When learning self defense, it is important to have trust in your teachers and U.S. Taekwondo Center offers more than simple self defense. Training at U.S. Taekwondo Center - Stetson Hills has been life changing for my teenage daughter and I. Through Taekwondo and the encouragement of the wonderful staff we have learn to be confident and discipline. I learned that it is never to late for an adult to learn new things. It has been a great stress relief for me. My daughter and I have a closer relationship training together.

USTC has been a great fit for our son. He has built a great deal of confidence, respect, and work ethic from his involvement in the classes and events offered here. The instructors are amazing with students of all ages, and they even worked with us to come up with a payment plan that fit into our family budget. My husband, 2 of our adult children and I joined and are enjoying this amazing experience! All the instructors are wonderful! They really make it a personal experience and take the time to get to know everyone! It is also fun to be in classes with all ages! USTC is a great place to help you or your children gain confidence. It is also a great way to get your kids some exercise and gain friendships. The instructors are super encouraging and really help to build this kids up.

Honestly they are great and I’m not just saying that because I am a student at the school, but they have great staff and they want help you improve and they are really good about working with you on the skill set and financially! Let me put it this way I’m in college and because of the school was willing to work out an AFFORDABLE payment plan!

Highly recommend USTC! My son has been going to USTC for over 4 years now and the transformation in him has been amazing! Taekwondo builds confidence, character and respect! He recently obtained 1st degree black belt and now his sister is on her journey to black belt!

I want to warn anyone before signing a contract or paying upfront and ahead of time for all classes, if you have any type of life changing event they are not willing to work with you at all.Very disappointed and a very big waste of money

My son and I joined USTC 7 years ago. When we Joined it was simply to build some confidence in him and spend some time together. Little did we know when we joined we would be Joining a Family!! The US Taekwondo Center is amazing. Becoming a member has been one of the best decisions of my life. It isnt just for kids or families either. I joined in my mid- forties so I could stay active and learn something new. The members and instructors are like a second family. They have been incredibly supportive and I highly recommend this program .

This program is totally awesome on all levels. The instructors really care about their students both from a instructional point of view as well as personal as to how they are doing at home and school. All instruction is conducted in a professional and positive manner. The program encourages kids to work hard at training [and works them hard at training] but also rewards/recognizes/encourages positive actions at home in terms of family, personal care, at school, self discipline and reading [a critical skill in itself and a key to success]. Cannot say enough about the positive impact this program has made on my 7 year old grandson.

I signed both my daughters up 2 years ago. They enjoy and love it. Both have gained a lot of confidence and their attitudes and manners have greatly improved. Everyone at the school students and staff alike are very easy to get along with and help each other succeed in school and out. It is truly a family we have become part of.

We love the family friendly exercise! And its such a great way for kids to learn respect without me telling them all the time. I also love that my kids could defend themselves if they ever needed to. USTC is definitely a part of our family for life!

My girls started about 2 months ago and I cant say enough about how much this has changed their attitude. My oldest has gained so much confidence and my youngest has learned to be more focused. This is one of the most well organized and staffed martial art schools in Colorado Springs! The class schedules are easy to work with and the Grandmaster that teaches at this particular location was the first U.S. Olympic coach to train Taekwondo competitors in 1988! Theres a lot of great history at this school.

This is a fantastic program for both kids and adults. Respect, discipline, perseverance, and self-efficacy are hallmarks I see growing every day in my sons. I *highly* recommend this center to anyone (kids or adults) who want to grow personally.

All staff members are very professional. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, and always quick to return phone calls and answer questions. The instructors go out of their way to make sure each student gets the help and attention they need. They make every student feel like they matter. Classes are fun and the curriculum is both challenging and rewarding.Since weve been a part of USTC, my five-year-old has grown so much. Shes gone from being afraid to break her very first board to breaking them with ease. She is more respectful and is always asking what she can do to help around the house. Our whole family has gained more confidence and discipline. Weve also gained a second family...the USTC staff and students. Taekwondo has been a truly life-altering activity that our whole family enjoys. Whether you are looking for self-defense, healthy discipline, or just a great workout, this place is the absolute best.

We have been taking our children, who were 7 and 5, to the center for about a year. We absolutely love the discipline the instructors have thought our children but we also love how they continually display patience and grace towards our children while instructing them. Both of our children have shown such growth in the last year and we look forward to much more in the years to come. Both of the children are currently in the black belt club and we know they are going to thrive at this center.

Training at the USTC has been a great experience for us. We came in for a Girl Scout field trip and never left. Not only are we learning new skills, but we are also learning about the people we want to be. It has been a great thing for my girls and I cant wait for my boys to join us.

USTC Stetson Hills is not just a Taekwondo School it is a Taekwondo Family. The instructors are very friendly and easy to talk to about your child. They offer great instruction and the improvement in our son is amazing! There is always some kind of activity for your family to participate in and plenty of time for classes.Just beware that you will more then likely be asked to join the Black Belt Club. At first I was skeptical, but now it was the best decision and financial deal we have done for our son. He enjoys being part of the BBC and has grown in leaps and bounds.Thank you USTC!!

Besides misleading, indoctrinating and hard selling, I dont have other comments on this branch. Be careful of any verbal agreement, it would not be honored later. The indoctrination your kids are subjected to is worrisome if not harmful. Its not worth it.

My son and I started at USTC about 2.5 months ago and are really enjoying it. The staff at the Stetson Hills location is very professional and friendly and instructors all do a great job keeping the kids engaged.

I have been training with my family since the 90s at the US Taekwondo Center. The USTC isnt just another training center, its another home. I now train with my daughter and many friends. I am lucky to continue my Taekwondo Journey, but now with my daughter.

My boys, ages 8 and 6, have been attending USTC at Stetson Hills for almost one year. They currently have their purple belts and will be testing for their blue belts this week. We are so happy with everything they have learned so far. The instructors are excellent. The students learn much more than the art of Taekwondo. They also learn character, discipline, confidence and respect. They turn in weekly report cards in which they are rewarded for reading, practicing taekwondo, and good behavior. My boys are motivated to one day earn their black belts, because they are encouraged so much at this school!

Becoming a part of USTC with my kids is one of the best parenting decisions Ive ever made. The staff here arent just expert teachers, theyre good, kind people who truly care about my familys wellbeing outside the dojang as well as in class. The program builds respect, discipline, determination and perseverance as well as strong bodies and focused minds. We absolutely love this place and wholeheartedly recommend it.

All 3 of my children are members. My son, the oldest, is an accomplished black belt, now 23 years old, having begun at the age of 14. He participates in local to international competitions against other well trained martial arts black belt students from around the world and he has won in several categories including sparring. As a parent growing up in a family accustomed to martial arts and boxing, i assure you there is nothing fake about the US TAEKWONDO BLACK BELT. my daughters have become very independent and confident and i feel good knowing they have the skills to protect themselves as young ladies. The center also offers additional training in disarming a would be attacker, in protecting oneself, and a whole lot more than a standard multi-belt program. I definitely recommend the US Taekwondo Center to families and adults. Dont expext a 5 year old to do what a teenager or adult will do. Be realistic about your expectations. Im glad i waited till my children were old enough to benefit from the physical fitness, and real life defense aspects of the training, not to mention character and self confidence building. And no, no one prompted me to write this truthful remark. BTW, all the US Taekwondo locations are great. We started off in Monument, my oldest daughter practices at the Citadel location, and we have also used the Flintridge location.
