Though I was surprised at the fairly high cost of wasp removal these days, I was very pleased that technician Tim arrived at my house within an hour of my calling for an estimate. Tim was very efficient, friendly, and removed webs and nests from my shed and house. Tim educated me about dust vs. spray, and I observed him working the entire time so I can perhaps attempt to remove pests on my own in the future, to save money because of my extremely limited income. I was also pleased that there is a 30 day warranty in the event that wasps and black widows return in the next month, and a technician will return to dust and spray again with no fee.

I had a big underground yellow jacket nest in my back yard. A tech came out and dusted it with Tempo dust and then sprayed it with lots of insecticide liquid, and that successfully killed the nest. High Country was responsive, scheduled me for a next day appointment, and gave me a great quote. It cost much less than I thought it would. Im very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend!

Doug was my technician. He was VERY knowledgeable, professional, and attentive while working. He explained what he would be doing, how the pests will be affected by the treatment, etc. When he was finished he provided me with a debriefing to go over anything he saw, any concerns he may have and what specifically he was needing to do so I could get the best results. High Country took cate of a yellow jacket nest deep in a tree stump outside my house as well as a nest of ants. They have a 30 day guarantee and will come back free of charge within that time if the problem is not resolved. Its only been 2 days but it looks like the yellow jackets and ants are all gone.

I have used High Country for a few years and several different services including: bed bugs, roaches, Hornets and general bug maintenance. Every technician has been knowledgable, friendly and very efficient.My most recent service: Yesterday, while at my desk a brown recluse crawled on my arm. Naturally, I freaked out, squealed and killed it. I immediately called High Country, and they were here this morning.Any time I have had a bug issues they are very quick to respond and resolve the issue. I have yet to have a reoccurrence of said issue after they are here. Highly recommend using them.

We have an inspection & treatment done every other month to prevent any sort of insect or rodent problem which may arise. We have had this service for 15 years. Any problems found are promptly abated. If a problem arises between treatments, the company promptly responds. The best testimony is that we have had only one problem in all of this time. That was with wasps. The company responded promptly and the problem was quickly resolved.

Weve had a problem with flying ants swarming on the peak of our roof for 2 summers in a row, each time beginning in late July. With no signs of them anywhere in the house or attic we were confused as to why they kept showing up especially since we could see hundreds of them on the shingles. I was under the impression they were carpenter ants and I was worried there was an infestation somewhere on the roof that was going to cause damage. James from high country pest control came out and was very knowledgeable about the issue and treated the problem accordingly. I learned they were just harvester ants and its just their swarming season, it just so happens they picked my roof. He did a full exterior and garage treatment. Its safe to say he put my mind at ease knowing I did not have an infestation.

I have been using High Country Pest Control for the past year and a half. When we first started, I would have given them a 1 star, but now a 5 star. The very first visit was great, then I experienced the worst customer service I would have ever imagined. The service person that was assigned to out account never checked in with us to see how things were. One one occasion, serviced the outside and then left without ever even knocking, let alone come inside to service the interior of the home. Then the final straw was when he reported and billed for service, but being that we were home, can attest to the fact that he never even showed up.I waited for the next service visit to confront him in person and tell him to get his stuff and get out. Upon arrival, I saw that it was a new service tech, James. I had never seen James before, but told him very bluntly what had been happening and told him I knew it wasnt him, but he could simply collect all the traps and belongings and get them out and close the account so I could find a reputable company. James was very surprised to here this and asked I would be willing to fill him in thoroughly as to what had been happening. He asked if there was anything he could do to earn my trust and my business. He asked if he were to personally take over the account and make sure that we were taken care of at the highest level, would I give him one chance to earn my trust. I felt his genuineness and told him I would give him one chance. James talked with me to find out exactly what we needed and more importantly what we expected and wanted from him to be completely taken care of.He competed the regular service and then scheduled a no cost follow up 2 weeks later just to check on us and make sure all was on track. True to his word, James has been the only person for the last year and half that has been here and has delivered on EVERYTHING he promised he would. He completely delivered on his guarantee that he would earn our business and take care of us at the highest level. The kids and dogs know him and love when he comes. He is as personable as he is thorough and professional. He truly cares about his customers, his job, his reputation, and his company.

James has done an excellent job of getting rid of the tiny black bugs we had. He was diligent in working to eliminate them but finally had to cut into the wall and when he did he found the source and now I can happily report we are no longer seeing any more signs of the bugs!! This review is LONG overdue. We have been using High Country for 7 years now and we are very happy with their service! We do have our account set up on auto pilot because it is one less thing to worry about scheduling. I always get a call and a text with my appointment time but I can call and reschedule at any time if needed. After the service I get a very friendly message from the service provider detailing what was done and what was found. I currently only have them doing the outside of my house and I think that keeps spiders out of the house. I really never see any bugs in my house. I have had them come inside in the past and that service was good also. Thank you High Country!

Since starting the service I have never seen a wolf spider in my house, something I used to find regularly. I’ve used High Country Pest Control since moving here four years ago! I had a horrible wasp and fly problem upon moving in and they were the only company willing to come out and spray for them. I’ve used their maintenance program since and haven’t had any issues arise. Our guy Mark is always so polite and friendly when he comes out to spray, even asking how my family and dogs are doing. I contacted High Country after finding a black widow spider in my living room. I went on my neighborhood site and noticed many neighbors used them so figured that made the most sense since reviews from others were great and we live in the same area so bugs would be the same. James came out to do my 1st treatment and I had LOTS of questions and was extremely worried after finding the black widow. He took the time to explain so many details to me including what makes black widows more prevalent in an area, where they most likely live and do not live, what their webs look like, etc. He helped me figure out that the black widows most likely lived in my crawl space, but had probably come up in a the Halloween boxes I had brought up into my living room. Sure enough, we did find 1 more and it was in that crawl space. Luckily we have not found any further black widows since I began using High Country every 3 months and basically have seen 0 bugs at all in the past 8 months. They set me up on a monthly payment plan, send me notifications of appts and have worked so well with me if I need to reschedule. James had continued to be the one who comes out and is always familiar with my individual needs re:pest control. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about James and everyone I have dealt with at High Country Pest Control. I would highly recommend them.
