They get you in a work site quick but after that you’re on your own. Can’t get in contact with a representative about anything. I’ve been texting,emailing and calling a Fran for over a month regarding changes and information I needed for a time sensitive matter but to no avail. Grateful to be employed and have an income but this company is absolutely HORRIBLE and lacks all professionalism as my initial representative had an attitude from the purest pits of HELL!

I know someone personally that works through Kelly Services. Their communication and all around response is poor for them to be a temp service. My friend has been trying to reach out to them since February about a time sensitive situation, and hasn’t had response but once. My friend responded to that and nothing else again and that was April 1 or 2. GO ELSE WHERE FOR A JOB PLEASE ITS A WASTE

Sherri Lorentz was incredibly rude for no reason. She will talk down to you on the phone in a condescending way if things were miscommunicated (by her own coworkers and I get blamed for it). Kelly Services is hard to get into based on how terrible the management is coordinated and soon as you get in they talk to you lowly. I can respect constructive criticism but if there are things out of your control due to timing issues and health especially during this pandemic, nothing is “ convoluted” as she put it in our telephone conversation. She really got under my skin the way she spoke to me over the phone. I would hope no one ever is spoken to the way she did to me because she deserves to be corrected for her foul behavior. If I had to guess she doesn’t have kids or if she does I pray nothing happens to them like my kid and doesn’t have anyone talk to her like she was lying or felt like things doesn’t happen to good people at the wrong time. She really needs to be retrained on how she talks to people and show empathy or her job would be on the line due to someone having a good lawyer.

I was very disappointed with the experience. When i went to website it ssid they open at 9:30, then i hit directions and went there. They were not open, but they had phone number on door. I call and have to leave a message, that was about 3 hours ago. Corona virus or not if you run a staffing agency and people want to work, you should be open to fill those positions.

Kelly Staffing was a great company to work with! We hire a lot of seasonal workers and in this hard to hire area, the wonderful staff of the Kelly Columbia branch helped us to fill those positions. The staff was very courteous and caring of what my needs were, not to mention friendly. The Staff at Kelly were very supportive and deliberate when understanding the need and employees i was looking for. They took the time out of their busy day to come and tour my facility to have a better understanding of what was required for the employees they were recruiting for my company. I have the greatest respect for Kelly for being observant as to what my needs as a hiring manager were. I will gladly use Kelly again as they took the work load of finding the right employees to fill the positions that i needed. The whole process was effortless and within a few week we were fully staffed with great employees. I would recommend to anyone reading this to allow Kelly to work with you in building the team that you may need!

I am very disappointed with this office.They do not answer the phone, they do not return phone calls, and they are very unprofessional, cold, and disrespectful. They do not care about job seekers and therefore should not be in the recruiting business.After going through a lot of runaround I finally got a chance to fill out an application, they said that there was a position I was a good fit for. They sent the job description and I applied.The recruiter told me to fill out the paperwork. It was very extensive but that part did not bother me. What bothered me was that once I submitted my paperwork I did not hear from them. I called them about a week later to find out the status of my application and the recruiter that answered the phone told me that the paper work that I submitted was not valid because they gave me a code that belongs to my past employment with Kelly. So I asked how come they did not call me back right away to fix the problem and she stated that they did not realize what was going on until I called.They said that they would give me a new code and I had to resubmit. She told me that she knew it was a lot of work but it had to be done and thats right, she did not apologize for their mistake and my inconvenience. Now that I think about it I should not have fill out the paperwork but I needed a job and was willing to do all I could to be employed.After resubmitting my paperwork and applying for the position I did not get a follow-up call or an email about the status of my application, even though the recruiter said that she would call and let me know. About a week later I called and she told me, Oh I was just about to call you...Days after another Kelly recruiter from that same office called me about that same position to see if I wanted to apply. I proceeded to tell him that I already interviewed for the position he was calling about. He was very surprised which shows disorganization and lack of communication in that office.Needless to say, my experience with these Kelly recruiters was horrible. I do not recommend.

I was given the run around for months. They do not help you find any job around here. Do not trust them to find you a job. Tiffany Patzer does not follow up with you or help you with your job search. All they have is a bunch of jobs with blue cross, which you can apply directly to at blue cross. They give you these outdated test. The volume does not work, which have nothing to do with the job itself. All these recruiters do is lie and play games.

Ive worked for Kelly several times over the years. Its a great way to get an entry level position, which has always led to getting hired in a better position in a few weeks or months. I always know what to expect with Kelly because they are extremely professional. No other staffing agency is so easy to work with. I really feel like they support me when Im on an assignment, because they want me to succeed.

Recruiters from out of state were awesome! However, I didnt receive a call until after applying to several positions. I simply inquired about why I never got a call from an agent from my local office. I know that they are a global company however, in my experience with talent agencies the process was different. No big deal right...? Instead I recived a lengthy condescending voicemail. Stating how impossible it is to respond to applications and how of the few applications I submitted positions were still available so I should be patient. Im not sure if the individual was frustrated or took the tone of my emailed inquiry the wrong way but I felt talked down to. Finding a new job/ career is hard, the people who are supposed to be helping shouldnt make it harder or make you feel small. Not impressed.

Dont waste your time here.. They let you do the paperwork and let you take the drug test and perform a background check. Everything was fine except waiting for background check. Margaret (Maggie) Pfohl gave me the runaround saying my background check was still pending. It doesnt take over 3 weeks to get a basic background check, when it should of naturally taken about a week. Rest assured, I have a clean record anyway. The staff has a dont care attitude expression when you ask questions. Im pretty sure bills dont wait for anyone and thats its crucial to find work fast.

I have worked through Kelly twice, once in 2014 and a few weeks ago as well. They are very helpful, and they respond promptly when I email them asking questions. They have looked out for me, and if a job wasnt a right fit, they would keep looking. Thank you to the Kelly Service employees for helping me find jobs when I needed them the most!

The entire branch at the Columbia location exemplified the meaning of exceptional customer service. No only to me (someone who showed up without an appointment) but to those around me that I witnessed first hand. This company is absolutely horrible. They always claim not to have any jobs available at their branch, when you can clearly go online and see the jobs posted there. Oh, and dont bother applying for the jobs that are posted online, because even though you may be highly qualified, you STILL wont hear back from this company. Ive never been so disgusted with a company in my life.

I have dealt with members of Kelly Services outside of this office. The members that are included in the Columbia SC Office is only for themselves. Clocking themselves in and pretending to care about there clients. They never respond back when you have left several emails and voicemails expecting a return email or call. The members outside the Columbia jurisdictions seems to care but are unable to help because they are in another county. If you are able to reach someone they are rude and doesn’t help at all. The entire Kelly Service of Columbia needs to be replace. As long as they are continuing to receive a paycheck while their clients are sitting by the phone checking that there are no emails or calls from them. As long as their families get to be clothed and eat they say the hell with there clients.

I would give them no stars. You will go through the whole process and still wont get put on with a job unless its blue cross blue shield and they are full of bs too. Just dont waste your time.

Amy Campbell never answers the phone but will quickly reply back to emails . Job & pay was good but always make sure paperwork & your check stubs are correct because they take forever to help you. You literally have to harass the recruiters, call everyday & go by there to talk to someone & you MAY get an answer ...frustrating!

Never in my entire life have I been so disrespected and ignored at the same time . I had a Face time interview set for 2:00. I get a call around 2:01 ( while I am attempting to connect to the site ) Kelly services call me . She never gave me her name, But she stated that in 2005 I had a bad drug test & I would have to take another one before i am considered to reapply . I got up ( now its 2:12) and paid for my own drug test ($30.00) . Came back clean, BECAUSE I NEVER DID DRUGS IN MY LIFE ! I called back to KS and was told now that it is now my background . But in 2005 i was only 16 and i lived in a different state. I told them that it has to be an error and Mandy at the Columbia branch told me Oh well I dont know what to tell you .Have a good day ...... but i guess someone was on my side because i am now employed by Geico ! Kelly services can kiss it !

Kelly Services is such an awesome company!!! I worked with Shanell Wilkes and she found me my dream job at Palmetto Health Baptist!!!! She is the best Talent Acquisition Manager I have ever worked with. She was so quick with helping me. They gave me a second chance and Im so grateful for them!!!! My experience with Kelly in the past was great. They were very helpful at getting you placed on a good job. Now the personnel has changed and the service now is terrible. They lie and say there are no full time jobs available. The lady that has worked with me seem to have a contract to fill one or three day jobs for some muffin company while there are open positions in my field of experience. Its almost as though certain people are offered certain jobs.

Terrible. They found me a job pretty quickly but the job description the lady at Kelly Services gave me was completely different than what the job was actually for. I talked to the lady at Kelly many times trying to explain to her what the job was really for. She kept telling me to stay and stick it out and pressured me no matter how much I kept telling her I wanted to switch to something that fit my skills. She insisted it was the right position for me and it definitely was NOT. She put me in an awkward position with the company. I also didnt get paid for over three weeks. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

If I could give Kelly Services a negative 10 score, I WOULD. These are the most incompetent people Ive ever dealt with! My boyfriend went there in person to inquire and was hoping to apply for a job, but when he got there, they had him waiting almost 20 minutes before someone came to assist him. When he finally thought that someone was coming over to assist him, they told him to call back later that day and gave him a card. Thats it!Well, he called as they instructed him to do so. So he called the very next hour to give them time. No one picked up so he left a message. He has left a total of 7 messages and NO ONE has even attempted to call back. I finally got frustrated after waiting for 2 weeks (still with no job) and told him to trying going there again in person. He went back to their office only to be told by someone else that he needed to fill out some paperwork, etc.. My question was... WHY DIDNT THE FIRST INCOMPETENT PERSON TELL HIM THAT TO BEGIN WITH?!?Well he filled out the paperwork, waited another week and a half with no response. He called again and told the lady who picked up that hes been waiting almost 4 weeks just to hear a simple Yes or even a simple No, but NO ONE will call back. She sounded like she wanted to really help and told him someone would call him back by the end of the business day...guess what NO CALL! I dont care if they didnt have any jobs or whatever the case may be. All we wanted was for someone to simply say Yes, that job is available! or even No, that job is not available at this time.They are sitting on their ass getting paid to ignore and NOT answer phone calls. Its sad when people are really trying to make a honest living instead of robbing people homes while theyre sitting at their comfy office jobs, or relying on food stamps and other government assistance. But LAZY people over at Kelly Services are not in the business to help but instead sit at their comfy office jobs all day and do NOTHING!

Kelly is good to work for if youre dealing with the educational subbing department, but stay away from .Sherri Lorentz. She is the manager there and she was very condescending, rude and downright ugly to my high-functioning autistic fiance after he mentioned that he couldnt work the computer to print out the application for a warehouse job! Other people in the waiting room said that she was rude to them as well. They need to fire her.

I love working for Kelly Services. Every assignment did not always match my skill level, but I was in need of a job, and they called me quite regularly asking how was my job search going even when something may not have been available. They never gave up on me. Kelly Services representatives may tell you to stick with a position if there are no other positions elsewhere. Sometimes you may have an assignment out of your field, but when you need to pay your bills, you put on a positive hat and stick with it. In addition to Kelly trying to find you a great assignment, you get paid every week. I was in a position where I had NOTHING. NO INCOME. I was placed in telemarketing. Something that I dreaded, and never ever wanted to do. But not taking the position would have kept me broke, and struggling, and possibly waiting even longer for the next position to come for me. Every agent is different. But the clients attitude plays a big part on how the agency will work for them. Kelly is the agency that finds the job. They have not personally worked the assignment they are sent on. I have been told one thing by Kelly and another by a Job site manager, and found out the JOB mislead Kelly Services to believe I would be a receptionist and it turned out they wanted me to sell insurance. Something else I did NOT want to do. The only reason I stayed was because there was not an immediate position to place me in. The best thing about sticking with an assignment is 1.You are STILL getting paid. 2. You are employed and gaining more skills, & 3. Once your agent is aware you are not happy with your position they will look for you something else. In the even you quit an assignment it will be harder to place you, because Kelly has to also look at protection of the company. If they have a candidate always complaining or quitting, there is no guarantee that the candidate will ever be right for any Kelly Service assignment. So that person with a bad attitude may get called less, just because they displayed poor behavior towards a situation that was meant to help them be in a better position of having a job. I Love Kelly Services. If it wasnt for them I couldnt pay my bills, daycare, car insurance, or feed my family.

They never answer their phones or return calls. I was standing in the office and their phones were just timing they were not answering. You have to go up there to get things handled. They messed up pay every week. So many people didnt get paid for weeks. The job assignments are great but working through their temp agency is horrible. I wouldnt recommend.

This agency makes me wonder if the offices are privately owned because they seem to have no guidance. They rush to get paperwork done but then slow to place you on an assignment. The recruiters dont work together because I had three people call me about the same position that I had already tested for, completed drug testing for, and interviewed twice for. In addition, no one EVER answers the phone, and I had to complete the new hire forms online THREE TIMES! As they stressed, I gave a two-week notice in writing (via email) on yesterday because I accepted permanent employment with another company. I received no response from them whatsoever but in returning to work this morning, I learned that they had deactivated my badge. They couldnt even find a recruiter to come down and talk to me after they took my badge....the poor lady from HR had to come over and be thrown in the fire! Shouts out to Kaya!! Shes the best HR! Im a professional and I do things the right way but had I known that they are rachet, I would have waited until the last day to quit. Thanks Kelly for being so unprofessional and unorganized. Not to mention the pay sucks! I loved my assignment but better things await me because Kelly is the worst! Another onboard agency paid their employees $1 more than Kelly for the same position.

Kelly services is a horrible temp. Service. Everytime I have tried to work with them it has ended in disaster. They have told me on one occasion that I had a position. They had me take the drug test and everything. Later on that week, I called to check on when I should come in to sign the paperwork to start the job, at which point I was told that they mixed up my information with someone elses. Again, they called me for another job before thanksgiving. They were suppose to be following up with me to have me take some pre employment testing. I spoke to this representative once and I have NEVER been able to get in touch with this kelly rep. Again. Also, if there is a jelly services on site at a job, you can forget about it. They never return phone calls nor do they answer the phone. I would recommend this temp. Service to anyone.

This company is just horrible and ridiculous. They wanted to send me to a job in chapin and when I called them and left a message telling them that the job was to far for the amount the want to pay for the labelled me as non rehireable.

If you have Russel as your agent, try to change agents due to the fact that he will never contact you about your application process while he goes on vacation. In addition, if you have any complaints regarding the job, he will dismiss them and harass you for it.
