We booked urban charters for our wedding and had a great experience! The driver was on time and the bus was clean. I would recommend booking with them!!

4/8/2019 a van with this company logo (plate number PJT 8708) was driving out of the Glen neighborhood in Hilliard headed down Dublin rd. The speed limit is 45 mph on the road but the driver was traveling 25-35 mph the entire time looking into the mirror. Intentionally slowing down traffic and enjoying it. Then when I got into the right lane to turn on Roberts rd, he slowed down on his brakes again to be next to me (going around 20 mph in a 45) when there was nothing but open rd in front of him. This behavior is ridiculous and childish.

I used this service for a family reunion, and it made it so easy and convenient to transport my family members around to and from their hotels and restaurants and events all over the city. We used Urban Express for transportation back and forth for UPS training. The bus that was used was very nice, comfortable, large enough for our entire class and the driver, Kacy was extremely friendly and personable. Good taste in music and stayed safe.

Urban express transported my sons football team to Illinois. We had an excellent experience.. The bus was well equipped, TV DVD player and a bathroom. Driver is so RUDE, has bus smelling like Cigarettes. When the special needs individuals say Good Morning he wont even look at them. I booked a field trip for our youth group. For a first time experience, it was pretty good and we will definitely use you again. It was much more convenient than trying to transport ourselves and your flexibility in time was great. I want to leave a special thank you to our driver. She was incredibly patient as we seemed to take forever to corral almost 50 kids on the bus and getting a head counts at each stop.

Ive never used this business for logistics however, Ive seen and experienced their shuttle drivers flying around Columbus with reckless abandon. On 03-22-18 I was on traveling on 270-N just past 33 when one of their drivers in shuttle unit 146 raced up to beat his merge and almost hit my Simi. I laid on the horn slowing down so there wouldnt be an accident and he or she blew right passed on their way to pick up another satisfied customer. These are 4-to 6 thousand pound vehicles that could easily take a life. Maybe screen your underpaid drivers better Urban..

Hands down one of the best companies I have ever worked with. I was in need of transportation for an event very last minute. Another company had double booked our bus and I thought I was totally out of luck, my boss was going to kill me. I got a hold of Urban Express and they just made things happen. Very easy to work with and not to mention the buses were immaculate. The driver kept me calm and laughing the whole trip. It was a pure miracle. They drivers are primarily responsible for transporting the wedding party or whomever, but they need to be considerate of other drivers as well. This bus merrily blocked my street so that I couldnt pull in, and when I asked him to move, he took his sweet time doing so. (It would have been the easiest thing in the world just to go around the block.) Then, when I called the Hows my driving number, the woman answering the phone was gruff and did not apologize.I certainly wouldnt use this service if it were my decision.

In serious trouble for putting unsafe buses and drivers on the road, swerving and driving off the road with dozens of school kids, and law enforcement, when they caught up with the buses after numerous 911 calls, found the drivers groggy and unfit to drive. Use extreme caution before trusting this company with your children. They need to start issuing a refund to those kids in WV whose field trip they ruined.

Ive never worked with a Central Ohio transportation service that is so accommodating. My business had a very last minute request for 5 large buses, within two days we had everything organized and Urban accommodated a very complex pick-up/drop-off schedule. Very impressed with the dedication from staff of all levels. Even with bad weather buses were still on time for our event.

Great service and the best experience. We contracted Urban Express for our convention in Columbus, Ohio. We were pleased from the time we stepped out of the airport to the time we returned to the airport. On time every day, great and friendly drivers, clean and newer vehicles and buses. Do not use this company! I used for my daughters wedding. Instead of enjoying my daughters wedding reception, I was on the phone hunting down the shuttle and driver. We were supposed to have a 9:30 pick up to return guests to the hotel. The shuttle showed up at 10! I spent 40 minutes on the phone trying to get to the bottom of this. Then they had the nerve to lie to me that the shuttle had already made a pick up, which wasnt true. I stood outside from 9:20-10:00 until the shuttle showed up. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Ruined my night. Trust the reviews on here. Dont use this company.

Urban Express is a horrible provider. It only takes one employee to ruin the reputation of this company. Roslyn was mean, rude and unhelpful. She should not be driving people around who have disabilities. My experience today was worse than could be imagined. She needs to be fired for her behavior. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Please share this with anyone you care about.

PSA: DONT USE URBAN EXPRESS CHARTER!!!Our marching band was not able to make it to the playoff game last night. We were supposed to load the charter buses at 3:30 and scheduled to leave at 3:45. The 1st bus didnt arrive until 4. The 2nd bus apparently broke down (although I have heard thats not entirely true). Around 4:30, the company said the 2nd bus was on its way... arriving within 15 minutes. We loaded the 1st bus and started putting the 2nd bus kids instruments in the trailer (to save loading time) because we thought the 2nd would be there soon. At 5:30, it was decided that there was no point because it was likely that we wouldnt even make it by half time. By 5:45, we cleared the 1st bus and sent it away and many of the kids had left for home. Then about 5 minutes later, the 2nd bus finally showed up.... over 2 hours late! From what I have read about this company, the 15 more minutes seems to be a common response when the company has failed to provide a service that they were contracted to do. Extremely unprofessional!!! Now our seniors wont get to perform in their last game! So many disappointed students and parents!

If you want buses that are on time, reliable and drivers with a professional attitude, look elsewhere. Our organization rented three buses. Two showed up on time and of those two, the bus driver of one took an extended restroom visit. They left about 30 minutes late and the third bus didnt even arrive for another 20 minutes. When buses were to bring us home, they all were 30 minutes late. Drivers and management were​ unapologetic. I rarely give 1 star review, but Urban Express deserves less.

Save yourself the headache. They are cheaper but its not worth it. The whole process of reserving was so sketchy. I emailed back and forth with their sales guy Ken. He told me I didnt need to put 20% down to make my reservation and to ignore on the contract. Then I call to ask questions. I get a very nice customer service rep, Janet. She did not have me on the books. She told me to fill out the credit card forms and another contract. They did need me to put 20% down to book the reservation. They charged me the whole amount (!!!!).Then I call 4 days before my wedding to confirm to find out if they have booster/car seats. I call twice get a human and that human hangs up on me. I call another 2 times before I get another human. Then that human says theyll call me back. They didnt.I call for the 5th time. I get Janet again. I find out they didnt have my reservation (but they already charge my CC). Their Customer Service rep Janet, is great to talk to but she just isnt supported by her sales guys or her other fellow customer service ppl.The whole thing was telling me they are a unreliable company, so I cancelled my reservation. They have the nerve to only refund 80% of what they charged me. Because you know, keeping my 20% was just how they do business. Hope that $100 goes to Janet because shes the only one that did any work.

We reserved one of their trolleys for my sisters wedding. There are only two companies in Columbus that offer trolley rentals. Since the other company was already booked, we went with Urban Express. What a disaster. After booking more than 8 months before the wedding, they cancelled only 4 days before it -- via email (not even a phone call)! Finding transportation for a bridal party during June in Columbus is next to impossible. The way they handled the situation was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Their customer service was rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. At one point, I was even laughed at. That left me speechless. Two days before the wedding they even called to say they had the trolley for us, only to call back a few minutes later and say nevermind, they didnt. Really an unbelievably miserable experience with them. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. We booked with another company who was wonderful and had no issues with them. I will never use Urban Express again, and I would recommend looking elsewhere for your transportation needs!!! If I could have given no stars, I would have.

It was terrible!, We had a flat tire on the way to our destination and waited almost five hours until a person was sent to change the tire. On the way home the bus would not go over 18 miles an hour on the burm of the highway. It took 10 hours to travel 200 miles. We finally stopped when the state police made our driver park the bus. The company finally put us up in a motel for the night. Our driver was very courteous and patient through the entire experience
