Great place! Over qualified instructors who are super caring and informative. They go above and beyond. 100% recommend, you have to try for yourself! I took their 3 day tactical civilian CCW gun course and I was floored with how great it was. Thanks guys, really means a lot!

Last weekend my girlfriend and I took their three day Armed Civilian Tactics course, and it was fantastic. I was pretty nervous that the instructors and environment would be unfriendly towards people who had little experience with guns, but it was the exact opposite. All three of our instructors were police officers, one of whom was in SWAT, and they were all very helpful, patient, and obviously, extremely knowledgeable. This course was just an amazing experience, and I now feel much more confident with both my handgun, and my ability to safely and efficiently use it, which is such an incredible relief. Thank you KMSCO!

Excellent school. I have been training here for over 2 years now. The instructors are very professional and help you through every technique of your self defense journey. Going here you will learn applicable self defense strategies, techniques and confidence. I dont believe that there is a better self defense school than this one. My training session here are the highlight of my days. I highly recommend Krav Maga of Southern Colorado.

My first class, I was nervous, new, and didn’t know what to do. I was walked through each step of every technique to ensure I was doing it correctly and not picking up bad habits. The instructors and the other students are so genuine and encouraging. The students have even helped me correct my techniques and have pushed me to do better. Everyone truly cares about each other and have such a great attitude and the environment is so positive. I love how we are all considered as a big family of positive energy and motivation. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place to anyone that wants to learn self-defense. You are taught the correct and proper ways to deliver a technique along with the uplifting motivation from the instructors and the other students. This place is absolutely amazing and I definitely would never go anywhere else.

My son stopped going here months ago and for some reason I’m still being charged even after calling and leaving a message. Classes would be closed all the time with no prior notice. Would be great if they could get organized.

Love this place! My girlfriend and I got the groupon and will continue to go well after it ends. The instructors are great, very personal professional people. We like what we are learning and hope to never have to use it, but we have the skills just in case.

If you are looking for a way to challenge yourself physically and are interested in adding important skills to defend not just you but family and friends, Krav Maga of SC is for you. Robert and Tyler are incredibly proficient in defense and are excellent in communicating that to even the most timid of learners. They allow for only a positive and encouraging atmosphere and are devoted to honoring others not only in the class, but outside of it as well. I walk away from every class a little stronger, a little more capable, and a heck of a lot sweatier.

Started about a month ago. Really love this place. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly. The class is easy to start no matter what your current physical condition is, and the students around you are of all ages, genders, and sizes. You walk away from the very first class with skills you can actually use. I cannot recommend this place enough PS its also just plain fun.

Ive been going to Krav SC for almost a year. The instruction is practical, challenging, and fun. Everyone is really friendly regardless of whether it is your first time or youve been going for years. Robert and Tyler are very skilled and patient teachers who meet you where you are at in skill level and push you to become better. I love going to practice and am proud of how far I have come since Ive started. I bring my teenage sons and they too love going. After every practice we go home and spend at least an hour talking about and practicing techniques we learned that day. Its such a great way to stay in shape, learn some self-defense skills, and have some bonding time. I would recommend Krav SC to anyone!!!

Great instructors, good hands on training, and I had a great time! We had quite a large class. We could barely all fit but that didnt stop the instructors from being hands on and attentive. I didnt really experience what I read in the only negative comment for this place. Anytime an instructor would notice how uncoordinated (Im saying this, they didnt) I was trying to pick up on a move they would jump in and walk me through it step by step until I understood how to improve what I was doing. Like the only negative review I saw for these guys, I also purchased my set of classes with a Groupon and they didnt seem to care either way. I was treated really well. Maybe if I would have gone in with a negative attitude I would have had a bad experience. I will definitely be signing up and returning for more classes when it expires based on my experience.

I cant recommend this enough. Been going for three months now, and its still my favorite part of the day. Ive been going to classes here for over 2 and a half years, and I cant praise it enough! Im in the best shape Ive ever been, and the self defense skills Ive learned have boosted my self confidence and pretty much eliminated my fear of walking anywhere alone at night. The instructors are knowledgeable, well trained, and genuinely care about giving you life saving skills. Not only do they train you effectively, but they also teach you about self defense laws so you can protect yourself in the legal battle that so often follows self defense cases. Ive never been much of an athlete, but theyve trained me to be a warrior! I hope to continue training with them as long as my body is capable of it! Its an absolute blast, and a great stress reliever! The class community is very welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend trying them out! You wont regret it!

I have been attending Krav Maga of Southern Colorado for 5 months now and I cant recommend the gym enough. When I initially began searching for a krav gym in CSprings, my expectations were limited to a good workout and self defense skills. I did not expect the sessions to carry with them such positive energy, quality instruction, and diverse friendships (I must say, this is one of my favorite aspects). The classes bring in people of all types and ages, and I have learned a little something from everyone I have interacted with.If you are looking for a gym to train with, look no further. Robert and Tyler will provide you with individualized support and, more importantly, a fun family to train along side with.

Krav Maga of Southern Colorado is outstanding! My background is 22 years Military and some limited law enforcement training since then. I was looking for a place to expand my skill set, work on self defense, and frankly, after running for 34 years with mutilple injuries, a change of pace and an increase in my cardio. After wrestling in high school, as well as cross country, I knew how much three minutes of hands on sparring can tax your cardio. My first impression of the class was on a Monday. Rob and his son Tyler were outstanding! The first thing I liked was the discussions about self defense. First of all Krav Maga is a defensive system that uses martial arts. It is designed by the Isreali Defense Force to be taught to recruits in a matter of weeks. So that means no mystical aspects of martial arts, that frankly, at age 47 I do not have time for. What I liked about my first class was that there was a heavy emphasis on the legal difference between self defense and a fight. This may sound small but it is a very important as it is the difference between articulating why you did what you had to do and going to jail. I have been to a few dojos over the years that have described self defense situations that in fact were a description of why you would be hauled off to jail and charged with something serious. Rob and Tyler were very specific in describing the difference, and that got my attention. The second class that I did was weapons Wenesday. During those classes generally they conduct open hand defenses against training knives and guns. This may sound daunting to you, but be assured the training is outstanding and you will learn quickly. Krav is designed so that you can use large muscle movements quickly as a reaction to these situations where a weapon is presented. It is effective an it works, and it is a heck of a good time. Be assured, during all these techniques and scenarios, safety in training is highly emphasized and observed. The training is very good and builds your strength, cardio, and skill set all at the same time. The classes are, depending on which day of the week, split evenly between men and women. For the ladies out there, do not be intimidated by this class or my discription above. There are ladies with numerous skill sets in our classes and some of our fiercest warriors are women. If you have a military or law enforcement background this is outstanding training. There is periodic additional training for LEOs and Military dudes that is very helpful in skill set development and maintenance. The drills and training are the excellent and varied. One more thing. If you think that you can seriously study any defensive system from Krav, MMA, any eastern martial arts discipline, to basic sparring that you learn in inital military training, without having developed your cardio system then you are seriously mistaken. The great thing about Krav is that it trains you and increases your skill set and cardio so that you can do Krav more effectively. 180 seconds of serious self defense can be an eternity, you need to train like you fight and fight like you train..... All so you can walk in peace.

My experience was about nine months ago. Decided to try MMA again and during my search for a place, I remembered a terrible experience I had with Krav Maga or Southern Colorado. Perhaps my experience was bad because I tried them out with a groupon in hand and most places tend to treat you poorly if you purchase a groupon. Not sure why they sign up for groupons then. Anyway, I had a bad experience and did not return after the first and only lesson I attended. I wasnt welcomed nor did I feel I was welcome during the entire lesson. Had no idea what to do. The main instructor was more concerned about how violent and dangerous a Walmart parking lot can be. No, he was not joking either. Did more cardio than actually learning any MMA. If I wanted to sign up for a cardio class, I would do that at a gym. Also did not receive what the groupon stated. Bad experience. Will not return nor will I refer anyone I know.
