Took my almost 2 year old here today for a class and we loved it! The host, Liberty, made everything so fun and interactive. They did a great job of cleaning everything and making us feel safe. We cant wait to go back! And, we are planning my daughters 2nd birthday there!
Don’t take your neurodiverse child here. The staff all seemed extremely uncomfortable around my autistic son and avoided interaction with him. It was painful to see other children and their parents receive a much more welcoming and friendly attitude than we ever did. My son actually loved coming but we quit because I wasn’t willing to pay for him to be subjected to this. If your child is “normal” though, you should be fine.
I’ve had countless great times here! Today we had my sons 4th birthday party here. Dana,Natalie, and Ann were more than amazing. This is simply the dream team! I honestly cannot put into words how impressed I was. All the guests kept coming up to me and just saying Wow! This is amazing. These ladies weren’t fake like most places you go to. They truly want the kids to have the time of their life. They make sure every individual kid is safe and smiling. Extremely animated which kids love! Gosh you all were just perfection!!!Dana, we’ve seen you multiple times. You truly have a gift with kids. You light up their world anytime you’re playing a game, telling a story, and just simple interacting with them. I wish... I had your energy! You are truly a gem. Thank you so much for making today perfect. Also, this place is extremely clean! Had to point that out.Everyone please tip! At the end of your party time you will check out. There is a tip entry. They really deserve it.Thank you!The Simoninis
As an OT I could go on and on about how the classes provide activities that promote gross motor skills, visual motor integration skills, sensory input, social skills, and underlying strength/support needed for fine motor development, however, the more important thing is that my boy has a great time and is learning through play. We have been attending for 5 months and he gets very excited when we arrive - I can barely get my shoes off in time to keep him from getting into the gym without me. I have watched his confidence build as he has learned to navigate the gym equipment, which has generalized to confidence in gross motor skills in all environments. I believe his confidence in movement from being at the gym helped him to start walking. Additionally, the staff is great. I think they did a superb job of initially allowing space for my son (and really me) to feel comfortable at the gym and with the equipment, building rapport. We are always welcomed with energy and a smile.I really want to foster a love of physical activity in play, and I can’t imagine a better place to do it. The excellent staff and clean/safe environment provides the perfect atmosphere for just that.
Best place ever! My son learned so much from his class and looks forward to going every week. The staff is very friendly, well trained and professional. I cannot say enough great things about this location! (:
Child is happy and active
My 10 month son and I have been going here for a little over a month now. We have been very happy with the classes. It is a fun and engaging environment, and the teachers are so kind. They meet each kid wherever he or she is developmentally. We love coming here each week!
This is a great gym experience for kids of all ages. The teachers are engaged and the kids love all the different activities. The layout of the gym changes each class and its always very different and keeps the kids interested. I especially like this gym for the winter months to make sure the kids get some time to run around and play even if its freezing out. They have a rock wall, a trampoline, a zip line, parallel bars, a ball pit, a variety of mats and slides and other equipment and there always seems to be some new prop theyre bringing in. My kids have gotten sick of other classes after a while but they always want to do these classes. The gym also gives free classes out once in a while and you can register for anything in your childs age range, and there are free open gym times each week too. I especially like the ninja training class.
Great, clean environment for growth and development of social and physical skills for children from infant and up.Teachers at this location are attentive and encouraging! My son has grown leaps and bounds in the Mighty Mites class.LOVE MyGym Columbia!
Very unhappy with this place long story short booked my daughters party under the impression that the party was longer staff never informed me of any information plus its way toooooo high for 1 hour and 30 mins they told me they dont do refunds or transfers but they were willing to let my daughter come and play at that point I just wanted a refund. Never will I ever go there or let any of my circle of moms take their kids there.
My toddler attended two classes at this location. For the most part, the classes are structured well. The music can be very loud at times. The staff are nice to some parents and standoffish to others. Overall, its a good kids gym.
We absolutely love MyGym! The staff members are professional, enthusiastic, and offer lots of encouragement and support. They are also very attentive to the childrens varying needs. My shy 4 year old loves his teachers and looks forward to attending class every week.
We love My Gym. Its an amazing place for little ones with amazing, kind, passionate staff.
A great place for kids to learn physical skills in a fun, controlled way. Wonderful staff
My daughter has been attending My Gym for a year and we couldnt be happier here! The staff is fabulous!
I prefer my gym to gymboree because of various play equipment.
Gym was nice enough, however everytime my kid went they would get sick a few days later, they also have a draconian policy of having to physically show up when you want to cancel, you cant simply call or otherwise notify them you want to discontinue membership.
