I absolutely love the pleasant staff Heather and Emily. They are kind and quick. The property is beautiful. Very well maintained. Maintenance staff fast and efficient. I am extremely happy with the decision moving here.Edward and Jose are the BEST!!!! I had a few maintenance issues, they are there promptly and fix what ever is the issue fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a wonderful place to live you should check out Bell Columbia. I have been here for more than 5 years and really love the staff from the front office to the maintenance crew. If I have any concerns which are always small I go online and place my work order and when I say maintenance come out within hours and if it late and not an emergency they will come the first thing in the morning. The front office treat me and family like we are their family. Its a small community and my neighbors are so friendly and very helpful. The staff host different events for the community to come together and with covid they have many virtual events, I love our community it is quiet, clean, and the staff and neighbors are very friendly.

Bell Columbia Apartments are fantastic! I loved touring here and would definitely recommend. Emily Jackson in the leasing office is always super helpful. The woods surrounding the property are very serene and the the area is quiet. Very pet friendly as well! My dog loved walking around here.

Visited here with my bf a few weeks ago. Parking was easy, the grounds were well kept and I really liked the floor plans for the apartments. Heather showed us around. She was so sweet and full of energy. We just moved in a month ago. Transferred from a sister property. They really try and work with you when it comes to transferring. I have to say this place has really grown on us in the last month. We absolutely love the surrounding area and all the walking paths and fall colors going on with the trees. Diana and Heather from the office are absolutely wonderful and kind. CJ from maintenance is quick to complete any thing you need. I have had some odd requests the first month and one late at night when we thought we did not have a key. His response time is very fast. He even threw out the garbage for me once. Everyone keeps to there self. There is a bus stop for the kids out front and a commuter bus to DC and to the mall that stop out front as well. The apartments are a bit older inside and you can tell by the small kitchen, windows, shelving and closet doors and overall outdated layout of the apartments. But you have tons of windows to look out clean new carpet or hardwood floor spacious bedrooms and dens and closets. The only thing i really dont like is the super small bathroom and kitchen. Thats why I took 1 star away.

What is there not to say about the service here! Place looks great, people are really friendly, and the location is sublime! I had an especially great encounter with Ms. Emily Jackson! She was extremely diligent when it came to my needs and she deserves a raise (IF any managers see this, just know you have a real one with you all). I really loved everything about my experience here at Bell Columbia and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a place in Columbia!

I wouldn’t live anywhere else. Since day 1 here, Bell Columbia had been the most accommodating and welcoming team. They make sure the residents are taken care of and will go out of there way to make sure we are safe, heard, and taken care of. Even with COVID, they have worked their tails off to make sure the community stays informed, fed, and loved. Bell Columbia, #WINNING!

The complex has a food truck event for the community had a couple weeks back and it was a great event!Also, the townhome style layout is perfect for a small family. Emily and Heather followed up with me very quickly and were kind and gracious. Loved seeing the team here work together!

Weve visited the site several times and love the peaceful atmosphere. My wife and I were considering moving onsite when we were in the process of selling one home and purchasing another but the time frame was much shorter between then we expected. The team is so kind and personable too!

I had a friend who lived in one of the townhomes here and I loved her place, it had beautiful high ceilings and a fireplace. I decided to tour here and the property did not disappoint. The staff are super helpful and very accommodating! I was shown multiple units, all of which were very clean, and the assistant property manager (Emily) touring me was very knowledgeable and kind in answering all my questions.

Middle of the night the water heater started to leak, submitted work order request, and let the Manager Heather know about it via email. I left home early to work, as soon as the office opened I got email that they maintenance team was starting to take care of the problem; the office kept me updated, until the work was completed. I’m thankful of everyone’s effort for getting the heater replaced, very professionally and nicely done, my deep appreciation to the maintenance team - Edward, Jose, anyone else involved 🙏🏼, and for saving me for a second cold shower! 😁

The staff was amazing! I booked a tour within 2 hours on the same day. They were very thorough of all the amenities and features in the apartments. Prices are a little out of my budgeted amount so I don’t know if I’ll pick this apartment. But it’s in the top 3 that I’ve seen in Columbia. And I’m super picky!

The good things about this place was the area.so prett wonderful paths. I absolutly fell inlove in the begining. The things i didnt like so much was the neighbors. They dont tend to just mind there business, they will look at your apartment all the time, watch you constantly. Its ridiculas. . Anyone with a medical card, you mine as well turn around. They had told me i couldnt legally smoke because it was a smoke free property. For 1 having a medical card legally allows you smoke or intake as you please, its not their business its medicine. Second they do not advertise as a smoke free property. When i mentiond that i do smoke cbd they said i needed a perscription, which if you educated no you dont. Maintence was great but i realized they always had new people with out noticed and someone the guys would consistantly look at the apartment as if they were looking for something to report. Its a great place if you over 30. Other then that go somewhere else.

Great community. Its a quiet and well kept property. The current manager is pretty nice and responsive to email inquiries. The maintenance man lives on site and is always very professional. I love living here! This was my first choice when looking at every property in the area and I actually decided on another property that ended up falling through. Heather in the rental office was the absolute sweetest most patient person and really made me feel welcome. When my other apt fell through, she immediately showed me both options at the Bell and handled everything so quickly for me.I feel very safe here and the apartments are great. All the neighbors are super friendly and maintenance handles any issues quickly- they even have a worker who installed my TVs!Yes the apartments are a bit older but they are very well maintained and the complex is always having events and doing something extra for us. If you are considering Columbia-this is a great community :)

Very nice place to live. Complex is backed up to a wooded area and trails. Staff and maintenance are great and very knowledgeable. CJ from maintenance took care of an appliance issue no problem! Staff always has events for the residents. Community is clean and always feel safe. Rent is reasonable for the area. Would highly recommend!

CJ and Nicholas the maintenance men are great. The rest of the staff in the are are great as well.The apartments are not great. The appliances, windows, doors, everything within the apartment is very out of date. We have had multiple doors fall of their tracks, multiple times, and have stopped requesting they be fixed as this is more of a hassle than dealing with it. The laundry machines smells, the dryer cant dry a load that has towels in it. And as stated above the maintenance and other staff are great but we dont want people in and out of our space on a weekly basis. I know most reviews like this sound comically brutal but its true as well.The rent was raised roughly 300 dollars recently when we renewed, however there is no upgrading being done to any of the apartments as far as I can tell.The hard part is that most other places are either in worst condition or much more expensive. Columbia is a very nice area with a lot to offer in terms of entertainment, food, and walking paths/parks. But be wary that you get a good apartment or just rent close by and buy your home here instead.

When my boyfriend and I were touring for apartments in the Columbia area, we looked at 18 other complexes before happening upon Bell Columbia. After meeting the staff and seeing the apartments, we were done searching. All of the staff was (and is!) so friendly and helpful, and that didnt come at the expense of the apartment amenities that we were looking for. Our apartment is clean, spacious, quiet, and in a great area of town; the maintenance team has a very quick turn around (which is great); and we love that the pool and gym are included in our monthly rent! When we first discovered Bell Columbia, we both agreed that it was the place for us; and being on our second lease, we have not changed our minds. It just feels like home.

While I have only lived here for 4 months, I cant brag enough about the efforts, dedication and time I have experienced from this dynamic Bell Columbia team, made up of Diana, Heather, and the Maintenance Supervisor C.J.!! If I have a concern the front office is on top of it! If I submit 1 or 4 maintenance request 😁 they have been completed in less than 24 hours. This team has made me feel right at home. Thank you all for what you do!

Diana, and the other front-office employees who run Bell Columbia Apartments, are great. We lived there for nearly four years and they have always been responsive and friendly. The only reason this review is four stars instead of five is because during the last few years of our stay there the the tenants seemed to only get worse (refused to throw their trash away and, instead, left it lying all around, stole from the fitness center, and were loud and extremely inconsiderate). The apartment staff recognized these things and were making active efforts to rectify them, I just wish there were more stringent screenings before allowing just anyone to become a tenant. All that said, we did greatly enjoy our stay at Bell Columbia Apartments!

We love living at Bell Columbia. Being a young couple, there are many things for us to do that are close by, like restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment. Our apartment is just the size that what we need and comes with all of the amenities that we could want. Definitely recommend.

CJ and Nicholas (the newest maintenance crew) have been very helpful and friendly. So please note that if you move here, the response times for maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner and with friendly service from both gentleman, so 5 stars for them!However, I do share in the sentiment of one tenant who reports that for the amount that we pay in rent, updates should be in place. The windows are very old, and are hard to open. The paint is chipping off of the balconys and a nice power wash would be amazing. The dryers do smell, and do not dry heavier materials (towels/blankets), and Oh my I thought that I was the only one having this issue! Doors have also failed to slide or become detached when you open them, and even though we are renters, I dont think that we should be expected to have lower standards of living just because we do not own the property. When you pay what we pay monthly its okay to have an expectation that the aesthetics would meet the amount that you pay.

The Bell Columbia Apartments is truly a secret getaway convienently located right outside of downtown Columbia. After once living in the high-rises of downtown, it was a refreshing change of pace to move somewhere so quiet and peaceful. There are miles of walking trails all around the property. The community is well-maintained and the staff is helpful and truly does care about your well-being while living here. The best part of my moving process was the helpfulness of the staff... Shanice, in particular. While touring the residence, she did not push and respected our time while we were on our house hunt. She was honest, polite and professional from the tour through the entire leasing process. The staff makes a point to celebrate their tenants each month... from pool parties to pet parades. My neighbors are friendly and I have never had any issues with noise complaints. I would recommend this property for any person looking to live in the beautiful scenery Columbia has to offer.

Pleasant apartments at a mostly reasonable price. Weve had our share of maintenance problems, but management and maintenance have both been responsive, if a little slow. Liked it enough that when we moved to a bigger place, we just decided to move across the complex.

Advertised as Hassle Free living. Ive been here for 3 months and am in a townhouse style apartment.Cons:-There are times when the office isnt open because the staff is out at lunch/running errands/giving tours. Ive had times where I would get there and I note the time that they will be back but when I come back that time was moved even further up. So I had to make multiple trips to the office.-Lots Carpenter Bees show up during the beginning of the Spring. Staff mentioned exterminators have been here but they keep coming back and not much can be done about it.-Floors and stairs are creaky (townhouse style) but walls between the apartments are good, havent heard any sounds from neighborsPros:-Quiet community-Great location-Great value-Great response time by staff (emails)-Maintenance response is pretty good

I had the unpleasant experience of having to deal with the manager as she filled in for vacated slot of the complex I live in. The entire company, Associated Estates is cheap, heartless and does not care that it is your home. The bottom line is the dollar and they will stop at nothing to save a penny or make a penny, including provide shoddy equipment (my AC is from 1987), use packing tape to seal windows and dont remove snow from parking lots until it is at 3 inches. Youll be happier in another community.

Pros:-Very quiet neighborhood-Theres always parking-Located close to the grocery store and mall-Friendly maintenance and lease office staff responds at a reasonable time, usually within 24 hours-Gym is available 24 hours and most residents are rarely there-Beautiful view and walking areasCons:-Overpriced. Not much price difference between a 1 bedroom versus a 2 bedroom-Our floor is slightly slanted (like a ramp) but doesnt bother me-Had a few issues with utilities: stove blew out our apartments electricity on the first week we moved in, knobs/doors have fallen off, AC and toilet didnt work on the first day, windows arent sealed so its always cold during the winter, toilet flushes twice-Not energy sufficient. BGE bill has increased over time despite us being conservative with electricity and heat-Water heater is old. I live with 2 other people, if one person showers with hot water for 20 mins or more there will be no hot water left-Had ants come through unsealed spaces (in bedroom and kitchen) during the end of summer, but was resolved within a week when staff requested pest controlOverall, its a great community and I definitely recommend if you dont mind the price.

Do not rent an apartment at Reflections.The apartment seemed fine when we first moved in but once the apartment started having maintenance problems we found how awful the management is. The lead maintenance worker is completely lazy, expect repairs to take weeks if not months (our furnace was never actually replaced after months of cold weather). The office manager was combative when we took our concerns to her, when we said that the ducts were so full of dust and mold that we did not feel safe turning on the heat she actually said that we must not need the heater! Our options, freeze or breathe filthy air. So we contacted a lawyer and the management finally fixed a few things, but when we had enough and left, the apartment still lacked a heater.

Diana and her staff are great; very warm, prompt, courteous and professional. I am proud to call this property home. The maintenance staff are very prompt so thanks to CJ and Trey.

Decent apartments in general, but over-priced. My apartment reeked of cigarette smoke from the prior tenant when we moved in. Some steps were taken to reduce it, but my fiance spent probably $100 putting out scent-absorbing gel over several months. Its been almost three years, and I think maybe smoke can not longer be smelled when someone showers in the downstairs bathroom.I pay for a covered parking space. Two weeks after I signed up for one, the price was reduced, but when I asked about it, I was told I could not have it at the lower price. When my new lease was written, I wasnt even given the option to remove the parking- and Im still paying the higher price.And the rent keeps steadily going up. The rent is probably about 22% higher than it should be.
