outside and I got where I needed to go. Second time: After 15 minutes of waiting, I called in to inquire where my cab was. After waiting on hold FOREVER, I was told I had been listed as a no show. The driver hadnt called, knocked, anything, and it was -3 out! Were they expecting me to wait outside? Woman on the phone asked if I wanted the cab sent back around and after I said yes please, she simply hung up on me. Not even a good bye. Finally the cab arrived though I was 20 minutes late. The third time I booked with them is the reason Ill never book again. I was watching outside my kitchen window so I wouldnt be listed as a no show. Checked my computer to see why they were late AGAIN, and once again, it said I was a no show. I called them up, and after waiting on hold forever AGAIN, I was told due to the snow (we were at a level 1, not 2 or 3) they were not sending cabs out to homes. I was stranded. All of these cabs were booked either the night before or with at least 2 hours advance notice.Its really a shame theyre so unreliable because they do make it very easy to book online, you get a confirmation email with a confirmation number, which other cab services in the area dont seem to do. But whats the point of booking a cab that wont show? Especially when you then have to deal with their RUDE customer service people?

It’s hit or miss. You never know if your driver is 10 minutes away or an hour away. One minute they’ll say your driver is 8 minutes away....next minute they say they’re still working on getting you a driver. The only reason I use them from time to time is if I only have cash so I can’t use Uber/Lyft.

I usually use yellow cab exclusively when I come to Columbus one - two weeks a quarter. The cars are clean and well kept. I can say that 90% of the drivers I have had are courteous and typically right on time.Bill R.

The best GPS technology systems make the drive get to you at time. I called yesterday evening and scheduled a wheelchair taxi pickup at 9:15am here it is 10:30am and I’m still waiting I called twice to check on my taxi just to get a response of we have no eta and shortly after they call back to see if I still wanted to use them! Each time I check their app it shows the closest taxi 13 minutes away for the last hour and a half. I’m not sure the wheelchair accessible taxis are even out on a Saturday morning. So now I’m over an hour late for a meeting and I’m still waiting. Why schedule something if you know you can’t provide the service?And in the end they still haven’t called to let me know they’re on the way and it’s now 1:30pm

I have had to use a cab for 3 weeks now nearly every day to get home from work. I used the app to request my cab. Every time, it showed up exactly for the time I requested. Except for one incident, the drivers were very polite and knowledgeable. It is a major turnaround from about a year ago when I used yellow cab for about a week and even if I requested a pick up at a certain time, the cab was NEVER there on time. I was super impressed and while I hope I will not need to use a cab again for awhile, I am glad to know there is a reliable company now. Thanks, yellow cab.

Called for a cab around 10:30PM last night. They took my information. I called again 45 minutes later, and they said I was in queue. I asked for an ETA which the operator refused to provide. I finally ended up getting a ride with a friend - and thank goodness I did, as Yellow Cab never did call or come.

Picked up from Riverside to Snouffer & Smoky Row, driver took 315, passed Bethel, ok, passed 161, hey where you going, answer the map says Hard Rd?!! Miles north of house, probably $5 more, at least and of course the map says that, you can drag it to any route. Ive held off on uber or Lyft cause it feels weird, but thanks to Yellow Cab, Im now a believer. This was so blatant as to be essentially a thumbing of the nose. To everyone whos tried to sell me on alternatives, I get it now. Sorry.

At 11am on 270 near georgesville rd one of your van taxis #445 was speeding cutting in and out of lanes trying to get ahead of everybody else and while slowly switching lanes he almost hit the back of my truck and cut a semi off just to hit the exit you better reach your people the rules of the road and the laws cause that was a complete joke

Absolutely the worst cab service in the history of the world. I called an hour & s half ago for a patron at the bar where I am working. After an hour passed I called again. I was told that they had a driver on route & they would be there soon. Another half hour passes & I call again. She tells me that she has no idea how long it will be because there is no driver on route. I asked her why I was told there was one on the way when I called last. She had no answer & was the least helpful person I have ever spoken to. This company is terrible.

Ive been taking yellow cab for a long time. But lately their customer services sucks. I called them at 10:15am to get a cab to work. I was on hold for 23 minutes!! So i hung up and called back and was on hold for another 20 minutes. I had to call 2 different taxis just to get a simple cab. They need to get it together. So, not only did i have to place my twice... but when the cab finally arrived, I was made to pay up front, ok! Well, instead of going the way the gps was taking us, the driver goes up onto the sidewalk and proceeded some 5 point turn. Goodness! Luckily, the rest of the ride went fairly smooth. Avoid taking them at all costs, if you can!

Yellow Cab of Columbus should fire all of its customer service people and its dispatchers. If a taxi service cannot show up on time after assuring a customer that the car will be there at an agreed to time, it should not be in business. They may very well spend a fair deal of money on SEO to get a higher ranking and be listed first when googling Columbus Ohio Taxis, but dont let that fool you.This is not an well run operation. Am not saying the others are, but if today is any indication, then I would suggest UBER or carrier pigeon before calling Yellow Cab of Columbus to be taking you anywhere.

Broken down out of state. Called for a ride. My two dogs, myself and a passenger. Made sure to ask if they drove dogs. Sure, as long as they are on a leash. 40 mins later 3 miles from the business a cab shows up and avoids us. After approaching the cab was told they wont drive dogs. His reason specifically I dont have leather seats. So the cab company knowing we had two dogs sent us a cab that wouldnt drive dogs. Even after making sure it wouldnt be a problem. After calling the company back we were told some drivers for religious reasons wouldnt touch dogs. Too bad the driver said it was his lack of leather seats and nothing to do with religious beliefs. Even if it was religious beliefs, why send a driver to job with dogs involved? We made sure, more than once, to say we had dogs! With the reviews this company has and the rude people running it, I dont know how its still in business.

I used the app to schedule a pick up. The driver called to let me know when he was arriving. He was 5 mins early and very polite. The cab itself was clean and very nice. I was slightly discouraged by other reviews, however i had ran out of options and needed to get to work. Im glad I used Yellow cab. And would highly recommend them and use them in the future!

Their cab service is by far the worst I have ever seen. Ive used them for a total of 3 rides in a 2 month period and couldnt say any one of them was worth my money or time. The first time it took them 45 minutes to pick me up and this was around 7pm on a Monday. The second time the driver took me the longest way possible to my destination even though his GPS was telling him the shorter route which cost me an extra ten dollars. The third time they were a no show after an hour and when I called to find out where the driver was they said that he called me and no one answered so he left...I never received the call he told me about and was late to a critical doctors appointment. I just called them tonight because I was stranded 10 miles from my house and asked if my father could pay for my fare over the phone since hes in California on business and they said no even after pleading with a supposed supervisor. I called Dublin taxi and they gladly accepted the payment. If anyone lives or needs a ride on the north side of town I highly recommend Dublin taxi over Columbus yellow cab. Hell, Id suggest flagging down anyone or walking before calling yellow cab again. I only give 1 star because there is no lower rating allowed.

The taxi showed up an hour and a half late. It took me forever to get to my destination(work). I used my card to pay for the taxi and and they took extra money from my account. I was worried after reading these reviews. I order a cab for a doctors appointment the day before. I received a phone call 20 minutes before the scheduled arrival time letting me know that my ordered cab was on its way. I received a call from the driver that he would be there in 5 to10 minutes. He was very nice and arrived early. When he dropped me off, he said to call him when I was done and that he would arrive to take me back home. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience today. I was in Unit 221 today. I would definitely recommend this service!

They act like they are really busy but honestly they should have plenty of time since uber and lyft is taking all of there customers. Today my 84 year old dad had a doctors appointment at 3:30pm. I arranged for Yellow Cab to pick him up from the adult daycare that he goes to. According to my phone, Zach in the Call center called called at 2:35pm to inform me that my dad had two minutes to get outside or he we send the cab away. I explained to Zach my dads age and that he walks with a walker and that it is not reasonable to expect for him to get outside in two minutes. Zach responded by telling me that he had two minutes to get outside or he would send the cab away. Zach sent the cab away. I am very disappointed that Yellow Cab employs people that are not compassionate. My dad is a military veteran who helped fight for the freedoms that we have. I am appalled that Zach and (Yellow Cab) would give a Veteran or any person this kind of treatment. It is unreasonable and incensitive. I AM VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED. Hopefuly we can work through this with the BBB.

I booked a ride the night before through Taxi Magic to have a taxi come pick me up the next day at 11 am to take me to the airport. Taxi Magic made my booking through Yellow Cab Columbus. At 10:30 am the next day, I called Yellow Cab Columbus to confirm that they had received my reservation. The lady on the phone immediately knew who I was before I said anything (must have pulled up my reservation using the phone number I called with) and she asked me what my destination was (taxi magic never asked for this). She said she would try to have a taxi pick me up as close to 11 am as she could. The driver showed up to the house at 10:59 am, and we were on the road at 11 am. Couldnt have been any better, and I would most definitely recommend Yellow Cab Columbus.

I called for a cab at 7:00 am this morning. They kept saying they were trying to find a driver. It is now, 9: 20am. TWO HOURS! Still no cab to be seen. I am a customer who is level-headed but this is beyond ridiculous. Do not promise one thing and fail to execute it. So I have a right to be upset. I even came back after they left with no ride to the airport, which I had scheduled ahead of time. I almost missed my flight and had to use another cab company. Due to this new failure up by Yellow Cab, I am now late to work. I called an hour a head of time. Now I am an hour late, more than an hour. I am extremely angry and if I am will be sure to let people know about this. Good luck if you have to be somewhere on time cause Yellow Cab will make sure you are late!

I wasnt a customer but I was shopping at Easton when a Yellow Cab #471 blocked me from parking at a meter...he didnt want to park there but for some reason refused to back-up or go around me. Customers got in his car and he still wouldnt move so about 5mins later I drove on and parked somewhere else. Wouldnt you know it but he followed me to harassed me more, with customers in the car! Luckily I found mall security and they made him leave. This is how they act on the clock? I wouldnt want to be in a car with him!

I used their web-site to arrange for two cab rides. Both times they were well over an hour late, making me late for work (I gave them 45 minutes leeway!). I tried calling, and couldnt even get through the lines to talk to an actual person. I wont be using this service again.

I had no problem with the drivers, but the dispatchers were completely inconsiderate and downright rude. After waiting an hour for a taxi to come, I called back and said, I really need a taxi now. The gentleman on the phone responded, Oh, ok so you want the taxi to pull up this second as were speaking? Unnecessary sarcasm, no regard for their customers, and poor service. I will never hail their services again.

My car broke down and I had to use Yellow Cab to run errands. They were on time EACH TIME I ordered the cab, early in some instances. They were polite and professional. It seems most people complain about the company, but they need to understand this is a cab service, not a scheduled bus service. If youre calling a cab in the early hours or during rush hour theres a high chance they will be late. Always call at least an hour before you need pick-up, pay with cash and tip. Your trip will be headache free.

So I’m an account customer I’ve currently been using YellowCabColumbus for two years and until recently it hasn’t been bad enough that I’ve felt like I’ve had to say something but I’m currently caller number 30 waiting just to get ahold of sum one to call a cab I don’t drive cus of my disability so this is literally my only option this started happening when they changed there automated system so all account calls are combined into one but if you don’t even have enough staff to answer calls or enough drivers to pick up people and I’m having to wait 30 mins just to talk to someone that’s just bad business and maybe they should be in business if they can’t handle the business they get again I’m waiting 30min to talk to sum one that’s not even including the time it’s going to take for the cab to get here just bad business

I have been waiting for 1 hr I have called the office 2 times and I can not get a ETA for the cab the 2nd time I called the dispatcher told me that she did not have time for me and that she would call me when my cab was on the way after being in a truck for 12 hrs I have to wait to be picked up and it has been over 1 hr still no cab and the dispatcher got mad at me because I did not have the address for the hotel I going to this will be the last time I will ride in a yellow cab of Columbus if I even get picked up!!!! I called a different cab after waiting 2 hrs thay got to me in 10 min so myself I will never call yellow cab of Columbus ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolute worst cab company ever! An elderly man called at 4pm and when I left work he was still waiting that was at 10pm. How in the hell do you only have 1 wheelchair accessible taxi for the whole city of Columbus?? That is just ridiculous and pathetic! Shame on you yellow cab you suck!!
