I recently moved to Colorado and Susie has cut and colored my hair several times so far. She is an exceptional hairstylist. She is patient, a great listener, and tremendously diligent. Her wealth of experience as a hairstylist becomes clear the moment you begin to discuss your goals for your desired look with her. I have walked into each appointment knowing that I am in good hands and I could not be more pleased with the results!

Susie has been fabulous. She knows hair color. Both my son and I have been going to her for over 1 year after my hair stylist retired. Every time l leave my color highlights look fantastic. I receive such compliments.

Nice place, got my haircut a couple weeks ago, the lady did a great job. Ive been trying to cut it myself during lockdown. She fixed it and was very friendly. Theyre also very safe and clean keeping everything sanitized. The place was bought and its called Austina now though. So the street marquee says Austin and the salon says Austina.

She has been doing my hair for many years since I was a child. She does a really well job and the price is affordable. I have Asian hair so it is really hard to deal with when I go to a salon, but she can deal with and give me the style I want. In my opinion I believe that she is one of the best hair cutter and deserves more attention.

I arrived for a shampoo and flat iron in early June. I left with fried hair and the hair wasnt sealed so it really was a waste. the stylist used archaic heat techniques and my hair STILL smells burned and its Aug. never again.. EVER!

HORRIBLE haircut and HORRIBLE customer service. Also, the manager lady was unprofessional and rude. She was making derogatory/racist comments about Muslims, African Americans, Indians, and Latinos. Made the situation extremely uncomfortable and I didnt think it was appropriate to talk poorly about racial/religious stereotypes with your customers.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

The female manager here is extremely racist and unprofessional.The subject of politics came up in conversation without prompt (she brought it up), and made extremely blunt comments about Muslims, out loud, to me. The statement I remember her saying is that Muslims are sketchy because they wear head coverings and we dont know what theyre hiding up there. She also commented on approving of Donald Trump banning them. I was so shocked I couldnt speak. She just laughed about what and acted uncannily casual, like it was some kind of joke...Not only is racism morally wrong and disgusting, there is also NO place for your personal opinions in a business context, especially if one openly discriminates against a group of individuals & creates fear-mongering. Because of the racist comments she made I will NEVER return to this establishment. (And, in addition, my haircut & color was of mediocre quality).EDIT: I posted my review on their Facebook page, expressing my concerns for them having an openly racist manager. Austin Hair & Co. reacted to my post with the laughing emoji. Seriously? Apparently, Austin Hair thinks racism is a joke. Their unprofessionalism and childish immaturity only further prove my point that this establishment should not have your business.

The hair cut was good BUT it wasnt cut as I requested nor worked for my type of hair. It was cut so short that at a month I have difficulty managing it.

I didnt even get an appointment for cut and style. I called on a Friday, about 1:30 PM to schedule for following week with any stylist. No one could take me. Person who answered phone was rude. They lost a potential customer.
